Arrived promptly and was simplicity itself to get up & running- I almost over- complicated it by trying to register with 3, when it happened on starting up my portable wifi device without my having to do anything! Now looking forward to several months of not having to use my network allowances when e.g. visiting my family
Stuck this sim into the he second sim slot of my phone, switched data connection to it and it fired straight up. Can’t go wrong for this price.
I’ve got about 2 bars normally pretty consistent. 5 g comes and gos. Seems reasonable value planning on going mobile van life so proper test later on. Fairly happy

Over the long period of use in the deal, this was a bargain.

To be honest I was a bit sceptical of this as it seemed to good to be true. However I’ve been using the sim in conjunction with my Synology router for just over a month as a backup Internet connection as I’m WFH.
So far it’s saved me on 3 occasions when my virgin internet stopped working and the sim has been rock solid unlike my virgin internet….
Hopefully the sim continues to work until it’s expiry date
People have been confused about where you get support from if you have an issue. Not from Three!
While pretty tech savvy, I got a curious issue with multiple devices connecting via an old 4G stick plugged into the back of my router. Could not solve it myself. Tech support was prompt direct from the seller and they did make the effort.
In the end I am using a perfectly good workaround of an old 4G phone as a 4G modem stick, connected to router via USB, to provide whole house backup internet. That old phone also works as a MiFi in its own right for shout internet outages with my home provider.
I would drop half a star because you need to email to find out your remaining months data balance. An automated system, even if an email bot or something, would have been very much better.
One other thing: I picked the Three network as due to experience I know their data is very fast here. You should carefully survey your own 3 signal and download speeds before investing in this product if you plan to use it from a fixed location.
This deal for 40GB a month for a one off payment seemed almost too good to be true, it refreshers on the 7th of every month, you have to send an email to the company if you want to find out your data as the the sim is pre-registered to them, but you can check your data on your settings (on pc} and reset it yourself every month, I am using a Three dongle. When I first used it I could not get it to work, the dongle went from red to green, but reading some comments in other reviews, what you have to do again is go into your settings on connected devices and manually put an APN in to get it to work. Under profile name type in three, then on APN type in 3internet, IP Type(dont-type!} should be set if it is not to Default. Mine worked perfectly after that and I had been previously using a 24GB data sim which can last for 12 months if you dont use the data, but even with them I have had of late to put in an APN! I hope this helps!
Very good value for money wi fi solution, I have a third floor apartment and getting a landline was a hassle and paying 20 plus pounds a month a bit extortionate considering I’m only there 3 days per week, I get a good mobile signal and the speed is equivalent to my WiFi at my work.
WiFi signal great and I get good 5G coverage consistently. Much better value for money than a pay as you go because I don’t have to worry about topping up for more data. Would recommend can’t rate highly enough … will be purchasing more in the future!!
Had a little issue at the beginning, sim was active but could not get data to turn on, spoke to support and was the fixed same day.
Coverage dependant on threes signal, 5g speeds at work but at home only getting 4g.
If this continues to go well I might just cancel my sim only plan and get the cheapest unlimited calls and text plan, and just use this as data every month.
There is nothing negative to say about this data card. It was the cheapest card with the most data, the sim worked straight away as soon as it was in the router. The signal was brilliant and it has made my teenage son very happy on our caravan holiday!!! Theres nothing about it not to like!!!
This item is great we use it in our campervan and it works perfectly
As a rule, I don’t do reviews. But this little sim works a treat. Data has reset back to 40g after first months use. Have got good signal strength. So, would highly recommend (but do check your have a good 3 signal in your area;) 5 stars
