    I bought these headphones for my husband that works out the in heat. They fit well and he enjoys them daily to listen to music while he works. My complaint is when I call him it is hard to hear him as if he is muffled. He has no complaints and wears them daily.

    Battery life is quite a bit better then the earlier Aeropex Aftershokz. Sounds quality is good but not quite as loud as Aeropex. The spring band that holds them to your head is a bit more flexible which means it doesn’t press against your head as hard so is more comfortable but is also the most likely reason they don’t seem as loud (on me anyways)… I still prefer them over the other models though…

    I am sensitive to inner ear devices. I have tried many on ear devices and this one is perfect. Sound is good. My voice on phone calls is said to be very good. Is you want noise cancelling and hear music with great bass and treble, this will not be for you. But if you want a good fit with good sound and phone call use, this is the one. I use it while working out: phone calls, listening to music and podcasts. I also now use it over to my Bose super high end over ear wireless headphones with noise cancellation. If it holds up long term I will come back and update. But so far…EXCELLENT AND WOULD PURCHASE AGAIN!!!

    I must say this is probably the best purchase I’ve ever did. I love these headphones. Sound quality is awesome, the ease of use is amazing. The mic is awesome, my only issue with this product is battery life, it seemed to drain fast after my first use. 2 hrs of being on it was at 50 percent. But other then that I personally love this product..

    Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI bought these as a bit of a gimmick and that’s exactly what these are.

    For runners, cyclists etc, these would be brilliant. They will stick to your head and won’t fall off. For this reason only, I give it a 4 star.

    The problem is that these are not headphones to sit back and relax with, say on a train or plane. They are not adjustable for size, so when you put your head back to lean on a seat head-rest, they will be pushed forward off your ears.

    Furthermore, don’t be fooled in that bone conduction cannot be heard by others. It is very very audible to others untill you reduce the volume down 90% like any other headphones. For example, once I heard my phone ring and I answered it. I thought my phone was on loud speaker with low volume but then I realized it was coming out of the headphones sitting a meter away on the table.

    I don’t quite understand the bone conduction part because, these are simply meshed speakers close to your ears.

    In fairness however they are called openrun so I presume it is meant for sports hence the 4 star.

    Love these. Best battery life I have ever had in a earpeace solution. Having the open ear is fantastic atnwork where I cant have my ears covered. Volume could be a little better, if its a loud environment it can be hard to hear. Also, can be some discomfort behind the ear if you wear glasses for a long time with the headset on, but it wasnt until after 8 hours before I even noticed it so its not bad at all, but worth mentioning for those that do wear glasses.

    I’ve been using this for a couple weeks and I’m very happy it met my high expectations. I work at a factory so I need to be able to hear surrounding sounds, battery be able to last 10 hours for my whole shift, good sound quality, and comfortable to wear. I’m happy to report that the headphones are able to do all of them. So far I have no issues with them and recommend them to anyone who needs open ear/bone conducting headphones.

    I feel like I got a new pair of ears. I put it on and went for an evening walk. Together with a clear sound of music, I can also hear birds chirping, wind going through tree leaves, my soft footsteps, and distant barking of a dog. The composer must have been hearing the same music in his mind, while he was walking in a forest, centuries ago. On Zoom I can hear what I say as usual, while listening to others talk. No more irritations in my ear canals! It is a wonderful addition to enjoy listening many different things you like, without interfering your own hearing through your ears.

    I always have problems with buds staying in my ears. This solves the problem. I wish I had found these years ago. They are perfect for out hiking, hitting balls at the driving range, or working out at the gym. The sound quality is fine not great like my Boise but fine for what I’m using them for. Battery life seems about 8 hours. More than I need. I charge it every two or three days. Controls easy to use.

    Alllll covered in the headline. The sound quality is very good, and I like the open design so I can also hear the ambient sound around me. They’re surprisingly comfortable to wear as well, and they’re tougher than they look, too – the only downside is the battery life, which (for me, and I run them wide open) is about an hour of heads-down continual use. I’d like for them to be a bit louder on max volume as well, but overall, a great purchase.

    I love these! They are perfect for my job, which allows me to still hear what I need to and still enjoy a full days work of music. I work up to 12 to 13 hours and I have had no problems with the battery lasting that long. I kind of wish it had a way to adjust them to your head as my pony tail helps with keeping them in place. I have had ear buds and head phones and love these the most as I receive the same quality, without having them in my ears. The best thing is that it stays put.
    I also bought my husband a pair as a gift, and he loves them as much as I do.
    Thanks for a great product!

    Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersSo far so good as they say. I enjoy having these when I am working out whether it is outside for a run or inside on the bike/treadmill so that way I can still keep an ear out for traffic or if the dog is whining and needs to go outside (it’s ALWAYS when I want to workout!). I am going to try them out in the office next week so I can listen to music while I work, but also be able to hear if someone is approaching my desk to talk about something.

    My only gripe is both my wife and I have a pair and if we are working out at the same time it is hard to tell which is which in the bluetooth connection screens on the device we are using as the names are identical and there is no way to change them. The nice thing about our HR Bands we also use is they have a unique four digit number at the end of the name so we can easily tell them apart. I just wish these had something like that too.

    Another thing (and this may be our machines) if I am connected on the bike first and she goes to connect on the treadmill it will sometimes bump my connection and pair hers to the bike and then we have to play this back and forth game to get everything to connect properly. Maybe it is because the names aren’t unique? Not sure.

    Other than that they fit well, stay in place, the battery is decent, and they are a great addition to my workout routine.

    Excellent product, very comfortable, and I love them for hiking and bicycling as you can hear what is still going on around you. Good for phone calls as well. My only complaint is if you turn them up, they tickle a bit on your skin. But hey, good way to not listen to music too loud. Battery life is very good and pair up easily. Great product!

    I’m a runner and biker and these are fantastic. The sound quality is better than I would have ever expected. I must have sweaty ear canals, because buds just don’t stay in. I don’t like them in the gym because I prefer noise cancellation and they are a nuisance when laying on a bench. This is my 3rd pair because I keep leaving them in hotels – expensive habit.

    I got these to use at work, where I need to hear background noises and conversations, but may also want to listen to decent music if the background conversation or music choice sucks they work perfectly. I’d also recommend them for outdoor activities, where maintaining situational awareness is important.

    As a bonus, you kinda get to look like that mute guy in The Empire Strikes Back you know the guy, up in Cloud City. Yeah that guy.

    I tried After Shokz several years ago and promptly returned due to volume not being loud enough. Happy to report this latest version works for me. Sound quality is not great, but at least now I can hear music while I’m out running. Interesting how these do allow me to carry on a conversation with others without turning music off. I’ve used them a few weeks and decided these are my new go-to headphones for running and biking.

    Comes with a case, and 2 short charging cables. Very nice headphone set. Easy pairing and operation for calls. Like that the power and + volume key is raised and easy to feel. Magnetic charger works well, solid connection. I’ve had them for over a week and still have not needed to recharge. Supposedly they have a 10-hour battery life so I would say I have easily exceeded 6 but nowhere near 10. It does give you a battery level when you turn them on and mine is still saying it has 95% battery. Impressive. Yes, I got blue cause it’s cute.

    I bought a pair of Aftershokz (Trekz air?)years ago and used them for one day before returning. I had to have the volume about all the way up to still struggle to hear them as well the sound quality just wasn’t there.

    I ordered these in early January ’22 to try them again and have been very impressed. The sound quality and bass is much improved. It’s not audiophile quality, but you’re probably never going to get that from an open ear headphone. Again, these are open ear so you will not have any active sound isolation, however I have had instances where the volume is loud enough that you can’t hear a conversation going on in front of you.

    These headphones work with ear plugs in as well, the sound quality takes a minor hit with earplugs in but you can have the safety of earplugs and still enjoy your music.

    I wear these all day for work, they are very comfortable and don’t really cause fatigue. They are very light.

    I would hands down buy these again, and I have recommended them to multiple people.

    I resisted for some time getting this headphones. I tried multitude of earbuds in ear, over the ear…cheap and expensive and was never really liked any of them. This headphones the most comfortable and functional for me. I use them all the time for audiobooks, in my office with people talking around me and on my walks so i do not have to constantly get my phone out of my purse to answer. I do not like to carry my phone in my hands or use a pant pocket (not always wear pants with pockets). I use it on the bus. Where we live in the City, phones get stolen if if you carry them in your hands all the time. So this earphones are great.

    I use them for almost every phone call I make or receive and comfortably wear them for ten hours a day. The headset last for three days of relatively heavy use with my mobile phone and laptop for Teams, Zoom and VOIP calls. The headset can be paired with three devices but only two devices can be active simultaneously – this is not a terrible limitation as I can be connected to both my phone and laptop and use the same headset for both without having to change any settings anywhere or make another connection.

    Occasionally the headset will power off for no apparent reason and that is disconcerting but it’s a very small annoyance.

