Pretty much what I expected but a couple of the chips had edges of the stickers turned up.
I bought this set, 500 denominated, for home poker games as an upgrade to our $20 starter set we bought a while back. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase. Chips are high quality with very few manufacturing defects (there are bound to be some in a set this size). Note that these are injection molded ABS chips with iron cores, so if you are determined to find true clay chips, you’ll want to look elsewhere. Frankly, I have no problem with ABS chips, and in fact they’ll likely outlast any clay chips as they are considerably more durable. For the average player, they’ll work just fine, and you’ll likely need to spend more money for true clay chips. I really like the chip design, and it matches perfectly with SLOWPLAY’s poker mat, which you can see in my video. In previous reviews, I’ve noticed people complain about “stretch marks” on the chips from the manufacturing process, and that the yellow on the “5” chips was too dark. Both of these issues seem to have been resolved.
I’m very happy with the case, it has a hard plastic shell with latches that require you to depress a button to pop them open (a nice safety feature). When fully loaded with 500 chips, the case weighs north of 20 lbs.
The cards are decent, though I definitely prefer my Copag set. They are certainly a step up from your typical plastic coated paper cards though.
The dealer button is a nice touch, though I would have liked to have seen blind buttons included.
If you are looking for a nice home set, you can’t go wrong!
I was looking for nice chips that had a little heft to them. These fit the bill and then some. Case is also very nice. I like them so much that I’ve purchased 3 sets. I guess you could say I’m all in 🙂
I was originally considering buying Iron Clays – a product designed for the board game Brass: Birmingham, to replace the cardboard money tokens. Whilst researching the product, I found that the Iron Clays were much lighter at around 7.5g per chip.
These chips are heavyweight (14g) and have a beautiful art deco design that is subtle, making them ideally versatile for use in other games. One of the other nice features is that there are no currency denominations on these chips – each chip simply has a value, so it could represent $, , or any other type of currency as circumstances dictate.
The case itself is beautifully crafted and is exceptionally strong. Don’t underestimate the weight of a 500PCS set, it can be deceptive! Everything about this screams quality, even down to the 2 packs of playing cards, which feel amazing and are slightly thinner than standard decks and the hefty metal dealer token that were supplied in the box.
Cannot recommend these highly enough, the quality is superb, the chips feel amazing and the price is fantastic for the what’s being offered. At the time of writing this, I paid 149.99 for the product, but honestly feel like it’s worth at least double that.
The set is great and the deck of cards that come with it is great quality
There are many alternatives available but I brought this for a gift for a friend and the quality speaks for itself. Not you normal set. This is definitely a level above and for show piece. The chips are heavy and very well weighted and case is immaculate.
Just used this for poker night and all of my guests complimented the quality of this set. The numbers are printed/baked on so no stickers. This set seems extremely durable and I can’t wait to use this for years to come. I do wish it had come with large and small blind buttons however. I’ll have to try and find separate buttons that align to the beautiful styling of this set.
This poker set is amazing! Everything from the weighty chips, to the supplied red/blue card decks. The case is very nice except for the latches. The first time I opened the case, one of the latches broke. Now, it is broke, but once latched, it stays together decently. So much so that I’m not going to bother returning it. Looking forward to more professional poker nights to come.

At first I was disappointed that I Received the case without any chips, only the box itself. But customer service went above and beyond to fix this issue. Now I can enjoy poker with my friends. Highly recommended!

This product is amazing for it’s price. The chips feel very good in my hands. The box is sturdy. I also love the added dealer coin.
The only complaint I have for the set is the cards as it’s a glossy finish and as a result I ordered a separate deck of cards for the set, but I don’t think this deserves to dock a point off as it’s more of a personal preference.

Leider musste ich feststellen, dass es beim Kartendeck Verarbeitungsfehler gibt (kleine Dellen), so etwas ist bei Karten recht ungnstig, da man sich die Karten merken kann.
Da ich die Karten zum Spielen bereits verwendet habe, ist mir dies erst whrenddessen aufgefallen.
Das 2. Kartendeck habe ich noch nicht geffnet, evtl. ist dies in einem besseren Zustand.
Ansonsten bin ich zufrieden, allerdings rgert mich das mit den Karten schon etwas, da der Koffer nicht ganz gnstig ist.

