his is a spy camera module with wireless connection feature, itself could be an wifi access point or it could connect to any wifi network to provide real time streaming
it uses a mini lens which could hide discreetly in anywhere, however the control module and antenna are actually quite big, so it still need something bigger to disguise better; there are a few lens mount could help the job
tested it for a few day and the battery could run continuously for 2 hours with a full charge, video will be saved in the sd card, tested with a 64gb sd card it work very well
from the product specifications, it could record in 4k, from the app it also shown 4k, however i found the actual video is only 1080p but not 4k
anyway, the video quality itself is just average, well it could capture the scene and sound but definitely not into detail, not even the numbers on car plate from a reasonable distance, any mobile phone camera could do better than this
anyway, it should have its value in some situations, just bear in mind it’s definitely not designed for video quality

One of the best pieces of equipment, it is incredibly tiny and yet is able to capture very decent quality video. The camera can be placed anywhere and has wifi. If you’re in range of the camera you can connect to it and set it up so that you have a live feed else you can use the app to connect the camera to your wifi router and watch the camera from anywhere. The camera also has a sd card slot which allows you to set the camera up to record locally based on manual input or motion detection in high resolution and save the video to review later.

This is ideal for small projects. The camera is remarkably small and on a decent length of cable from the body. The body is a little large and the antennae is also a little large, but overall it’s a good device
This wee camera is fun, we got it to play with as my son is very keen on anything of that kind (spy gadgets).
Its quite light in weight.
There is a control box connected to it which is a little awkward to place if you wanted to wear the camera and have it peep out through a button hole.
You charge it up with its usb cable.
It gets quite hot while charging and shows a green light which goes out once finished.
You can use and charge at the same time.
We tried hiding it in its own box and poked a hole in the side for the lens part to look through.
Along with the camera come a few little ‘button’ shapes to hide the lens with.
Really they dont hide it as they are black so you would need to be wearing a black coat or hiding it in a black object for them not to show.
Leafy Plants are a good place for it to hide as you can use the leaves and branches to support its components and drape the camera’s ribbon over them quite inconspicuously.
The lens is a bit tricky to keep in place through a hole. It worked best by sticking a bit of tape over its back.
This could realistically be used for some clandestine recording or monitoring of a suspicious event. EG possible thefts or abuses of responsibility.
The picture isn’t bad.
In 4k mode you get a longish lapse in video , in the lower quality, it is still clear and easy to see and the timing is nearer to real time.
There is an App to download of 33 mbytes(we got the android version)
You can sign up or just sign in if you have a google account.
The app shows you how to connect it to your network or its own hotspot and then you can view the scene seen through the lens.
There is a flip to landscape and a flip to top /bottom incase the lens is showing a wrong view.
Take a picture that can save to the phone, or take a video.
You can set up motion detection or have it directly show what is sees.
Motion detection will send alert to you through the phone when movement is seen.
This camera doesn’t have night vision.
You cannot remotely move this camera.
There is no sound facility as far as I can tell.
The buttons available on the camera module are’ reset ‘and ‘on/off’
There is a micro SD card Slot but you don’t get a card with it.
It works without but if you want it to save to card you’d need to buy one, . We haven’t tried it with a card as we don’t have a spare one and it allows you to save onto the phone.
You do get a reader for a micro SD card.
The files you can save to an SD card can be viewed using VLC(a free computer app available online).

This is a very stealthy camera system, the camera lens is small enough to even be sewn into a teddy for a real spy camera, perfect for home security that nobody would ever suspect, I love that it can even create its own network with the phone at up to 10 meters meaning you do not even need wifi, of course, you will need home wifi for more than 10 meters range but it’s a great feature, image quality is good and overall I’m very impressed with this camera.
I want to use this camera as a more discreet version of a CCTV camera.
You need to download the app from the app store l, connect to the device hotspot.and connect to WiFi.
From the app you can view real time video and set alerts. I’m yet to play around with all of the settings, but there’s a few bits that can be changed and customized. While viewing the live video, you can record or take screenshots which is good to pick and choose what to record to save space on the SD card.
All in all it serves the purpose I need it for as a discreet CCTV camera to detect motion, view live video and record/screenshot if necessary. 4 stars.
This even comes in a ‘Spy’ looking black box
To be honest, I was not expecting great things from this … but I couldn’t have been more wrong if I tried.
Inside the box is the main camera, USB-A to Micro USB charging cable, a handy micro SD memory card to USB-A adapter, and some ‘button’ type disguises to hide the camera lens in.
Also included is a very readable instruction manual.
Now let’s just remember, that for 30.59 (at the time of review), you’re not getting 007 type equipment – but what you do get is the smallest camera I have ever seen – it’s basically the size of one of the camera lens you find in a smart phone … but this one is on a piece of flexible wiring connected to what is effectively a little portable battery powered mini wifi AP (and the main unit would have been even smaller if it didn’t have to house the 800mAh battery).
The app is simple to install and use and you can use it in direct Phone to Camera connection mode – using the camera’s own SSID (so basically anyway you want, but obviously is limited range), or you can connect the camera and your phone to the same 2.4GHz network (although some people don’t like 2.4G WiFi as it’s slower than 5G – 2.4G provides greater range and reliability).
The app is very easy to use and you DON’T have to subscribe to cloud storage (but can if you want to), you can record to a locally inserted micro SD (TF) memory card. There is also a microphone in the main unit (it’s not with the lens – so need to be mindful of placement if you want to record audio).
As default, the image was 1080 FHD – which was fine for static images, but if you want to record/see moving images, 1080 was not that good and I had to switch to 4K – and 4K was pretty good but obviously pushes up the size of the recording file.
Night vision was also very good – can be set to auto, off or always on.
So overall, at 30.59 (at the time of review), this is brilliant value for what you get and what it can do – even for the geek factor its worth it
For me, this is an easy 5 and would recommend if your in need for a little portable spy cam or just fancy a geeky little ‘toy’.
