I’ve used the DR 40 x before but i got water on it and stopped working so I got this as a replacement. I use it to record sound foley outdoors and it’s a decent quality recorder . Does the job although the noise level is prominent so post editing is needed to remove , other than that it’s a cheap recorder feels very cheap and plastic but does what it says

Die Ton quali ist insane gut. Perfekt um eigene samples fr songs zu machen. Er misst alles was im raum passiert und trotzdem ist es ein sehr klarer sound. Mir ist er 1 mal runtergefallen und leider ist das rad fr die db einstellung direkt abgefallen. Also am besten nicht fallen lasse
E buon rapporto qualit prezzo come apparecchio e un po pratico il display piccolo quindi anche le scritte sono poco accessibile per chi usa gli occhiali e un apparecchio ottimo per registrare ce una rotellina per selezionare i vari strumenti per chi fa musica registrazione voce ha due microfoni molto sensibili in basso c’ una rotellina per aumentare i decibel del microfono e molto completo e ha il collegamento per il wifi in pi si pu collegare un microfono esterno si pu inserie un microfono, si pu mettere microfono sd da 32 e sufficiente che vi posso dire bisogna vedere per l’uso che se ne fa direi e ok.

Le seul problme rencontr concerne l’appli Wifi. a dpend des smartphones, sur mon Samsung A5 2017 impossible utiliser sauf en mode routeur, aucun problme dans les 2 modes avec un Samsung J5 et sur tablette Huawei. Dommage a lui cote une toile car pour le reste qualit audio, ergonomie c’est OK.

Pro’s good basic audio recorder and some nice features.
Good preamps.
Cons/gripes: WiFi control is not robust if you get it to work and only been able sure you and not worked via AP, though app sees it, sort of gets there but fails, so yeah, buggy.
If you use usb bus power, the backlight stays on! Not found a way to turn it off or disable and most annoying.
Bit plastic feeling and a rubber record button would be an oversight I can’t forgive.
Windows app only works if you connect direct and it cants do router mode. Better of doing usb file transfer and that works well and fast. Whole windows desktop app not been updated since release so sadly explains that.
Can’t record VBR MP3’s
Would I recommend, maybe, though if it is the WiFi feature that is tipping you towards this – don’t expect expections to be met. But it does good recordings for the price, in need of an update and not huge fan of Tascams UI, but it’s not terrible and certainly usable.
Has potential if some love was given to WiFi control and oh please do add option n to disable backlight or time it out when running on usb power, oh gosh please as it’s an issue for some use cases and is only going to short the life of backlight.
Be nice if they included a case, even basic plastic shell be cheap to add and yet add value. Also could do with better plastic as just feels let down by feel, not terrible though is a let down.
I hope they do a revised model, with 32bit float recording and then won’t have to mess with that input level control and all that agro. Oh and fix the WiFi. Please open source the app, I’d fix it if you did that as so much potential, just shame let down.
Excellent sensitivity but would recommend using a windshield with this device perfect for interviews.
Da es in den technischen Daten keine Angabe ber die Nutzung der WiFi Knle gibt, aber das Gert mit weltweiter Zulassung wirbt, wird der 2,4GHz Kanal 13 (wegen USA?) offenbar nicht untersttzt und mein Router nicht gefunden !
Da ich mir hier am Standort das Band mit 17 anderen fremden WLAN-Netzwerken teilen muss, ist ausweichen auf einen anderen Kanal, mit meinen 19 Gerten, fr mich keine Option !
L’articolo acq corrisponde alle mie necessit: registrazioni audio di strumenti musicali. Per quanto richiesto lo trovo preciso e funzionale. Per contro, lo trovo leggerino e d una sensazione di fragilit. Cos come il selettore funzioni ed il volume di ingresso, lo avrei pensato un p pi corposo. Trovo invece molta difficolt a leggere le informazioni, quali esse siano, a display.. retroilluminato rosso con grafica in nero. Ma, sar un mio problema.. ma con chi ne ho parlato, pi o meno giovane, l’impressione comune. Importante la possibilit di poterlo alimentare con un’alim esterna, io utilizzo un powerbank della qualsiasi.. il funzionamento a batteria alkalina risulta costoso. A sunto di quanto mi sono permesso di esprimere, Tascam ( Teac ) e rimane secondo me una certezza.
Great for close up instrumental recording. Has onboard reverb effect. Best part is that you can control using an app on iPhone and then send the finished recording to your phone for sharing etc.
The app can be a little buggy with random crashes but as long as you are familiar with how to quickly reset it’s not an issue. For the price, recommended.
Lo uso montato su un piccolo treppiede per registrare la mia voce da inserire nelle mie video ricette.
Devo anche aggiungere che per avere la qualit audio che cercavo devo utilizzare un microfono esterno. Non che senza il microfono esterno sia scadente, ma cos ho trovato la soluzione ideale.
Possibilit di utilizzo di una modalit base per partire subito con le registrazioni o altre modalit specifiche per diversi tipi di sorgente: voce, musica, strumenti, ecc.
Possibile l’utilizzo con smartphone via WiFi, ma ho riscontrato problemi e quindi non uso questa funzione, che per me superflua. Tutto sommato giudizio pi che positivo.

