This is a sturdy, robust charging tower that is also equipped with USB sockets, giving you a range of options for charging multiple devices while also offering surge protection for safety. The tower design makes it fairly compact so it takes up less space than flat equivalents. Great for use in e.g the office where there are multiple devices requiring power simultaneously.

Wanted a small 8-plug extension lead with a long cable. This fits the bill perfectly. You can turn off pairs of sockets, so save electricity by only having the ones in use turned on. It’s compact so fits on a shelf, rather than trailing across the floor and have separate usb charging sockets is an added bonus.

Great little device works as it should. Additional On/Off switches for each column help to manage unwanted devices from being powered. USB ports very helpful, but today most devices (phones, tablets, earpods) require a little more than provided power through USB socket. out of 5 if at least 2 would be capable of fast charging or at least able to charge Ipad pro and similiar would give 5 stars. Lead is long enough for any need around the office or on a trip. Recommend

I really like this charger as you can charge multiple things at once, it has a lot of USB sockets which saves you having lots of chargers plugs plugs, each side can be switched off separately so you don’t have to have the whole unit connected to electric at once, the charging socket looks a lot better than just a normal extension lead, lens and lovely in the front room not taking as much room up as the normal extension lead, so Fat that we have had no problems and would buy another one family room

    Negatives first:
My only real complaint is that the power buttons do not light up, so you cannot confirm whether each switch is ON at a glance. There is a small green LED however showing power ON between the USB ports. The sockets are also closer together than standard UK sockets as my comparison shows. However, I tried a couple of different plugs and found the spacing to be adequate.

I rated this 5 stars for Sturdiness, the base is non-slip, is wider than the main Tower and has a low centre of gravity.

I also rated this 5 stars for Safety Features, the plastic is flame retardant, heat resistant, surge protection, overload protection and more.

5 stars for Value for Money. You get a well made, robust, Mini Tower that has 8 x UK Plug Outlets at 10 Amp Max Total, and 5 x USB at 2.4 Amp Max Total.

The fuse in the plug is 13 Amp so you can power a number of items comfortably. This Tower is mean’t for a small office, home study, it ISN’T mean’t for plugging your toaster, kettle and iron in altogether!

Overall I’m very happy with it and the long 5M cable is very handy, rather than the usual 2M.

Well built Mini Tower and long 5 Metre cable

As the title says, you get far more now than you did years ago when you could get a two or 4 socket extension lead on a short cable.

This is a good-looking tower that has an impressive 5m power lead. Comes with no less than 8 UK 3-pin plug points and 5 USB sockets, which are very useful.

Should be used fir 10amp appliances but that covers a lot of accessories, computers, speakers, DVD player etc.

Very useful in my house and its a winner from me.

I really like this – great way to charge lots of things at once. Everything is angled nicely so it’s easy to connect things… probably best to have the charger on the floor at the back of the desk but overall I’m impressed by this. I tend to moan when sockets don’t have on/off switches on each socket – this one has it on each pair of sockets which is fine.

    It’s also fairly compact.

I really like these plug towers. There’s more room for the plugs and it looks neater somehow. I like the USB connectors and I like that you can turn them on and off independently of the wall plug.

This is great basically. Very happy to recommend this.

This is a really great extension lead. Perfect for using behind the TV and entertainment unit or in your home office. It has a row down one edge with USB sockets, 6 in total and you get 8 regular power sockets, each row with it’s own on/off button. The lead is long so you have good options on where to plug it in and where to position it.
Overall, a well thoughtout design and very handy!

Tiny form factor for 8 plugs and 4 USB. Not sure why I’ve never seen anyone do something like this before. Typically you get a 6 gang and the socket is about half a meter long.

Well this gets over all those problems in a tiny space, works well on the top of my desk and being black it doesn’t stick out in your face.

Thick cable on this meaning I have doubt that this will handle the full 13amps. Had a 2500w electric heater on this and the cable remained cool.

    Very good produc

A useful mains extension lead providing 8 conventional 3-pin mains sockets together with 5 USB sockets. As noted in the technical data, the total current draw should be limited to 10A, so this will be fine for e.g. a laptop and associated peripherals, but should not be used for heavier current items such as heaters, hair dryers and irons. It i ideal for sitting under a desk with your computer & periphals, desk lamp, etc. connected.

