Looks good and has a good sound. The only concern is having to drill the back plate to screw to the wall (which I have done). The instructions don’t describe this- simply stick it to the wall with the enclosed sticky pad. Yet screws and rawlplugs are provided for drilling and fixing. I have doubts that it will survive outside for 3 years having drilled it to fix to wall.
A cradle would be an improvement, this could be drilled without affecting the resistance to weather.

For the price I can’t really complain about this bell. It does exactly what I need it to do and there are some many ring tunes to choose from, I love annoying my husband by changing them.

Excellent design re installation – stick on front door, plus into socket, works.
Love not needing to link it to broadband/Wifi, etc, just plug and go.
Last one (identical) died after 3yrs so hoping this one does a bit better – time will tell

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSuperb product lives exactly up to its description. However, 4+years later & it has stopped working. I now find the built in battery is irreplaceable, meaning I need to buy a whole new product. The plug in receiver is as good as new but now redundant. More plastic in landfill.

Did some research, this seemed to be best item with Best value. It is a great product, highly recommended, easy to set up but advise just to follow instructions – proved to be easy & simple. I recommended this item, set up in less than 5 minutes.

The bell was vey easy to install, no batteries needed, actual bell comes with a battery. 4 volume levels, can have it on flashing only. Melodies aren’t the best, but has a lot to choose from, so you should find one that you like. I installed the bell using the adhesive supplied, it has rained a lot and the bell is still secure.

So far it’s perfect, I will connect it today and update my review if needed.
It has 32 different sounds, I took a video for two minutes if you would like to watch it.
3 years warranty if you register the first 90 days which is cool.

You can choose if you want the lights with the sound or just the sound with the 3 buttons on the left side.(check photo)

For me, the volume of the sound it’s alright, I recorded the lowest volume in the video because I live in a flat and it’s the middle of the day.

    So far it's perfect.

I’m quite happy with my TECKNET Wireless Doorbell. The number of ringtones to choose from is impressive. The doorbell always works, and I’ve never experienced any issues with it failing to ring when someone is at the door. The sound is also loud enough to be heard throughout my three-story house, which is great.

At less than 10 this door bell is amazingly good value. It was installed and working within 2 minutes and the choice of ring notes is exceptional. It is robust and looks good and I can elicit no faults. I would recommend the item unreservedly.

I brought this to replace a faulty wired doorbell. It was cheap, had good reviews and I am not disappointed
It would get 5 stars but the tones are slightly tinny and the instructions, although not really needed, are lacking in English. Like many instructions it gives a variety of languages but the English version does not mention how to activate or install the pushbutton – looked at the German diagram and worked it out. Arrived in a day, fitted in 3 minutes.

The tecknet door bell has the loudest volume than most other door bells, the receiver lights up when door button sender is pressed, the door bell is fantastic for me as being a senior citizen with hearing problems i can hear the chimes quite a distance away like being in the garden for instance, It has a lot of chime’s music to chose from simple to install and it was a fast next day delivery through Amazon. well pleased

I bought a single chime by mistake, after advice about getting another single chime/receiver and being able to pair them i was very pleased with the support i received from the supplier.
The 2 chimes are working well and we’ve now got a transmitter on the back door.

A very nice neat unit. The bell-push lights up blue when pressed…useful when battery runs out.
The actual ‘ringer’ is discrete and not too large but loud enough for most homes.
The fact that the product is guaranteed for 3 years merely by registering it on-line is a tremendous benefit as many of these bells (not Tecknet!) fail after a year or so.
We are very pleased with this unit and it’s price was very reasonable for a unit with so many features.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI already have a wired doorbell but it’s now not audible in the new extension and rear garden. This solves that problem, although I now have two bell pushes, but it was easier to install rather than wire in an extension to the existing.

I’m pleased with it as it works at quite a distance and the signal passes through several walls. Good choice of bell tones, also with or without light operation when plugged into a socket . The chosen settings remain if moved from socket to socket.

It’s good value and fair quality. Gave 4 * stars for ‘weatherproof’ since I won’t know because my bell push is located undercover in the porch, but it is designed to prevent ingress of water so should be effective.

