Granddaughter wanted this doll for her birthday. And to see the excitement on her face was like on a Christmas morning.

Daughter loved the mermaid doll but I have noticed the doll has shed quite a bit of her hair, found on my carpet after my daughter first opened and played with it.
This is a beautiful colour changing mermaid doll. She arrived partially packaged with her tail open to the elements, which is a purposeful part of the packaging design, giving the buyer access to the product allowing one to interact with the tail and it’s moving parts.
She has stunning curls and fully embodies her ‘rock chick’ look. When introduced to warm water, her tail changes colour, similar to a recent Barbie trend, but this mermaid has a whole new style of her own.
Definitely one of my seven year old daughter’s favourites and well worth the current price of 24.99.

The doll is made by the same company that created Bratz dolls, so if your child or yourself, are a fan of these I am sure that will be A great addition to your collection.
Those mermaid dolls come in a very uniquely designed box, that all in all if you do plan to give the doll to someone as a gift, is in a good shape to be wrapped up.
The doll looks super beautiful and really cool at the same time with all the accessories that she comes with.
I really love her purple hair and the rock chick style with guitar, cool earrings, shiny jacket and harness belt. The bottom of the tail moves back and forward but it’s a bit stuff so you have to be careful not to use it too much to avoid snapping, though it seems to be made pretty well so it shouldn’t be an easy thing to do.
The last but the best thing about this doll is the fact her tail colour changes when you pour water over it, so that is defiantly something that I have not seen before.
Overall I think it is a super cool doll to get for a gift or for yourself if you collect dolls, as she will definitely look great in your collection.
My daughter really likes this particular doll and I do too. It’s not your usual run of the mill pretty doll, it depicts her as a bit of a rock chick and that’s nice to see them looking a bit edgy! Showing how she can be portrayed in a different light.
The coloured hair is soft and brushable, and this particular doll goes really well with the rest of the collection. A nice item especially if your child enjoys the monster high dolls.
great doll for a girl who loves mermaids and dollys. The doll is very well made to a high quality. My daughters fave bit is that the tail changes colour when submerged in warm water. The details on the face are great and it looks as close to real life as it can for a doll. great toy hoprfully they will make more as my daughter would love a collection.
Full of detail, a lot of character, with fun little accessories. When placed in warm water the tail changes colour from blue to silver and the lower body changes from blue to pale blue, but only the front changes (see video), the back stays the same colour.
This is a gorgeous doll, with inset eyes, masses of pale purple hair and lovely eyelashes. She’s a rock chick mermaid, with guitar, funky outfit and a tail that is also a stand. Placed in warm water, the tail apparently changes colour. Frankly, I didn’t want to spoil the doll, so I haven’t tried that. Presented in an open package, riviera is not your average doll. I don’t think she’s suitable for younger kids, though is promoted as being for 4 years and over. This is a doll for an older child, perhaps preteen or teen, even adult. And doll collectors will love her. The doll is quite highly priced, but would make a really good gift, though I might keep this one for myself.
These dolls come in a gorgeously designed box which has a large V cut out of it with the bottom half of the tail sticking through.
The boxes are approx 30.5cm x 30.5cm x 8.5cm & look designed for dolls to be kept & displayed in the box that way.
Each one of these girls is really beautiful, but they all seem to have the exact same head mould, just with different skin tones, eye colour, make up & hair.
These Mermaze Mermaidz are stunning but I have some issues with them & who they are aimed at.
Riviera is a rock chick who comes with an electric guitar.
She & her sister are meant to be a band.
She is the older sister of Harmonique (there is a new web series available on You Tube but it only has a couple of episodes right now)
The outfit Riviera is wearing is very similar to the one she wears on the show, as is her colour change tail.
Her tail is very rock styled (each doll has a very different tail fin)
From the waist down, her tail is hard, rigid plastic with the jointed tail fin meant to work as a stand when folded.