Comoda la sua funzione Wi-Fi che in certe occasioni utilissima, ottimo il selettore con le impostazioni per le diverse situazioni da registrare. Meno il testo dei men che davvero piccolo per uno schermo cos grande offrirei la possibilit di scelta all’utente.

Le WiFi est un avantage dterminant pour ce type d’utilisation, parce qu’il permet de placer l’appareil au plus prs de l’intervenant et de dclencher les phases d’enregistrement/pause/arrt distance sur le smartphone. Du coup, plus vraiment besoin de perdre du temps en post-prod pour dcouper les parties intressantes avec Audacity.
La carte microSD d’origine fait 4 Go. C’est largement suffisant pour de la voix en MP3 320k. C’est un peu juste pour de la musique en WAV ou BWF 24 bits.
L’autonomie sur 2 piles AA NiMH est trop limite pour des confrences longues (une journe) avec le WiFi activ en permanence, surtout parce que l’enregistreur coupe le WiFi ds que l’autonomie tombe en dessous de 25%.
Donc je l’utilise avec quelques accessoires :
* un petit trpied pour l’isoler du sol et l’orienter correctement
* une powerbank (compter 2500 mAh de conso pour 8h00 avec WiFi activ. la mienne a une capacit de 10000 mAh et c’est trs confortable pour un week-end complet)
* une bonnette pour les prises de son extrieures
* et un sac ou une mallette pour stocker tout a.
Modle solide : Je l’ai laiss tomb d’une hauteur de +/- 1 m sur un parquet en bois, et aucun dommage, aucune trace de l’impact. Par contre la molette “input level” a saut et il a fallu la chercher, la trouver, et la r-emmancher sa place.
Le wifi est trs pratique pour des endroits difficile d’accs.
Die Qualitt der Aufnahmen ist ziemlich gut. Ich verwende es gelegentlich an meinem Flgel.
Die App ist allerdings zumindest fr Android nicht ganz ausgereift.
Dennoch ist es eine Erleichterung, da man das Gert mit einem Stativ gut positionieren kann und aus der Ferne die Aufnahmen starten kann.
Ha fatto egregiamente il suo lavoro, in condizioni veramente difficili: cori in chiesa con gli inevitabili echi, parlato a basso volume degli sposi e del prete, ecc. Mi servir per integrare il sonoro della videocamera quando questo si riveler insufficiente.
Prima della registrazione l’ho provato con un microfono direzionale Rode (vedi recensione a parte) e delle cuffie Sennheiser (ovviamente altra ottima caratteristica del prodotto avere i due ingressi aggiuntivi per mic/cuffie), cosa molto utile per capire bene il funzionamento e scegliere i settaggi pi adatti alla registrazione che si intende fare.
Non do cinque stelle solo perch a mio parere ci sono due piccole pecche: 1) il display, che s molto definito, ma piccolo e strapieno di informazioni, quindi non di facile lettura, soprattutto se dovete agire e cambiare dei settaggi al volo; 2) la plastica del corpo, che non d quell’impressione di qualit che il prodotto si meriterebbe, risulta infatti abbastanza ‘plasticoso’ e pi fragile di quello che magari (spero di non doverlo mai verificare).

Lo he pedido para hacer grabaciones de los ensayos de mi grupo y la verdad es que no puedo estar mas contento con la compra. La calidad de grabacin es increble y la posibilidad de control remoto, fantastica!!. Con tu movil accedes a todas las funciones de la grabadora.