Very easy to fit, comes with 3M pad and screws too. Plug in the receiver and you get a ding dong for power on remove the plastic strip from bell push and it all just works, can’t be any easier. The tunes are a little “scratchy” but they are loud and plentiful. Overall it just does what it has to. I can’t vouchsafe for weatherproofing but there is an internal seal on the bell push and it looks like it will withstand out liquid sunshine. Very good.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersIt comes in two pieces; the bell push and the ringer for indoors. The ringer has three buttons in a vertical line; the top button to select; sound and light when pressed, light only or sound only. Firstly simply plug the ringer into a plug socket and press the top button to select your preference as above. The second button for scrolling through and selecting one of the many sounds and the bottom button to select one of four volume amounts.
The bell push can be mounted outside your front door either by the two screws and raw plugs included or by the double-sided tape also included. Pull the clear plastic tag out of the bell push and adhere the bell push in the location you prefer. Simple!
Incidentally you can change power socket locations and the ringer will keep the settings previously chosen.

I’ve received numerous (automated!) invitations by the manufacturer to write a review for this product. So, partly out of kindness and partly out of respect for the Amazon review system, which I personally use fairly regularly, here goes …
This wireless doorbell seems to work well – you press the button and it rings! Products like this don’t get much better. It has an immense number of rather irritating different tunes – but the default is a simple ‘ding-dong’ which, at least for me, seems to do the job. The volume is loud enough for our average sized house and in the month that it’s been working, it hasn’t dropped signal once. As always with these type of devices, the only question is “How long will it last?” The last one I had (not from this manufacturer) lasted a couple of years before the switch broke mechanically. The door bell before that (and it was an electro-mechanical bell) lasted more than 30 years. But times change. Bottom line: on my experience so far, I would highly recommend this wireless doorbell. It does the job, seems to be reasonably well made and is sold at a good price. It’s also dead easy to install (instructions included).

In my previous review I had put one star because the doorbell stopped working as it should, the problem is that it doesn’t work at the distance it should.

After posting the review, an agent from the company contacted me to apologise for the problem with the product and offered me a refund, so I think it is right to raise my review because of the good treatment received from the after-sales team.

Works well although range through walls isn’t as good as expected.

Very loud and easy to fix button but chimer pretty large to plug into a socket.

Also, there’s far too many chime variations for me but each to their own.

  76. RegenaEqsx says:

Good value for money. Only negative is that most of the ringtones are terrible (not proper doorbell tones) and speaker quality isn’t good enough (tin can sound) for most of the chimes at higher volume. However there are a few proper volume/ringtone combinations that work.

We could not hear a knock in the door in our apartment. We missed a couple of deliveries when we were home to receive them. I bought this really cheap fix, and it works very well. The volume is adjustable, plugged in without reading the directions, and stuck the ringer to the door. Money well spent. I don’t know who would use many of the pre-programmed chimes – they are painful to my ears. I have it set to a simple ding-dong, and it’s fine. Recommend it 100%

I’ve put just one star for weather proof. Mainly because the button ringer component has two thin but nearly full width slits in the case that would immediately allow water entry if this was rained on. Then there’s the other reason for one star for weatherproofing: I only just received it recently and so I’ve been asked too soon. It’s not rained yet.

I’ve had 7 years of frustrations with a 1byone battery operated door bell (second photo).

Sometimes, the bell would ring for no reason (other bells in the neighbourhood?). Sometimes, the door bell button would not register a press so I had to place a label saying “press hard several times”. Sometimes, even if it did register a press, the receiver would not ring (so I soldered wire to the transmitter to act as better antenna and placed the receiver on the window two floors above). But most of the time, once every 5-6 months, the bell would stop working with no warning and I’d have to replace all the batteries.

Anyway, a new doorbell was long overdue, so I ordered this one after much research, which I have now been using for 8 months straight through a very cold winter and hot summer, and not once has it failed.

    Pros:
    – Loud ringing
    – Has worked every time for the last 8 months of use
    – Has a proper aerial coil unlike my previous one which was using a PCB track as an aerial (see the coil in the first photo vs. the top of the circuitry in the second)
    – The receiver is plugged two floors up and one room in from the front door of a new build (roughly 15m from the transmitter) without any issues

    Cons:
    – None. It just works. All the time.

My learning: don’t get a battery receiver, get a mains one. I highly recommend this door bell if you don’t want missed delivery anxiety.

After years of frustration with other wireless doorbells, this one just works!

Just got this to replace an earlier Friedland. Worked well out of the box. It came with screws to fix the push button to the door, but no holes in the case. I had to drill these. Instructions very small, but reasonably clear. Easy to select different “tunes” but you have to go right round rather than able to both forward and backward round the choices. Volume change easy. It remains to be seen how waterproof the bell push is, but it looks like it should be OK. Range was perfectly adequate for my house. I have the receiver in the kitchen on the other side of the house to the front door.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI bought this to replace an old battery powered door bell that had seen better days.

