Absolutely brilliant for my needs. Working from home in a tiny spot in a tiny room, you just want as much space as possible and this nugget of a computer is just the ticket. It’s only an Intel i5, but it’s more powerful than my current 2nd hand i7! Great memory with 16+500 and can be expanded as needed. Good number of ports, but you may wish to expand that with a docking station. Power supply and HDMI cables included in the box. I literally got it out of the box, plugged into a screen, plugged in a keyboard and mouse and it sailed through the set up with no issues. Brought over Windows 11, my Microsoft account and all set to go. So, obviously I’m using this in a work situation for all the usual Microsoft suite of programs, Teams etc etc. Haven’t used for gaming so can’t comment on that. For my needs, this is just brilliant and being from the stone age myself, it’s hard to believe a PC can be packaged so small these days!

    Powerful PC in nugget form!

This works great out of the box. All you need is a wireless keyboard and touch pad, add a vpn, virus protection and HWiNFO64 (to watch the temps) and this little computer is ready to go. I used this for movies, streaming, and web searches. NO gaming, the J4125 might be good enough for something like solitary but nothing else.

Trigkey mini pc is impressive, great features; setup was a breeze; windows 11 Pro done in a snap! Adding additional 2.5 SSD 256 GB for extra storage, easy internal install and wizard setup automatically walked through partition configuration: absolutely no issues. Trigkey mini pc is stupendous for the price point; highly recommend!

This Mini PC is basically the equivalent of something like an entry-level Chromebook in terms of overall power, that is to say, one of the weakest possible mini PCs you can buy. It’s fine as long as you understand how limited the N4020 and 4GB of Ram will be, from a hardware perspective. I wanted this specifically for using it for the most basic of tasks like browsing the web with just a couple of tabs open at a time. It’s more of a spare computer for my guest room than it is anything else. Windows 10 honestly requires more like 6-8GB of Ram just to be able to breathe comfortably, so you will probably encounter some stuttering and glitches from time to time. If there is any way possible, I recommend saving another $100 or so to get a model with 8GB of Ram and double this amount of storage. If you are really in a pinch and you need a basic computer for the MOST basic use cases, then you can get by with this box (assuming you already have keyboard, mouse, and monitor or TV.

Extremely fast and so easy to set up.
Came with Windows 11 already installed and so far very pleased with performance.
Would have like an SD card slot but not an issue that it does not..
    So compact and neat.

I got this computer to set up a DNS server and Wireguard server through PiVPN on an Ubuntu image – this works wonderfully for that as it is tiny (half the size of most routers/modems) and makes little noise. This setup allows me to log in to the network its setup up and connects to other devices even if I’m not home.

In Windows, the experience was fine – I installed Chrome, LibreOffice, and iTunes just to play around before I wiped it for Ubuntu. I would say the performance here was acceptable and similar to the value laptops you my see at your big-box retailer. I was able to navigate YouTube, FaceBook, and Amazon without any issues via Chrome, edit documents on Google Drive or LibreOffice and play content via VLC from my local media box @ 1080p30fps without any issues via the wifi.

Please note that Windows 10 Pro was installed via a Volume license key, this means you can’t install a fresh copy without a key of your own – thankfully Trigkey does offer a redownload on their website so you can clone their install if something ever does happen to your device. Volume keys can technically end whenever, but at this pricepoint, I think it’s an acceptable tradeoff.

Overall, if you need a little Linux server like me, then this would be a nice little power-sipping device otherwise it could easily perform well as Windows daily machine for users who just need a Windows computer every now and then.

I requested this knowing what to expect of it as I’ve had a mini pc with J4125 processor from another brand. I think this type of small-sized, inexpensive, lower power PC is perfect for light basic tasks.
I set up these at kitchen areas or guest rooms at home as well as vacation homes of families so that I and others can use them for web browsing, simple office work like sending emails, and watching youtube videos.
I think TRIGKEY stands out for its cost effectiveness in that you don’t want to spend much and don’t need something for heavy use like playing graphically demanding games, this one is a good choice!
This does with both windows 10 and 11, but staying with windows 10 might not be a bad idea as it seemingly operates fathers with it.