Rispetto al prezzo relativamente ridotto di 130, la qualit buona, considerando che con la stessa cifra solitamente si acquista un semplice microfono dinamico. Comoda la funzione WI-FI. Il corpo in plastica e per quanto i colori siano piacevoli e resistenti, la sensazione quella di avere tra le mani un prodotto un po’ fragile. Essenziale un supporto per non interferire con il suono delle dita durante la registrazione. Il rapporto segnale/rumore strettamente legato all’utilizzo del gain microfonico. Anche l’out line/cuffia sembra avere un po di fruscio se si esagera con il volume in uscita: necessario pertanto tenerne conto se usiamo il registratore direttamente collegato a una videocamera. Il posizionamento XY delle capsule un buon compromesso, ma nelle videoproduzioni preferibile nelle riprese ambientali, piuttosto che nel parlato che richiederebbe un microfono shotgun.
Someone said instructions were not very helpful. The very informative manual can be down loaded in PDF format from the internet. The recorder is easy to use. It is just a matter of getting used to changing things on the menu screen. Great quality and very versatile.
Schon sehr ntzlich klangqualitt sehr gut. Problematisch ist das die Eingangsregelung nicht sehr weit runter regelbar ist. Benutze das Teil zum aufnehmen im Club und da ist das Eingangssignal meisstens zu stark und es ist leider nicht ausreichend runterregelbar, Glck wenn man am Mischpult dann noch ein regelbaren Line-Out Ausgang hat.
Coolwre auch ein eingebautes Akku, das Ding frisst schon Batterien wenn kein USB zur Hand ist.

Ho provato a registrare audio parlato anche con sottoforndo rimoroso ottenendo un ottimo risultato, poi ho importato audio in Imovie e con il filtro rimore di fondo sono riuscito a regolare bene il risultato cercato
ottimo registratore digitale, semplice da usare e facilmente intuitivo. Registrazioni eccellenti, sopratutto, nella modalit chitarra. Il tutto controllabile dallo smartphone, con app da scaricare…….consigliatissimo

Ich verwende das Tascam DR-22WL um Musikproben aufzunehmen und anschlieend festzustellen was zu verbessern ist. Hier leistet das Gert sehr gute Dienste. Der Klang ist beim Abspielen ber den PC oder Laptop sehr gut.
Ho trovato questo registratore in offerta e sicuramente sono stati soldi spesi bene.
Stavo per spende di pi (comunque sempre per Tasca o Zoom) ma vedendolo a 122 euro ho voluto informarmi.
Tascam si conferma marchio di qualit e affidabilit; ha tantissime funzioni e ci vorr un po’ di tempo per prendere maneggevolezza con tutti i comandi ma vi assicuro che il risultato sar una registrazione chiara e pulita.
Bene anche le funzioni wifi e la app per gestirlo da remoto.
Testato in una stanza con pi persone temevo che il microfono stereo avrebbe registrato di tutto, invece si comportato benissimo dando rilievo alla voce della persona che parlava attenuando automaticamente i picchi di volume.
Veramente un ottimo acquisto.
Se pu servire su YouTube ci sono molte demo che possono dare un’ idea della qualit di registrazione.

Das erste Update von 1.22 nach 2.00 funktionierte noch.Aber es gab ein Problem mit der DR Control AP.Meldung Software zu alt.
Nach Rcksprache mit dem Tascam Service wurde mir ein update auf die neuste 2.10 empfohlen.Jetzt habe ich keine Probleme mehr.
Mit dieser Software kann man den Recoder auch auf Deutsch u.Andere einstellen.
Ich werde den DR-22WL in erster Linie fr die Nachvertonung in einem Video Schnittprogramm einsetzen.
Spter auch fr Tonaufnahmen mit meiner Nikon DLSR.
Ottimo registratore io lo uso per registrare da un mixer. Ho dovuto comprare un attenuatore di db per avere una registrazione ottimale poich molto sensibile.