I only really had one requirement, and that was that replacement needed to have a ‘ding dong’ sound and the TECKNET wireless doorbell ticked that box.

There’s not really much to say about doorbells, there are dozens to choose from and it’s mostly a matter of price or style preference. This one works well and has lot of options for different bell noises if you want them – some of them are ok but others are pretty cheesy.

The bell push has a good positive action, there’s no doubt when you press it, it gives a nice click feedback. The LED is disappointing though and it’s not very bright and only really visible at night. I put a fresh battery in just in case but this didn’t improve matters. It’s a compromise between battery life and visibility, which makes sense.

Fittings are supplied for screwing the bell push to wall or frame, or you can fix it using a sticky pad. I used the sticky pad option and it’s very good on a uPCV door frame. Time will tell how it holds up to rain and sunshine but it feels very solidly stuck.

Everything worked straight out of the box and was fitted in 5 minutes.

    The good:
    * Nice big bell push that’s hard to miss
    * Decent volume
    * Good price

    The bad:
    * Bell push LED isn’t very bright

I’m pretty happy with this doorbell, it works well, has plenty of options and looks pretty good too. I’d give it 5 stars if the LED was brighter.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI actually bought this as a temporary solution, my wired doorbell had stopped working. I just wanted to something cheap that works. I also wanted a plug in because I didn’t want to have to use batteries. I had never heard of Tecknet before but chose it because it was cheap and came with high ratings.

I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised, and so I am happy I chose this chime. It was so easy to install, so much so I didn’t even have to read the instructions. The chime (receiver) is plug and play, hassle free, no fuss. The buzzer (transmitter) comes with screws and 3M adhesive. For the install I chose the 3M adhesive option instead of screws and I can confirm the buzzer is firmly held in place, no sign of it budging.

The range between the doorbell buzzer and the chime itself is very decent with no signal interference, I live in a flat and there are 2 doors between the buzzer and the chime, with a distance of roughly 15 meters between buzzer and chime. I have read from other reviews that the wireless frequency with this model are all the same so if you neighbour has the same doorbell and their buzzer is pressed your chime will ring. This is something however I can’t confirm but something to bear in mind.

Even though this is suppose to be a temporary doorbell I am very happy with it, my only issue with it is I feel it could be a bit louder. However I live in a one bed flat so this isn’t much of an issue as I can hear it no matter where I am in the flat. Another thing to note is that since this is a plug in, you will have make sure where you plan on placing it there is a spare wall socket.

Over all this is a very good product, decent build quality with moderate features and excellent value for money. I can confidently recommend it. Hope this helps.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersIf you’re living in a house that used to have a doorbell and now it won’t work then this product is a one way for you. Me and my flatmate rent a flat, our front door has a doorbell but that last time anyone must heard it chiming must have been in the 90’s. This product is an inexpensive and effective solution to the lack of a proper doorbell in the house.

Setting it up takes a couple of minutes really, just remove the battery protection tab, stick the button unit on your door using the provided double sided adhesive tab, plug the speaker on to a mains plug, set your preferred chime and volume and job is done. It is surpisingly weather proof as it has sustained a good amount of rainstorms during these last couple of months that is in use.

It looks great, does the job properly, easy to set up and it is very cheap. Easy, cheap and durable doorbell solution.

    UPDATE 3 years later:
I moved from the house and the doorbell still works! Haven’t changed any batteries on the door unit and it withstood 3 full years of harsh outdoor elements like rain and snow. The Sticky tab also withstood and was easy to remove from the door leaving no marks at all.
I cannot praise this product enough, this is one of the best remote doorbells in the market!

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersLiked:
    – Nice selection of tunes
    – Easy installation with both strong double sided tape and traditional screws with fixings included
    – Lightweight and modern looking
    – Easy to setup
    – Bare minimum packaging to save the environment 🙂
    – Good value for money
    – UK plug

    Disliked
    – I wouldn’t trust the double sided tape due to exposure to environment so a drill is needed depending on where you intend to install it.

