I bought two of these chairs and have been using them for a couple of months. They were easy to assemble (just follow instructions) and neither had any of the defects seen on other reviews. The chairs are very comfortable and the swivel armrests means they can fit beneath the desks in our home study when not in use
I use this chair for my office, I spend a lot of time sitting, this chair is really really comfortable, the only drawback for me is the wheels, they could be sturdier, but overall fabulous chair…

I found this chair super easy to build and I am pleased with the quality and overall comfort. For the price I paid I think it is an excellent chair, it really does have an “executive” feel to it.
Worth every penny, I had a good chair but it didn’t support my back like this one, my other chair was similar but from Argos and cost more. This chair is definitely better, strong and supports your back, if you have put chairs like this together before it will be straightforward, for others putting one togeather first time best have a friends help as can be fiddly. Overall very happy

This is an excellent chair for gaming, general & work use at the computer. Very comfortable. Easy to assemble with 2 people – all the screw holes were correctly placed which has not been the case in previous chairs. Would recommend this chair for serious & casual PC users.

Easy to assemble if you are adept with basic hand skills. Great for guitarists as the arms move so you don’t have to perch. Does not recline enough for me but otherwise happy.
Easy to assemble, very comfortable for sitting at desk and using computer. Liftable arms means I can play my guitar easily. Only drawback is that seat back only reclines with you physically leaning back, although amount of tilt is controllable by a pressure/tension knob under the seat.

I sustained quite a bad spinal injury and needed a better chair for support and this has been wonderful compared to my previous office chair. I feel supported and comfortable while I use it, Has made me rethink whether to purchase a new ned as I’ve fallen asleep on this many of times with a blanket and feet up.
Would highly recommend as reasonably proved and trust me it it provides and unrivalled amount of support.

It would be better if the recline could be locked at a given angle.
Took about 20mins to get the chair built and am amazed at how well built it is.
My old chair was a DX Racer and this one is by far much more comfortable at half the price.
Big and roomy to sit in and have spent many hours sitting in it with no back pains or any other discomfort which was the problem I had with the DX Racer.
Would certainly recommend it for anyone wanting comfort at a sensible price.

Comfy chair and well made. I was able to assemble this myself and I am not very practical so if I can do it anyone can!
The chair arrived very quickly, the box was suffering slightly from transport, but the parts were all well protected inside the box.
Assembly was easy, just remember to follow the instructions, the fitting of the back is simplicity if you keep the screws loose and lay the back on the seat, as per the diagrams.
As this is only the first week, the durability is unknown, but the comfort is very good for my 5’9″ frame, the lower lumbar support is good without being obtrusive, my neck is able to relax back on the head support, so rocking staring in to space for inspiration is comfortable. The seat height is is better than I expected, although I am only about 1cm off the minimum of its range, is a good height for me and while expansive, does not feel overlarge when your sat in it.
If I were to pick fault, it would be the arms, I love that they are retractable, but I do wish they had been supplied with an adjustable option, at the height i have the chair the arms slip exactly under the desk, while this means they are not in the way as such, they do rub the underside of the desk and so will not last very long if allowed to do that constantly, so i have to have them upright out of the way much of the time

The most comfortable office chair I have purchased in a 20 year period by a considerable distance, especially as I have back and knee issues. Construction seems excellent too, but as I’m only a few days into usage, only time can tell one that. Currently at a great low price, so what’s not to love?!

This chair is so good, to say it is good value for money is to suggest that it is a ‘value’ product. It is better than that.
I’ve had a few chairs over the years – spend a lot of time at my PC, too much probably.
This one feels like it will last – the faux leather is the nearest thing to real leather I’ve ever touched, well, nice to touch anyway.
It took very little time to assemble – though having a proper Allen key tool rather than the standard bent spanner they supply helped – not that the supplied one is not good, just that something you can grip better and spin faster helped!
I would recommend this chair to anyone, especially suitable for the larger person – like me!

Pleased with the quality, quite straightforward to put up with two people, although would be a challenge for just one. The chair is comfortable and sturdy (I am a large man). I like the folding arms which allow you to store right under a desk. The wheels are also very maneouverable even on carpet. One thing to note is the chair sits quite low so it is worth checking the measurements before purchase. Overall I am very happy with the purchase.
This chair is very comfortable. I suffer with low back pain and needed something with good support and was comfortable to sit in for long periods of time, I am a photographer and spend a lot of time editing. It was very easy to assemble and took me around 10 minutes total. Instructions were clear and the parts were packaged in a way that you could not make a mistake by using the wrong bits (screws etc). Delivery was quick. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone needing a comfy chair to work from.

