Monitors and key board/mouse switch at the push of a button between my home and work machine.
I’ve just go to come up with a way to hide the spagetti that is my cabling.
It’s a lot smaller than I expected which is excellent news for my cramped desk space.

Overall this is a solid unit that performs as I hoped. The unit itself is neatly presented and the cables supplied were useful.

I do have an issue in that neither of the ‘hotkey’ options work, which limits me to pressing the button on the KVM switch itself to switch between PC’s. From the investigations I have done, this appears to be an issue with the type of keyboard I am using rather than this unit. Apparently gaming keyboards present themselves as a USB HUB to the BIOS / UEFI rather than a USB Keyboard. This is to remove the limitation in simultaneous keypresses inherent in USB Keyboards. Unfortunately this means that when you enter the hotkey codes, they are not recognised by this unit as having come from a keyboard. This issue seems to be the same for ALL other units I could have tried as an alternative, and is not an inherent fault to this unit.

I have the switch on the desk within reach, it’s not the end of the world, but is a shame to lose the hotkey function. I don’t even play games much, but just try getting hold of a decent mechanical cherry blue keyboard for typists only…

If you have a bog standard:

    – Mouse
    – Keyboard
    – 2xhdmi ports on each pc:

This product is good and does (most) of what it says on the tin. (The double scroll lock thing has never worked for me)

I have a razer deathadder mouse which constantly causes issues, due to key bindings.

The quality is nice and latency low.
