For use in small pond, works well, needs a clean once in awhile. I don’t use spray head, as loses too much water, just let it bubble out from the fixed pipe on surface disk.
I have a small raised lily pond about 8′ x 4′ and I wanted something just to keep the water moving, I purchased 3 of these thinking that they probably wouldn’t be that good. I was pleasantly surprised on how efficient they are. I fitted each one with just the single jet and when the sun is out it fires a jet of water about 12 to 15 inches high. I’m not sure how efficient they would be with the little multi-head, I think that could easily get blocked but the single jet is brilliant. So there are excellent value for money even if they only last a couple of seasons. They also come with little rigid plastic tubes that clip on the side that prevent them from getting too near other objects
Use your imagination in how your going to display it. Ive tried endless ones and decided on this simplest thing to do, on a plant pot tray.
Bit of a vocal point for visitors. A bargain!!!
This little fountain works well in our garden pond keeps the water moving on even dull days but needs good sun for the best effect. The smaller spray nozzles don’t work very well and I don’t know how robust it will be. I think I will remove it before winter. Very easy to put together and just put it in the pond.

Didn’t use the prongs instead used fishing line and a fishing weight to tether it.

Easy to put together, choice of nozzles and everything you’d expect from a much more expensive product. The jet reaches maybe 1ft currently and is sporadic but since we’ve had little to no sun since I installed it yesterday, I’m very impressed.

Great item for the garden that intrigues the children. The range of spray heads don’t really make much difference to the type of spray but do add a bit of fun to experiment with. It needs a clear view of the sun to work and any shadow falling on it reduces its ability to work.
I’ve had this in a relatively small pot and the water level quickly reduces as the fountain sprays water outside of the pot. Once it gets down too low, there’s no water for the fountain to work so I find I’m topping it up a couple of times a day.
Ideally it needs a 40cm wide pot or pond and the four slip-on extenders keep it away from the edge so you have a self sustaining fountain operating throughout the day.

I bought this for my little girl to play with in the garden. It’s a perfect size to sit in her large tray so she can paddle around it. Great value for money and it arrived quickly.
I tried it before I’d slotted in one of the little top nozzles and didn’t rate it at all but when I did It made all the difference and it changed from a little dribble to a fountain and the water came gushing out!
Excellent product, have bought a few other brands for my bird bath, but this one beats the rest, only needs daylight and goes all day
Nice and easy to put together, lots of different nozzles for different fountains. Only works in sunlight so bare this in mind when placing your water feature. Really happy with my purchase
I’ve bought three of these fountains now. They are easy to put together and if the sun is out they work almost instantly. I’ve put ours in the pond and they look great. There are lots of different attachments, so you have plenty of choice. I remove mine for the winter and clean and they’ve always worked as good as new when put back in the pond. Highly recommend.

First things to notice are a modest change/upgrade of design that enables the spray even in relatively low daylight and (so far) no problems clogging the power unit with plant matter… The resident goldfish seem unaffected while passing cats seems a little bemused about the occasional unexpected shower on the nose… Paws and tails crossed this should see the pond and its community of critters well watered over the summer and beyond
(-also potentially a bit of fun in a dish for small children on hot days!).

