The device works well works on human nails too, need to give your dog plenty of time to get used to it as they don’t like the vibrations through their claws, be patient you will save on doggy pedicures in the end.

Very good my dogs don’t mind me doing their nails with this item as the noise level on this is a gentle hmm. Only a slight vibration when doing nails. Well worth the money.

Seems really good. It is very quiet and the noise of the actual filing of the claws is much louder. Using it on the high speed setting seems to work best. My dog is already used to me doing it. Takes a little longer than clippers but is easier and safer.

My 2 dogs v quickly got used to me using the Pecute grinder and see the event as a relaxing and sleep time. 1 small dog 1 large, I still clip the claws with cutters to start but smooth and bring to length with the Pecute grinder. Unfortunately after 18 months it developed a fault but after 1 email to the service depth they sent a replacement FOC. Excellent customer service in this pandemic day and age.

Golden Review Award: 47 From Our UsersWir sind so zufrieden!

Absolutely fantastic buy for my dog. He has dark nails and we have given up cutting them as both we and our vet always makes him bleed. We have been using a manual nail file but that wore down very quickly and it took a lot of effort to take of even a small bit of the nail. Our dog doesn’t sit still for very long so doing all four paws has been neigh impossible.

After reading reviews but good and bad, I decided I would give it a try. What a find! Our dog is lying still and today actually fell asleep whilst I was doing his nails with this product! Yes it is a little noisy but he learly doesn’t mind. First time I used it I put some music on so it would cover the sound but today no music and he fell asleep. The on button is a bit hit and miss to turn it on but when it’s working it’s great.

I would definitely recommend this item, if you have tried everything else like we have, it may just be it.

My shar pei hates her nails being done. We found a happy medium with a electronic nail filers. But madam has now decided she doesn’t like it and will refuse me doing her nails. Needles to say they where getting in a sorry state. This is very powerful ( went though her nails easily) and very quiet. I brought her some new treats to distract her and have happily done her paws. Will finish off in a couple more days but so far so good!
    What a relief ! y

It’s a cracking bit of kit. Easy to charge and use and the only reason I may have unfairly given it four stars than five is simply because the lad we got it for is too scared of it to let us use it. I may come back in the future to change the rating. However our neighbour has borrowed it to do his parrots nails and the parrot doesn’t mind.

It is better useing the electric file, than clippers for your dogs nails. On the advert for file it says they are quiet that won’t upset your dog, and the dog stays still while you file the nails! Alas our dog does not like it very much, still a bit of a job doing his nails! All depends on your dog!!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersMy dog tolerates this one the best, it’s relatively quiet and effective with it permanent metal grinding wheel. The only issue i have is it take a bit more work to grind down the claws as it’s not as powerful as the other, its a trade off for sound and vibration. We did try a similar unit that was more powerful and my fussy border collie was not down with it. kept this one, returned the othe

Finally! A product that is exactly what I need. I have not reviewed many purchases (sorry sellers) but I am so happy with this I just have to share. So I have an 8 year old Husky (about 28 kgs) And a 5 year old Borador (about 25 kgs). Big dogs and neither of them have ever been settled when getting their nails groomed. I have spent a small fortune on groomers but my dogs started to become so stressed that I bought clippers and another brand of nail grinder and started doing them myself a few years back. The clippers worked the best over the years but as my Borador has black nails, I am always overly careful to the point where I’m finished and the nails still look too long but I’m afraid to go further as I cannot see the quick. Previous nail grinders I bought .. one was insanely loud that my dogs would not let near them. That went straight in the bin. Last year my second try at a grinder, the product felt flimsy as did the head attachment and I tried it 2 times but I just did not feel safe using it. This Pecute grinder is quieter than my electric toothbrush by far and it does not have the high pitched whine the previous ones had. My Husky has just sat for 10 minutes and let me have a go at all 20 claws! She was very relaxed and I felt so safe using this product. Her claws are quite long and so this process will have to be repeated in a day or so (it doesn’t grind too much at a time which suits me as I felt safe using it slowly) but with it being so stress free for all of us, that’s fine! My Borador was a little more nervous of the vibration. 5 Minutes of switching it on and running the flat side of the product down his legs to his paws and he relaxed! I then was able to complete all his paws in 10 minutes (they weren’t as long to start with, but its still a big win for me!)

I spent hours looking at other reviews, products and videos on youtube before making this purchase and I got it right. The fact I can use this, not get my hand chewed and not have my dogs jumping at every ‘snip’ I am just so happy, in fact I’m shocked! This is going to make such a difference to me. It used to be a 2 hour wrestling match and a packet of cold meat for each dog to get their nails trimmed. Today it was a few minutes per paw and one biscuit afterwards. I wish I had taken a video to show all this! I’m so happy.

