The chair was easy to put together. I made a mistake with the sizes of the screws only one time. Looks really nice when you get it finished, I am painting it now with garden paint to make it last longer, and it’s worth every penny to keep it lasting longer as it’s really lovely. Many thanks for such a lovely well made rocking chair . I really would recommend this rocking chair highly. .
I bought one of these many years ago, but it has been chewed by my dog when he was a puppy, and is getting rickety. This replacement is good, but the wood feels weird. It feels like balsa wood and is very porous.
Saying that, it went together really easily, it seems sturdy, and after a couple of coats of wood varnish, isn’t so porous.
But old faithful is hard to replace!
The yellow color was odd. But we painted it white anyway. .it’s comfy too
Once assembled it’s quite nice for the price.instructions aren’t that good ,yet if you know someone who’s good at flat packs it’s worth buying ,if you don’t you may struggle ,but overall looks good ,sturdy ,and comfy ,as for weatherproof I don’t know as il be varnishing it anyway
It was very easy to build, but does feel a little bit flimsy, only tried a couple of times but is comfortable, a bit difficult to paint needs a number of coats

Very easy to assemble and very comfortable. Colour is more orange than the picture suggests. But still lovely.

This chair is great. It was relatively easy to put together. My hands are not good for screwing, so the screw bit was hard for me. But the bolts were easy. I am delighted with the chair. I have always enjoyed sitting in a traditional beach deck chair to relax. This one is a little more upright but has arms to rest my cup of tea on. This is fantastic. I love it. Was a bit of an impulse buy as I was really wanting a wooden table for my garden. So that search goes on. Meanwhile I have a brilliant chair to enjoy.

Fantastic quality. Easy enough to assemble. Looks great on my deck and is comfortable. I previously bought the Canadian bear chairs and sadly after 7 years in the cold, wet Irish climate they were done. Was a bit sceptical of buying these but have to say that these are better quality. Much sturdier. Could not be happier. 10 out of 10 .
A lovely comfy chair. The first one arrived with a damaged arm, but there was no quibble, a replacement was sent immediately.

Assembled it on my own. Okay took a while but don’t all flat packs? Nice wide arm rests that you can stand a cup on (obviously not while rocking). Has a nice long back to support you and the addition of a couple of cushions makes it a really comfy rocking chair. Was delighted with how sturdy it is and have already spent many an hour in it enjoying the evening sun on my patio.

Needed a further chair for the patio and this just seemed to fit the bill. Love the design, it was very easy to erect, and is very comfortable,just love the wide arms, the perfect place to rest the book!! As soon as the rain stops will give it a coat of varnish and then all will be perfect.
Comfy chair, instructions weren’t 100% clear but easy enough to work out. Easy to put together would say it needs treating at some point with furniture paint or stain to keep looking nice. Ideal for sitting in the garden with the kids
This was bought as a gift for me from my parents. Absolutely love it. Can’t wait for the fine weather to arrive so I can sit, rock and read my P & P books on the decking. My Dad said it took him ages to assemble though but really worth it when you see the finished product.

I talked my husband into treating me to this for my birthday. Took a bit of krypton factorish effort to assemble but was well worth it. I have never sat in anything so comfortable. Highly recommended
Nice looking chair, and more comfortable that some I have tried in shops. My husband assembled, (and he hasn’t complained that they were difficult).
We have stained ours pale grey and they look really lovely, would agree with previous review that they need to be stained before assembly.
Wish I had bought the chair not rocker version. Hope they stand up to our wet Welsh weather.
This chair is everything that i expected, it is very comfortable and easy to assemble. Although the wood is fairly soft we have had it for 2 summers now and it is still in great condition. Customer service is excellent, very quick and helpful.

I first saw these chairs when visiting Canada lat year and loved the style and comfort of them. Those were painted but we’ve left ours with a natural finish which also looks good.
very comfy rocking chair. perfect for sitting relaxing on my decking. not made of the highest quality wood and the screw / nuts holes will probably need attention to strengthen / repair them in the future,but that will be no problem to any DIY / handyman. a great chair for the price.
Surprise gift for husband from son as well as the Patio Newby Adirondack and he couldn’t be more pleased. Well made, comfortable and excellent value for money, free delivery included, ordered Saturday lunchtime and del ivered on Tuesday. Great chair the wife loves it, 10 out of 10! the neighbours said they would like to buy one as well.
pros: look good, very comfortable, wide arms, tall back, they rock!, light-weight so easy to move into the sun or out of the rain, good value at 65 each (I bought 2).
cons: not that solid (not convinced how durable they will be), the finish is a not especially attractive yellow/orange, one of the pair had the recess in one arm on the wrong side – so required some improvisation to assemble.
overall: very pleased with them after 2 months (mine are part sheltered which may help). If you sat on one of these in a garden centre you’d think “wow!” and have to take one or two home, probably.
Ordered on Sunday arrived Tuesday lunchtime!! Was built and being sat on Tuesday evening. Excellent quality product, much better than I anticipated especially for the price. Good solid and very very comfortable. Great wide arms for your drinks or chocolate bars too. Sooo easy to put together and already coated in preservative. Am now ready to enjoy in the warm evenings?
I ordered two of these chairs and they arrived within a couple of days. They were well packed and it took about half an hour to assemble each one. We had a slight problem with one of the arms but the customer service was outstanding and the problem was dealt with immediately and without question. The chairs look great and I can’t wait to sit in the garden rocking in the sunshine!!