Sturdy and durable.
Was having some doubts about the handles at first since they are the only thing that hold the back of the chair in place, but it performed pretty well.
Adjusting the height was a pain, but still deserves 5 Stars.

About what would be expected for the money. Reasonably well made and well packaged. At least Songmics have them made to their brand and maybe their design. Assembly was easy, just take care to start all screws square, and don’t tighten them until they are all in place. I used a screwdriver bit instead of the allen key supplied. I would prefer a slightly longer cushon with more thigh support Backrest is fine. Arms nice and soft,and the fold up feature is good, and why this chair was chosen. No creaks yet. Time will tell.

Good points – relatively easy to put up as long as instructions are followed. I like the idea of the arms going up as it means I can get in closer to my desk at home. It supports my back do not know what it would be like for hours sitting on it I use it for several hours at the most in one go, like arm rests they are nicely padded. Also it came with 2 spare swivels, not sure if this means they wear out quickly I hope not.
You should know…My husband put it up also found that when putting the seat in to leave the 2 rear screws a little loose as when putting the back on after fixing the top screws on the back you need some leverage on the bottom screws to ease these on the bottom screws will not go on if the bottom back screws are tight.
WOW! What a truly excellent product. I have never had an office chair this comfy. Very easy to assemble. Comes with two spare wheels and spare bolts and covers. Folding arm rests are smooth to move. The space between arm rests is also big enough for a larger physique. I thought for this price it would be an OK chair but I truly believe this has the quality of a chair double it’s price. I will be buying one for my office where I volounteer it’s that good.
At first the chair has a faulty part. However, customer service was superb and posted a new part straight away. Can’t fault their service! Comfy chair!

The only way they could improve on this chair is if they let me tip the back further. But as I’m supposed to be working in it, rather than lying down, it would be unfair to deduct a star on this basis.

One more point is that it does not easily recline. It’s a large chair and even on its lowest level, I struggle to push the rest back. I’m 5ft11 (180cm).
It would be nice to be able to lock the back rest in place.
Anyway I am very happy with this chair. Hopefully it will last a long time… I’ll be back in a year with an update!
This chair came recommended by Amazon and got a good review by a user. It is a solid, well-made product which comes with all the necessary flat-pack tools needed to put it together. That said, I found the arms heavy and difficult to assemble. If anybody has similar difficulties I recommend turning the chair on its side and screwing one of the screws into the seat without the arms. This screw can act as a guide and fulcrum. Place the arm over the screw head and swing the arm round until the hole for the second screw is visible. Then screw in the second screw – partially. Then lift the arm off the first screw head and remove the screw. Then use the second screw as a as a fulcrum to line up the first screw head hole and screw in the first screw – partially (as advised in the instructions). Then turn the chair over and do the same on the other side.
Very simple to put together if you closely follow the instructions, had it together by myself in around 20 minutes. Chair is very large, nicely padded seat and if you’re a larger lad like me the fact that the arm rests retract and there’s no side bars to dig in to your thighs is a blessing. Highly recommend this char to anyone looking for a larger, comfortable, very solid office chair.
Quick update to say I’ve owned this chair for 2 years now, sat in it upwards of 8 hours a day, especially working from home, and it’s still going strong. Stitching is fine, it’s loose on the rear side but that’s where I’ve scraped it on my desk when turning
I’m 6’4 and 18 stone (115kg) and there’s no sag when I plonk down into the chair (a common sign it’s meant for a lighter gent).
Tall, comfortable, wipe clean, looks decent. But enough about me. My girlfriend assembled it while I was at work so can’t speak on the quality of the instructions, etc, though you get 2 spare wheels. Not sure why.
It doesn’t tilt as far back as I’d like (as in slouched so much I’m practically horizontal) but it goes a decent amount whilst still being supportive.

It did take me 4 hours to put it together, However that’s probably down to my state of health, rather than the chair.
It was well worth the effort as it was a bit fiddly especially fitting the back on.
Easy to assemble. Really solid feel. No squeaking at all. Smooth wheels that don’t get stuck in the carpet. Lift up arms are great. Fabric and stitching is good quality. It’s big, but that just makes it more comfy. I’m 5’10” and my heels comfortably reach the ground on the lowest setting. This is my new throne!
There are no cons, unless you want the back to be adjustable, which it isn’t. But who wants to compete with Pewdiepie?

