Excellent for cleaning out my pond. Only waders that have remained watertight.
These replaced a thin PVC pair which got holes in easily, and an industrial pair I bought that had steel tow caps and a reluctance to fold small! 🙂
I just wanted something durable to kayak in. They go great under my dry kagoule, making a dry suit for less than 100 in total. 🙂 Fab.
These fold small, the feet aren’t massive, they don’t have steel toe caps and kept me bone dry for 10 hours a day.
Wonderful!
Plus they came in my favourite colour… black… I just couldn’t face carp green! 🙂
Very difficult to put on but otherwise does what it is supposed to do.
Because they are quite cheap compared to others I wasn’t sure what I was getting but, to be fair, they are very good for the price.
They certainly work well but I worry that they may not last long unless really looked after, particularly around the seams….time will tell.
Size seems accurate in UK.
I looked at the fishing equipment for launching my little rubber boat and was impressed how easy and useful these were.
This product is very good value for the money the wellies are very comfortable and the chest pocket makes it very easy too store your products you carry with you safely. Thank you for this product at such a great price .
excellent, comfortable to wear, kept me warm and dry all day
Seems to be a good product, little tight on the feet, I would order size above normal fitting.
I bought these for fishing and they are comfortable and waterproof but if you walk in them they are not breathable and condensation is a problem.
Warm & comfortable. However more suited to taller people. I’m average height and found the legs too long
Well made, and tough-wearing waders. They fit perfectly and I love using them. Cannot fault the price or the quality.
Really happy with these waders. I used to use waders with built in wellies and often found them uncomfortable and heavy.
I usually end up walking at least 20-30 minutes to get to my fishing spots and the wellies would rub on my calf I also found them not the best for moving about.
So I purchased a set very similar to these from decathlon and nearly 150. Using both I would say the only difference is that I prefer the sock on the decathlon set due to the fact it’s more shaped to my foot rather than a just a neoprene sock.
But this set has some advantages it has extra protection on the knees and comes with a repair kit.
I have had my old set a couple of seasons now and I’m sure these will last at least as long as the quality is as good.
Overall I highly recommend these and will be happy to purchase another set when needed.
I hope this review has helped you with your purchase.
Pretty good – they do the job, they’re nice and thick, without being too heavy. For the price I would have preferred sealed boots, but the neoprene socks are good for warmth, and at least with having separate boots, they can be removed without having to take the whole wader off. They’re also good as an overall – I use them in my garage as protection against paints and spirits too. They fit well and the straps don’t fall off your shoulders. All round very good.
Night Cat Fishing Waders with Stocking Foot.
These waders are well made, and they feel like they will be long lasting. I agree with other reviewers however. When you think of traditional waders you imagine boots to be attached. This avoiding water rising over the boots, and wetting your feet. These particular Night Cat waders have a bootie attached, rather than an actual boot. I have found them easier to wear though, compared with my last pair that did have wellingtons attached.
This is a suit that I thought my husband might be able to use when he goes fishing. When he saw it he said that it would be ideal for strimming in, oh yes and fishing.
the wader fit him well and he initially did like the socks, but he realised that he would have to wear the waders inside his boots! This is a bit daft as the waders are supposed to go over your boots and therefore keep your feet dry!
He tried these out when he went strimming as he didn’t need to worry about keeping his feet dry. He said they were very comfy to wear, they fit him well and he liked that there were various ways to adjust the suit, shoulder straps and also waistband.
He likes these although he still isn’t keen on the neoprene socks, I have a feeling these will end up being removed.
Overall a good suit, effective and seems like very good quality. He is happy so that is good enough in my book.
I was really sceptical about these waders as the price was too good to match the product description but I have been really impressed with how well these waders work and so far no leaks.
Very easy to put on with multiple adjustable straps and fittings to make them very comfortable to use.
They don’t come with built in boots so I used them with an old pair of crocs which worked perfectly. You would be taking a chance not to wear additional footwear because you never know what has been dumped and is lying on the riverbed, the rubber sock is tough but could easily get pierced by glass or sharp flints.
Overall a great set of waders at a great price and highly recommend.
I ordered these to be used in farm sheds rather than for wading or water use. They provide great covering and both the waist and shoulder straps can be adjusted for a neat fit. They’re ideal for dirty jobs like hosing sheds, removal of soaked litter and other necessary tasks. They’re very flexible, the plastic type material seems strong and the knees are padded. I’m confident they’ll last well.
They’re easy to put on and take off and after use can be hosed down and left to dry off for use the following day. Very practical and a repair kit is included which is useful.
WATERPROOF THREE LAYERR FISHING WADERS, CHEST BID WITH ADJUSTABLE ELASTIC SUSPENDERS, NEOPRENE ATTACHED STOCKING FEET. ZIPPED CHEST POCKET FOR STRAGE AND HAND WARMER POCKETS WITH MICRO FLEECE LINED. MULTIPURPOSE USE.
