Unlike the previous one I am returning this one works!
In the computing world less is sometimes more. But it also means less is less powerful, but this is device whilst underpowered, is good enough and ideal as a secondary PC and as a portable computer you might want to take on holiday.
The 8gb of ram is well utilised as the Intel Celeron CPU will pass most of its functions onto the RAM due to the Celeron being a basic CPU type.
The rom chips acts as the hard drive and under the top panel which is easy to remove an additional SSD can be added easily.
The PC is Window’s based which is ideal for me personally so I have linked up the PC to my network and it is now active on my one drive also.
The setup was so easy, HDMI to my flat screen TV, rthis also takes care of the sound, find a decent wireless mouse and keyboard and you are good to go.

A very impressive and brilliant mini pc. I was impressed with how easy the set up is.
Up and running in less than 15 minutes, let it do all its updates and you have a fully up to date pc with registered windows 10.
Upgrading the internal parts is easy with a latch switch to remove the top case.
It’s responsive and perfect, I use mine as a streaming box to twitch, connecting it to my gaming pc.

Well worth the money, could have been better had it had a larger memory but you have the option to add to with ram memory.
The unit itself is very compact and discreet, appears very well made, great easy to follow instructions.
The set up is very easy, simply plug in and play straight from the box, due to the comapct size of this it is easily portable.
Comes complete with the latest windows update which in itself is worth the money, would highly recomend this to anyone.

I chose to set this up in the living room and connected to the TV via the HD cable, which is included, I am using a wireless keyboard and mouse. It means I can access my email and office functions etc without having to go through to the home office or get my laptop out. It also means I can set up slide shows to play directly to the TV etc. I have installed Office and it runs well; I have also installed a couple of programmes I use for streaming (I refuse to call them apps lol) as well as my calendars etc. I will occasionally pass time with some small games. It is not a gaming machine and is priced accordingly. I runs Windows 10 Pro, 64. I shall at some point soon try Windows 11, the processor doesn’t officially support Windows 11, but it should run it fine, remember to save your Windows 10 key first. I am impressed by this mini PC and in awe at how cool it runs. Definitely worth its price.
These boxes are small enough to mount behind a monitor (mount provided), providing a compact but functional PC. There seems to be a small CPU fan, which is very quiet, so quiet I thought this was passively cooled at first. The CPU is not exactly blistering in pace, so I’d imagine gaming is not really an option unless you’ve got older, less intensive games (I’m not a gamer). However it’s more than adequate for web browsing, document creation etc. I’m using mine as a media library manager for my NAS (I need something more complex than a typical setup) and this performs well in that role. It would probably be ideal for a child studying as well.
Connections are well catered for with 2xUSB 2, 2xUSB3, 2xHDMI, network port and a 3.5mm audio out. It has built in WiFi too.
I’ve built one of these to a similar specification before, using separate parts. Including a Windows licence, it came to a slightly lower price. However this comes with everything pre-installed (256GB SSD, 8GB RAM) along with a Windows 10 Pro installation that just needs the user account setup and you’re good to go. Hooking up to a spare monitor and a wireless keyboard/mouse, I was up and running within 10 minutes of opening the box. I would say that the time saved in setting up more than outweighs any slight extra cost over buying separate parts.
Should you want to upgrade any parts, access to the inside is very easy, with a simple latch for the lid. There is a mount directly inside for an additional drive.
It handles basic games as expected including browser based online games, it’s fine for YouTube videos and will be perfectly adequate for school work or basic college student homework too.
8GB or RAM is enough for every day tasks, but doing anything causes the CPU to max out. Don’t expect to be able to game on this. This is your basic every day computer.
Simple enough to open the bottom and put an extra hard drive in it (speeds of all drives attached). The onboard SSD is as good (if not better) than an everyday SSD.
I feel the limiting factor in this is Windows and the CPU. I may put linux on it to get more out of it. But the CPU just isn’t up to the job.
I ordered this Mini PC based on the specs and looks. For the money it is a great value. Set-up for this computer was a breeze. Includes a Vesa mount for installation on a Vesa compatible monitor.
Great for my needs, I got MAC and not all apps working on it so having Windows PC is very beneficial.
For what it costs and what it is, just fine. Would buy again.