Feels really high quality and super sturdy. I loved the packaging of the parts, everything was neatly labelled and came with plenty of spare parts. Does need two people to put together though as it can be a little tricky at times (very easy when you have an extra set of hands though)
Excellent chair, very comfortable even after 8 long hours sat in it. Assembly was a breeze and took around 20 min, just follow the instructions and you can`t go wrong.
TIP: once you have tightened all the screws leave the cap covers off the arms, after a week or so re tighten the screws then put the caps on. Once they are on they are not easy to get off and the screws always loosen after a few days of movement.
So why 4 stars for such a nice chair? Well, the armrests much further out. I wish they had made them be as wise as the chair. As they are they extend further out. When I rest my hands on the armrests, I look like am flying so if I am typing I can only have the left hand on the armrest, if my right hand is on the armrest then it won’t reach the Keyboard meaning I can type with two hands.
Now despite that annoyance, I would still buy this chair until I find one as high as this and with flexible armrests and looking nice and comfortable and one that swivels effortlessly.
This chair is very comfortable. I’m a big fat neckbearded guy and this is the first proper chair I have ever got myself and oh boy am I glad I did. It has improved my sitting comfort immensely. It is very sturdy and when I sit back in this chair I feel totally safe. I don’t feel like the back of the chair will snap or that I might topple over backwards causing me to have to do a turtle impression trying to get back on my feet.
The armrests are very nice too. Because they are free floating there is no bar where my voluptuous thighs are which in other chairs built with petit people in mind, would dig in and be quite uncomfortable. They can also be lifted up for whatever reason.
The upholstery is very luxurious feeling. and is firm, but not too firm. Its just right so that you don’t get a numb bum but you don’t feel like your sinking into a beanbag.
Never left a review on Amazon before. But this chair is incredibly comfy, it doesn’t push back on tile/wooden floor boards. I can sit endlessly here. It’s literally exactly what I’ve been wanting in terms of very long hours of sitting at the pc.
Arrived on time, Admittedly I was a bit worried about ordering a chair like this without trying it out first. However when I sat it it I was filled with instant relief, I find it very comfortable. It took me about 20 minutes to build and no issues. All in all a very good chair for the price.

Although I bought this chair in 2018 it has had little use so I would have expected more durability on 130 chair, would I recommend this chair, probably not.
Other than that it is an excellent chair, firm and comfortable, i like the fact the arms fold up as mine is in a tight space just a pity it wears through to the cushioning so quickly.
Very big and comfy office chair. reasonably easy to assemble and i was skeptical on if it would hold my weight as i am not a light weight. but as the specs show it can hold a big guy.
Arrived today, quick and easy to assemble, sturdy, and well made. Sadly, what looks like a headrest is none, it’s not adjustable and just level with shoulders (and I am no giant at 5.7). Hight of the armrests is ok for me, but also not adjustable. A first sitting test is quite comfy.

Not easy to assemble but very comfortable would be better if back rest was adjustable but for the money good buy.
Firstly it was well packaged with each item in the box wrapped well. The instructions are a set of diagrams that make sense. Wheels click in and they give u spares. Seat stem is a pressure fit, slot in and it’s done. As others say the fiddly part is aligning the arm rests and back rest when joining. Leave all bolts loose until they are all in. Then tighten. Be careful not to cross thread, one of mine just started, you feel it after a half turn of the supplied Allen key. Resist the temptation to apply more force as the thread will be ruined. Just remove the bolt and put it in another hole mount that was already aligned with bolt in. Remove the good bolt and use that one to try again with the stubborn hole. If u twist and tilt forward the back rest a bit that tends to then line up the hole square on again. Did it on my own without too much fuss. Material seems sturdy enough with no noticeable faults. Silver paint quite thin on plastic arms but then again for the price it’s a decent chair. Arms go right up in line with back rest so u can get chair right under desktop to the back rest. All in all a good decent chair.
Matched the description and arrived a day earlier than expected.
Very prompt free delivery. Solid build and quite comfy. I would say the assembly is fairly straight forward. You definitely need 2 pairs of hands. The one part of this that i struggled with, was fitting the arms to the seat and the back. The bolt holes have no tolerance, ie. you need to be spot on when lining up the bolt. A slight countersink on the bolt holes with longer bolts would, i think, help with an easier assembly. I would suggest fitting the arms BEFORE sitting the seat onto the wheeled base. This would allow you to have the seat and back on their side while fitting the arms from above, making it easier to see and line up the bolt holes. Ensuring this is done on a soft surface, leaving the fully tightening of the bolts when assembled and then fit the caps ( a rubber hammer helps ). Songmics do provide some spare fittings, including a couple of wheels. Nice touch.
Having viewed a number of different office chairs, I settled on this one due to the great reviews it has received. I was not disappointed. The assembly was very easy given that all the nuts, bolts etc came in labelled blister packs, so assembly was very easy to follow. As for comfort, I use this every day for long hours and have not had a more comfortable chair. Highly recommend it.
Good strong chair, love the fact that I can swivel the arms out of the way when needed.
Good quality materials but the seat foam seems to be like memory foam, which, under my 114 kg weight, flattens after sitting in it for a long time, but not uncomfortably so.
I would say it’s a firm but very supportive chair and just enough tilt to lean back comfortably (and safely with the 5 leg system) when playing on the PS4.
It loses 1 star as the base unit’s edges (on the legs that have the castors on the ends) are like razors and I lost some blood building it.