The packaging is really good and minimal so kudos for achieving it. Like others have reiterated, don’t forget to pull the little tab from the receiver. The selection tune is huge and I’m sure you will find one which suits. The volume is loud enough for my small flat 🙂

    Verdict:
Definitely an excellent wireless doorbell at this price point.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis doorbell consists of a main unit, which neatly plugs into any 3-pin wall socket, and a doorbell, which you can place almost anywhere – at the door, in the garage, and anywhere else you fancy. It’s easily unplugged and set up in another place, so (for example) my wife suffers a slight disability and is not always confident getting in and out of the bath. Placing this unit in my garage (for instance) while she keeps the bell push in the bathroom, will alert me, if she falls or has another mishap – a bit like a child-alarm for grownups. Very useful.

The item arrived neatly packaged in a small cardboard box. There’s a label that says it’s recyclable (the box), so that’s a good touch in these anti-plastic times.

I fixed the bell push to the front door, using screws provided, an easy job (you have to open the bell-push casing and make two holes through the back of the bell-push box itself (these are readily marked, and a small screwdriver easily creates the holes through the thin plastic backing casing. From there, any competent DIyer will have no trouble affixing the bell push – in fact it took me less than 3 minutes to fix it to my door. Screws are provided in the kit and also some rawlplugs, in case you’d rather fix to a brick/concrete surface.

The bells, the bells…52 of them, and you can ‘scroll’ through each one, to ascertain which one you would like to setup. Obviously, you can change the tones at any time, so you might have Beethoven as a chime, or Big Ben – depend

s on your taste, and whether you like changing the tones, which is straightforward. Despite trying several tones, I erred on the safe side and chose the basic ‘ding-dong’ instead of the 1812 Overture, which I preferred (until I grow up, apparently, according to the missus). That said, it’s nice to change the tones to suit the mood, or impress others, so a thumbs-up for giving us the choice here. One nice touch would have been to list the tones available on the instuction sheet, but that’s a very tiny point, and I’m sure you’ll have as much fun as I did, when going through the tones!

The item description on Amazon states ‘no batteries’ but there is a small battery in the bell push housing – should last for years though, considering people who visit us simply walk straight in anyway. Another minor niggle, but kudos to the manufacturer for including that battery.

I fixed the button to the door while it was raining, but as it’s inside a porch, I couldn’t really judge the weather-resistant factor that the manufacturer states. However, as the button is totally enclosed within its plastic housing, there really is no reason for weatherr to be a problem, so again, I’m confident it will withstand the test of time.

So, all in all, a nice little kit that alerts you to visitors, with a loud enough chime to hear when in the garden, for example. It has a range of at least 200 metres (I used an extension lead in the garden to test it, well away from the button) and I am confident the 300 metre mark is correct (manufacturer’s claim).

It’s a talking point, kids will love playing with the tones, it can be fixed anywhere at the drop of a hat and it has a neon blue flashing function when someone is at the door. I just have to wait for someone to visit now!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI’ve been getting fed-up with having to purchase a new doorbell nearly every 12 months, from batteries in the button going dead too quick to failing to work after a few months, it just seems the market is a bit flooded with poor quality doorbells.

My biggest gripe with previous doorbells is the button getting stuck in after some heavy handed delivery driver feels the harder he presses it the louder it will be or the quicker you’ll answer the door.

This doorbell is none of the above, it works exactly like it should, there is a vast selection of chimes (although I promise you you’ll only consider about 6 of the offerings as most are terrible) and the bell push button never gets stuck in, a far better design all round compared to a few of the rivals out there.

There is a handy variable loudness control and both the receiver and bell press have a blue ring that flashes when activated, I’m writing this review a good 12 weeks after purchasing it and so far it has been faultless.

Golden Review Award: 66 From Our UsersOur house is an old, stone-built place with very thick exterior walls. Our old wireless doorbell (bought from a local supermarket) was rather hit-and-miss: partly too quiet, partly the battery-powered receiver losing power, partly range issues through the thick walls. But the worst issue was that the pushbutton was a sort of rubber dome. Often, if someone pressed it with a ‘heavy finger’, the button would get stuck – and future presses would not register until I pried the awful rubber button free. We have missed many, many deliveries because of that dreadful doorbell; I wanted to install a ‘proper’ wired doorbell, but getting the wires routed through all the stone walls was going to be an issue.

So, in the end, I decided to give wireless one last try and purchased this Tecknet doorbell. It arrived in decent packaging – a nice, tidy, sturdy little box, well-packed in a padded envelope. Despatch and delivery was very prompt (next day), and thankfully our old doorbell hadn’t got stuck, so the courier managed to get it to us. The item arrived in pristine condition.