It’s a chunky unit with a relatively small footprint (12cm square) in sturdy black plastic with non-slip pads on the base. The power switches (one for each pair of the mains sockets) have a good positive action, and the overall finish of the unit is tidy with no rough edges.

The best feature is the long (16’4″/5m) power lead, terminating in a robust moulded and fused mains plug.

Overall, it’s a useful and well finished unit.

The Tower extension lead device is well built and sturdy. It has anti-slip feet and a five metre cable. It is small and neat, taking up little space, and it is stable on a desk top or on the floor. For an older house with minimal power points, it is a godsend.

There are eight outlets for plugs, each with its own on/off switch an there are 5 A 4 USB ports. On a practical levels, say goodbye to all those spaghetti cables and long 4-gates under the desk that look like Battersea Power Station.

In the kitchen it is invaluable for being able to run various gadgets without contsantly plug/unplug/plug. There’s a built-in surge protection that gives peace of mind. I’m delighted with this product.

This is the second one of these I have. They are great for areas such as around a desk where several electrical items require power.

This allows you to plug in 8 13amp plugs, which is more than many conventional distribution boards support. This means you can arrange wiring more safely than “piggy-backing” distribution boards (which is dangerous), or having to run multiple leads from different wall sockets.

Being able to place this unit on the desk means you do not have to crawl around under the desk or in dark corners to plug items in or out, and you can switch each pair of sockets on or off independently. It also makes it easy to use the USB ports to plug in a phone etc for charging.

The plugs go in and out easily and the switches seem solid enough. It seems to be good quality.

This extension tower is really good and has a very long 3m power cable so you can put it pretty much anywhere you need too.
You get 13 charging output from this little tower with 8 3-pin plugs spread 2 high around the 4 sides and then on the one joining edge you have 5 USB outlets to charge phones etc. One of the really good features is that each of the 4 sides has an individual power switch so you can control those two sockets form that switch and only have powered on the ones you need, this I found perfect for when I went away and just wanted to turn two of the sides off but leave then other ones on.
Overall, at 25.99 I think it’s really value for an 8-way extension that’s compact, really well designed and made.

great extension tower with super long lead

I must admit I rather like these vertically stacked power ‘strips’. They create a lot of connectivity with a small footprint. This one has 8 UK-style sockets and 5 USB sockets. The USB sockets are all together. The mains sockets are two per face of the tower. Each stack of two mains sockets has its own on/off switch. The USBs are permanently on.

This unit has built-in surge protection with a little pop-out reset button on the base. Perhaps the best thing is the 16ft mains wire that lets you use this at some considerable distance from a mains outlet.

Total capacity is 2500W, but there is a warning suggesting that you don’t use it with individual appliances that come anywhere near that power consumption. For me these power strips are always for low wattage items like hi-fi, computer, and AV equipment.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis arrived in a small branded box with images of the ‘Power Strip’ on the package, and technical date. Inside you get the main unit with a user instruction leaflet which covers the product details along with safety information.

After opening it up I plugged it in and tested all the outlets, and they all worked as they should along with being able to turn off each bank with the switch at the top of each set of two. The USB section can also be turned off using the switch that controls the bank to the right of it, and has a green LED light in the middle showing when it is on.

There are four rubber feet on the bottom of the unit so it sits well on any surface without causing damage. The main bank switches are not illuminated when on which in my opinion would have been better and make it easier to see when a bank is on.

Overall in my opinion this is a good power strip and with a five metre extension cord very handy. USB ports are more of a necessity now and although these are near the sockets I did not find any issue using them while I had 3 pin plugs in the sockets. I like that selective banks can be turned on or off but would have liked the switches to illuminate when on, although this may be a personal preference and not suited to all.

    Works perfectly and very handy

Finally, a single tower extension that can accommodate all the plugs and also the USB ports at the same time. Saves so much space and all the wires are tucked away.

It has a long 5m extension cord and the 5 USB ports fast charge as well. The tower extension lead has been designed nicely to keep the plug socket and USB sockets separate. The tower lead accommodates two sockets on each side of the tower so in total 8 sockets and 5 USB ports are separately lined up. The other good feature is that it includes a power switch at each side of the tower controlling two sockets each.