    I bought a pair of these for my partner and got the joy of giving the perfectly received gift.

    Don’t get me wrong, I was super skeptical of these when purchasing, but I absolutely LOVE them for listening to my phone! They are great for listening to music, or podcasts/YouTube from my phone. My only problem is when I try to use them dual connected for Zoom/Teams meetings on my work computer, or even listening to my personal computer. When dual connected on computers they are choppy and cut out enough to be really annoying. I’m bummed because I was excited to dual pair them at work and use them for meetings, but it turns out they really only work great with my phone, or computer, but not both. Again they are fantastic single paired, and I’ll be keeping them because of this alone, but they didn’t fully live up to my expectations when it comes to dual pairing.

    Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe positives:
    These headphones have been fantastic. The ability to wear them while working and still hear questions without people needing to repeat themselves after taking out earbuds makes them so much more functional than in-ear headphones for work. Sound is great overall, and in an 8-hour day, I have yet to drop the battery below medium. A great purchase for this application.

    The negatives:

    1)the bass is unbalanced to the sound. If I am listening to music at 20-30%, the song has essentially no bass-by 50% the bass is too much-by 70% it is uncomfortable to wear for me.

    2) These are marketed as “sport” headphones. The Openrun implies they be good for running. However, because they do not go in your ears (a positive for me overall), they allow significantly greater ambient noise into your ears making them much harder to hear music outside even at higher volumes ober the background noise. In my opinion, they are much better served indoors unless you are in a very quiet outside environment.

    Funny thing, this is the second pair of these we’ve purchased!

    I’ve owned headphones, big mothers that were around the ear style, and they were great, but big and bulky. I’ve had ear buds and they’re ok, but they kept falling out when you least expected them to. Then my wife saw these at Best Buy and we did a bunch of research and ended up buying the first pair at Best Buy for my wife.

    She loved them and when she went to download the software after three days of ownership, she discovered they came in the pretty blue color. She loved them but she had already bought a black one. So as a surprise I bought these blue ones for her planning on returning the black ones. She was surprised and convinced me to try the first pair we bought.

    So I tried them for a day and fell in love. I work in an smallish office, and it’s fairly quiet, everybody wears headphones. Playing a radio would be very rude to anyone on the hallway, as the sound would carry. This is a perfect place for these headphones.

    They are, unless turned to full volume, completely silent to anyone around you. They weigh next to nothing, I often forget I have them on! I put them on in the morning and take them off and charge them when I go to bed. They only require about 25 minutes to fully charge from a totally dead state. I wear them from 7AM till Midnight or later and they still report the batteries are medium. And I have them on and running the entire day. The great part is they don’t block your ears, so you can still hear what’s going on around you.

    They DON’T fall off your head no matter how much or how hard you shake your head around.

    I’ve always had really bad anxiety about wearing earbuds or headphones because of not being able to hear my surroundings, but at the same time I’ve never liked wearing only 1 earbud because I feel it’s not as good of a listening experience. These headphones address all my concerns.
    They allow me to hear my surroundings yet still have great audio quality. I only found out about bone conduction headphones recently and this is my first pair so I don’t have anything to compare them to but they sound as good as I could have possibly expected considering they’re not in my ears. I wasn’t expecting bose style sound quality considering my ears are open but it sounds amazing and I can hear the bass more than I expected.
    I’ve always found earbuds uncomfortable and gross because I have gross waxy ears but these headphones sit comfortably over my ears and around the back of my neck and I frequently forget I’m even wearing them. I have longer hair and usually wear a beanie and nobody can tell I have them on.
    Battery life is great. I wear them a lot and if I’m not at work they last me the entire day on one charge. When I’m at work they usually last me about 10 hours of straight uninterrupted music though I usually charge them on break. They charge pretty quickly as well.
    I’m not much of a runner but my job is pretty active and I do a lot of hiking. These have been great for that. They haven’t fallen off at work at all and I’m able to hear and respond if anybody is trying to talk to me. When I’m hiking it allows me to hear all the sounds of nature and still listen to music.
    Unless you’re a big audiophile I can’t really find any cons with these headphones. Even if you are an audiophile these things sound amazing when you consider there’s nothing in your ear and it’s all just being vibrated into your ear canal.
    Amazing technology, I love it.

    Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI have upgraded from the earlier Trekz model bought in 2020, and the difference is evident. The new pair is much more comfortable to wear, more responsive to controls, is lighter and less bulky and the sound quality is also noticeably better.