Installation was very straightforward – for the bellpush, I just had to pull out the little tag which keeps the battery disconnected in transit, and then I opted to attach it to the door using the provided double-sided peel-and-stick foam tape. I carefully cleaned the area of the door with isopropanol first, and it has stuck firmly – seems like a good bond. Screws and fixings are included as well. The receiver was operational as soon as I plugged it in; there are a few options to configure, but the default settings are reasonable. Hint: configure the receiver before mounting the bellpush, it will save you a lot of to-and-fro! Configuring the receiver is done by three buttons on its side: one cycles through the chime (I opted for the default ‘ding dong’), one cycles through the loudness (I opted for maximum, which is a good level and noticeably louder than the predecessor) and the last cycles through the brightness of the visul indicator – I left this alone, as the receiver is plugged in in a location where it is not easily visible. It is slightly annoying to have just one button per setting – if you ‘miss’ the setting you want you have to cycle through all the options again. Next/previous buttons would have been nice, but then it only takes a minute or two and you only ever have to do it once – and, as mentioned, it actually works fine right out of the box with no configuration.

As to performance, the system works really well. The bellpush works perfectly – it even lights up when pressed, although this is not easily seen in full sunlight. The button shows no propensity to get ‘stuck’, and has a much better ‘click’ action than the old spongy rubber of the predecessor. In spite of our thick stone exterior walls and even interior stone walls, I had no problem locating the receiver – it seemed to work wherever I plugged it in; range seems to be no concern at all. Having the receiver be mains-powered rather than battery-powered is a great convenience – not only is the output louder, but there is no need to worry about a flat battery making the receiver inaudible. The bellpush is powered by a 12V 23A alkaline battery (included in the packaging). Although this is a slightly unusual battery, it seems to be quite easy to get, either at the local supermarket or on Amazon (you can get a pack of 5 for under 4). It is easy to pop off the cover with a fingernail when you need to change the battery – even if you have terrible fingernails, like me. The battery itself is located in a position which makes it easy to change – a sensible layout and design.

Overall I am very satisfied with the system. My previous bell had left me thinking that wireless doorbells were worthless, and had resulted in so many missed deliveries. But no more: I am anticipating a much better relationship with the various couriers who come around from time to time. I wish I hadn’t ‘lived with’ the old bell for so long before going for this replacement. Highly recommended – especially at the price.

Works Perfectly Even Through Thick Stone Walls

Golden Review Award: 50 From Our UsersDoorbell came quickly and well protected (frustration free package). The package contains:
    1* main receiver
    1* Transmitter(battery provided)
    1* User Manual
    1* Warranty Card
    1* Double-sided adhesive tape
    2* screw kit with anchors

I find the installation very easy. Attached it to the front door frame with the tape without any hassle. And all I need to do is plug in the main unit to the electrical socket. Jobs done. Simple. I can plug it everywhere in my house thanks to the excellent 300 operational transmitting range.

It is a nicely designed Doorbell. The white color main body with blue flashing LED light is my favorite. Pure classic and stylish. Both units are built with solid plastic. Looks very strong and sturdy to me. I think it should last ages with this good quality.

The speaker sounds very crispy clear and loud. There are 50+ melodies that you can choose which is great. And you can select four different volume levels by pressing the buttons on the left of the main receiver.

This is an amazing doorbell with a beautiful and solid body. I would definitely recommend it to everyone. 5 stars bargain!

    Beautiful and Brilliant Doorbell!

Golden Review Award: 60 From Our UsersBought this bell to my Mother as I realised she wouldn’t hear her current one when she is outside or a room away from the current fixed one. My favourite part of this product is the ability to increase the volume to one’s preference.

The product arrived in typical Tecknet packaging – a small, compact cardboard box that serves its purpose very well. You are provided with the mains module, the doorbell, screws, warranty and a guide.

The plug part has an led to indicate when the bell has been rung, this is great for people who prefer a visual alert or have hearing difficulties.
Overall, for the very cheap price and great functionality, its very difficult to not recommend this product!

Golden Review Award: 83 From Our UsersI chose this doorbell as it seemed to do pretty well the same as all the others on offer, and was a very reasonable price. It arrived next day with Prime service and within 5 minutes was out of its box and installed and working. There was no need to do anything other than fix the bell push to the front door frame with the very sticky tab supplied, and plug the receiver into a socket in the hall and ‘ding dong’ – all working beautifully. I didn’t bother trying out any of the other sounds, all I wanted was something to tell me when my next Amazon delivery arrived! The volume is very loud (and adjustable) , easy to hear all round the house, so no need for us to have 2 receivers as many of the bells on offer have. So far we haven’t been affected by any phantom bell ringing but again, its adjustable if you find your doorbell is affected by a neighbour’s, as our previous bell was. The sound is maybe not quite as melodic as our last bell, but perfectly good, and the whole thing is a real bargain. Don’t hesitate, get one!

