The price was great on the offer I bought it on however it comes with a USB stick with firmware to print with however no software to make prints with this is the only complaint I would be able to make fortunately I had one from brother that also worked with this
I bought this to check it was suitable for my needs, and my intention was then to buy another. The problem was the price more than doubled straight after receiving this printer. Such a shame, but the printer is ideal for my needs. No problems encountered.
As seen in uploaded image, print quality is good – some slight misprint at the top & bottom but that’s not an issue for me personally. Prints shipping labels perfectly well (obviously can’t show for GDPR/doxing reasons).
Comes with a USB stick for the drivers, but they can also be found on their website. The machine is very easy to connect onto a windows PC/laptop, I set mine up in less than 10min.
Machine is a little noisy but most thermal printers are. For the price this machine is well worth it.
I have no idea why this has any bad reviews, works fine. nice range of settings even pulls of dithering quite well for photos. absolute bargain for the price paid
Came with memory stick with all necessary drivers and detailed video instructions for first time setup, which was very easy.
So its far working perfectly!
I bought this to print Royal Mail postage labels for my business and it works well.
The instructions are useless but if you search “funglam thermal label printer” you’ll find a helpful video from the manufacturer. After watching that took me about 2 minutes to set it up.
Other than that I just fed in 6×4 labels and it prints perfectly and advances it to where you can tear it off each time which is exactly what I needed.
Very nice product, love this – so easy to print labels
Thank you
Prints Very well, Works great on ebay and etsy. Good quality and easy to set up, I am using windows 10
Does what it says on the tin prints labels, if it broke id defiantly buy it agai
This is a tricky little printer to install on Windows 10 but there are plenty of tutorials on Youtube, warning do not plug it in to the computer before watching one of the installation tutorials as 10 recognises it as a PnP and that’s why it isn’t recognised as the drivers that come with it become secondary to the drivers installed by Win 10. Once installed and working it’s a great little printer for the price more so if you get the discount I use it for printing 4″ x 6″ and 4″ x 2″ labels for shipping and box conte
I read the other reviews before buying 2 of these for our warehouse and it’s true – they aren’t the easiest to set up on Windows 10. However, the seller sent us the drivers and once you do get it set up these are excellent value for money. We run these alongside Zebra GK420d printers and although nothing will beat the Zebra on overall quality, these are perfectly fine for a backup or low budget solution.
This label printer is a lifesaver, it’s so fast! Excellent quality, fast delivery, fairly simple to set up, especially if you have a disc drive.
I initially purchased a Zebra model but it was faulty when it arrived so returned it. I then purchased this one and I’ve never looked back. To add it to a windows 10 pc you need to add it to a port. The print quality is great and I use it for my eBay labels and PayPal labels amongst other labels I need to print. I have added a picture and below the label, you will see the companies that I use and each use a different horizontal offset to print properly. Picture 1 is an eBay label at -5.00 Hoffset and picture 2 is at 0.00 Hoffset and you can see the outcome. You don’t need to touch the vertical.
The only draw back is it does not take a normal thermal roll and I had 20 of these. So I find I have to unwind the rolls by one third. Otherwise a very good printe
Some people complained about the drivers being on a CD, the manufacturer seems to be aware of the problem because the drivers are all on the website now. They’re quite easy to google. It’s not plug in and go but I wouldn’t say it was much hassle to set up.
It prints just fine, I’d say it’s a great product for the price
Bought to use with Royal Mail or Paypal shipping labels (4 x 6 inches). Install exactly as Quick Guide tells you, but you must load the printer driver from the CD. Printer is smart enough to determine label size from the gap between them. Now that the page the Royal Mail produces includes the Certificate of Posting on the same page as the label (bad idea), when you want to print the label by itself using Adobe Reader, choose the printer, then tick Actual Size before you print.
i print maybe 200 labels per day , i loaded the drivers and this ace little machine knew what to do immediately, if it runs out of labels it resumes with perfection, it prints better with time if you clean the head as instructed..if any bad print just keep cleaning the head..
This product has been a lifesaver for our small Etsy business. It was easy to setup, and runs no problem with Windows 10. We’ve already printed over 2,000 labels on it.
The holder for the roll of labels is a bit fiddly, and larger rolls of labels have to be stripped down a few layers to fit, but this really isn’t a big deal – you can also feed them in via a rear slot if preferred or using a flat block of labels instead of a roll
Great product
The user guid included shows there should be an adaptor which I needed.
Bought an external roll holder in the end.
Messaged seller to ask about the missing part but no reply.
If you have an external roll holder already, or your rolls have the smaller core to fit then this is a great printer.
Really good printer, I wasn’t expecting much but I was wrong.
I had already bought a Zebra a week or so before, for doing my postal labels, but being unable to set it up on my pc, i opted to buy a cheaper version and I’m currently returning the zebra.
I mainly bought this as I had already bought rolls of labels which cost a fair whack and took a chance on an unbranded machine that was 1/3 of the price. I’m so glad I did.
~It works perfectly~
It’s a pain to set up (Windoze 10) – especially if you don’t have a cd drive such as myself, but a quick youtube guide was found – follow that video and you will be up and running in a short while. It takes a few goes to set up the labels correctly, I’m up and running printing my mailing labels now with no hassles, the printing is clear and easy to use. Even if the machine only lasts a year, buying a replacement is cheap enough that it still costs less than the alternatives (Zebra/Brother)
I’m very happy.
The driver files come on a CD. Like most people, I live in the 20th century so I don’t have a CD drive. Instead, I messaged the seller and they sent a google drive link, which didn’t work. Eventually they emailed me the driver files.
I unzipped the driver, ran the installation (needs the printer plugged in), and thats it! It started printing perfect labels. The printer knows exactly how big the label is so lines itself up automatically (you need to set the width using the plastic clips).
Cheap, but great quality. Couldn’t recommend this printer more.
My computer doesn’t have a CD ROM drive so I located the drivers and diagnostic tool online, not on the manufacturer website but a forum somewhere… Once set up it runs well and is incredible simple to use.
It auto-calibrates using a sensor every time its switched on and can print reasonable graphics when the dithering options are played around with in the print dialogue on Windows 10.
In conclusion the support is pretty poor, but the printer itself works very nicely once you read online how to make it work!
I was skeptical and pleasantly surprised, this printer is great. I use it for printing off shipping labels. It works just as well as the alternatives and the print quality is fine. You need to set the print size and speed in printing preferences though. I’d happily buy this printer again. I use Windows 10 and it is working perfectly.
Really good machine. Would recommend to anyone who prints a lot of labels. Wish it would be compatible with Mad. However, still one of the best machines out there for its price.
Label size is not good you can’t use all labels
Had the printer for two weeks and did used to print more than 1000+ labels. Very impressed with the quality and speed of printing labels.