    There, however, some downsides as well:

    1. Proprietary charging cable supplied without a spare (unlike with cheaper OpenRun). Come on, there can be no excuses for that.

    2. Dual pairing (e.g. with your phone and computer) is not completely straightforward: if one source is playing, and another starts playing as well, the latter would not be heard. If, however, you stop sound on the first device and unpause the second, it’ll switch. This can be a limitation of the protocol, but is not explained clearly enough in the booklet or in the app.

    3. The price jump is very noticeable. More than twice as expensive than I paid for Trekz 2 years ago.

    The app (which is apparently Open Run Pro exclusive) is mostly a gimmick, but has a option of firmware upgrade, and it can be very useful – IF any significant updates would indeed materialise in the future (not a given).

    Overall, it is a worthy upgrade from an old model or a first buy, but if you already happen to have another cheaper model from the same generation (e.g. OpenRun) I wouldn’t bother. The difference between the two is not worth the extra 40.

    Completely met my expectations but exceeded it with regards to fit. It really sits nice on your head and you will forget about it after a while. To the contrary, if I wear in-ear buds, after some hours they become annoying and irritate the inside of my ear.

    Also, just not being closed off from your environment make a big change. Using it for making calls is above average (good!).

    Just be aware, as to be expected, the sound quality will (never) be as good as an in-ear or on-ear high quality headset, but the pro’s offset some of that for sure.

    Would recommend it as a second kit, to have and wear on suitable occasions.

    Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersWell, I own several headphone from over ear to in ear. AirPods Max, AirPods Pro, Powerbeats Pro, Beats Fit Pro, Bose QC I, Bose QC II.. Each are great but have issues for me.. So far the Shokz OpenRun Pro are helping with these issues.

    AirPods Max – make my ears too hot and causes condensation in earcups (something that is documented on the web). I wore these only for work and sometimes slept with then on.. They failed me after 9 months. Apple Uk said they failed due to water damage and showed me a picture of the blue copper stains own the headphone band tips. They invalidated my warranty.. Issue – don’t sleep with these on, causes water damage to the internals and everything stops working

    AirPods pro – nice sound, convenient to keep in your pocket. Issue – keep falling out my ears at the most inconvenient times.. e.g running on a treadmill, gardening, cutting the grass, gym work etc..

    Powerbeats Pro – my gym/activity headphones.. Great sound. Issue – bulky case to carry around. Bit too uncomfortable to wear over long periods.

    Beats Fit Pro – Brilliant in everything apart from the ear hook – can get uncomfortable and causes pain. Also fall out during the most inconvenient time.. E.g running, ears get sweaty and they fall out. Nearly lost one under the treadmill once.

    Then I purchased the Shokz OpenRun Pro after trying on the Shokz OpenRun at my local Costco. They are comfortable, hardly know I have them on. Can even sleep all night with them on whilst listening to the radio. Tried them at the gym, running/cycling/weights – no problem whatsoever. Don’t get sweaty ears, no ear wax problems either lol !!! I have even worm them out whilst shopping.. Love that I can hear my music but also have awareness of my surroundings.. Love that I can jump into my car and the audio seamlessly switched from my headphones to the car bluetooth so don’t have to take them off.

    Issues so far — the Shokz OpenRun Pro headphones app and switching with other devices such as iPhone and MacBook.. Not as seamless as the Apple H1 chip.. Have to manually disconnect bluetooth on these device and then re-enable to get to connect. The Shokz iOS app is a bit of a pain but then again so is the Bose iOS app if you know what I mean..

    Anyway I am sure that these will not be my last headphone purchase but in the meantime they are my go tos for now.

    I never tried bone conducting headphones before, I have only seen only 1 other person wearing them at the gym. My advise is to go try a pair… Wonder when the next iteration will be band free and whether they can be more like the Powerbeats Pro.. i.e don’t fall out because of the over ear design but 2 separate units.

    Review written as someone who uses them for trail running.