Golden Review Award: 209 From Our UsersI’m becoming a fan of TeckNet – they really have some snazzy products – and here’s another one of them. A door bell that almost seems to invite you to ring it. Everything included. No need to put a battery in the ‘transmitter’ as it’s already in there. An adhesive pad to stick the bell push on the door jam. One tiny niggle, TeckNet. All I wanted was a simple ‘Bing Bong’ but I had to wade through the ‘William tell Overture’, ‘Yankee Doodle Dandy’ and goodness knows what to find it. Put ‘Bing Bong’ at the start.

Golden Review Award: 145 From Our UsersThis Tecknet wireless doorbell arrived promptly and was very well packaged in frustration free packaging. The package includes the doorbell, the plug-in receiver and some screws and an adhesive pad to attach the doorbell to your door.

The doorbell unit is very well built and comes with a battery included and already installed, which is a nice bonus.

All that needs to be done is to attach the doorbell to your required place and then to plug in the receiver to any spare socket you have in the house. The range on this unit is really good, so you should be able to plug it in wherever you like in your house without any problems. There is no pairing required, simply plug it in and you’re done.

When you press the doorbell, the blue LED ring around the button lights up, which is great, so someone at your door knows that it has worked. The receiver itself also lights up when the doorbell is pressed, which is good for people who may be hard of hearing.

You can choose from a selection of over 50 bell melodies, which means there’ll always be one you like! You can also choose from several different volume levels, so you can set it to your own preference.

Overall, this is a brilliant Tecknet product, which offers great value and I would highly recommend it!

    Excellent Wireless Doorbell from Tecknet!

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersThis doorbell is fantastic, lots of chimes to choose from – Seasonal chimes to regular doorbell the. I am currently using a siren chime as it’s one that I like. I have tested this from my front door right down to the shed at the bottom of the garden as the plan is to have it plugged into the shed electric in the summer for when I’m pottering. I did wonder if I needed a battery operated one for picking up and taking outside? I could buy another and operate the two bells with the one button so there would be no chance of forgetting to bring it back inside again.
Reading the instructions that came with the bell this should be possible as you can set bell in pairing mode.
I also like how the bell can be used in silent mode with just the led flashing which is great at night as if someone comes to house while the kids are asleep it won’t wake them….would be useful also for people who are hard of hearing.

Golden Review Award: 56 From Our UsersI have been using this door bell for a couple of weeks now. Is perhaps not the best I have tried when it comes to sound quality but then i shouldn’t expect Hi-Fi sound quality from a door bell.
It has plenty of different melodies as well as the standard door bell sounds which will cater for almost every occasion.
The thing I like the most is that if you have it in view, you can set it to light only and no sound which is ideal for when you are watching a movie or similar. As it plugs into the mains, you don’t really need to worry about batteries other than the ones in the remote but those batteries should last at least a year if no longer than that.

Beware, some of the tunes can be annoying but as there are plenty, I am sure you will find the one that you like. It also has three levels of volume so hearing the bell should not be a problem.

Golden Review Award: 300 From Our UsersThis TeckNet Doorbell is well-constructed and looking device. A Full white shell and blue LED’s when the door bell has been pressed for a visual warning Aswell as the chime. It’s nice that the device came with a battery for the button plus the adhesive sticky pad & screws to hold it in place. Once I installed the button, all that was left was to plug in the speaker. No pairing, just plug and play. I placed the speaker in the furthest place possible (Up a floor and a couple of brick walls in between) and it works a treat.

Having 50+ melodies is a wonderful touch (I did spend hour deciding a good one :D, I can’t deny..) and having the ability to turn down the speaker is really nice for those who might need it either louder or quieter. (Quietest setting for me)

I’ve had this doorbell for over a week now, and with the typical weather changes, I can say this door bell has so far survived a storm (Storm Doris to be exact) and just normal freezing cold/wet weather.

Overall, this doorbell is a very good one. It serves its purpose and I can see it being long lasting. All for a reasonable price. You’ll be daft not to get it.

Nice looking doorbell and easy to install.