You can’t believe they fit all that into a little box, it’s unbelievable, but they did it and it works and it does what it supose to. It had 6gb of internal memory but there is a slot for a MicroSD and also you could plug in a USB portable hard drive if needed.
I kniw I’m no tech head but this does everything we need and more without knowing it. No need for a old big pc tower anymore or monitor as we actually got this plugged into a TV, which means a even bigger screen to work off.
All we are useing it for is browsing and some online shopping basically. It’s also turns a normal TV into a smart TV, but I think I need to be show how to do all that again. Showing my age now lol.
We are useing it with a Bluetooth keyboard n mouse.
It works perfectly for what we are useing it for, can be a bit slow sometimes but I don’t know if that’s the pc or our actual Internet speeds fault.

This machine has got some skills, Really small and lightweight, easy plug and play mini PC with expandable hard drive, only took around 5 minutes max to get setup from cold boot to install and input the usual credentials.
There are numerous ports on this device which makes it ideal for connectable peripherals, most people use these Mini PC’s for an alternative to a desktop setup or use them for a media center server to supply media to your streaming devices
Noted storage after install is 97.4GB from the allotted 128GB that’s is advertised
RAM is a decent size for 6GB for a small machine but I believe you can order a larger version to 8GB
The unit is super quiet when in operation, you cannot hear it at all
Ethernet port is also present for direct connection to the router