Note – I did not use the attachment, I just used the bare rounded head. It worked perfectly and I felt in complete control.

Golden Review Award: 61 From Our UsersGot this grinder to replace a different grinder I bought which was too noisy & caused too much vibration so the dog was not calm & happy to have it used on his claws. He’s a 16 yr old greyhound & has very thick tough claws. Claw clippers are not great for him as I needed to apply a lot of pressure to cut through his claws & they didn’t seem to cut cleanly – his claws tended to kind of shatter so left sharp edges that needed filing after clipping which he wasn’t very comfortable with. They also made me a bit reluctant to use in case they shattered vertically & damaged the quick.
I acclimatised him with this grinder by letting him sniff it etc & turning it on to see if the noise unsettled him. Very impressed with how quietly the grinder rotates & they vibrate very little too. Worked up to trying to actually do some grinding & absolutely delighted. He didn’t bat an eyelid, in fact he just lay there. Not once did he pull his paws away. So I’ve been using them to gradually shorten his claws which had got too long as he was so put off by clippers & the first grinder that he found my attempts too stressful. Thought I’d try one more product but had almost resigned myself to having to take him to the vets to have them done under anaesthesia (a risk at his age but the claws were growing longer and tougher making walking on the stone tiles a bit slippy for him).
This grinder is perfect I’m delighted.

Golden Review Award: 54 From Our UsersI have two medium size dogs both of which HATE having their thick black nails clipped. Hence they have ‘talons’ which grow long and sharp. I have tried dogs nail grinders before but they never have any real power and slow down almost to a stop when you try to file nails with them. This little beauty is fantastic! Good solid build and weight. Easy to charge with micro usb cable (you need a plug or pc to charge it from). Twin speed really zaps those nails, though I think the vibration on the nail tickles my dogs who pull away a little bit, but for the first time ever, I gave able to file down ALL of both dogs nails. I only do a few seconds on each nail at a time but with regular daily use they should all be down to a much better length in no time. Far cheaper and less stressful than my dogs being pinned down at vets while 2 nurses try to cut with nail clippers! Wish I’d found this amazing tool years ago!

Golden Review Award: 54 From Our UsersIch habe zwei groe Hunde.

Golden Review Award: 54 From Our UsersI have a small Pecute nail grinder which does my Mini Poodles nails very well but was not very effective on my large Samoyed (took forever). This larger Pecute with more powerful motor makes lighter work of his nails. The motor is quiet and he doesn’t mind it at all. He even takes a nap while I am doing them, whereas he hated the nail clippers and only just tolerated them with the help of treats. I recommend this to anyone having problems with clipping their dogs nails.

Works really well and does not make the dog alarmed. However even on high power you need patience (so does the dog) because although it does grind the nail down, it does slow quite slowly. This is good and bad. Good in that it does not suddenly grind the nail away to the quick and hurt the dog. Bad because it means you need to do it over many days as dogs get bored with you messing around with their feet!

plenty of treats to get the dog used to the very quiet but unusual noise, now we can trim our dogs nails even while she is sleeping and she barely even notices.

With no groomers available now, and drew claw torn. i thought i would try a diy on whippets nails. She hates nails being clipped at groomers and just retracts paws.
Reading reviews at how quiet it is i had visions of her sleeping through the procedure on the couch.
Well its gentle and isnt loud but the first time she had to be held by another person as i sat in front. I will admit it is v easy to use, teenage daughter tried it 2nd time on the dog. But its a gentle buzzing drill like sound. Got the nails done though without much fuss and will do more regularly to keep length down.

Upon managing to corner my furry idiot and get one of her paws I managed to do half of a claw before she wriggled out and yeeted it out of there faster than you could say ‘BATH TIME’. Fun ensued as we played cat and mouse for the best part of an hour, me managing to get a tiny bit of each claw done before she got out and scampered off again.

Turns out my dog has very ticklish paws and doesn’t take to a vibrating stone against her claws. Who’d have thought.

The product arrived quickly (considering the pandemic) and it charged a lot faster than it said it would for first use. Easy to assemble and figure out (although it got a few funny looks from the mother in law who thought it was a new dildo)
Would highly recommend to anyone brave enough to try.

I have a very large dog with nails of steel. It takes a little time to grind them down but the battery held out. I can imagine any other size dog from a Labrador downwards would find this a breeze. It’s very hard to hold a huge dog down to de nails and this made her fall asleep. So very happy

What a brilliant dog nail grinder, It is small (not to small) in size to easily fit into your hand, It is very quiet and very well made, it comes with the charging wire, I was doubt full that the heads would work properly as they looked a bit on the small size but I was totally wrong they work brilliantly. I have a large Labrador and I used it on all of her nails, The head took the nails down very quickly, with it being so quiet she just lay there and let me do it. I would definitely recommend this product.