I bought this for my dad and its lovely, really sturdy and good quality, arrived very quickly and now thinking of buying myself one!
Fair quality for the price, my wife stained it blue and it sits in the conservatory and gets dragged into the garden in summer.
Now it is fully assembled, this has been an excellent addition to the garden. However, construction was difficult and it was easier to work backwards rahter than forwards through the instructions!

I have waited a long time for one of these chairs and am very pleased with it.
Good product for the price (we bought two and got free delivery) easy to assemble but follow the instructions as there are several different bolt sizes for specific purposes. The only down side for us was the colour it might be natural wood but appears to have been stained yellowish colour, so we painted ours green- looks good.
Took advantage of the 60 price of this chair, always wanted a rocker.
Put together with help of strong male arms. The use of bolts for majority of joins instead of screws made it easy to adjust the connections. I used a Phillips head screwdriver and an adjustable wrench to tighten the bolts.It was constructed in under half an hour.
A good size for big to small people and a very comfortable seat. The wide arm rests give it a regal feel.
It has a lovely smell too.
Whilst it has been treated lightly for weather resistance, I have now ordered Teak Oil to protect it thoroughly.
I bought a small table from True Shopping who despatch this chair. The little table is designed to match the chair and was not sold on Amazon. It matches the wood perfectly and serves as a handy side table.

We have 2 of these and they are the business. They sit in the garden and are very comfortable even without cushions as the high back supports your head….perfect for nodding off in.
The build quality is very good and they are very easy to put together as they are part assembled. The wide arms really are a good idea, perfect for resting a large G&T on or cuppa, depending on the time of day.
Well priced chair, easy to assemble, should last if correctly weather proofed. Our friends have had a couple of these for a while now and they seem to be lasting even in the wonderful Scottish summer.
What a lovely chair! I’ve wanted a rocking chair for as long as I can remember. When I found this I couldn’t believe the price. So I thought it had to be mine. It came the next working day, (ordered on Sunday, came on Tuesday) The company that sell this chair via Amazon are really good, I phoned them to ask when I would have delvery and I was told Tuesday by 2.30, well the delivery turned up bang on 2.30, so great customer service, brilliant price, nice rocking motion. It was relitively easy to put together, when we first took it out of the box I thought there’s a lot of screws and bolts and pieces of wood but it went together in no time. I LOVE this chair and I’m looking forward to loads of lazy days rocking and reading or just enjoying the sunshine on my patio.

A super chair. Have painted it and it looks great. Am ordering another for my husband who finds it very comfortable. There is a slight split in the wood but hopefully nothing too serious.

People laughed when we said we were buying a couple of rocking chairs, joking we were getting old before our time. The chairs arrived, relatively easy to put up and ready for use. All the doubters have been round and once they tried them out have been won round. I agree that they are slightly narrower, but still very comfy. I like to deal with trueshopping as their customer care is excellent. No problem too small, I would buy from them again.

Took around 40 minutes to put together. Er indoors liked it so I had to buy another one.
Thought it wasnt going to be comfortable but I was wrong.
Love the wide arms for food & drink. Glad mine didnt have an indentation for a glass as I would imagine it would fill up with rain water.
Dont know yet if the arms will split being so wide only time will tell. Have bought some satin varnish to protect the wood but that is another job.

I wanted to replace an old faithful adirondack chair we’ve had sitting in our garden for a few years and they are so expensive. I was amazed and thought for this price what’s the catch? Read the reviews, bought the chair, it arrived promptly, really well packaged with all bits present. It took me half a day to assemble with a power screwdriver (I was expecting this as others had said), and when I had finished it did look very new and piney. 2 coats of glossy paint later (bright green) and I can honestly say thank you Amazon Reviewers. It was a brilliant buy, fantastic value for money, and I do not know what we would have done without it this long hot summer.