Overall a good product which I will recommend.

I do hope this review helped you.

Works well, great bit of kit. Ideal on the floor underneath my computer which feeds all sorts of peripherals – Scanner, Printer, lamp, Hard drive, monitor, etc. The USB ports are useful as a charging base too. Great bit of kit that works well.

This hub works extremely well. It is a bit smaller than I expected, but that’s not a problem as part of the charm is the neatness of it!

There are 8 plug sockets and 5 USBs which is ample in a world that seems to require endless USB connections! There is a useful green LED when the hub is connected to the mains and there are separate on/off switches for each pair of the plug sockets, which is good for safety / energy. There is also a built in surge protector for additional safety.

The extension lead is about 5m in length so is more than ample for most environments. The hub is quite light weight, but once connected feels a bit more solid – the feet are anti slip too which stops it potentially sliding across any slippery surfaces.

Overall a winner in my book!

    Great product!

This power point / extention is excellent. Up to 8 uk plug connections + an additional 4 usb plugs. Each side is divided into 2 power plugs with independent switches to meter the power usage. This feels like a far more expensive power point i’ve used in office. Tough, sturdy and reliable

This extension lead is ideal for areas where plug sockets are few. The wire is a good length as well, meaning it can be used quite far from its original plug. It creates plenty of available sockets with the added bonus of some USB ones as well, it’s reasonably compact though maybe not the easiest to conceal. It is also very solidly made and appears to be of high quality. The translation in the instructions leaves a lot to be desired but then again, you probably don’t need any for an extension cable. Overall, recommend buy if you are looking for extension sockets.

This is fantastic. I got it for my 12 year old sons room. He has lots of things to either plug in or charge. Plenty of room, even have his 5,000 BTU ac plugged into this unit. The USB slots take away the need for every cord to have an actual plug saving space. We like it.

The picture on the product page is accurate. The tower looks exactly like it.
In real life it is compact and really neat.
The USB slots are a very welcome addition to this traditional cable tower and in a very short time I charged up a portable phone power bank that was totally drained. So that is even more excellent.
Having a surge protection is also a bonus.
The build quality is about right for the price tag.
    I am happy with it.

This is amazing for if you live in a house that does not have many plug sockets. Or if you are trying to reach something to plug it into the wall that is too far away you will find this useful because it comes with a really lengthy 5 meter cord!

It is power surge protected and has a switch with each two plug sockets so that you can control which ones are switched on or not. It comes with 8 plug sockets in total and 5 USB ports. I found the USB ports work nicely they charged up my phone and smart watch much quicker than my previous extension chord.

Also unlike other extension chords it is not ugly. However if you are not utilizing the full 5 meter length of the chord you will have a lot of excess everywhere. I had to put an elastic band around mine. It would be nice if it came with some way that you can wrap the lead around when you’re not using the full 5 meters because aside from that it does not take up much space.

Please let me know if this was helpful for you

In many ways this is the ideal extension solution. It has 8 3 pin sockets, 5 x 2.4A USB A sockets for charging, and a very generous 5 metre long cord, which means it is long enough to suit most peoples’ purposes. There is an on/off switch for each bank of 2 sockets, and it sits firmly upright on its large, square base. It is well made, and all 13 sockets work perfectly.
The only 2 downsides are, 1. It only has an overall rating of 2500W, which means if you intend to use all 8 mains sockets simultaneously, you may be limited by the power consumption for each item. For instance you will only be able to plug in a 2000W fan heater if the remaining 7 items you are using have a combined consumption of under 500W, although there is a circuit breaker that cuts in if the lead is overloaded, as well as a built in surge protector.
I would have liked to see this extension lead rated at 3500W, which would have made it much more flexible. 2. I would also have liked to see the addition of a USB Type C socket, and would have been willing to forgo one of the USB A sockets to have that.
Luckily I have a USB C to USB A adapter plug, and I won’t be using high consumption items with this extension lead.
These two minor points aside, it’s an excellent item to own, and I am really pleased with it. It will suit the vast majority of people who are running out of 3 pin mains sockets, and USB A sockets. It comes with an 18 month warranty, and I recommend it.
