Installation was hard wifi was hard too but machine works not the best but strong machine

I got this for my feral kitty that lives at one of my homes. I hate to see animals hungry and since I’m not there a lot I needed her to be able to eat.
I set this up and was easy to do so. If you put out 3 portions at once the food gets stuck but overall it’s a great feeder and good video
This feeder is pretty good. I love having the camera and the microphone there. The only downside is it tends to get clogged up. I have found that by dispensing more than 1 portion at a time can also cause clogging. I have learned to only feed 1 portion at a time. So it can be frustrating to feed when out of town because it may get clogged and delay feeding my cats. Overall a good product. Love the camera and the ability to talk with my pets when I am not there.

This product dispensed food for 18 months and the dispenser mechanism no longer works, so I now just have a security camera with a food storage container and bowl. Upon examining the issue I just realized that the turning blades that rotate food into the hidden tray for the shute is made of rubber not plastic and the weight of the food in the storage container must have compressed the blades so not to get a good rotation to scoop the food and probably why I had to increase the food portions as the dispensed amount would get less over time and so I would manually feed extra portions on the app but the struggle to move the food must have burned out the motor? Also my spouse couldn’t view the camera while away from the house on a separate phone only I could and only able to view only while at home on the WiFi.
This is a great feeder for a small bread dog! The feeder handles the perfectly, never has jammed up. It is also great to be able to view the camera and check in on my pets when I’m not home. Would highly recommend!
I received the package today and I am excited to try and use it. It looks very promising.
Feeder works good the only reason I gave it 4 stars is I had to put the feeder on a 2×10 to raise it up and lower the food tray so it wouldn’t plug up when dispensing food
It works really well, fairly easy to set up (shouldn’t take more than 20 minutes total). Reliable machine.
An expensive price tag but so far there have been no issues. Setup wasn’t too difficult and the dog soon learnt when the food was being dispensed. The only issue is if you try to feed too many portions it will not clear the drop spout and the app will alert you with a “Dispense excessive food” notification (iOS). This isn’t a problem if your pet is at the spout eating as fast as it comes out. Someone in another review modified their feeder by sitting it on some wood at a higher level than the feed trough and fastening it all in place so it can’t be knocked around. We have a small issue with ants being attracted to the feed trough but that is hardly a fault of the machine itself. Camera is good enough for you to see if your pet is feeding but the camera is only inches from their head – don’t expect cinema-quality video. Haven’t used the speaker and microphone function so can’t comment on that. Make sure you use pet food with a small enough pellet size for the machine to handle.
In summary – satisfied with how it’s working at this point.
I love this automatic feeder and so do my 7 cats. I recorded my voice and everytime they hear it, they all come running. We disconnected the tray and have the feeder setting up an inch because we had so many cats to feed and it would stop putting out food before it should have because the food would fill up right below the release. Setting it up higher has helped greatly. No short feedings.
This pet feeder does its job and can hold a lot of food. I’m loving it and so does my cat. I’m able to check on her even during vacation. It feels good to have a peace of mind that my furry kid is being fed while I’m away.
We bought this so we can feed our cat at 3am when he wakes us up! Also great for when we are working late and don’t want our buddy to go hungry
SKYMEE saved my life with this product. My GSD who needs to eat every 4-6 hours can have a set dispensing schedule with the luxury of added manual feeds if I’m running late. Convenience-yes, peace of mind-completely, heart happy-HELL YES.
I was worried at first that my dogs would get crazy and break into the feeder for extra but it has remained sturdy. I did have to purchase a different dog food as our last one kept getting jammed. The amount dispensed takes a little trial and error but is not that difficult. The camera–I had no idea how lovely it would be to see my boys so clearly, be able to talk to them through the mic, and know they are safe.
It works great, just kind of hard to figure how much food to give your dog. Once you do, and set it up, you just keep the food filled.
Received my auto feeder in a timely manner, package was as expected. Hope to enjoy this one for a long time.
I love this product. It is great and works perfectly and has great picture and functionality. I wish it came with a tube or something to protect the power chord though as little puppies live to chew. But l am very happy with this purchase overall.
I was just amazed by this product.Came well packaged and easy to install.Just install the SKYMEE APP and follow the instructions to pair with this SMART FEEDER AL.
We tried to put large kibbles and it turned out good but don’t over stock because the one that is pushing the food is actually plastic not metal.For now,as to my second picture,we are using it as a video recorder as per you can record a live video because our puppy still on his 3 months old and keeps on biting everything.But overall,image quality,product quality and the quantity meets my expectations.