    GOOD

    – Fit is excellent (I have a biggish head) and they do not bounce, move or pinch my head. I quite literally forget I’m wearing them.
    – You can hear the world around you. which is awesome. Of course this only applies at lower volumes, as playing anything loud will drown out the ambient sound even if your ears are not covered.
    – Waterproof (rain) feature is important as I often run in very wet conditions and have worn these in moderate downpours without issues.
    – sound is just good for spoken audio (See below)
    – Battery life is excellent at the time of writing
    – Easy to connect

    NOT SO GOOD

    SOUND:

    – These are my first Shokz and if these are an upgrade in sound over the previous model, I would not want to know what those sounded like. The sound on these are good for spoken audio (audiobooks, language courses etc), but for music they sound very ‘tinny’. I understand that this is what you get with bone conduction, but I would not praise the bass at all. For reference an album like ‘BANKS – III’ really makes these struggle and bass sound like unnatural electric distortion (similar to a torn speaker). Definition is also quite lousy and when listening to Metal it sounds just like it would being played on 5 EUR in ear headphones. Again – I’m ok with this for what these are, but given the price I would have expected A LOT more.

    PRICE
    – Having used these now for a while I would not value them more than 90 to 110 EUR (which would be pushing it). Essentially you are paying for comfort and open ear design and definitely not the sound.

    BUTTONS
    – If you run in cold weather, wear gloves, or struggle with small buttons then the button on the left ear is useless. If my hands are cold it is impossible for me to press the rapid sequences required to skip or rewind. If wearing gloves its impossible to feel where to press and you are just blindly pushing at your hear in what you think is the right frequency of presses.

    — Conclusion–

    In terms of fit and open ear design these are great for running, but do not expect great sounding music. I would recommend waiting for sales as they are defintily not worth the asking price of 190 EUR.

Never!

    If you are looking for a comfortable open ear headset, then this is the right tool for the job. It is light, fits comfortably, and doesn’t move around when jogging. The sound quality was better than what I was expecting to be honest, but you can not, and should not, compare this to in-ear or over-ear headsets. No head rocking bass, but all podcast are crystal clear, phone calls are perfectly understandable, and most music sounds great. I traded the better sound quality for safety and awareness, which is the point of this device.

    If having a case is important to you then it’s worthwhile to spend a little more money on the Openrun Pro model rather than the Openrun.

    Apart from getting the absolute latest in bone conduction technology your extra A$40 (at the time of writing) also gets you a hard case to store your headphones which in my eyes is very good value for money.

    Now for the device itself, I can’t fault them. The sound quality is impressive given the open design. They are very lightweight and sit tight as a glove on my ears. These will be replacing the jaybird bluebuds I was using as fitness headphones previously and I couldn’t be happier with the shockz. Definitely a premium device that is a clear leader in the fitness audio category.

    If you want a hard case get the Pros.

Now I can listen to music while still hearing the birds and more importantly vehicles. I was a little skeptical about how these headphones would sound and feared they would be tinny. Not the case, Sound is rich and full, Base is pretty good for what they are and can go loud too without distorting. Maybe they are not as good as sealed in ear headphones however you can’t wear those when cycling. Comfort is excellent and you forget you are wearing them. Fit fine with a helmet and glasses too. I switched over from a few in-ear earbuds and have been using it to listen to podcasts, attend zoom meetings, and watch films for around a month.

    As a headset, the quality is great.
    The sound quality is crisp clear.
    It provides the best fit of all the headphones I have tried, whether it be over-the-ear, in-the-ear, or in-the-ear with hooks. I do not have to worry about it falling off at any time.
    It also has the most reliable bluetooth connection. Several times, I paused my podcasts, forgot to unpause it for an hour or two, and was delighted it kept the connection. Most other headphones would have randomly dropped half of those connections. It also keeps the connection when there is one floor between me and my laptop.
    Lastly, I am impressed by its battery life and how much battery it has saved while muted. I paused it but forgot to turn it off last night. When I woke up some 9 hours later, it was still turned on, and the battery level was still high.

    As for what I dislike about it, it is charged using what I believe to be a custom design cord. A typical USB-A or USB-C cord does not fit.

    For those who are unfamiliar with bone conduction headphones, here are a few things I noticed:
    First, it took around 30 minutes to get used to, since it felt like someone was speaking to me telepathically.
    Second, as you might expect, it does not block out or distort environmental sounds. This is both a blessing and a curse. I never have to remove my headphones when I am out shopping or with friends. However, it works badly in noisy environments.
    Lastly, the open ear design provides a lot of unexpected benefits. I never again need to remove my headphones to vent my ear canals or to prevent amplifying sound of me food being chewed inside my mouth. This allows me to put the headphone on very fast after a shower (when there is moisture in my ear canals), keep it on for hours, and listen to music while I eat.

    Overall, this headphone provides crisp clear sounds, sturdy fit, good battery life, and an open ear design that does not get in the way of conversations. I generally keep it on for the entire day. It is well worth the high price tag.