I have these night cat fishing waders with attached neoprene stocking foot in size XL.
They are a very comfortable and generous fit for my partner who usually wears size XL /XXL and is about 182cm tall.
The measurements are exactly as per listing description.
I like the practical design of these waders with waterproof zippable front pocket, belt, adjustable straps and knee padding.
They have a nice design and nice colours combination.
Fabric is of a decent quality, thickness and totally waterproof.
Great for the the price.
The last pair of chest waders I purchased were from a well-known American fly fishing outfitter. They cost almost 5 times the price of these waders and the seams leaked so badly after less than five full seasons that they were thrown away.
I was interested to try these oddly named ‘Night Cat’ fishing waders but was unsure what size to choose. The sizing table is offputting. I consider myself ‘large’ (at least by height – 186 cm = 6′ 1″) and have a 86 cm (34″) waist. My inseam is 33″ (84 cm) and I take a size 9.5 shoe. Clearly the large size was likely to swamp me … the ‘pant length’ (which looks from the diagram like the inseam) is 91 cm. The sock length appears to measure from the toe around the heel to somewhere above the Achilles. Does anyone have 42 cm long feet?
So, I opted for the medium and they’re a pretty good fit. The chest and waist fit well – both should be reasonably loose. There’s a waist belt to cinch in the slack and the H-shape suspender straps (slightly more difficult to get over the shoulder than Y shaped ones, though perhaps better support) have a good amount of adjustment to stop the chest panel sagging. The inseam is correct for standard walking but feels slightly too short for crouching and/or climbing over gates. However, considering the next size up is 5 cm (2″) longer I think medium is the correct size for me.
The neoprene boots have a seam around the edge – not running under the footpad – so are reasonably comfortable and they fit inside my wading boots. In my experience all neoprene stocking foot waders are a little uncomfortable in boots. You need to spend a bit of time adjusting the excess neoprene so it doesn’t pinch your feet. However, these are better than my last waders. There are gravel guards at the ankles with the usual riveted hook to attach to the boot lacing. Time will tell whether these – like my previous waders – eventually rust and fall off. However, it’s worth noting that the hooks are attached to a loop of webbing through which you could rig a piece of string to do the same thing.
All the seams look well finished (all are internally taped) and the detailing is good. The handwarmer pocket across the chest is flock lined for warmth and the chest zip pocket has a ‘waterproof’ zip. I’m not sure I’d trust the latter with total immersion as there appeared to be a small gap even when closed on the paid I tried. However, if you’re wading that deep you probably need a wetsuit. The chest sip is at the same height as the top edge of the bib, so you would be shipping water.
There is no internal pocket, no key loop in the chest pocket and no ‘comfort’ zip. Some purchasers may be put off my the branding across the chest.
Don’t be.
At about 80 (the price listed when they were sent to me, though I see they are now 67) these represent good, though not outstanding, value for money. There are a number of very similar looking waders listed here from 50-70. I would recommend only getting them if free returns are offered as the sizing is critical. and the supplied sizing table seems very odd in places – medium (the size I got) are listed as having a 48″ (122 cm) chest measurement. They don’t.
These are actually really nice for the price.
Took them out fishing today.
Spent about 9 hours in them and no leaks.
The stiches don’t look amazing but so far it’s waterproof.
Take breaks and bring thicker softer socks
These are very good quality waders promoted for fishing but, having worn them for clearing our stream, I feel they are also suitable for many more outdoor activities including canoeing.
They are made from a tough, hard-wearing nylon-type fabric which is completely waterproof, even for prolonged spells of sitting or standing in water and following testing in very warm weather, they are breathable too. The knees are reinforced fabric is sufficiently lightweight to be comfortable for walking and moving around without being restrictive or constrictive and the waders are comfortable to wear. The shoulder straps are highly adjustable to accommodate different heights and builds or for wearing either lightweight or chunky, bulky clothing beneath and there is an adjustable click-lock buckle fastening belt. I also liked the water-resistant zipped front pocket and convenient micro-fleece lined handwarmer pocket on the bib.
The attached ‘feet’, which do not leak or allow water to seep through either the fabric or the seams, are 4mm thick neoprene socks which fit my size 7.5 feet while wearing thick welly-socks for insulation. There are no soled ‘boots’ attached to the waders so I wore my canoeing ankle boots over them to protect the neoprene from thorns, rough surfaces, broken glass or other nasties out of sight in deep water.
I ordered the small size which wasn’t the best fit for me – although I didn’t expect it to be as a slim, size 12, long-legged woman ordering fishing gear designed for men! However, the loose fit is good because it allows warm clothing to be worn beneath during the winter and performance, durability and being fully waterproof and breathable is a higher priority than styling.
Inclusion of a repair kit and patch was a welcome touch.
As waders I find them excellent quality and value for money.
Very comfy waders, durable material, wasn’t too heavy or too thin. Kept me warm, fantastic product for an even better price! Would definitely buy them again.