As long as you will be using this PC for simple daily tasks and not for extreme gaming or heavy multimedia editing you will be be satisfied. The N4020 is average for mini computers and it runs at a base speed of 1.1Ghz and 2.8GHz and there is surprisingly no lagging or freezing. This is also helped by the average 4GB of DDR4 RAM with a decent multitasking power. It feels reliable, stable and fairly snappy overall with the 128GB SSD, rather than a slower HDD.

The storage is expandable through the 2.5-inch SATA HDD 1 or M.2_NVMe_2280 x1. You can also put in larger storage, but you also need to get a SATA cable or Nvme SSD for connection. There is a VESA mounting option to mount it at the back of a display for a more clutter-free desk. Connectivity options include the Gigabit Ethernet for wired internet access, dual band 802.11ac wireless + Bluetooth 5.0, 2 x HDMI 2.0 outputs, 2 x USB 3.0 ports, 2 x USB 2.0 ports, a Type-C port, a headphone/microphone combo jack, and a TF Micro SD Card Reader.

The built-in graphics card will let you play very easy (least demanding) games with no problems. Although you can’t play intensive games on it or run very complex software, it does feel very snappy overall in daily operations, thanks to its 4GB memory and 128GB SSD.

In the box you’ll get the mini PC, a power adapter cable, an HDMI cable, mounting screws and a user manual. It is ideal for surfing the internet, playing songs, watching 4K movies and playing light games. Think of it more like a light home entertainment unit. Very light..

This Windows 10 mini desktop PC is the perfect size and value for my basic internet surfing and gaming needs, which are more than capable of being handled very well by this tiny desktop computer. I do not have the time or effort to keep up with playing the latest PC games, and I also highly prefer to use a PC over a smart phone to surf the internet, so while this PC is definitely mini sized, it is still mighty enough to play older games just fine and perform well at any other task I typically need it for.

It was very simple to set up for the first use, and in hardly any time at all I had already set up my preferred internet browser and gotten online successfully. Although it has continued to work fine for me since then also, I have not been using it long enough to honestly be able to predict how durable it will prove to be, so I will return to update this review if it eventually comes up with any serious problems or other notable concerns.

I’m really impressed with this little pc. I got it specifically to run a standalone piece of software for my laser engraver. The laser engraver burns and edges which releases smoke and fumes. So I have to do this out in the garage on a workbench. That’s where this computer comes in. I set it up in my office and I immediately was impressed. It took a little bit of time to get it set up. But once it was set up this thing flies and Boots up fast. Everything I’ve thrown at it from internet browsing to running my software has been a breeze. The solid state drive is expandable which I currently don’t need but it’s good to have and not have. Connects to my Wi-Fi even out in the garage so the antennas decent. The biggest thing I was impressed with is that I hooked it up to my 32-in Samsung gaming monitor which I have an expensive 4K graphics card running it. I didn’t think this little on board graphics card on this little tiny motherboard could produce a full size 2160 image. But it did and that’s why I took this video of it so you can see it. Big things do come and small packages and I am totally sold on this little pc. Plenty of USB ports to use to plug in devices. It has zero problems with my 1080 Acer LCD monitor out in the garage as well. If you’re looking for a good little PC for homework or to browsy internet or run software programs, this is a great choice and won’t break the bank.

I got this computer to set up as a business PC for my small web sales business. It is certainly capable of handling shipping label printing and web browsing with no issues, and I didn’t run into any problems with setup at all.

This mini PC was so light that I just HAD to open it up and see what’s inside (see attached photo). It is a very simple interior, and a lot of the missing weight is due to the fact that it doesn’t have a 2.5″ SSD or HDD (but one can be added, which I plan on doing soon).

