Easy instructions, don’t need own tools as comes with screwdriver. It’s ideal to make more room.
It is so easy to build, the manual instructions are really well done, the offer the tool you will need to use. I am really happy with it and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
As working from home, needed to setup a proper working space. This l shape perfectly fits in the corner. Very easy to setup and sturdy for its design. When using three different screens at the same time, i need something like this from long time. There is perfect leg space and the width of table for working or gamming purposes. It has shleves too for some extra things and stained wood really goes with my curtains.
This desk is probably my favourite purchase of the year!
Pros:
– It’s very sturdy once built
– The wood colour is deep and lush
– It’s spacious and has enough depth; previously I’d been working on a dining table so I was worried the lack of space would cause issues, but that’s absolutely not the case
– The instructions were clear. I’m a DIY and flat pack novice; this is the second thing I have ever constructed and it went so smoothly
– The parts are all clearly labelled and bagged, and it even came with all the tools I needed to do the job
– At 103, it is good value for money
Cons (of which there are few)
– The wood for the tower stand did not have pre-drilled holes, so I haven’t made it ye
Honestly, I cannot find a single thing wrong with this desk.
The time it took me to put it together, the instructions were clear, and the look of it just made this the best desk I’ve ever had.
I would recommend this desk to everyone I know as it looks nice, is sturdy, and fits well with my room.
Really like this desk, it is solid and sturdy and is the perfect size for me to do my bits of crafting on!
It was nice and easy to follow the instructions and assemble without any issues.
Lovely looking modern desk, highly recommend.
This is a great desk took about 1 hour to build
It’s sturdy and has plenty leg room
My son loves it for his gaming set up
The walnut colour is nice
Plenty storage room and 2 shelf’s
A wonderful desk! Except I made the mistake of getting the wrong L shape, as in I wanted the tall side to be where the short side was so now it doesn’t fit in the room I want it in.
That being said, that’s my mistake and we are freeing up a corner in another room so this will move there and make the perfect desk soon! It’s currently set up and being used by my brother and he loves it. Fits so much and has a sliding board for his computer too. Also has a platform-like additional piece that goes on the desk to keep a monitor/screen up and a keyboard and mouse hidden discreetly underneath. I also love the book/item storage section on the end of the long side.
To fix, this has to be the easiest flat-pack to get up. It took time because I did the first bit alone but when I was getting the help of another, it was up in no time. The pieces are accurately labelled and the directions are very straightforward. Everything you need, including a screwdriver and all the screws in labelled packets, are included – you don’t need to get anything else! No complaints there and hope more flat-packs are like this.
Although it’s not in the right room, I still use it everyday after work. I just love the space and the L shape, which means two people can be on either side to use. It’s great as a gaming set/work desk/desk for students.
All in all, I would definitely recommend – just double check it’s going to fit where you want it!
Pro’s
100% Value for money (currently 103.99)
Easy to read and follow instructions
All components labelled clearly and packaged well
Lovely colour and feel
Very stable
Monitor stand is not screwed in so can be easily moved
Great storage space with two shelves underneath
Plenty of room – I have had my personal laptop, work laptop and additional screen on the desk at one time.
Cons
Narrow edges which make it hard to clip things onto, such as lights, camera stands, mics – I have the latter clamped in the corner where there is no metal underneath
The metal is on the softer side so need to take care when tightening screws
So i read quiet a few reviews about it, i wanted a sturdy table as i would be using it for quite a few things such as work and gaming, so i wanted to make sure i was getting what i was paying for. i haven’t tested it fully yet, but using it for a month so far it is a really good table. it doesn’t have a lot of shelving which at first i was okay with and wanted that as i wouldn’t be putting much on them anyway, however, now i would prefer there was a little more. that is however personal preference. there is a lot of leg room, and the desk it self is really sturdy. it was relatively easy to put it together as the instructions are clear. i did it all alone so it is possible. it was difficult to screw in some of the screws but if you have a electric drill that will be no problem. the little shelf that goes on top of the desk does not screw to the desk. i really liked that as i had the flexibility to move it around and right now i’m using it to hide some of the wires that need to be on the desk. the desktop computer shelf that comes with it, you have to make your own holes for the little plastic legs so an electric drill will be needed for that. the desk it self is also relatively big. one thing i don’t like about it is the weirdly shaped corner. the corner that joins both sides together is angled, it doesn’t really let anything go under the desk in that space as it would decrease the leg room significantly but it is still manageable. overall i would recommend this desk. for the price it is totally worth it.
Bought this table for the newly decorated office. Wanted something relatively slim so that it doesn’t “load” the office too much and this proved a good option. Despite being so slim, it is very sturdy and has plenty of room for all my stuff. The hook for the backpack is a nice touch as I always had it somewhere on the floor, whereas now it has got a proper space. Still working up the final setup for the office so the arrangement may change slightly. That being said, I love the versatility of this table and the options it gives me.
During the pandemic, I was working from home full time. I’m now back in the office for a couple of days a week but I still work from home for the other three, so I wanted a proper desk that was comfortable and had the space I needed for the multiple devices and monitors I use daily.
The desk itself is really well made and of good quality. It took an hour or so to put together alone and would probably have been easier and quicker with two people, but it wasn’t a massive struggle by myself.
There’s plenty of space for my PC, Surface laptop, monitors, tablet, mobile phone, desk phone and papers with room left over.
I also like the fact there’s a gap in the L of the two desks that I can run cables through to manage them a bit easier.