The quality of these is for the price good value in my opinion and they feel great on, I much prefer these sock versions over booted versions as I’m fussy over my boots so get to choose my own with these, you get a very nice rapair kit with these too with clear instructions so overall I think they are great.
Multipurpose..
Nice quality..
Waterproofed seems.
Detachable foot socks.
Repair kit
Would recommend
These are really well made with good qyality material. I had the suze 12 to 1 for which I always have to pay a lot extra so these were reasonable. The fit is great, really comfortable and they come up high enough for me to reach the centre of the river which is the best casting place for the salmon. Flexible movement in them so I can recommend these happily
Fantastic waders. Superb quality. Perfect for cleaning out the garden or wearing when fishing. Very good.
My first impressions are the waders look cheap and unpractical. But once I’ve open the pack my opinion changed straightaway first thing I noticed is the repair kit superb with clear direct instructions on how to use then secondly the Waders themselves are a nice colour you have extra padding on the knees and a simple chest pocket with a zip.
However the foot part of the waders is a little bit weird as it’s a sock underneath the leg part of the wader which means water will go under the elastic around the ankles while wearing them in water and trapping water between the elastic and the top part of the sock which means cleaning and drying is a little bit difficult disappointing.
With a price point of 68 I think they are overpriced but the quality seems good just the footwear is a little weird.
These are a good pair of waders, these don’t have the boot, you have stocking socks, I don’t mind this, I can add my own boots.
The quality is not a fantastic or even great but they’re okay.
What lets them down is the build for the price isn’t great, there fairly cheaply put together, I do think you can get better.
The seems don’t look robust, straps are cheap clips.
Saying that, the fit is okay, and they are waterproof, so far, they are comfortable and haven’t made me sweat.
Good set, which do the job, but seem expensive for what you’re getting
Wanted one to allow me to clean lean out our garden pond. Didn’t want to spend a fortune as it would probably only be worn once a year. Really comfortable, good quality and fit for purpose.
Easy to get in and out of.
Liked the optional belt around the waist.
Very good buy.
Great addition to my boating wardrobe Ideal for launch and recovery.
Spot on for requirements, only issue is the sole of the boot is very thin and every pebble is felt, thick insoles made them too tight, going to try alternative insoles as good otherwise.
It was a shame I bought these as an Xmas present for my partner and the shoe size comes up a bit small so it didn’t fit him.
Good quality though. Just bare the size in mind
Also I found it hard to do returns – unless that’s me and my partner? But can’t seem to see contact seller or paperwork other than download an invoice.
Good for occasional use. Go for dearer ones if you need the on a regular basis. Better durability
Bought these as I’ve tried numerous other makes. Had them a few months and so far so good, I don’t think any sre 100% waterproof but these are as close as it gets.
Bought these for my husband for our anniversary. We have just built a large pond & there brilliant . The only thing my husband has said negative about these waders is you get a bit hot in them
Not a very good product. Save your money and get something else. I wish I had.
They re-sent another upgraded set of waders. They were better.
Only used once so far, helped launch a boat, was up to my waist in the sea,no leaks, will try them for river fishing next, confident they’ll be ok.
Size 10,normally get size 9,room for thick socks.
Good value but sizes suspect.
Size 10 tight on calves for 6 foot tall male!!
Small brambles torn them on the first time out…. will look elsewhere….so then nigh cat fishing get in touch and send me a new upgraded pair.. what a great company with great customer services.
Highly recommended… what can you lose with service like this…
Not using for fishing but for clearing heavily compacted weed growth from a disused canal, working in water depths up to 4ft. Waders are flexible enough to work in and so far fully waterproof, but recommend thermals as they’re quite thin.
These were bought for a young lad that I work with, purely just so he can go into water that would flood his wellies. He loves them and likes to have his picture taken in various bodies of water that he couldn’t have stood in before. He said they’re really comfortable, but it takes a bit to get used to the cold water (it is around 1-2 outside though) but he’s still wading around for an hour or 2.
Night Cat Fishing Waders.
Purchased for my dad these were on his Christmas list. He tells they are just what he was looking for in a pair of waders. I ordered one shoe size bigger than his normal size. They fit superb are are fully adjustable, the included belt is ideal for securing the waist.
I would certainly recommended this product.
Used these for the firat time today. Only 1 negative, the soles feel very thin, I can feel everything beneath my feet. Very good grip though. Everthing else what what i expected.
The waders are really well made and comfy, I bought them to walk through flooded areas such as lakes where my partner fishes. He wishes he had seen these waders before he bought his own, which were priced at 70, the Nightcat waders are a much better value plus you get a storage bag too!
Seems very good quality for the price. I’ve tried it on and its a good fit and is comfortable. Not tested in the water yet as I’m going to use it for pond maintenance in the Spring. It may also be used on very wet days or on very mucky jobs as I am a professional gardener. Seem to be a very good firm to deal with.
