Astoundingly, this arrived 2 days before the expected date which was not a problem for us. The shipper had this out and with us before the date it was due, so kudos to them. The package was quite heavy but still lighter than we had expected for a metal bench, and the packaging was just sufficient that although there was some minor damage to the packaging, there was no damage to individual pieces packaged inside. The little red tag led us easily to the instructions, such as they were, and assembly pieces.
We had this assembled and standing proud in a very short time, it was not difficult to assemble for us having spent a lifetime building flatpack furniture, and had our afternoon coffee break sitting on it by the summer jasmine (which though not out yet will be lovely when it is blooming).
That is when we found the one drawback – we really will need to get a cushion for this item as the metal was so hot where it had been sitting in the sun that it had to be cooled before we could use it! However that is not a great problem as such, merely an extra expense we had not bargained for.