Lo consiglio a viaggiatori
Aufgrund des anwenderfreundlichen Bedienungskonzeptes lassen sich auch von Newbies sehr schnell gute Aufnahmen machen. Man muss sich dazu nicht in die Tiefen einer Bedienungsanleitung begeben.
Die WLAN Einbindung ist meiner Meinung nach das herausragende Feature des Gertes. Mithilfe der Tascam-App lsst sich das Gert vom Smartphone steuern, so dass das herumhantieren am Gert entfllt. Die entsprechenden Gerusche entfallen, die Bedienung wird, vor allem wenn man sich (und andere) aufnehmen will erheblich stressfreier. Nicht zu unterschtzen ist auch die bessere Ablesbarkeit der Einstellungen an der App , die Ablesung auf den Display des Gertes ist fr mich aufgrund meiner nachlassenden Sehkraft schon mhsam.
Im WLAN Betrieb ist der Stromverbrauch hoch, die Anschaffung eines Netzteiles oder einer Powerbank zu empfehlen. Man sollte beim Aufnehmen auch den Ruhemodus des Smartphones ausschalten und den Flugmodus einschalten. Die Aufnahme kann per WLAN auch auf das Gert bertragen werden und dort mit entsprechenden Apps bearbeitet oder verteilt werden. So knnen alle Beteiligten einer Probe das Ergebnis sofort auf dem eigenen Gert mit nach Hause nehmen und anhren.
Aufgrund des 1/4 Zoll-Gewindes braucht man zu Befestigung an einem Mikrofonstative entweder einen Adapter, oder man nutzt einen Kameragriff aus dem Angebot der Foto-Abteilung mit entsprechendem Gewinde, den man in eine Mikrofon-klemme stecken kann. Er gibt ein Original-Zubehrset mit Netzteil, Griff und Windschutz, welches mir aber etwas berteuert erscheint.

Ottimo prodotto come da aspettative. L’ho gi testato e devo dire che funziona egregiamente. Nessuna difficolt a collegarlo al computer, mentre con l’applicazione di Android ho qualche difficolt nella comunicazione tra i dispositivi.
Un apparecchio utlissimo , forse consuma un po troppa batteria quando lo si utilizza con il il Bluetooth ma vi assicuro che la fedelta’ altissima in particolare se si registra suuna consolle tipo mixer ..

Arrivato in brevissimo tempo..consegna perfetta come sempre. Registra ottimamente ed anche piuttosto facile da usare. Ancora non ho provato la funzione wifi.
Ottimo registratore, veramente soddisfatto. Lo uso per registrare prove e concerti della banda dove suono, la qualit molto buona. Lo uso praticamente sempre controllandolo tramite l’app android, non ha mai perso un colpo. L’unica osservazione che il WiFi consuma molte batterie, una coppia di alkaline dura si e no un’ora e mezza. Per essere sicuro di non restare a piedi lo alimento con una batteria USB.

Wie oben aufgefhrt handelt es sich beim Tascam um einen linearen Pulse-Code-Modulations-Rekorder. Dieser wurde von mir fr die Aufnahme von Chorproben angeschafft. Wenn man einige Punkte bercksichtigt ist der Rekorder dafr auch sehr gut geeignet.
Der Rekorder wurde sehr schnell (innerhalb 24h) geliefert und war ausreichend verpackt. Im Lieferumfang befindet sich ein Satz Batterien, ein Micro-USB-Kabel (wie die meisten Smartphones es verwenden), eine bereits installierte 2 GB SD-Karte und eine Anleitung.
Haptik und Anwendung
Das Gert ist gut verarbeitet. Lediglich der Drehschalter fr den Input-Level macht einen etwas “flexiblen” Eindruck. Auch sind viele Umdrehungen notwendig um den Level (Empfindlichkeit fr Aufnahmen) signifikant zu erhhen. Ab ca. 70 bis 75 % tritt ein leichtes Hintergrundrauschen bei den Aufnahmen ein. Hier sollte entgegen der Empfehlung in der Anleitung, nicht gleich so hoch wie mglich eingepegelt werden. Mit knapp 70 % im “Musik-Profil” erreiche ich fr meine Bedrfnisse bessere Ergebnisse als im reinen Easy-Mode (EZ). Hier gilt es jedoch, dass fr einen selbst beste Setup auszuloten. Bei vokalen Aufnahmen im Musikbereich empfiehlt es sich brigens den Rekorder auf die Kopfhhe des Interpreten zu bringen. Ein Stativ mit 1/4-Zoll-Gewinde ist hier erforderlich. Auerdem bietet sich eine Mindestentfernung von 60 cm (maximal 200 cm) zur “Soundquelle” an.
Aufzeichnung erfolgt in meinem Fall brigens im Dualmodus (WAV und MP3) mit aktivierter PEAK-Funktion. Eine WAV-Datei mit 44,1 k bei 16 bit ist bei einem Lied von ca. 3:50 min um die 38-40 MB gro.
WLAN
Die WLAN-Funktion erachte ich als einen ungemeinen Mehrwert in Punkto “usability”. Sie ist mehr als ein rudimentres Feature. Die getestete Reichweite mit meinem Handy (Sony Xperia Z3) betrgt gut 7-10 m (Effektivbereich). Das lstige und strende Rumhpfen und Vorjustieren vor den Sngern des Chores entfllt somit. Ich lasse zustzlich einen MP3-Stream (Dualformataufnahme) ber WLAN an mein Z3 bermitteln und kann dort mittels Kopfhren (am Phone) bereits in die Aufnahme hineinhren. Diese Funktion fordert natrlich ihren Preis. Die Batterien sind somit innerhalb von 1:15 h restlos aufgebraucht. Kein Problem. Direkt am Stativ befestige ich mit M3-Pads, Klett oder einfach Tape eine Powerbank (19,99 Euro) mit mehr als 10.000 ma. ber das mitgelieferte USB-Kabel verbinde ich somit Bank und Rekorder ohne viel Aufwand. Ich habe bereits 3h Wlan-Dauerbetrieb erreicht und noch immer signifikante Restkapazitten in der Powerbank (plus die unverbrauchten Batterien im Rekorder). Bei eingelegten Batterien und USB-Powerverbindung liegt die Versorgungsprioritt brigens auf der USB-Schnittstelle.
Zusammenfassung Pro`s und Con`s
Pro
– gute Aufnahmequalitt mit den internen Mics
– stabile WLAN-Verbindung mit Z3
– gute Bedienbarkeit ber WLAN mit der aktuellen DR Controll-App (18.05.2016)
Cons
– Laufzeit WLAN im Batteriebetrieb nur um die 1h (Powerbank dringend empfohlen!)
– Keine Ladefunktion ber USB (bei Akkus)
– Keine Schnellstartfunktion wenn das Gert aus ist. “Hold to activate” dauert ber 4 Sekunden
– Zu viel Umdrehungen notwendig um Inputlevel schnell zu erhhen