The only let down is the fact that there’s no drawers, but this isn’t a massive deal breaker as there are still sections under the desk for storage.
All in all it’s a great desk if you need the space. Otherwise, you can pick up a similar, smaller size desk for a fraction of the price.
At 103.99 for the walnut version, which was the price at time of writing, it is expensive, but might be worth it in the long run if you’re still working from home a few days a week like I am.
I hope you found this review helpful.
Sturdy desk. Easy to assemble didn’t take too long about 30-45 minutes, nice looking quite modern. Lots of space for working on. My desk chair can fit easily under the table
Needed a new desk and saw this one was perfect size for what I need I am not a fan of putting deck today as I always feel that they never go together when I opened up this one came with one took and that’s all that was needed. When putting it all together I have no problem what so every found it very easy the paper it came with was very simple when it showing what to put together all parts in the boxed are also labelled and helped when putting it together. All in all it took me 40/50 minutes to put together for the size I think it was very easy. I have also included a picture of when I was putting it together the back on the table has two bars that make it strong with a lot of support. I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a desk.
Product arrived in good packaging, protecting it from knocks and drops during transit. Clear instructions. Easy to assemble. Sturdy and looks good too. Better than expected.
The surface depth is only 48 cm – fine for my small office but some may find it too narrow.
The desk can only be assembled with the longer side on the left. Would have liked to have the option to put the long side on the right.
Other than that, very happy with the purchase – would recommend.
I have a small area underneath my stairs that really doesn’t fit anything in so I decided to repurpose it as an extra office space for me or my wife to work in most at home. This desk conveniently had the correct sizes too place the shorter end underneath the stairs and the longer end be used as the main desk meaning that I have a lot more surface area for note pads pens etc but then I also have a large monitor on top of the main desk area sitting on the raised part of the desk giving a nice position for typing.
It’s made from a sturdy covered wood that looks like an old stained wood but really isn’t, however that’s just the surface is not the legs themselves. The legs are a black coated metal frame which with all the strengthening bars across it make a really sturdy desk.
It also comes with a slightly raised tower platform which is designed to sit on the floor, this at first looked a little bit weird but once I have my tower placed on top of it I am now you can see that it’s raised above in order to promote air circulation it does actually make sense.
Building it up is as usually a little bit time consuming but this went up in about 25 minutes in total and that includes time for me to get my head around the instructions which although were straight forward I always take my time to read thoroughly. The addition of the adjustable feet also helped as parts of the floor it sits on is a little bit uneven so being able to set the feet ever so slightly higher meant that I actually have a level desk.
All in, it’s sturdy, it fits and it looks good
We have a large open landing so I got this as a work station both for one of us when the other is in our home office or for the grandchildren to use when visiting. Beware, it is very heavy due to being wood and metal and putting it together is not the work of a moment. The instructions are very clear but there are so many bits to it I kept having to go back when I realised there was not a hole where there should be. However I got it together (beware of mixing screws A and B) and am totally delighted with the result. The hardest part is attaching the 3 tops from underneath as it is very hit and miss trying to line up the holes but once you have one in each it gets easier. It also comes with a lovely little stand which simply fits together with 6 wooden plugs and a foot rest which has sliders which fit on with one screw in each. It does not take up as much room as you might think and I got rid of a small bookcase as all the books on it fit on the two shelves. I did wonder if a drawer might be useful to hide things that seem to accumulate on any flat surface in our house but that is only a small niggle. Very much recommended in these work from home days.
The TREETALK L-Shaped corner desk is a fantastic corner desk at an affordable price. The fact its only 60cm depth appeals to me as it minimises the amount of space used and although you have to assemble it yourself it’s actually relatively simple and easy if you follow the included instructions.
The assembled desk is also really sturdy, it’s of good quality and best of all it looks absolutely great. I love the fact they have though of everything and you have a matching PC stand, two shelves, a monitor riser and even a hook for headphones or other accessories
The desk is very well made, looks the part and minimal on space due to it not being too deep and fitting in the corner. Great value purchase.
This desk is very well built and the price is very good! This is for my sisters work from home masterpiece! Looks amazing and lots.of room for her many books and computer parts!!
This is a cheap desk all told, and you know that you get what you pay for with things like this. The metal frame is easy enough to assemble although I wish it was allen keys rather than Philips screws because assembling this in a tight space had its challenges. Not nearly as sturdy as some desks I’ve had, but at least the frame is metal and won’t suffer the chipboard crumble when trying to move.
The dimensions for anyone wanting to actually decipher how wide and long it is:
Left side is 120cm end to end (including corner), right side is 150cm end to end (including corner) and the depth is 48cm.
The top of the desk is laminate covered board with no grain detail. It looks a bit cheap and there were a few nicks on the edges.
But if you’re looking for a cheap working from home solution that gives you two distinct areas and plenty of space, this is a pretty good option.
This is a large L-shaped office desk. Good value and easily affordable. It is strong and stable in construction. Assembly of the table was easy with a little help due to the weight and shape of the table. It is more suitable for putting in a corner of the room. I like the design of the wood effect table top. The table top is easy to look after and wipe clean. I think it is heat resistant as I have mistakenly put a hot mug of coffee on it without it marking . The shelves are good for storage and monitor stand is useful if you wish to use it.
I can only say that i love this desk , it took me one hour by my self to put it together so not to much, and at the end i was really impressed with the final product, it has a lot of room underneath for your legs. And I chose to have the PC Unit on top but you easily have it underneath with the help of that stand that keeps the dus away, the rustic colour is amazing and im in love with this desk