One of my dogs hates having nails trimmed with clippers, this is easy to use and gets the job done.
With black dogs it is difficult with clippers to see where the quick is, but this is a more gradual approach to nail trimming and the dogs took to it quickly without fuss or panic

I bought this after such great reviews, I have a very scared Toy Yorkshire Terrier, wouldn’t let anyone near her to clip her nails, I did as some suggested got her use the the noise and vibration by having the cap on and over a number of days ran this over her body and then over her PAWS for a few days, then took the cap off and did the same, I then laid her on her back on my lap and she was quite happy for me to file her nails

Golden Review Award: 98 From Our UsersIch habe den Krallenschleifer seit gestern, also keine Langzeiterfahrung ber die Haltbarkeit des Schleifkopfes.

I always struggled to cut my dog’s nails because he wouldn’t stay still and tried different gadgets. I must say he now loves having his nails done. It’s so easy to use and neither of us gets stressed any more. Before I used to worry about making his nails bleed if I cut them too short but using this file is wonderful and shapes the nails really well. And to top it off the charge lasts ages.

Golden Review Award: 73 From Our UsersDies ist unser dritter Krallenschleifer.

Golden Review Award: 53 From Our UsersSince a pup, my german shepherd hated having her claws clipped! Even with a file afterwards her claws would be sharp when she jumped up at people. She would constantly move her paws and would take forever to do.
I saw this product and thought why not, well what can I say it is a game changer! I should of got this alot sooner! My pup is over a year now and could of stopped what I thought was a chore.
The noise level is very quite, when I used them should of seen all the dust coming off them! She had a few split claws and now gone! And guess what. . No more bloody sharp claws! She still moved her paw couple of times (mainly back legs) but not in comparison with the clippers!!
Rechargeable and easy to use, great price too!
    I totally recommend this produc

I didn’t hold out much hope of these being much use if I’m honest, having paid a lot more for Wahl ones that are rubbish.
How wrong I was and how happy to be pleasantly surprised by how good these are. They’re everything and more compared to the Wahl ones, in fact there’s no compartment.
These are small and compact, fitting into your hand comfortably. There’s little or no vibration even when filing your pets nails, they’re also quiet, I would say noise level comparable to an electric toothbrush. The major benefit for me is that I’m now able to file both my dogs nails without loads of drama. My eldest absolutely hates his legs or feet being touched in anyway and can tuck all 4 legs under if he see’s nail clippers. It’s still not easy but I have actually got them all done and all done safely, with a wriggling dog I’m always terrified of cutting too short and making him bleed, which is also impossible with these nail grinders.
Sorry I do run on but forgot to say they’re rechargeable with a normal micro charger(included) so can be used carelessly and they come with 2 grinding heads that are easy to change.
I’m over the moon with my purchase as are both my bichon frise boys and would recommend without hesitatio

    Love these!!

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersRecently I’ve took to walking my dogs more on the grass as opposed to the concrete as the weather is getting warmer. This is great but at the same time the grass doesn’t keep your dogs claws short as there is nothing to wear them down. So I bought this nail grinder to test out and see how and if they work. It comes delivered through Amazon Prime so I got next day delivery.

It comes with two different grinders and is nicely packaged. Simple to use it has two different speeds so you can gradually build up to higher speed with more timid dogs. Luckily I have husky’s and they are indifferent to the grinder. It is so simple to use you simply put the grinder against the dogs claw and it will work away excess claw. You can see the shavings dust as you are working on the claws.

My dogs didn’t move too much and it really did take away excess without any fuss. It is easy to hold so there isn’t any danger of accidents and it is relatively quiet too.

Based on price, appearance and quality I would definitely buy this again. I’ve seen a few of these and this one is great in comparison. It looks as modern as a claw grinder can I suppose it is a great price and will last. Really great produc

    Easy to use 😁

My dog does not like her nails being clipped so I thought I’d try a nail grinder.
I’ve heard of the Pecute brand through donations they have kindly made to my local dog rescue, Appledown Rescue and Rehoming Kennels, and my dog is not small, so I thought I’d give the Pecute Large Pet Nail Grinder a go.
The nail grinder looks sturdy, is very quiet and when tested on myself does the job very well.
Time will tell what the dog thinks……….. 🙂

Golden Review Award: 51 From Our UsersI bought one of these because one of my dog is very nervous with the nail cutters due to people cutting her nails too short in the past with nail cutters… this item is really handy to have its lightweight it comes with two heads so you have a spare one really easy to use switch it on it’s quite quiet which is good so doesn’t scare the dog. Place the dog’s nails into the little hole at the top and there is a little sanding bit in there which sands the nails down to whatever size you want. I’m impressed with how quickly it gets the nails down and my dog seems to be a lot better using this. Very happy with i