Does what it says on the tin & I love it! As other reviews mention, it does stop working as soon as there’s shade – even a bit of cloud, so does need a nice sunny spot to work fully. Really can’t complain for the price!
I bought this as mum has no cables to the front. Oh my, I popped it into my firepit (bbq) placed some white pebbles under it, and had to order more for the family!
We adore our new water feature. It’s for peanuts too! The birds, the kids, safe as houses. Cannot rate this high enough.
These are great. I’m away to order a third one for my bird bath. The two I bought in 2021 are still going strong. Good for small or larger water features. The different nozzles are useful, depending upon your personal choice, but also for the size of water feature, to minimise water loss. The rods allow the fountain to remain central and can be trimmed if you wish. It works at full blast in direct sunlight but still works well when it’s cloudy. Easy to set up and clean, bargain price, just perfect.
It’s definitely needs full sun on all of the solar pad to work, even if an inch of it gets shaded it stops working. But when the sun is directly on it, the fountain works great. The different settings are nice to pick from and very easy to change. The set up was just a matter of minutes. Nice to listen to the water in the garden and not bad for 10.
Used it to create a small container pond, nice sound of water falling which you can hear from inside the house too. Works just as it says in direct sunlight in few seconds. Easy to set up, just follow instructions.
I put the solar fountain in the bird bath which I also had off amazon the different nozzles work well.its lovely to watch the water coming out.
Straight out of the box this thing was ready to go. I put it in my pond and it worked well in full sun. And still has some power on overcast days.
Just the right size for my small pond. The anti collision rods are a great idea, they keep the fountain away from the sides of the pond.
A superb little solar fountain and what a brilliant idea the included collision tubes are, as they keep the fountain central in a small tub. Considering the fountain is only 1W I am surprised at how effectively it works. I have had others, previously, but this is the best one

Really good value. Arrived next day, assembled in minutes, as soon as it was in my nature pond it started to produce a lovely high water fountain. Much better than the one I purchased on line last year. Would highly recommend
Couldn’t find pump for larger feature so bought this as a stand in. Smaller than expected but makes a pleasant sound and pretty spray. Grandson enjoyed it. Pity so small.
Bought for my little pond, think it’s smaller than some others which is what I wanted. Added the nozzle (just pushed it on) that would give the spray I wanted and took it outside. It is spraying away even without much sun, very happy.
ight size for small pond but has plastic rods added for balance-looks like a sputnik! Pump started working immediately but dull day now so waiting for more sun to increase power.
Only been a couple of days of sun since I received it but seemed to work fine.
I use it in our water play. The kids love it. Only problem is it does need constant sunshine, when moved to the shade it has inconsistent water flow or none at all (hence solar panelled) great for use I. The summer though!!

Very disappointing initially. Bought it to go in our little pond. Was piddly little spray when first the kept stopping or just bubbling, pretty much like a lot of the videos in other reviews but gave it the benefit of doubt hoping that it just needed to build up a bit of power but it was like this for the rest of the day in full sun.
This morning was the same until mid-morning then it kicked in… see video.
Rather pleased with it now, especially for the price.
Had to use the legs to keep it from the edge. The water evaporates really quickly with the fountain on. Not always consistent in spray but still nice to see. Bird bath needs topped up every day.
We have bought it for our Tuff tray for water play, my boys really enjoy playing with it splashing.
It’s very sensitive to light and only works when directly in the sun, when they are playing and cast a little Shade, it stops working straight away and needs 10-15 seconds to get going again, once the child moves out of the way.

Good for price, only on full when the sun is out so not sure it’ll be on much! But it does the job for a little water feature without having to use cables etc
5* perfect for my pond in a pot. I was sceptical at first because it arrived on a rainy day and had hardly any power just intermittent. This was due to cloud. It needs FULL SUN on the whole panel as I’ve shown in the video. Looks great easy put together and 6 different modes
A simple little disc that makes a small fountain when the sun shines. It is what you pay for – fun and good value.
We only have a courtyard garden with no room for a water feature, so bought a water planter some time ago, I came across these solar pumps and thought it would be good to try one. At the price, I wasn’t expecting too much and was pleasantly surprised. It doesn’t store energy, so only works when there is some sun on it, but when it is going, it is really good.
I was expecting this solar fountain to be larger. Its OK for a bird bath or mini pond but would get lost in anything larger. The water spray is only activated spasmodically but that may be down to whatever attachment used. Instructions typically these days just diagrams! It was fairly easy to assemble but the instructions are not written so any issues not addressed. I have used this in a smallish water feature and would maybe order another for a bird bath or mini pond but at this price its not a priority.
It’s a little thing, but very cute. In ordinary daylight, it spouts a little fountain every 2 or 3 seconds – in full sun it goes constantly. Very relaxing to watch it. The only slight downside (very slight) are the 4 plastic “arms” that stabilise it in the water, but I’m guessing you could either do away with them, or else eventually cover them with a pond plant. Can recommend.
At first I thought I’d been sent a faulty one, but once the sun got onto the panel it works constantly – when a cloud passes overhead then it works on a pulsing action.
Obviously works best in total sunshine, it’s fine for what I want. You may be disappointed if you expect it to be constantly working just on a bright day.
I bought this to create a barrel water feature for my front garden. I’m truly impressed; it worked immediately. I should have got the barrel ready with the water and other deco before assembling. As soon as I put into the barrel; the fountain worked immediately. My front garden is a bit shady and the performance was medium. I then moved to my back garden; WOW! It raised as high as 4-5 feet. I ordered another one and put it near the gate with a different sprinkler mode. My cats thought it’s their new drinking fountain as they got one in the house. My cats enjoy their drinks and we enjoy the sound of the water. Idealfor cats and cat mad people