In fact, if you consider the price you will be earning more if you buy this instead of a PC of the same price, but you will be at a disadvantage because this can only be used with external monitor, which will have to be purchased separately.
The fact that the chips are getting smaller and smaller, is making it possible to create magnificent things and cheap like this NiPoGi Mini PC Windows 10 Pro, 6GB RAM 128GB.
I still remember well how hard it was to buy PC with 6GB of memory, and I also remember that 1GB was more than enough for everything, and even left.
We are increasingly demanding our devices, making it necessary more and more capacity, especially the capacity of temporary memory, because now we want everything to happen as quickly as possible.
It’s no longer good to sit in front of the video and wait forever until something starts happening. “LOL”.
This NiPoGi Mini PC Windows 10 Pro, 6GB RAM 128GB will for sure be more than ideal for most utility that most people need.
The biggest weakness in my opinion is the fragile construction that the exterior appears to have.
A complete computer so small, just add any TV, Monitor or Projector use it like you would with on regular PC. At the moment it is not ready for Windows 11.
This is even smaller than I thought it was going to be and is really quiet which is great. Took me a while to set up but I’m not the best at these kinds of things so I imagine it would take others a lot less time. It is however very easy to use once the initial set up is done and I’m really impressed with it.
I’m using this mini PC mainly as a media player, having connected it up to my TV.
Being a mini-PC, there’s not much you can do with it unless you have a screen, mouse and keyboard. There are two HDMI ports and three USB ports so I had no difficulty plugging in my mouse, keyboard and a TV. The mini-PC is so small and light that it fits very nicely on my TV table and leaves me room to move a mouse around. There are also ports for a TF card, headphones and LAN cable. I used a network cable to set up the PC but after that I switched to wi-fi, which has been working fine.
Setting up the PC was relatively easy, I didn’t need to use the instructions. It comes with Windows 10 Pro installed so before you do anything you’re going to have to let that install all the necessary updates. That process takes far too long, but that’s the nature of Windows 10, it’s exactly the same on my laptop. Once I had installed all the updates I downloaded my preferred video player, transferred some movies onto the PC via USB and I was good to go. Two of the USB ports are USB3.0 so transferring files is nice and quick and there is an option to add more capacity if the internal SSD is too small for you. I haven’t needed to do that however.
There isn’t anything else installed on the PC, so if you want to be using Office programs you’ll need to install those yourself. I’ve had no issues with performance. It’s great for web browsing and media playback but I’m not sure how suitable it will be for gaming as I generally game on consoles – I imagine that some games will need better specs.
The PC is small, super light and quiet and does exactly what I want it to. There are a good set of connections to allow me to connect hard drives and memory sticks as well as mouse, keyboard and screen, and it’s quick to start up. Build quality seems OK, it’s mainly plastic but that keeps the weight down. It’s also nice to have an SSD drive rather than the old spinning variety, so overall I’m very happy with this mini PC.
A small compact pc, easy to connect to the tv via hdmi or to a monitor. It has a good selection of ports and is extremely quiet in operation. I did have to change the tv hdmi settings to get a full screen, then it was a full screen. Setup was a bit of a pain. The keyboard connected fine but the wireless mouse did not, and because I do not have a wired mouse, had to use the keyboard to move around which was not easy. There is no pre-loaded software, so to use as intended I had to download utilities. A simple press of the button turns it on and off. It is great as a Plex server if you do not have a NAS drive. It s not the most powerful of machines, this is not really a main pc. On the whole, it is a good machine depending upon what you want it for.
However, if you need something for basic web browsing, email, editing documents, etc. then this is perfectly fine. It’s not quite as polished as a “proper” branded machine, but it absolutely does the job and for the price I think it’s great.
I had very few problems setting it up. I’m quite good with computers but I didn’t come across any issues that would trip up anybody who isn’t. It easily connected to WiFi and then later on ethernet when I got round to running a cable to it. Window started up and registered correctly first time, and the normal Windows 10 setup procedure went smoothly. You mileage may vary of course, but for me it was absolutely fine.
It’s very small and neat and I like that it can be hidden away behind a monitor to make a super tidy setup. Again, performance is limited but actually slightly better than I was expecting so for the price I think it’s great value.
This is an excellent small form factor machine for less taxing/casual use. For the last few weeks I’ve been using it as a test machine for software development with no issues. After a fair bit of tinkering I got docker running and it now builds my tagged images – pretty neat for a tiny machine that sits behind my tv.
I’ll likely wipe it and install Linux at some point to see how much I can squeeze out of it but for now the installed version of Windows is fine.
Secondly, this is a low price high volume item, and has the advantages and disadvantages of both; cheaper when considering bang for buck, but support is low if you run into problems… and you may well run into problems if you do anything to change this PC, as we will see.
My first problem was the WiFi strength. It is fine so long as you don’t add a second hard drive, but if, like me, you realise that a 250GB drive is not enough and buy a second 1TB SSD, then the additional SSD fouls the WIFI aerials. Fine; a a quick search on the web shows it is a common problem, and the solution is easy – move the aerials… but you’ve now had to open the PC and move things around. A good WIFI is crucial when you first run this PC – there’s some horror stories in other reviews where they could not get it to boot because you need an internet connection to register the copy of Windows. So moral of the story; don’t start modifying this PC until you have at least booted to desktop once.
My second problem was that this PC specs are very exact; it supports *only* SSDs. It does not support spinning hard drives. A shame, because my first attempt at adding a second hard drive cheaply by using an old spinning drive failed miserably until I Googled around and found the way forward. The output voltage for this PC is low because it is a low power device, which means if you plan to use an external hard drive, that drive will have to power itself because the 5V USB out from the NiPoGi is low current. Even if you add a second internal SSD, there may not be enough voltage to power it and it may keep dropping out, so be prepared to do some homework.
My third problem (and one I am still trying to solve) is that the LAN connection doesn’t seem to like my home Netgear Powerline network; it won’t recognise the LAN connection, whereas another 4 computers I own will. If you can’t get it to boot and you are connected to a network node, you may have to connect the LAN cable directly into the main node (i.e. the black box that is the first thing the fibre/wire connection attached to as it comes into your house).
EDIT – I got the LAN working by using a cheap USB extender that has its own ethernet LAN port. Further, most of the problems with low power PCs like this one can be immediately solved by using a hub with powered ports. The core problem is that the built in ports on small form factor PCs are low power, and may not provide enough current for most peripherals other than the mouse and keyboard (especially non self-powered USB hard drive caddies, even if they are SSDs). The only port with decent power output seems to be the USB2 port.
However… and this is a big plus point – the computer works perfectly apart from the niggles.
The fan doesn’t comes on at all if the computer is on and doing light work, so most of the time the unit sits there completely silent. This is a low power device you can leave permanently on; the power plug is a small, low voltage affair no bigger than a standard UK plug and it doesn’t even get warm after several hours, so this PC is VERY efficient.
Although this is a slow computer by todays standard, it is a fast computer by the standard of, say, 10 years ago. 10 years ago, I was running Photoshop and Word on a computer with a CPU as fast as this one (specifically, an intel Core 2 Quad Q6600) and as much memory.
I can actually do Photoshop work on the NiPoGi as I installed the same version of Photoshop (Photoshop v5.5) on it. The NiPoGi is not a games machine though, at least not for modern games. Perfect for MAME and other retro emulators though, and very capable for general web browsing and office work. It plays high resolution video well, and the hard drive transfer rates are good, and the CPU is fast enough unless you want to do anything that would be better on a workstation… so no Blender 3D on this.
If you will be outputting the audio out into a sound system, the sound is ok but it may have a bit of power supply buzz. If you want quality audio out, get a cheap USB soundcard; Sabrent do a good one for a fiver (You’ll need one of these for any laptop if you want good audio out, so its not a problem specific to this PC – the power supply buzz is a problem on all laptops when you want a good wired audio out).
You also get Windows 10 Pro, and not home, which is a plus point if you want to do anything with the word ‘server’ in it. A Pro license on its own costs more than this PC!
So, in conclusion, if you can’t afford an Intel or Lenovo NuC, then this is a good option, but be aware that the cost cutting means some things are not as good, particularly global compatibility and support, plus you may run into problems with the fact that the output ports are low current. The support is simply a website with a customer message board for example, and the general conversation level is ‘informed prosumer’; if you don’t know how to jailbreak your phone, you’ll struggle here!
The fact that this PC comes with Windows 10 Pro gives the game away though; this PC is designed for someone who is an expert. It will work well as a home server or general purpose office PC/web browsing, but to get the most out of it, you need to know about computers.
If that’s you then this is a 4 star buy. If not, its a 1-3, depending on how many of the problems above seem like ones you will face!
This is a nice little bit of kit. Works well but can feel a little sluggish if you push it in any way. I’ve used a very similar model with plenty of CPU and RAM and it was great. The connectivity ports are good. Boots nicely and connecting Bluetooth or wired mouse and keyboard was really simple. When you get it leave yourself plenty of time to download all the Win 10 updates. It does not natively let you install Win11. You can though do a bit of Googling and if you are willing to do a fresh install and are happy to set up a USB stick with a ‘doctored’ Win 11 instal that you can find the instructions for then it all loads fine and then runs nicely. It actually feels a touch more nappy than Win 10. Overall, I would not use this for heavy work but most only use a PC for email and internet and this is fine. I’d get enough memory specifically but certainly good value.