So far, I was impressed with the performance, but I was curious how far I could go with it (just for fun!). I had a new USB-A SSD laying around, so I decided to install a game to it and see how this computer did running it. I went with the Sims 4, since it is a game I play often and know how it should run. For anyone curious, I installed the base game, all expansions, and all the game/stuff packs and kits I own (which is over half I believe).

I am SHOCKED that a PC of this size and price could launch TS4 at all, but it runs surprisingly well. It is perfectly playable on medium graphics settings – not the zippiest or prettiest, of course, but still. I’ve been playing on it for a couple days now with no problems, just some lengthy loadings screens. This is a surprisingly demanding game, and the fact that it can play on this PC while also running off of a USB-A SSD is just crazy to me.

Basically, what I’m saying here is that this thing is a pleasant surprise. It is great for business use, especially with it having Windows 10 Pro, and can handle a surprising amount more gaming than I would have expected. I would absolutely recommend this little PC, especially at the price of less than $250.

Amazingly capable for the size and price (...and it can game!?)!

This compact PC offers decent performance in a compact package. The outside is a matte gray finish with a red power button that glows when the computer is on. There are two USB-A ports on the front, along with a headphone jack. Around back are two more USB ports, ethernet and two HDMI ports. The computer comes with Windows 10 Pro pre-installed, and set up is very easy to do. The best part of this is what the computer does not have, which is a lot of extraneous software installed – it’s a clean install with just the things that one would need to get up and running.

Performance for day-to-day tasks is fine. I don’t experience any lag in launching applications, and the computer responds well. Online media playback is very smooth with HD video content. Wireless networking has good range. The 128 GB SSD performs well – applications launch very quickly. There is space inside for adding a second 2.5 inch HD or SSD – it’s easy to get to by removing 4 screws on the bottom of the case. Included are the mounting screws, and a short HDMI cable. It’s quiet in operation – when it’s pushed there is a hushed sound of a fan that is not objectionable at all.

This is a nice, well-performing PC in a compact package. It would be great for a minimalist that wants a computer that doesn’t take up much space, or a quiet home theater PC for playing back media. It goes about it’s tasks unobtrusively, and the price is certainly right.

When you get this, double check it is the correct one. I got one in the wrong box, but the right product. You need to check which processor it has.

I have this running as a mini PCs for in general is an option to the All in One. Using for basic tasks, nothing stressful like video processing or high end gaming. This is in a place where I don’t want a huge computer taking up space (kitchen area) but I hate All in One computers as it is difficult to upgrade them or deal with any issues that arise separately for the screen and the computer. . These work well, as you can have a monitor (which I also can connect my laptop up to) and a normal keyboard for writing longer papers and such. So works well as a backup sort of desktop for normal (again, not gaming or say, video processing) work.

I have another one of these minis working as a media server with an external HD attached. It works well for this, a real Windows install and a couple of USB 3 ports it works fine. This one will also support dual screen display even at 4K which is pretty nice for a mini PC. This one you might want to upgrade to a little better processors for a media server.

These are also good alternatives to say a Roku, Apple TV, Amazon sticks and such. You can hook hard drives up to these, and the just generally are more flexible. They are great for home theater as they are quieter than a tower.

    Specs for those who want more info;

The Intel Processor Gemini Lake Refresh Processor N4020 2 cores, 2 threads and 1.1 gGhz processor base frequency. This is fine for basic processing (browsing the internet, streaming Netflix, working on Google Docs) but not something you want to use for major gaming. I would suggest upgrading to one with a better processor if you are going to use this as a media server, 4 cores and 4 threads would be better. They only cost about fifty bucks more.

The Intel UHD Graphics 600 card is from 2017, so again, not for highly demanding games. It has DDR4 and a core speed of 300-700 MHz.

These come with various SSD sizes. If you are going to use it as a computer, I would suggest a larger one, as a media server you can just store your stuff on an external drive.

