We have a 4 month old Aussie that is crate trained. We have a metal crate at home which is heavy and bulky and is not portable. We wanted a crate that our dog could feel secure, but easy for us to travel. This crate met all of our requirements: light weight, easy to assemble and travel with. Like any crate, you need to train your dog to like the crate. I would not recommend this crate if you are planning to leave your dog unattended for long periods of time. It is made of lightweight material that any dog could chew or claw its way out.

I like how easy these are to setup so that was a plus. The material seems a bit thin for a 100lb Doberman but the size was right. The pad at the bottom was cheap and would have been eaten by my dog so I put it inside a zipper bed cover I had for him and then put that in the crate; now I can unzip and wash the cover. I wish these had some places on the outside to tied this down in the rear of the SUV as this can slide around even though it has small rubber feet on the bottom. The material could be thicker and more durable but so far so good. It makes zero squeaking sounds while driving unlike a metal or plastic crate would. It is a bit shorter than most crates this size which is a big plus for putting in the back of an SUV as it does not block the rear view in my Honda Pilot. Measure your trunk is my advice. I like how breathable this is as it lets air flow from all sides pretty much. My do stretches out and takes a nap easily in this. When he stands up I am crossing my fingers he doesn’t rip the material but so far so good. If your dog chews through things then forget about this as this can be chewed through in seconds and doesn’t require Houdini.

We purchased a medium for our 23kg English Bulldog, she knew it was for her right away. It’s easy to set up and collapse. It’s sturdy, so well made. It’s a beautiful gray fabric, with a pale blue piping, honestly prettiest crate we have ever had, a nice crate makes all the difference in the house, as it becomes another piece of furniture. I like that there are three zippered mesh areas, lots of ventilation and the mat that comes with it is a perfectly fitted soft furry mat. She mostly sleeps in it open, and is mature, so, not a chewer.

The zips seem strong so hopefully won’t break like the ones on the last crate I had did.
i will use it for my dog to travel in the car and also for sleeping in when on holiday.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI wish there were straps on the crate so I could fasten it somewhere inside my car to make it safer in case of an accident.

I bought it initially to be a cage for my puppy but he just spent his time chewing on it. I moved it to the boot of my Mazda and I now use it for travel. He fits in perfectly (14 week Shih Tzu). There’s lots of options of openings so we currently use the top as he’s light but as he gets bigger will try and get him to the front opening. He’s taken to it well. Cushion inside is a nice touch as it’s comfy