This item comes in a beautifully neat branded box inside which the tiny PC is nicely packaged as shown. You only get a power lead, HDMI cable and a manual along with it, so need to ensure you already have any other necessary peripherals, from a keyboard and mouse through to an HDMI monitor and anything else you maybe want to use with it. But despite it’s tiny size it has everything you need to be able to connect most things as you’ve got 4 USB ports (2 x 3.0 and 2 x 2.0) along with 2 HDMI ports which is more than my desktop tower has!
Setting up is easy enough once you get your peripherals all attached. It’s somewhat awkward in that firstly it’s not really practical to have it standing up as there are cables coming out of 2 sides and some of my cables being thick and not so flexible tended to push the box over as it’s so surprisingly light. The HDMI cable that comes with it is similarly affected as it’s been folded so even when you unfold it, it’s still just awkward and not the easiest to work with. And the same if you have the box flat – you have to then cope with those leads poking out at what, for me at least, are awkward angles on my desktop.
But all that aside, once you get it up and running it’s pretty impressive for all the size of it – what used to take up a mountain of space in a large tower case has been miniaturised down amazingly – ok, so it’s only got 128Gb of space in the basic model which I’m reviewing, but the scope for expansion is still there in spades via either another mSATA/SSD drive, USB external drive or even just with SD cards. With the 6Gb of RAM it’s fast enough for most basic uses – I’m not sure I’d use it for much other than office apps or maybe some business projects, it’s certainly great as a backup device or for putting all your music on perhaps. Getting Windows set up on it was no different to any other machine and to get Win 10 Pro on it is quite amazing too.
While I was able to self build my desktop PC for around 250 or so a few years back it’s still a fairly basic model and obviously not overly portable, where this amazing thing is very much so, at least as long as you’re going somewhere you’ve access to the necessary peripherals. So this is certainly great value for money for most personal use at least and probably some business users too.
Wow this little beast is amazing! When the listing said small, I wasn’t quite expecting it to be as small as it was on arrival! It’s an impressive 14 cm x 14cm! This makes it mega compact and great for all items from your standard screen to connecting to a projector which I’ve done with this! I have my projector fitting to the wall above my bed and then an electric screen that comes down. I was currently using a smart stick but this is so much better. It fits on the same stand with ease and then I’m judging using a wireless mouse and keyboard to control. Being windows 10 it’s mint and really fast from the get go, easy to connect accessories too and setup. Once up and running it’s just like a normal computer, you can download everything you need, surf the internet and so on. It’s got a 6gb Ram so is really nippy and then has a built in 128gb hard drive. Thus making it great for document storage. I’ve been mainly playing games and waiting movies through it, so far it’s pretty good and I’ve had no problems. It’s really quite and does not get too hot! Absolutely love the blue glow when in use too. Comes with clear instructions for setup!
