Following the idea of Noctua’s redux line, the NH-U12S redux takes the proven concept of the original NH-U12S and reduces it to its essential core: a quiet, quality-made 120mm cooler with streamlined accessories that is highly compatible and easy to install.
Silent fan, solid build with good performance. Even though this is their discount fan it feels a major step up from equivalent priced cpu fans. Paired with a Ryzen 5 5700x with a 10% overlock and works flawlessly.
The NH-U12S Redux one of my favorite air coolers. Ghost silent, high performance, and looks amazing. Well worth the price, which is also well within reason. Excellent for 12th gen intel. Will keep the CPU temps well controlled while maintaining silent operation. This would probably be my highest recommended single-tower aircooler.

Avevo un 240 aio che ha iniziato a fare i capricci la pompa, ma che comunque in idle stava sui 30, dopo aver installato il redux sono sceso a 27, pi che soddisfatto
El precio es un tanto elevado pero vale la pena 100%. Era la primera vez que instalabia un disipador y ha sido pan comido. Muuy recomendado y la marca es de calidad se nota en el empaque y el producto en cuestion.
Smooth as glass – brilliant, very effective design. Speed is what it should have been for what we thought was a great build. Stock AMD cooler did not cut it.
Easy install. Good price. Works very well. I don’t overclock but I wanted an efficient cooler with a quiet fan and this is a great replacement for the Intel stock cooler.
I would idle at like 55-60 C in game i seen as high as 83 before this cooler, now I’ve reached 73 as the highest temp and currently I idle 45-50. Very satisfied with my purchase
Came with detailed instructions with foolproof installation onto my X570 mobo. I haven’t experienced or even come close to any overheating issues with my Ryzen 5600x and it’s quiet as can be. Came with Noctuas pre-applied thermal paste. It’s worth the money for the best CPU cooling fans on the market.
Ich habe den boxed Khler eines AMD ryzen 5 5600x (AM4 Sockel) ersetzt und bin berglcklich ber diesen CPU Khler. Vorher knapp 90 Grad unter Volllast, jetzt nur noch 67! Im Ruhemodus knapp 33 Grad.
Absolut leise auch unter Volllast, man hrt nix. Der Einbau war auch simple! Spitzen Produkt!
Assembling the cooler for the am4 platform felt a bit like building a Lego. You have to make sure to have the right pieces together, all the right way, but there are plenty instructional videos online that show the installation so in the end it was ok. I like the size and the looks. Fits perfectly into my Corsair 4000d for the Ryzen 5800x. Cpu runs around 60-70 degrees Celsius while gaming and in VR (I have the HP reverb G2 so it’s pretty demanding). I think the cooler is doing more than enough. I recommend it!

Dissipatore eccellente sia per temperature che per estetica (se non volete cose RGB fa la sua figura). Temperature ottime, l’ho installato su di un processore Intel I5 11600k per me il top!
Con Noctua non sbagliate lo consiglio!
I exclusively buy Noctua fans for my PC. Lots of other reviews will mention Noctua’s quality, and they’re absolutely right. This cooler is big, but it keeps your CPU cool and runs pretty quiet. Definitely worth the premium price!
Con un Ryzen 5700X nunca he pasado de los 60C. Anteriormente tena el Wraith Spire y me daba 80C en juegos. Es un poco ruidoso para mi gusto, pero vale la pena.
As usual, I bought a noctua product and it suits my purposes very well. Using this nh-u12s to cool an r5 3600. Maintains 40c pretty consistently while running my gpu about 80% and keeping under 68c on my gpu. I continue to be a little fanboy and have an old d14 I use on a different rig.

Before I had this cooler I was using the stock ryzen cooler that comes with the 5600x and this was a huge upgrade. Before installing this cooler I was averaging 80-85c while gaming. Once I installed this noctua cooler my temps didn’t go a bit over 65 celsius. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to avoid messing with water cooling.
My 12600K maxes out at 63C with stock paste. Instructions are in-depth while also easy to make sense of. The fan is quiet enough to be drowned out by any reasonable level of volume. Overall, I have no complaints.

Nunca he instalado un disipador mas all de los default de intel y el montaje es como un lego de nios, super sencillo con instrucciones claras y precisas y funcionamiento perfecto, poco ruido y me baj la temperatura del procesador de 100C a mnimas de 40, una locura lo recomiendo 100%.
Very high quality, keeps my 12700f running about 15 degrees cooler under gaming load than the stock cooler it came with and is noticeably quieter. You can hear it a bit when under higher load but no where near the Intel stock cooler. Would be a full 5/5 of there was a bit less noise but still, can’t complain at all at this price.
My PC sounded like an airplane taking off and this new cooling fan can’t even be heard! I have even seen performance increases after installing! Would have been a simple install if my case didn’t make me take out the whole motherboard to do it…
Replaced Wraith PRISM cooler that worked well…but was exceedingly noisy. The Noctua NH-U12S Redux cooler was easier to install, much quieter, and cooled as well if not a little better. Noctua is not the prettiest, but it is always the best all-around CPU and pc case cooler.

Mi serviva qualcosa per il socket lga1700 ed perfetto questo NH-U12S Redux.
Facilissimo da montare (ricordo ancora i tempi in cui bisognava essere in due a montare questi mostri), di conseguenza fare manutenzione non sar pi problema.
Il rumore non esiste, alcune volta non sono nemmeno sicuro se il mio pc acceso o spento… ma la pace che si prova grandiosa.
I recommend installing the extension kit, it keeps my i5-12600k under 40c while browsing or coding, and gaming under 60c, also i used thermal grizzly kryonaut extreme as thermal paste. Great cooler for the price!

Dieses ist mein erster Cpu Lfter von Noctua.
Ich habe ihn auf einem Z 690 Board mit einer 12600 K CPU verbaut.
Der Cpu Khler hat schon eine beachtliche Gre.
Der Einbau gelang aber ohne grosse Probleme, alles was bentigt wird ist auch dabei.
Sowohl fr die Fassungen von AMD oder auch Intel 1150/1155 und auch Sockel 1700.
Der Khler wird durch die Halterung sehr sicher gehalten.
Im Idle schafft er es meine Cpu bei 23 Grad zu halten, unter Last gehr er schon mal bis auf 55 Grad.
Dabei ist der Lfter aber kaum wahrnehmbar, die Lautstrke ist sehr gut.
Was aber beachtet werden sollte, ist die Bauhhe;
Ich habe ihn einem Pure Base Gehuse von Bequiet verbaut, und selbst da passt er so eben rein.

Noctua has always been known to be the easiest coolers to install, and that holds up with the U12S Redux. Kept my 10400 cool and was very quiet.

Ce ventirad est un peu moins silencieux que le BEQUIET DARK ROCK SLIM.
A great purchase! No regrets. Brought my temps down significantly. Installing it wasnt complicated but it did take about 15 minutes.

Lleg bien, a tiempo y sper fcil de instalar, cumple con lo que dice y funciona al cien! Pude rescatar mi computadora gracias a este disipador.

I love the level of noise it has, it is hardly noticeable. The mounting system was super simple. It cools my intel core i5 very well.

Great cooler. Dropped the Temps of my 5600x from 85c with stock cooler to 65 max.
I’d recommend it to anyone, comes with all the mounting hardware for Intel or AMD and the pre applied thermal compound works very well.