So a “complete” computer in an approximately 4 1/2″ x 4″ x 1 1/2″ package? I didn’t know what to expect, and the review unit I received was the lowest specced and lowest price model in the array of offerings.

The little black box comes with 4GB of memory, a 128GB SDD, 2 HDMI outputs at high resolution, four USB 3 (type A) ports, and an ethernet port. There is a headphone/mic jack and a power brick. No Bluetooth, but there is up-to-date wifi. The CPU is 2-core, variable speed up to 2.8 GHz.

The power brick is not a good design and takes up too much space on a power strip. Furthermore, the cord is too short, meaning you have to position the device somewhat close to the brick. Okay, those are relatively small things.

The real question: How does the unit perform? It ships with Windows 10 home, and the base unit is woefully under-specced for modern Windows. 4 GB of RAM just doesn’t cut it and the 2-core CPU is minimal. Maybe good enough for surfing the web or simple tasks, but just too underpowered. You can get a unit with 8GB of RAM, and a larger SSD (128 GB is too small for Windows these days) but now we’re talking at least another $100, and for a couple of hundred more you can get a serviceable laptop.

If you’re going to run Windows 10 or 11, unless you have a very special, particular and limited use case, this is NOT the thing to buy.

And remember, the price of the little box doesn’t include monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers or headphones, or anything but the box itself and a single short HDMI cable.

So I did what I always do. I installed Linux (in this case the Endeavouros distro), which is more adaptable to low-spec machines. Here’s what I found.

    1. The display is awesome. The 3840×2160 display on my 21″ monitor is fabulous, in fact a little too much so, as my old eyes found things were too small. But it’s great.

    2. Linux runs comfortably if not extraordinarily. The small amount of RAM and the weak CPU means that things like large compiles or computational intensive work runs quite slowly, but most other things do fine. LibreOffice is quick and responsive, Emacs runs very well, web browsing with Firefox is just fine, and multimedia plays with no issues. You just can’t do a lot of things at once.

    3. The headphone/mic jack just didn’t work for me. It may be the TRS plugs on most of my cables (perhaps TRRS would work) but I didn’t get it working in the time I had available. I plugged in one of those little USB mini-soundcards and that worked fine.

    4. The four USB 3 ports were really useful. (Note there is no USB-C port; you’ll need an adapter to plug in USB-C devices.)

    5. The unit was surprisingly noisy with a loud fan that ran all the time at full speed.

    6. A very nice feature: you can add in an additional 2.5″ SSD. This is not well advertised but there is a connector in the cover that allows for this.

So the question remains, what would you use this for and why would you buy it?

Well, right now I’m using it as an admittedly compromised backup for my failed desktop computer, during the very long wait for delivery of a replacement. There is the surprising advantage of being able to use most of my peripherals, such as my mechanical switch keyboard, my trackball, high quality speakers, and large monitor. Yes, I could use all of these with a laptop and a docking station, but swapping the cables into the little box was really easy and at least I can get some work done while waiting. But I really think this only applies to Linux users.

I could also see using this in a kiosk or similar environment.

It’s in most ways not at all suitable for portable use, as you need a full compliment of peripherals including a monitor. It’s NOT a substitute for a laptop.

Should you buy it? That’s a big maybe. Think about your use cases first, and then recognize that with no peripherals, this is not as inexpensive as you might think. If you do buy one, go for a model with more RAM.

I will rate this 4 stars. I had thought about 3 stars but gave the benefit of the doubt.

I got this for my kids to use while being home schooled and its perfect for this task.

The construction is well made and its very small. Upon inspection, I did not find any bad spots or cracks, and every USB etc. port works.

The installation is very simple and comes pre-loaded with Windows 10 Pro. Once setup everything worked as it should.

For home school task, this PC is great and inexpensive for what you get. It easily handles everything and uses very little power which is a plus since it’s on for several hours a day.

