This item was easy to install. Although originally thought it was motion detection, it is not! But.. saying that, we did need a stay on light so all worked out in the end. Bright enough to light up the patio and not to bright to be a nuisance.
Item came faulty and seller quickly changed the item. Works as it says but no motion sensor!!

I purchased the cheaper model with no motion detection.
I don’t need the motion detector because it’s being used to provide free light at night instead of having several lights left on for the kids. The first one works well so i got a few more for the hallways, obviously positioned near Windows, the on off and high low switches are on the solar panel but if you fit an inline switch it will make this more convenient when attached outside. But saying that it works with the solar panel on the window sill inside which is SW facing.
Easy to install, didn’t read the description properly thought it was motion activated, but doesn’t say that in the listing, so my fault, however so far so good feels a lot tougher than most lights I have brought, that are all plastic.
Great for over a door as you can adjust the side lights to angle straight down towards your lock, or wherever you wish to light up, Also better solar panels and larger batteries and a great price
This product does have a night time motion sensor try reading the manual properly !!
