Beautiful sounding addition to a kit. Most useful as a brighter attack but is also great as a rhythm. A nice ping as well
I knew what I was ordering with this cymbal in order to complete a youth drum set. It arrived as described and quickly.
Pretty decent crash given the price range. Quick decay, also cuts through sonically.
So far after two weeks of playing, it’s ok . A bit too tinny in sound but does offer a long sustain. This 16 inch rock crash compliments the Sabian B8X cymbal pack I recently purchased. I have been comparing these beginner cymbals against the Meinl HSCs . Both have pros and cons in sound. IMO, the 16 inch Meinl is a bit better in the “crash” sound produced , at least to my ear. But the Sabians seem to better sounding in the other matched cymbal sizes. Overall, both the Sabians and Meinls are an upgrade from stock cheap cymbals that came with my Gammon drum kit. I would rate the Sabians a little higher except for this 16 inch crash.
I’m a new drummer and my playing has improved since using this cymbal this cymbal.
For the price, it sounds great and works well for a practice se
It’s very high pitched and doesn’t match as well with the rest of my B8 set, but when played in combo with any other cymbal it adds a great depth.
I wanted an 18″ crash for practice to preserve my performance cymbals. I also got the 16″ version of this cymbal. It’s the right price and sounds good enough. Would recommend for beginners or practice.
I was looking for a cheap cymbal to use for practice so I could preserve my performance cymbals as much as possible. This was the right price and sounds good enough for practice. Would recommend for beginners as well.
This cymbal is a great add to my kit and a great price too!
Love it sound out of this world SABIAN the best cymbal out they thank Sabian.
This crash cymbal doesn’t sound too radically different from a traditional crash, but it’s well made, as is pretty much all Sabian brass, and it’s tone is a little grittier than than your basic crash cymbal, a bit dirtier and more abrasive. On top of all that jazz, the fact it only costs 75$ (back in 2018 when I bought mine lol) makes it a good deal financially if you’re looking to change/upgrade your setup on a budget.
Far as Amazon and the seller go, the packaging was satisfactory and it arrived a few days ahead of their estimated DOD. All in all, a pleasure doing bidnazz.
Hope the review is helpful. Peace
Great cymbal with crisp and quick sustain, exactly what I needed. Looks great and hopefully will endure for a long time. I use all Sabian and have never been disappointed.
This cymbal is nice. The color is very brassy looking and totally different than usual cymbals. It has a nice tone although I thought the sustain was a little long for a Thin Crash.
I was looking for a crash cymbal that had a lighter sound, and not need to be hit quite as hard, for small venues. I’m using this with my Gretsch Catalina Club Street kit, and this worked out great for that.
Tiene un sonido muy brilloso, solo que est algo pesado, se necesitan baquetas 2B para sacarle todo su jugo. Recomendable
been using sabian cymbals for the past few years. never fail to produce the type of sound in metal music. will use sabian as long as its still great. durability is long serving too.
This is a great budget cymbal! It has a great, solid sound. It is perfect for someone that wants a brighter, quick sound. Would highly recommend!!!
My house is filled with rhythm! (What have I done!?)
Beautiful sound, crisp, clean, quick attack, fast decay. If you’re a drummer you’ll know exactly what I mean. I really like Sabian cymbals. I will be buying more in the future. It compliments my Z crash