Wenn bei einer Chorprobe auch ein begleitendes Klavier eingesetzt werden soll, sollte man ein paar Dinge beachten.
1. Das Klavier sollte mind. genausoweit wie die Snger (Kopfseite) vom Rekorder an der “Fuseite” aufgebaut werden
2. Sollte dies platztechnisch nicht mglich sein kann man versuchen das Klavier mit ein paar Matten “abzudmmen”. Besser ist hier jedoch auf etwas mehr Abstand zu achten.
Ignoriert man dies (und baut den Rekorder zu nahe am Klavier auf) kann es dazu fhren, dass die Snger vom Klavier zu stark domminiert werden. Die Vocals sind dann nur leises “Beiwerk”. Eine nachtrgliche Absenkung der Klavierlautstrke ist fr den normalen Anwender in der Nachbearbeitung am PC fast unmglich zu bewerkstelligen.

Fantastico, semplice da usare anche per neofita. Ottimo il controllo remoto da smartphone quando sei un componente della scena da registrare col mic posizionato al meglio; utilissimo per regolazione livello, start/stop tracks e/o inserimento markers!

Per la fascia di prezzo, un prodotto molto valido. Ho per dovuto farlo sostituire, perch aveva dei difetti di funzionamento. In ogni caso tutto risolto.
It was only when I got the Olympus LS-P2 that I realised that things didn’t have to be this hard. Files on the Olympus are simply transferred using an inbuilt USB plug, it’s obvious when I’m recording a new track, not overdubbing an old one, the menus and buttons are simple and logical to understand and incredibly, the unit is a fraction of the size of the Tascam. Best til last- the sound on the Olympus beats the Tascam for voice and acoustic instruments, in my opinion.
One extra star for overdub facility – the Olympus has none.

La registrazione attivata da cellulare via wifi comodissimo, il registratore funziona benissimo, facile impostarlo anche per un profano come me
La frequenza di campionamento ed il bit rate sono di livello profi, all’atto pratico, le registrazioni sono molto realistiche e riproducono l’ambientazione audio originaria, anche dal punto di vista della dislocazione degli interlocutori. Naturalmente occorre adoperare i necessari accorgimenti, indipendenti dallo strumento ma specifici per il settore.
Qualche appunto sul FW, in particolare per la parte WiFi e streaming, che confido siano in fase di perfezionamento nei laboratori SW di TEAC, che spero emettano un aggiornamento quanto prima.

Antes utilizaba siempre un micrfono lavalier conectado a la grabadora del iPhone. Ahora puedo utilizar el mismo micro con esta grabadora, pero la grabacin ambiental es tan limpia que la mayora de las veces ni lo uso.
You can record in WAV and or Mp 3 and transfer to a pc very easily via the usb cable. Sound quality is very good. It can be controlled by your phone via Bluetooth and set on a standard tripod near the stage.