In practice I struggled to get Riviera to stand on her tail (possibly because her hair is so heavy) & when I managed the slightest breeze/walking past etc… seemed enough to knock her over so for display she is best either in the box or on a doll stand.
Her head is jointed to move side to side with a little movement up & down so poses beautifully.
Her eyes are stunning – inset with individually rooted eyelashes.
Her make up is the same as on the show including the glitter stripe across her face.
Her upper body is well jointed at the waist & also just under her bust.
Her hands can come off to change clothes more easily (all 5 dolls can clothes swap) & pop back on without trouble (they are slightly squishy feeling plastic), they can be rotated at the wrist quite freely to pose.
Her left hand has a moulded on glove so it cannot be removed.
Her left forearm has a moulded on bracer.
She is also jointed at the elbows & shoulders.
If dipped in water, it colour changes quite dramatically & looks fantastic..
The dolls (other than thier clothes) are intended to be got wet, but her hair will need restyling after getting wet so I didn’t want to risk it.
Although the box art shows her hair going to approx knee length, it is pretty much down to where her ankles would be. It’s a bit messy at the ends & is thinly rooted on the sides if you lift it up to look, but she has so much hair it’s actually quite heavy.
You are advised to remove their clothing (they have painted on bra style tops which can get wet), different for each doll) before playing with them in water.
Her tail is hollow so you need to stand her upright on a towel to make sure she is drained properly after putting her in the water.
One thing I do really dislike is that she is fixed in the box with a string that goes into her tail through her waist & it’s almost impossible to get the last bits of string out, so you end up with a little bit sticking out each side.
She has pull out earrings which I wouldn’t say are suitable for smaller kids.
Taking them out of the box pretty much destroys the box.
I would say they are better quality than Barbie level but the clothes are not quite as well made as Rainbow High doll clothes.
The web series etc.. seems aimed at a younger age group, but the price & the look of the dolls feels more like it’s aimed at the collector market.
They really are so very pretty I can’t help but love them & I think Riviera is my favourite of the 5, I’m just not really sure who these are aimed at.

This doll is far superior to the other well know dolls. She comes with an accessory and colour changing fin. The tail is like a hard plastic but the fin can move. She is packed up and a funky shaped box, very colourful and eye catching kids will love this Suitable for 4 and over..
These dolls are the slap on the face of these-days Barbies, Rainbow High dolls and all the other dolls that are produced mainstream and in unlimited editions.
For one, this doll has almost inset eyes and real eyelashes. It can lean on its tail and stand, sort of. This particular doll’s face is shining (sparkles on the cheekbones).
This particular doll has that pale Goth appeal, very intricately delivered by the manufacturers. But I will they went one step further.
I recon the manufacturer should stop making these dolls in huge numbers. They should make the dolls limited edition, make the tails removable, make different molds for the faces (this one is cute but its charms will last only this long), add the price on, and they will sell. These dolls will sell. They are gorgeous. And if the manufacturer kept the doll closer to its prototype on the box (with hand-painted eyebrows, they would have cost only 10p more to produce but would bring a monstrous lump of profit, those eyebrows alone).
Now, I am an ex-doll-collector and the one thing that gets in the way of bringing on a new doll collecting frenzy (pandemic-size) is this everlasting tail. These dolls are offered as a playline doll and they certainly have playline feature (colour-change), but being so heavily sexualised, these dolls are definitely aimed at a grown-up. And they are quite remarkable as a collector doll.
This particular 5-dolls series is quite remarkable. This face mold plays so differently in different colours. Apart from Harmonique, this face is quite different every time it comes in different colours. Each doll has quite a prominent character and the faces are quite spectacular.
The accessories are usual rubble, clothes are a disappointment, as usual with these dolls but they, at least, look very nice and don’t fall apart in your hands. But I honestly think the manufacturers should up it and turn it into a pure collectible. Why so?