I have been contacted by Skymee that I have a replacement being sent out. I am more than willing to update the rating once I receive the replacement and it’s fully functional as intended
Purchased 1-15-21. Received 1-18-21. Worked great up until return window. Exactly 1 month. I have had to reset this feeder twice. I completely cleaned it out and replaced the batteries (even with the power cable plugged in, just to make sure). I have also reinstalled the app.
I have it seating 6 feet away from my router and they both show a strong and excellent connection. nothing blocking the signal.
It will no longer dispense food manually and the camera will no longer show anything. (It states its connecting). This is with the app and router showing an excellent connection. Neither will work until I completely reset it. After resetting it. It stalls after just a couple of minutes.
Side note – I do have all the pieces connected/installed
Had to leave town on short notice and leave 3 dogs alone for 5 days. Device arrived next day and setup took me an hour (assembly plus wifi connection and configuration and getting 3 d-cell batteries). Everything worked as advertised – and was able to share new email login and pw with family out of country so they could check-in on pets too. Camera works great in day light, and black and white in darkness (infrared). Did have glitch (maybe network provider) on day 1 away, worried a bit, but support was responsive and reassured me my schedules continued even if power was out – later in the day connectivity returned and all was great until finally returning home.
Great purchase – hopefully lasts for years.
UPDATE:
The replacement unit came in and out of curiosity before I went to the trouble of putting the new feeder together and reprogramming everything, I decided to just use the new plug and cord in my original feeder and as soon as I switched them it worked, so I just sent the replacement feeder back with the bad cord.
The replacement process was pretty painless and went very smooth.
Amazon delivered the new unit within 2 days and I dropped it back off at Kohl’s.
As far as the feeder goes, the instructions and app are a bit difficult and it takes some navigating but once you figure it out the feeders are great.
We love the camera and the ability to talk to our cats when we’re gone as well as the ability to record your voice for a feeding times.
I wish we would get notifications when the food is low… we just check it before we go out of town and make sure it full.
I would like to have a 3-5 day notice based on feeding options so we could order our food and have it delivered.
I dont feel the quality is as good as the PetNet feeders, who went out of business after I had 6 feeders, 3 for us and 3 for gifts… but as long as these hold up I’ll be happy as they definitely have more features and allow you to have more than 1 feeder linked I their app.
Now, the interface with Alexa leaves something to be desired… I’m not happy with it at all! You have to ask Alexa to open the skill then say “Feed Cheetoe 2 portions”.
I wish you could set up a routine so when you said “Alexa, feed Cheetoe 2 portions” it would open the Skyme app and choose the correct pet and feed 2 portions…
Another thing I wish they would fix is the backup battery in case the electricity goes out when you’re away from home. Currently you have to buy and install 4 C batteries.
It makes more sense that the feeder would have a rechargable lithium battery that charges itself when plugged in and then keeps the feeder powered 9n of electricity goes out because normal batteries go bad and Heaven forbid the batteries are out when the electricity goes out and you’re away from home for days!
Anyway, I will definately update more information later.

I’ve been searching for months for an exeptional model and this is the one…
Months of cat food…( 51 cups ” 12 litres ” ) packed with tones of features….!!! And super easy to install and configure.
I got the larger size and it holds enough that we only have to refill it every few months. I like that you can schedule multiple meals, pick portions, have a cam option, connect via app, has a well sealed lid, and the tray is easy to clean. It also has a voice function where you can record your voice to call them to eat, but we don’t use it.
Two easy Tips:
1) It is a bit loud when it dispenses the food so I put down a flat silicone square that’s meant to be used as an alternative to Saran Wrap, which helps muffle the noise.
2) I placed it on top of some sturdy boxes so it’s a good height for the cats to easily feed out of vs at floor level
I have two cats, but I got this auto pet feeder because of the-one-who-cries-for-food-at-dawn. Maybe it’s because we are home now with her all day, but she has become more insistent on food. And she was causing trouble at 5-5:30am trying to wake me and get fed. This machine also allows us – when we can take longer trips again – to make sure the cats will be taken care of.
We had allowed free feeding after we had adopted both our cats about 3 years ago, but she gained 4lbs so we had to enact meal times. At first both cats were alarmed by the sounds it made when food came tumbling out, but now they run towards it when they hear it turn on and about to dispense the crispy crunchies.