    Golden Review Award: 138 From Our UsersSo Shokz (formerly AfterShokz) has released their latest gen Bone Conduction earbuds, the Openrun Pro’s. I have been waiting to invest in a set of bone conduction buds until I felt the price could be justified. The early reviews were glowing for these so I pulled the trigger. As both a runner and someone that owns a ton of earbuds, I felt like I was the right audience for these. At $179, these have moved up into the more premium stratosphere price wise. Are they worth it? Here is my take:

    I usually bullet point the good and bad when I review more traditional buds and cans but these are so nuanced, I just think I need to lay out my thoughts. First, I can spare some of you a somewhat lengthy read. If you aren’t running or, at the very least, working out outside where you need to hear things going on around you, these aren’t for you. The compromises you have to make in sound quality versus a more traditional bud or set of headphones just aren’t worth it. Try as they might, Shokz still hasn’t put bone conduction tech on the same level. That said, from an audio perspective, the Openrun Pro’s surprised me. There is crisp audio and some actual low end. Music sounds good and on multiple genres. I fired up Beastie Boys, Jay Z, Flaw, Interpol, Slipknot, AC/DC, and a number of others and all of it sounded decent. Decent. All while leaving your ears open to the environment around you. Again, even most entry level no name ear buds are going to be more fulfilling for music but this will work for me. Podcasts sound even better. There is an EQ toggle in the Shokz app (ignore the bad reviews there is an update that fixes Android 12 issues) that allows you to enhance vocals and it works. Pods and video are great here. When I run outside, I can completely accept “decent” sound in exchange for the safety of be able to hear my surroundings.

    In terms of hardware, these are extremely comfortable on and most importantly, when running, they stay put. I mean don’t move at all. Controls are easy with a volume rocker on the right and a single multi-action button on the left. You get a waterproof rating of IP55 which is just barely enough for me but it will work with the way I sweat and should be enough for occasional rain. Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity is here so you get great stable range and easy pairing. You get 10 plus hours of battery life on a single charge. Charging is done via a proprietary magnetic charger which I don’t normally like but this one is good. Oh, and call quality, while not game changing, is more than adequate. It is all really well done. Cheers to the Shokz design team here.

    In terms of competition or other considerations, the Tarah Pro’s for Jaybird immediately came to mind. The Jaybirds are another one that I pretty much only recommend for runners. Those sound much better as they are in ear buds, offer an IPX7 rating so they are much more water tight, and have a similar form factor and intangibles. However, while the Tarah Pro’s aren’t noise cancelling, they do significantly reduce your ability to hear what is going on around you. I always tell myself, I will keep the volume down, then some killer workout jam hits and I am back to full volume and deaf to the world around me. If you do that with the Openrun Pro’s, the only thing that happens is you end up with a little bass tickle in your ears. You can still hear the cars, bikes, and buses all around you. Call it forced self preservation.

    For me, what Shokz has done here deserves a lot of credit. If you run outdoors around things that can hurt you, these absolutely 100% warrant your consideration. I would actually go further and say that you should buy them. They aren’t cheap but Shokz includes a 2 year warranty here which most of us runners will surely test. Those that don’t need something for outside, don’t bother here. You will be disappointed. Runners rejoice, a product that was clearly designed for us is here. Embrace it! Recommend!

    As the name suggests, for runners.

    Golden Review Award: 136 From Our UsersI recently purchased the OpenRun (Aeropex) headphones for 129 dollars and had the following issues:
    The collar encircling the head in the back had a large circumference, making a less than ideal fit over the ears;
    The charging port was right adjacent to the low volume/high volume buttons;
    The multifunction button was flush with the surface of the headset, making it difficult for my finger to find it;
    The audio overall was very good but base tones were poorly heard.

    I am pleased to say that these headphones are a significant improvement, and they are worth the extra money.
    The posterior collar is smaller, enabling a better fit;
    The charging port has been moved away from the volume/power buttons;
    The multi-function button has now been raised so it is easily palpable;
    The audio quality is more crisp:
    Base reproduction is better, although will need ongoing improvement;
    There is now an app, which might update firmware, such as in improvement in base quality;

    Last but not least, rather than struggle putting the headset into a silicone pouch, there is a hard plastic case with a groove for the headset to lie in.
    You also get a cool looking thin headband.

    So: get these and enjoy!
    These are now good enough to be an alternative to in-ear headphones and allow “situational awareness.
    P.S. I enjoy these most when listening at half to three-quarters volume. With the bone technology, raising to full volume distorts the sound.
