Bought this for my mum as her previous headset started going. She absolutely loves them. As a gamer she said the sounds are clear and when we’re in a chat I’ve notice that they have very good noise cancelling and I can’t hear anything else going on around her.
They are breathable and she mentioned how comfortable they are even with her glasses on! They don’t hurt her ears or push in the side of her head like other headsets!

good quality audio, not the best quality ever but very good for the price you pay. can go really loud as well if you have the turtle beach mixer (sold separately but i have from a previous TB headset) ear pads are comfy but overall headset feels slightly heavy. mic feedback is good too, good quality mic in my opinion despite some reviews saying it’s not so grea

Mic works good and headset works great as well. Fully compatible with my Xbox One. I didn’t want an expensive gaming headset since I hardly ever game, but when I do game I use voice chat so that’s why I wanted this. Works great. There are definitely nicer headsets out there but this one is nice for the price and I’m very happy with it. 10/10

I truly love mine. The sound and mic quality has always been amazing. I’ve owned two of this model and my first one lasted for two years, and it would still work today if my kitten hadn’t chewed up the cord.
Only negative thing I can say is that it has a cord. Turtle Beaches should really look into making a wireless one, or at least one where you can replace the cords should they get damaged. Like a double ended auxiliary cord with and headset input.

Besides that, it’s a 10/10

My husband loves these: comfortable fit, adjustable mic and a good sound. I personally love them because I don’t need to hear any monster explosion noises while he plays 😀 you can switch background sounds to be played on tv / through the headse

I bought these to replace my Hyper X Cloud Alpha headset, for the reason that the headband and ear pads were pealing after just over a year of use. Although the headband on these Recon 500’s isn’t fabric, the ear pads are. The mic quality seems better than the Cloud Alpha, but I can’t tell with regard to the sound quality. I use these to listen to music and I don’t feel they are worse than the Alpha’s.

Some people noted that the headphones don’t exactly fit on large heads, which worried me, but I expanded them to the maximum and they fit fine on me. I do feel that the Alpha’s had a greater range of size options, but for the majority of people these will probably fit fine.

Purchased these turtle beach headphones as a replacement for my astro a40’s which were getting a bit over used. I’m not used to closed back headphones with complete isolation so that took some getting used To. The sound quality is good, there’s no argument there but it’s not great or perfect. It’s LOUD and competent. You are going to be able to get enough out of them to be ok. But it just sounds off. Not terrible, just not quite right somehow. I’ve also noticed a immediate issue with the wire when plugged in to my dualsense, it can suddenly have a fit of crackling and fuzz out of no where, only cure is to unplug and plug back in. Overall for a sale price these are going to be absolutely fine. For someone looking for something special? Try something else

Super comfortable over the year headset for my Xbox series X. The earphones are covered in a fabric that I find more comfortable than “pleather” that you found on other gaming headsets. The sound quality is great win matched with the Doe B Atmos app on the Xbox. No one will be sneaking up behind me anymore!

+Mikrofon ist gut, besser als das von den allermeisten Bluetooth-Kopfhrern (besser als Arctis 7, schlechter als HS80)

I had to return these because they did not fit my head. The band was digging into my scalp and the cans were pulling upwards on my ears. If there were a few more notches on the headband I would have kept them. The mic quality is excellent and the cans sound fantastic. It’s such a shame because I really liked the way these things sounded.