I did not update to Windows 11, so I am not sure it will work. For gaming AAA titles, you will want to avoid this PC. This is more for school and office task rather than gaming. 4GB DDR4 and 128G SSD is good for what I do, so I am happy with it.

Overall, I am very pleased with this PC and I will be looking to get another one soon.

The mini PC market has largely been the domain of tech savvy people who use them for retro gaming consoles, running home media servers, and similar projects. I’m one of them!

But in giving this tiny Window 10 box a workout, I’m convinced that a lot of casual users would prefer something like this to their desktop PC, if they knew mini PCs like this existed.

With 4gb of RAM and 125gb of space on the SSD drive, most of that taken up by Windows, this mini PC is hardly a powerhouse. It chugs a bit on most advanced tasks that even my older desktop can do just fine, such as basic video editing. And you will need external storage space if you plan to download things or install large software. (It’s possible to upgrade the SSD, but it’s a delicate task.)

HOWEVER, it’s ideal for basic home uses, such as email, web browsing, paying the bills, watching Youtube, etc.

Setup was a breeze, literally nothing more than plugging in the power, connecting it to my home network (you can do this via Wifi or a direct connection to your router), and plugging in a USB mouse and keyboard. That’s it.

From there, it functions just like any full-sized computer would. Fire up a web browser, browse the web. Send off an email. Watch cat videos on Youtube. All of these basic functions worked flawlessly.

I also used my online business suite and had no issues there, either. Spreadsheets, text documents, and slideshow presentations were all easy to work with.

I ran some software from an external drive and while loading times were a bit slower, I was able to use audio editing software and play some games — older games, of course — from the drive with no issues. If you want to turn this into a retro box for older console, or install your PC classics from GOG onto an external drive, this will do the trick.

The big draw is how small it is. It’s so small it could be a coaster for your cup of coffee — not that I recommend it! You can hook it up to your TV and with a small wireless mouse and keyboard, and have a fully functional PC in your living room without taking up any space whatsoever. That’s terrific.

Have a small apartments or dorm room? This is ideal.

Again, the specs are pretty dated at this point. You won’t be playing the latest on Steam with this PC. But for the average / casual home user, this is a great option to having a big, clunky old computer. I’m really happy with its performance in that regard.

It’s suitable for office use, too, provided you don’t rely on chunky modern software. If all you need is some simple word processing or billing software and the like, this will do the job, and for minimal cost.

Very impressive how far home PCs have come! Thumbs up!

The speed at which tech advances can be remarkable. This little mini PC is the horsepower equal to the desktop I’m typing this review on, except instead of being a giant paperweight the size of a small appliance, it’s a tiny box the size of a paperback book.

And it really does get the job done, too. This is a fully functioning Window 10 machine that you can use like any full-sized PC, with some caveats.

In my case, I installed Reaper so I can use it for music production. It’s also ideal for a retro gaming box, to use as a Plex server, as a living room media server for streaming services, or even as a space-saving PC for casual use such as browsing the web, emails, word processing, etc.

It doesn’t have the horsepower to install Steam and run modern games, and the included SSD drive is small enough so that isn’t much of an option, anyway, but most non-gamers will find a surprising amount of functionality in this little box.

Note that I DID install Steam on it. You CAN do it. It WILL run some games, but your gaming will be limited to low-impact games, and Steam itself was sluggish for me. I opted to uninstall it.

The HDMI out is easy to connect to an existing monitor or television. Picture looks good, too.

It’s got enough USB 3 ports so that you can have a mouse, keyboard, and external drive hooked up and still have open slots available. Worst case scenario, you might need a USB hub for more devices. With a wireless mouse and keyboard plugged in, this thing takes up next to no space. I saw someone suggest mounting it to the back of your monitor. Cool space-saving trick!

Read times on the external drive I used were good enough to play large 4gb video files from it, as well as to run software from the drive (in my case, Reaper, which is audio production software). No complaints here.

The included 8gb of RAM is plenty for these functions.

