As for the actual game, it’s a bit early for me to tell and there’s plenty of expert videogame reviewers who did a better job reviewing it, so this is a comment about the physical version/product.
To be correct, this is the Amazon UK exclusive edition, which looks like the Day One edition in a cardboard box with a physical scarf.
The cardboard box arrived a bit squashed.. Amazon should really be more careful when packing this sort of items – it happens rather often. No shrink wrap, just two round labels to keep it closed.
The scarf is, as one would imagine, a tube made of cheap and thin fabric.
That’s all to it .. the actual game case is what you see in the photos.
In the review I’m writing I’m going to start with all the good stuff, the story is really good and lots of twists a turns but was a little short which is a shame because if it was longer it would of been a perfectly enjoyable game, I think only things I didn’t like so much was kev and eli’s base costumes as they are both ment to be gangsters but have really terrible costumes but they can be changed later on in the game for better options which is a good option to have, if your wondering if nina’s costume can be changed I can confirm that it certainly can aswell, But I do like her original costume but this is a nice touch for saints row as you couldn’t change costumes of npc characters in previous games.
I love the customisation options and so many many customisation for your characters which is always a bonus as there are quite a few games now with set characters that you have to play as without customisation, so it is good to have customisation options in huge variety, loads of cars and weapons to choose from and I’m really impressed with graphical setting options as you can have the Ray traced lighting in 2k which is great up to 4k setting, it is a cool option for graphical settings and it looks really nice in daytime with the sun shining and reflections and shadows and at night with all the neon lights looking realistic.
There is a decent set of missions and side missions to play but main story is a little short but also some little easter eggs in the game also for house items that can be displayed in your pad when you unlock the church base but it would of been nice to of had house customisation so you could customise it more and also so you could get more pads around the city. Dunno what people mean about repetitive gameplay, I haven’t experienced anything repetitive so far in my playthrough so don’t know why people are saying its repetitive but hey I guess we all have our own opinions, I could list many games which have hugely repetitive gameplay In comparison so it’s a matter of opinion and that’s my opinion on the matter, the only things I can think of which let’s the game down is there are some minor bugs which can cause issues sometimes like when changing clothing occasionally in the menu you will occasionally get stuck and have to exit the game and restart it completely and also another bug I’ve encountered is that sometimes on the xbox version it can exit the game completely by itself. other then that I love this game and will recommend it to people who like the sandbox or open world games like Mafia and Grand theft auto V. It’s a pretty solid game on the whole and has alot of good points, more then bad and Very fun to play, Really fun and imaginative compared to some of the most recent games I’ve played. I would say make your own judgement on playing this game and give it a chance don’t listen to the bad reviews and
Ignore the haters saying its to woke a game and bad gameplay as they only say it because their beloved Johnny Gat didn’t make an appearance which is a pathetic thing to rate a game on really, What is woke about killing people in gang warfare or picking up drug drops that have been left around the city or smuggling things and adult content in general with violence I ask? I don’t get how it’s woke? People who have written these kind of reviews are full of it, In my opinion and in all honesty alot of fans agree Saints row really needed a complete reboot after the awful Agents of mayhem. It was totally needed to be renewing the greatness of what the saints row games once we’re and lost that sparkle and magic because of two of the earlier games being a complete deviation from what was good (SR4 a AOM.) I recommend this game to the people who enjoy these kinds of games. I certainly did enjoy this game and can’t wait for Dlc to extend story and add extra content.
So I like games like GTA, or Fallout and COD the shooter style games, so I bought this as non are due out for some time apart from COD. I have enjoyed playing through this, the different weapons, settings and playing coop with my son, who loved the Idols face mask that came with his.
Its got a decent length to it and the graphics are really good, I have not encountered any bugs and have been progressing through the storyline which has taken two weeks at a few hours each day.
The quests can be a little bit repetitive and I wish there was more selection of weapons, as pretty much early on you can have them all, then as you progress and level up there really isn’t a lot more to get for weapons. The Church feels like it could have had a lot more in terms of personalisation options, but that may come with DLCs.
Overall I am a fan and its worth buying for your game library without doub
The story has some bad moments writing in parts of the story but it’s still sort of feels like saints row dispute it’s hateful reviews it’s not really a bad game
The game has great graphics on a Series X. The gameplay is fun but the over the top antics have been toned down a bit. 2 player multiplayer is a nice touch

It’s not as bad as people are saying, there’s some classic Saints moments. Overall it’s fun and entertaining, still feels like Saints Row
Not the most amazing game in the world, but a decently fun open world adventure to while away time with.
Definitely recommend

If you like a silly GTA game this is definitely it! I loved playing the game. Just need to do the side missions.
