As I have never had or bought a telescope before I took my time browsing various scopes and reading the reviews. I settled on this one as all the reviews were excellent. And I concur what previous people have said about this product. It lightweight and very easy to assemble. And looking forward to many nights of star gazing
Bought for my 12yr old as a first telescope. The scope was really easy to assemble (we followed a video we found on YouTube) and adjust. It packed away easily into its very handy rucksack and was lightweight. The only downside was the phone holder which was a bit unsteady when in use but if you held it in pace we were able to get some super wildlife images. The tripod was also a bit flimsy but worked fine on a flat surface.
The telescope arrived well packed and all parts accounted for. Telescope is really light and plastic. Focus movement is ok but makes the object move about a lot. The eye pieces are good 9mm and 20mm. The phone holder for me wasn’t worth the plastic it’s made out of. As for the tripod, we’ll its no good for an adult it’s way to small/short. I am 6ft and at full height I had to get o my knees to see through the scope so ended up putting it on the outside table. Tripod is very flimsy and I would really recommend getting a better one. Overall its ok but not for me.
It’s a christmas present for my nephew who recentely started getting interested in everything space…. He loved his present, it was really easy to set up. Lightweight and easy to use, great for beginners.

I had this opened assembled and gazing at the moon within an hour.
I’m an absolute novice to this but am looking forward too many nights watching the skies.

We ordered this at an opportune time as Jupiter was close to Earth which meant that the gas giant and its four moons can be easily viewed. Using the telescope was a completely new experience, so it felt a bit tricky at first but we soon got there and have now progressed on to viewing specific stars. We are very pleased with this product.

Overall, as a first telescope this is a great buy! not the best tripod in the world but good enough for a beginner.

This is an ideal telescope for someone starting out star gazing as its perfectly adequate and affordable.
Easy to use, she has been using it for a week now, and hasn’t had any problems with it, and is able to see the sky with great detail.
As we never owned a telescope, we needed something that is easy to use and this delivers. For the price it works very well and got the whole family excided to look at the moon, stars and planets in our universe. It’s light and comes with a backpack and we are looking forward to take it out next time to one of our camping trips where the light pollution is lower than in the city.

This telescope was a great present for my son, he really loves it! It was easy to put together and its fun to use if you’re interested in star gazing! Brilliant buy.
Arrived promptly, in good packaging. Easy to put together. The tripod is a bit flimsy and makes the telescope liable to wobbling – especially if you aren’t on a solid floor, but it does at least make it light and easily movable. The phone attachment is ‘ok’ – takes some practice to perfectly align the attachment, lens and camera. Some of the finer controls for horizonal rotation and tilt arn’t great but they do the job. Overall, im realtively happy with it.

I bought this for my 7 year old. It was easy to assemble and use. The tripod is a quite light weight but the attachment screw is universal so I’m using a much sturdier tripod I already have. We’ve only used a couple of times but she loves it and for the price, it’s good value.

My 10 year old son received this telescope for his Christmas present. I must say it was one of his best gifts he loves it. Easy to set up and get using immediately, great focus on it too – he’s incredibly pleased with it.
Bought this for my girlfriend for her to get into astronomy. A cracking telescope. Fairly easy to use, but I will say that the tripod stand is not very stable and its not very easy to actually move the telescope to the target, its rather jittery and often find ourselves jumping past the target as its a stiff mechanism to move.

The only downside is the lack of rigidity of the legs which can make it difficult to adjust line of sight.
I did a lot of research before buying. My daughter wanted a white telescope so I was a little restricted in my options.
This is a decent telescope, and good value for money. Views of wildlife out of our window are clear. I have only had one chance to look at the moon so far but again the views are good.
The travel bag may be of use in the years to come. Tripod a little shaky but to be expected for the price really.

We have used this telescope as a starter as we have never had a telescope before, it’s very easy to use, easy to put together and very portable! The children have even been able to see the craters on the moon with it. A great starter telescope!
The telescope is easy to set up and has the options for excellent magnification. It does take some practice finding objects but is easier with big objects like the moon! Would definitely recommend, attached are photos we have managed to get of the moon so far!
Great little telescope for viewing the moon, wildlife etc. I only had this telescope for Christmas and unfortunately the lighting hasn’t been great since (typical). Fairly easy to set up and I have had fun capturing the moon with ease. I’m hoping with more practice and perhaps realignment of the view finder that I will get more decent photos. I’m pretty certain I will with this telescope. Very lightweight too
Am very pleased with it so far. It is easy to assemble and disassemble, instructions are easy to follow, and have had some great views as we are in a dark skies area, so the night sky is really something to look at – especially with a good telescope. It comes with a nice back so you can easily carry it to many locations.
Brought this for my husband. It is very good, comes with a backpack and easy to carry around when we go walking. The downside is the tripod feels very fragile, it is very light and so you cannot just leave it outside They do tell you it is light but I did not realise how light so that is not the companies fault. You may have to try and find one a bit more sturdy.

I recently bought the Telescope 70 AZ 400mm as a Christmas gift for my Father. This is an excellent telescope, which was easy to set up and use and is great value. It has a great magnification and very clear. Pleasure to use, especially with the phone attachment. Would recommend as a decent starter telescope.
Lovely lightweight piece of kit easy to assemble and use
This Telescope is lightweight and was fairly easy to assemble. The only thing we haven’t quite worked out yet is how to use the small finder Telescope. I love that it comes with a storage bag too as it keeps it all together. We have only used it in the day at the moment as we haven’t yet had a clear night but I’m excited to use it in the evening.

Bought this product for my partner for Christmas, was for definite going to purchase once read reviews. Having set it up following the simple manual, it’s very lightweight and the tripod extends to any desired height within its limits. The actual telescope and lenses are spectacular! Really looking forward to summer nights using this when there is little to no cloud cover and less pollution in the air as already the quality picture inside is amazing especially attaching the phone camera attachment to take pictures. Definitely worth it the investment!

Ease of assembly and setup, Unfortunately only had a slight glimpse of the moon as i live in south wales it hasn’t stopped raining, lol. I set it up by looking at the mountain and it was powerful enough to see people walking miles away

I liked the fact that it was well packaged so no dents in the gift box. Everything is inside the smart back-pack so as it’s a gift I’ve not unpacked it as yet. But it is lightweight 2.2 kgs and will be very easy to carry about by my grand daughter for holiday use too.

Smashing telescope for beginners. Our 5 year old daughter loves using it to look at the night sky and also trying to spot boats and wildlife when by the sea.

I found the telescope very easy to assemble and use. The only part which wasn’t so clear was how the phone connected to the telescope and should be used.
I was surprised at how light and portable the telescope was. This has created an added bonus of us being able to take it on trips away.

Great product with clear images, for 140 this is a really great telescope for beginners. The backpack makes it really easy to carry the telescope around and it is relatively easy to assemble.
Many reviews here complain about the flimsy tripod. It is a lightweight one but it does support the telescope. My feeling is that it is intentionally lightweight as the tripod collapses down and actually fits in the backpack too. I have a much sturdier one I am using for the telescope and will repurpose the one with the product for camera use, which it is perfect for. I did find the tripods built in spirit level useful though as on first use you need to align the viewfinder.
The telescope itself is a decent, thick and weighty bit of kit. Honestly, for the price I paid I am very pleased with it and hope to get years of use out of it for me and my daughter.