I also used some of my commonly used online tools, such as Google docs, and it performed as well as my desktop.

WiFi speeds were decent. Connecting to my home network was easy enough. Again, no different than any other PC. Though ultimately, I opted to hard-wire into my network using the LAN port.

Internal storage IS an issue, with a mere 128gb SSD installed, most of that space taken up by Windows. If you’re using it as a file server and have external storage, that’s not an issue. Same with basic web browsing, word processing, and most retro gaming. But big installations won’t be possible, and forget about storing a lot of files on the system itself. It’s possible to upgrade the SSD, but the box is so small I’ve decided to skip that for now. External storage does the trick just fine.

The included manual offers ZERO information you can’t tell by looking at the device itself, but I don’t know that that’s a big mark against it, since it’s likely anyone buying this is already at least moderately tech savvy. (Seriously, all it does is tell you what the various ports are, as if you don’t already know.)

This is basically a 5-6 year-old Windows PC in a tiny, tiny little black box, for an affordable price. For dorm rooms and apartments, this is a HUGE space saver. The small profile also makes it fantastic for turning it into a living room entertainment server, or mere to have a PC in your home without taking up a lot of space. You can hook it up to your TV or monitor, and it’s compatible with third-party mini-monitors, too.

I’ve used Raspberry Pi systems before, and this thing is every bit their equal. In fact, getting more built-in USB ports almost makes it an upgrade.

I’m impressed enough so that when this desktop dies, I may replace it with one of these. It’s perfectly suited for simple web browsing, streaming video, etc.

    Big, big thumbs up.

In a way, this is a pretty minimal PC, with only 128GB drive and 4GB RAM. However, I mounted a 500GB hard driven into the spare space inside for added data storage—true plug and play, since it’s wired and ready to go. Software will be installed on the main solid-state drive, and data on the 2nd drive. It is connected to a 32″ Sceptre monitor, which works perfectly with it. I also attached a USB hub to accommodate the mouse receiver and wired keyboard, as well as a webcam. During setup, I couldn’t get the PC to recognize my wireless keyboard, so I am using a wired model (which I prefer anyway). The PC was simple and quick to set up, although Windows 10 updates took a while to download and install. It will be upgraded to Windows 11 when it becomes available to me. The 4GB RAM card should be more than sufficient for my intended purposes, but it is good to know I can easily expand it to 8GB. I’ve had a few Mac Minis (including the newest M1), but this is the first Mini PC I’ve tried, and I’m impressed with the performance of this “low-end” model. I don’t use a PC everyday (all my professional work is done on my Mac Mini), but I do need a PC for backup and for certain types of files, and this one will do fine. The average computer user usually doesn’t need more than a basic PC like this one. But it would probably not be up to the tasks of serious video and audio processing. Very pleased with this PC.

This review is for the N4 N4020 4+128 Mini PC

This PC is not blazingly fast, but it’s perfectly useable as a stand-alone desktop computer. It comes preinstalled with Windows 10 Pro, but according to the Microsoft Windows 11 Compatibility Checker, it can be upgraded to Windows 11. The 4G RAM is adequate for a low-end mini PC like this, but the 128G drive is a bit small for the “C” drive. Slightly over 80G is already used by the Windows Operating System. I didn’t investigate in detail whether the RAM and SSD can be upgraded, but did open the case to take a peek. From the looks of it, I speculate both the RAM and SSD can be swapped for larger versions (the Intel N4020 CPU can accommodate up to 8G RAM). There’s also accommodation for installing a 2.5″ internal SSD or disk drive (see attached photo). There’s build-in sound support on the motherboard. USB headsets worked fine. I tried connecting speakers directly to the 3.5mm audio port. It didn’t work. Maybe some amplification is needed.

Overall, I really like this mini PC. I will be using it to test out Windows 11.

Windows 10 Pro preinstalled, but compatible with Windows 11 (N4 N4020 4+128 PC)
