This does come with all the plumbing and filter required to install the water to the fridge! The water pipe I would say is around 2-3m long but was plenty enough for me. You do need tools to tighten the fittings. A spare 3/4 appliance outlet is required. Before I connected the pipe to the fridge I connected the filter and flushed it through before attaching to the fridge then flushed it again. Ice machine is great so far takes 12 hours to dispense a decent level of ice. This fridge is such good quality and looks good.

Had this Fridge for over 5 months so can now report back the pros and cons, here goes:
Pros:
Very quiet running.
Compared to our 10 year old Samsung there is much more usable interior space. The internal cooling vent system is more slimline and better thought out, leaving lots more space.
Good interior lights.
Exterior finish wipes clean easily.
Fridge and freezer cools food/drink very quickly. This was mentioned in the Which Best-Buy report.
Much more slimline ice-maker system takes up far less freezer space than our last fridge.
Came with a 5 year manufacturer’s warranty.
Cons:
I would prefer the water & ice dispenser to default back to water after use. People keep leaving it on crushed ice and I get showered in it when not paying attention and expect water to come out.
Can be fiddly to get the doors aligned correctly after installation.

We’ve had a trusty Samsung American fridge freezer for years, and as part of a new kitchen wanted one with a mains water supply and ice maker. Absolutely love it and can’t fault it as it’s a newer better version of what we have. The mains water over topping up all the time, is far better and the ice and crushed ive is superb – but for some reason I struggle opening the ice container (probably me).
The only let down for me was getting it through standard doors. Unlike the older one where I could remove the doors quite easily – this design meant removing the actual brackets for the doors, and the freezer has the plumbing pipes run through the bottom one. As an electrician, obviously I could deal with it but it was time consuming and worrying with a new appliance. Mines in a utility room, so tipping it to remount the brackets was a challenge – trust me. I also had to remove 2 internal doors to the kitchen and utility..to get it in there. I can’t be the only one with this challenge as it’s not as if I have a small or off house.
One thing I did notice is that the inline filter which is on a push fit mini flexible pipe (probably around 6mm and standard) – it leaked when water pressure was turned off, but was fine inder pressure. As an electrician who can also plumb – the pipes were cut perfectly so it wasn’t to do with that. It applies to any fridge with an inline filter of that type, where my worry would be that it could do it again if the water went off. The push fit is good, but maybe this one is just dodgy as it shouldn’t leak just because it’s not under pressure.
Really happy though. Loving the ice.
It’s in, and great as I say. Can’t fault it’s functions or performance to date – and it’s quiet IMO.
We purchased this fridge freezer after checking the reviews on “Which”. This was at the top of our price range and did all the things we wanted. The two young men who delivered the fridge freezer were outstanding and so helpful. We already had a water supply and it was very easy to attach. There are things to scan via your mobile which took us to “youtube” videos to advise us how to do this correctly.
We had a few minor blimps
1) It is very big and although I considered the front door size, it could not go any further without total unpacking, which the two young men helped us do.
2) The seal on the freezer was correctly fitted, so the freezer frosted up when we first turned it on. When we worked out why this was happening and ensured the seal was attached correctly, which was easy to do, it worked perfectly.
Little to say. A good Americasn style fridge freezer. Doors have a nice feel. Ice and water on demand are great. Lights in both sides are good etc. Looks good
No wonder this is a Which best buy – it’s fantastic. Very spacious and extremely quiet. I haven’t had it plumbed in yet but it’s working fine otherwise. I replaced my old one because of the noise and this is quiet as ever. Takes a couple of days to settle but then it’s quiet almost always. The packaging is a little annoying because of the polystyrene below the fridge freezer – need 2 people to move it off it. It’s on castors so easy enough to roll into place once it’s in the house.