Simple. A child who would love to play with a doll whose tail is permanently there would be aged somewhere between 3 and 5. For audience this young, this doll is too complicated/fidgety. Its hair is thick and lovely and it pulls the head to one side so it snaps back even if the child would try to rearrange it. The doll has zero educational value. Your child will lose interest almost immediately, unless they are really keen on their dolls and would be able to forgive the everlasting tail. Then, there is this grown-up aesthetics of sticking-out nipples and pouting lips. Children need room for imagination (and definitely not of that sort) – they are creating their own worlds in their play with the toys they can associate with easier. Someone’s funky clothes and flat bellies are for a grown-up shelf, not a child’s toy box. And, finally, the question of quality of the materials. I strongly suspect this plastic/vynil is not plasticine free and I doubt it is that non-toxic safe type Sylvia Natterer’s dolls and Zwergnase are using. For a child, a child doll will be not simply more appealing, it will be a healthier option (and so it will be for the planet, although, for the planet, a Rubens Barn doll and a Haba doll would have been ideal). So this doll, however gorgeous, falls short of the necessary elements to keep it a proper keepsake-worth toy for a child.
For now, I have only taken Jordie out of the box, so if you want a VIDEO, look that doll up.
All in all, it is lightweight, it is well presented and its box is not sealed completely, where the tail is there is a hole in the plastic cover so the doll is in the open. The doll of the year, for a grown-up.
Das Gesicht ist groartig und weist keinerlei Fehler auf. Der Fischschwanz ist herrlich detailliert und das Design ist absolut kreativ, besonders das Iron Mermaidz T-Shirt.
Leider hat die Puppe mit ein paar kleinen Fehlern zu kmpfen. Die Jacke ist unglaublich steif und leider teilweise schlecht verarbeitet, es hngen eine Menge lose Fden ab. Die Gelenke der Puppe sind sehr leichtgngig aber mit der Jacke an ist sie so gut wie unmglich zu posieren.
Glcklicherweise ist das Top unter der Jacke wirklich herrlich anzusehen und wechselt die Farbe im Licht, daher ist die Jacke kein zu groer Verlust.
Grter Kritikpunkt fr mich ist die Verpackung, die extrem schwer zu entwirren ist, und ihr an sich wunderschnes Haar, das leider sehr leicht ausfllt.
Fr erwachsene Sammler definitiv ein Highlight, aber in Kinderhnden knnte sie sehr schnell beschdigt werden.
There were minor scuffs on her tail, but that’s to be expected when half of it is sticking out of the box. Otherwise, very happy with my purchase!

He de decir que no defraudan, son impresionantes. Tienen muy buena calidad en cuanto a detalles de los acabados, maquillaje, texturas, outfit. No tan bueno quiz en la calidad de la cola, tiene pinta de que si se cae, pueda romperse con facilidad, ya que, es de plstico hueco y rgido.
El cuerpo es completamente articulado en todas las partes (excepto la cola, que solo lo es la parte de la aleta), cabeza, hombros, codos, muecas, trax y cintura.
En cuanto al pelo es una pasada, viene muchsima cantidad y muy espeso, de hecho me ha venido mucho ms largo que en la foto, lo que hace que sea incomodo la verdad, y difcil de cepillar porque se enreda con facilidad, pero bueno, lo cortar un poco para mayor comodidad. Si es para ni@s creo que no es bueno cepillarlo mucho porque terminar siendo una bola de pelo, yo es para exponer asique no tengo problema.
La propia cola de sirena, hace de soporte al flexionar la aleta hacia delante, aunque he de decir que no es muy estable, se cae con facilidad si se mueve ligeramente…podran mejorar eso.
Y la ropa, pues en la lnea de las Rainbow High, calidad y detalles de la marca que les caracteriza, del estilo rock.
Al igual que el maquillaje, de los mejores que he visto en muecas, con mucho detalle y buen acabado.
En general la recomiendo al 100% pero mejorara algunas cosas para las prximas lneas.