The chair is a little wider than normal but the quality of the parts seem very good.

Purchased 2 of these chairs recently. Prompt good service, item comes very well packaged. They are easy to assemble and do not take long to build. Only had the chair today but I’m leaving a review based solely on the quality of materials and appearance. Very solid, great looking chair. Was easy to put together with one person. Very comfortable to sit in and the casters roll well on rug/carpet.

Admittedly I have used this chair for less than a week, but it is one of the most comfortable office chairs I have ever used, and I have high hopes that it will be durable. Construction seems solid, and it was easy to put together on my own. The key is to leave all the screws loose, and only tighten once all is in place – holes lined up perfectly. Even the heavy back was easy to put on, once I read the instructions properly, and laid it flat, starting with the upper of the two screws. It took me less than half an hour to assemble, even allowing for my cursory reading of the instructions and reversing a couple of errors / arms on backwards etc.
As previous reviewers have said, it is a large chair. I chose it specifically because I am long in the upper leg, so wanted a deep seat, which it has. It has a large/wide seat and consequently the arms are fairly widely spaced. This is fine for me, but I imagine a more petite person might find it too wide – check your needs and measurements. In my usual upright working position, my back does not rest against the chair back, although sitting back the chair supports my back nicely. I have added a lumbar support cushion which makes it damn near perfect fit when sitting forward at the desk. I guess you could argue that the ‘perfect’ chair wouldn’t need any additional cushions – I think this is simply tailoring it to my particular preferred posture.
The arms rotate upwards, so they are either in the ‘in use’ position, or tucked up alongside the seat back, enabling the chair to be tucked under the desk. In the ‘down’ position there is no problem getting close to the desk – you’d have to be pretty tiny and sitting right back on the seat for there to be any conflict there. In which case your legs would probably be sticking straight out anyway! I had thought the arms were ‘adjustable’ into various positions – this is not the case.
The tilt mechanism is just that – the whole seat + back tilt backwards, with a knob to control the resistance. It is not possible to alter the angle of the back independently, nor to lock in the tilted position. There is a control to prevent the tilt, or to release it – two options.
The only downside i’ve found so far is that the wheels are fairly free, meaning I’m slightly fearful it will wheel away from me whilst I’m in the process of sitting down. Hanging onto the arms solves that. On the plus side, it’s going to be a winner in office chair races!

I debated between 4 and 5 stars, but really the price swung it. Whilst there might be more perfect chairs out there, I doubt any of them come in for under 90. Would I have paid 160 (listed) price for it? I would probably still be out there reading reviews!

Excellent Chair exactly as described and pictured. Chair itself is very sturdy and the support of the seat, arm rests makes you want to sit upright and correctly. It took literally 15 minutes to put together, to screw the final piece of the chair (Back Panel) does require an additional person to hold one side. Perfect for what I want and good quality, though not the easiest of chairs to put together! Worth the effort and very comfortable. Some people have mentioned about the tilt bar being stiff and having trouble getting it to tilt but I haven’t found this at all. Tilt bar goes in and out easily and the chair tilt fine. Would definitely recommend this chair!

Easy to assemble quality product perfect for our office at home
Excellent. Love it. Only grouse is that is a big chair.
Took 35 minutes for me to assemble on my own, really easy. Chair itself seems good quality and if very comfortable for my back. Very pleased.
Arrived very quickly.Nicely tidy packed.Overall not bad but I`ve had better for less thus I had worse for more.Somewhat comfy.
Cons: It’s not very 1 person assembly friendly. Putting the back and the seat together alone is quite of a struggle.
I was expecting it to be quite a bit bigger.It’s not so.But imagining being bigger and the difficulty to hold the back and trying to attach the parts together I’m quite happy it’s not so.
Too firm for my liking.But comfy nevertheless.So It’s fine from this point of view.

Overall quite decent for the money.However it’s definitely not worth 160 pounds and we don’t really save this 70 pounds amazon is adverting.
Arms are wider than normal but so am I, so suits me.

I have had three chairs in 3 years, I recently returned a different chair for this one, why? Because for 20 more the quality is incredible, seriously if you need a chair for comfort and quality, you need this one. Take care of your back, this chair will.
