If you’re looking at buying this vacuum, then like me you’ve tried Dyson and Shark already and have been thoroughly disappointed. I think having the bag for eliminated the pain of overly sensitive filters. I have 2 Spaniels who love muddy puddles and the resulting fine brown dust everywhere was just too much for the branded vacuums. This Vacmaster is a little more industrial looking but it works really well. I wish I’d bought it years ago and that would have saved me hundreds of pounds and frustrating hours hours faffing about with filters!
Attachments are great, hose is longer for useful car cleaning jobs. Lead is the correct length. Power is good and took power switch useful. I feel the attachments and stronger longer hose make it well worth the purchase.
Good wet and dry vac, works better without the collection bag. The internal filter protector bag is a good idea prevents the filter clogging up. All in all good ki
I purchased this for my CNC machine. I was badly in need of this method of keeping the dust under control. It has not yet fully been tested but early results are very pleasing.
The manual, such as it is, is not worth the paper it’s printed on, however to assemble the machine you hardly need it. Construction of the wheels, handle etc all seem good and strong. So far I am very pleased with it.
1st day using on my site. I am impressed so far my only criticism is if not using a bag you have to lift the drum up to empty.

Having reached the stage where we are very disappointed with the major players in the vacuum cleaner market I decided to carry out extensive research in the wet/dry/power take off market and this is my choice. The power take off whilst sanding is amazing and the vacuum “takes no prisobers”. My one criticism is the size of the front wheels. There are four wheels but I feel that the front two, that is the ones that are closest to the hose outlet and so at the front when pulling the vacuum over the floor, should be a larger diameter wheel. Some of the vacuums I rejected for various reasons did have larger diameter front wheels. So why do I want bigger front wheels? Simple, it gets stuck on its own supply cable and struggles to ride over it Not a big deal but a bit annoying. Having said all of this it is an amazing vacuum and my garage floor gas never looked so “dust free”. I bought another six dust bags on a seperate order just so that we are ready.
An excellent quality product which I use as a workshop dust extracter. It is very powerful and very quiet… unlike regular dust extractors.

Long hose and large capacity make this vac particularly good. I use mine for direct dust extraction on my rail saw and chop saw and also for cleaning up site when a job is complete. Im very happy with reliability and performance. Ive had this vac for about 4 monthe now with no problems.
This is my second vac from vacmaster, i went back to vacmaster for an upgrade as their customer service is excellent. My previous vac had an issue, i contacted them and they sent a replacement part next day.
I highly recommend this for site work in particular, its heavy weight, sturdy construction makes keeping site clean an absolute breeze!
Bought this to go with the evolution table saw and it does the job well. Does it full up quickly, yes it does. Is it mean to be a pro grade dust extraction system, absolutely not. It does however work perfectly for a small shed shop 🙂
When mine came one of the hose holders was broken but a quick email to vacmaster sorted this and the sent a replacement part within a couple of days.
It really helps take the dust out of the air… excellent and easy to operate

Have to say cracking piece of kit. Great for picking up dust and bits or rubbish. Not used for water yet but so far so good. Great value for money
Easy to put together, incredibly sturdy and well made and really powerful. Easy to change the bags, which even in my new build house full of joiners last ages. A great item and very well priced.

Arrived early, and upon inspection there was no PTO outlet… went back to look at my order and the model again, getting ready to have a rant at the manufacturer, when I then discovered that only the SMALLER models have the PTO. The problem is, they lump all the reviews and Q&As for their entire range together, which can be very misleading. So, if you need PTO, like me, don’t go for the 50L. That being said…
I can’t fault it for suction, will pick up anything not nailed down.
The Hepa filter has a second pre filter over it, so coupled with using the dust bag inside and after over a week of use, the filter is still clean as a whistle.
Whilst cumbersome due to its size, its not that heavy. The power cord is 9M long and the hose its pretty long too, so its quite easy to leave planted in a spot and do all your clean up, then move it etc. Don’t think its really designed for dragging it around.
As it doesn’t have PTO, it doesn’t come with a power tool adapter like others. I believe the inside radius of the hose nozzle was 44mm, so you’ll have to get an adapter to fit it to most power tool dust ports, then switch it on manually.
Its pretty loud, a little whiny. When the bag is empty it seems to chill out a bit more, but then whats the point of making it 50L if you have to empty it after filling 20L??
Overall I’m pleased with it, the Head filter for fine dust was the main selling point for me. I dont belive the 38L version had that from memory but could be wrong. If it did I would’ve gone for that model instead.
Good at what it does, not 100% suited to my other or a workshop needs, but thats my fault and I can easily work around it.
Really impressed with this device. The auto on and off switch for power tools is a brilliant addition making it so easy as a dust extractor too.
Bought this for dust extraction on my mitre saw and it works great. Good suction a good length of hose and cable make it extremely versatile.
We chose the L50 due to its specs and positive Vacmaster reviews in the UK /US (they can’t make them all up).
This is a big, solid machine, and certainly powerful! On arrival, it deep cleaned the whole house in minutes. Afterwards, we had to check we still had a dog.
Highly recommended.