PS it needs direct sun on the whole thing to work. It wouldn’t work in a shady spot of the garden. I can cover 1/4 with my hand and it stops working.

It is a very beautiful little water feature. It seem to work at it best indirect sunlight. However, if the water in the bird bath is shallow, the fountain protests very loudly, quite noisy. but sile

Smaller than I’ve previously bought but does the job! It has plastic centering rods which keeps it nicely in place would recommend!
Expected very little from this for the price but it does the job extremely well when the sun is out. Perfect for a very small area of pond water or water feature. Gives a nice natural background noise until I hard wire in a proper pump!
Works well in weak sun. Can get clogged with pond weed although easy to clean.
Brought this for a half barrel pond for the kids and it works great but only when the sun is on it….

For the price I didn’t expect anything fancy. Higher sprays tend to emply the fountain as it’s blown away on the wind.
Also the nozzles get blocked by the tinniest grass seed which is annoying.
It’s a lovely little fountain and great for the price. It does need direct sunlight to work so will be a lovely little fountain in the summer months
The water pump is easy to assemble and starts working straight away. Fun inexpensive gadge
Well priced fountain unit now sitting in my small pond and squirting a jet of water skywards when the sun shines on it. Probably random, but has a habit of floating off into the shady side of the pond where it squirts intermittently ! It comes with 4 arms that keep it from going to the side and emptying your pond over the edge.
Need good sunshine to work well as its just a solar powered pump. But, thats what I expected and its a fun little thing.
It is easy to clean out any pond debris that finds its way into the tiny holes of whichever nozzle you fit. It doesn’t need full sun to function, but it does work better when not in shade. It is a good way to get oxygen into a pond with the added bonus of the pleasing sight, and sound of the water plumes.

Works very well as long as it’s kept in full sun if not it can be sporadic. The various nozzles can make for different sprays ensure water level is kept above pipes
Fountain works well. This is to replace a more powerful fountain which produced too much overspill for the size of our birdbath. This is much better.
However, one item is missing from the package. Connecting pipe B7 is missing preventing me using nozzles B1 B2 and B3. Works ok with nozzles B4 B5 and B6.
What are the chances of getting pipe B7?
Particularly like to straws which act as buffers so the fountain doesn’t get push to the side of the pond, ensuring that its sits more centrally in the pond.
This pump is ok. Seems a little flimsy but is still working. Doesn’t contain energy so immediately the sun goes in or if you stand over it and create a shadow , it stops pumping. So you get what you pay for.
Technically it’s my fault for not looking at the power output, but this fountain struggles (as shown) unless the sunlight is extremely strong, and almost directly overhead.
It does function, but it’s weak.
I bought this for a tiny wildlife pond, just to move the water a bit. It works fine for that, but if you wanted it as a serious water feature, I think you’d need to site it in full sun.
The birds enjoy it though!
Really cute, the water doesn’t come up too high, so it looks fine.