The only problem that i can say is the divisors are not that great compare with other sets od poker, but overall good product.
Wie im Bild zu sehen sammelt sich sehr schnell Staub an den Rndern des Stickers. Habe aktuell noch nicht mal ein komplettes Spiel abgeschlossen, nur ein paar Chiptricks gebt.
Durch den schwarzen Hintergrund sieht man den Staub sehr deutlich.
Gewicht und Handling sonst gut.

Honestly very impressed with the two day delivery. Packaging, sturdiness of the case and casino quality chips. Dealer button is a rigid metal design that looks great but has a bit of weight to it so don’t throw it around. Cards are plastic so nothing super notable but overall very impressed.

Not sold in the same cheap “aluminum color” (read: electroplated plastic) carrying case that all the other poker chip sets sold on Amazon use. I bought one of those other kits first; they are seriously tacky and not worth it. I spent more than I wanted to on a set of chips but I suppose the case and the chips together just can’t be made right at a $50 price point.
After several family poker nights using dirty coins, my wife & kids asked why we don’t order chips. I did a lot of research of reviews on chips. A lot of chips had stickers not centered of falling off issues. What was the most concerning was the cases breaking to the point that some people added a strap around the outside because of failing latches. I had visions of the case opening up and 500 chips dropping everywhere.
I bought this set because of the reviews of the chips and case. It arrived packaged in a nice cardboard box with padding all around the filled chip case. The quality of the case and chips were superb. The chips weigh around 25 lbs. and I can now easily see why other cases fail. My wife picked up the chips and said they feel exactly like casino chips and she doesn’t even want to ask how much this set cost. The only hesitation I had in ordering the non-denominated chips is that it only comes with 4 colors. Additional chips are available on Amazon and I ordered purple non-denominated chips. I’ll replace 25 of the yellow chips with 25 of the purple to make a 5 colored set. Zero regrets about this purchase, the look/quality is amazing.

The chips are very good quality and very consistent with no imperfections or blemishes that were noticed. The denomination works really well for our Hold ’em games with the bulk in the 1s and 5s
I don’t generally rate things, but I really was impressed by this poker set everything about it screams nice and the finishing on it is pretty great (not perfect but really good) … in a line expensive but worth it.
Quality made the use of these chips easy to use. The weight perfect for distribution and handling, Handsome design, quality set.

Solid Cary case. Chips stack well and feel good in the hand. Haven’t noticed any imperfections yet of the few times I’ve used the set. I believe they are worth purchasing.
Overall a set that worth the price, I like the quality of the chips, and the rose gold dealer button, it’s cool! However the quality of the cards are not so great, in the set I got, the red deck has a twisted flip card and the corner of all the cards seemed like they are squeezed in some way. Except for that, I like the modern design, it’s awesome!

I’m not one to write reviews but this set just blew me away with the quality. Very nice set. Cards it comes with are great, I swapped mine out for a couple set of black cards cause it really goes with the flow of the whole set. Case is the nicest case I’ve seen come with a poker set. Liked it so much I got another one to give to my father as a gift.
Bought this for my son for Xmas. Him and his friends have taken up what I like to call “covid” poker since they can’t play sports. The chips have great weight to them and colors ares vibrant. We matched it up with some KEM cards and a poker hat and he now thinks he’s a card shark. Great value for the money and has provided many hours of fun. The case is well made and very sturdy. It weighs a ton!
Worth the price if looking for the very best. The case seems mil-spec. Each chip has a heavy luxurious feel. Solid metal dealer marker and two nice decks of cards included as well. Only set of game chips you will ever need.
1. The sets are advertised as “SLOWPLAY Nash 14 Gram Clay Poker Chips Set for Texas Hold’em” yet the sets do not come with the Large Blind and Small Blind Buttons, which Texas Hold’em requires. This is not a show stopper because you can purchase quality Buttons on Amazon — although, considering how expensive these sets are, you would think that the Blind Buttons would be included.
2. Some of the images for this product show the gold chips as a bright yellow. They are not, they’re a brown color.
Overall these sets are stunning and the cases are really nice — truly top-notch. The two latches on the case lock, you have to depress a button on the bottom of each latch to open the latch. Shipment went well, the outside Amazon box was a little battered-up but the two manufacture’s boxes were in great shape. The cases and chips themselves were in perfect shape.
Definitely a differemce in the quality of this set vs s cheaper one. I was actually surprised with this one. Definitely a high quality set. The cards it comes with are alsk surprisingly good quality. I am impressed!
After talking with the supplier they sent me an updated set free of charge. This set came in pristine condition and in top quality I am extremely happy with the end-user giving themselves another chance with me and paid off with a great product and I highly recommend them in the future.
