VEATON 800W Portable Garden Water Pump with 1″ Female Thread, Garden Jet Pump for Sprinkler and Water Pressure Booster(Single Machine)

GARDEN PUMP
1

Tips:

1. The max suction height is 8m and it takes some time before automatic pumping.

2. Adding some pilotage water to the head of the pump will help accelerate the flow rate of inlet. The closer water inlet pipe and the pump is, the better the effect.

3. Impurities are not allowed in the water and there is a jam if the diameter is more than 2mm.

Works really well on our large water butt. Just connected the hose to the tap on the pump and then used like normal, provides good pressure.

Purchased this to replace an old inadequate pump in the garden to feed a hose from the water buts. Great device and really pleased.

This is an excellent little pump with plenty of power. Would highly recocomend it.
It is easy to set up and has alot of power.
I would recommend buying the hoses, that are not included with the pump, from you local DIY shop so you get the correct size and type.
I have used lay flat hose for the outlet and rigid for the inlet.
Again its a really good pump and its good price also

A flexible pump has various connections so you should be able to connect it to various water outlets. Provides me with the pressure I need. Even has some potential tape in box. Not to noisy but can be heared.

Bought this to fill up our water tank, which it does in no time at all, brilliantly powerful an high flow, just use the correct size hose (1″) and it’s fine.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersGreat pump. Buy with the recommended hose and it’s a beast. I use it to water the flowers after my daughter has played in the paddling pool. It provides enough pressure from the back garden to water the front garden.
    Cannot recommend it more
Didn’t get 5 stars cos the faff to buy the correct piece that you an then attach your garden hose to (output) was too much.
As per most of the reviews, if the ads-one could be included then nailed in 5 stars

Used as seen in pic, good suction, you will need a few extra bits depending on how you want to use the pump. 1” tubing and connectors etc. Once you purchase the extras it does push the price up of your project, the pump itself is easy to use just make sure you have it primed before use. Used to pump water from an irrigation tank 3m deep, does it with ease. I also intend to try it on a well we have but that is 10m deep, which is beyond the spec of this pump and I need a long tube!!

    Better than I expected.

i bought this to run a watering system from an IBC, i get better water pressure than i do from the mains, and it also works well as a transfer pump to move water from various rain butts to the main IBC.
power cable is very short and asits used outside i had to run an external extension lead

manual is chinglish and takes a little to understand but the pump itself is very simple to use .
you do need to buy an input pipe and a fitting to reduce to 1/2 inch pipe connectors to use with a hose lock fitting however.

Nothing to dislike about this nifty pump but could do with a longer power lead great pressure for watering the garden even runs two lawn sprinklers

I’ve bought cheaper pumps in the past that have been terrible quality, but this seems very well made, is quiet, and produces a lot of pressure. Been using it for the last few months and very happy with it.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersHad recently bought a couple of garden sprinklers that were daisy chained. Trouble is our water pressure isn’t very strong, happens to the best of us, so looked for something that could increase my sprinklers distance.
I was quite surprised at the size and how well made this pump is. Feels nice and solid. Slightly disappointed that it didn’t have the connections for a 3/4in hose adapter but it just at a 1″ adapter and then another that was a 1″ to some large hose adapter.
So I had to purchase a 1″ female to 3/4in hose apapter and a 1″ male to 3/4in hose adapter and then I could connect between by outside tap and existing hose to the sprinklers.

Instantly the pressure was double what it was before , see my photos of before and after.
The pump makes a bit of a noise but nothing too obtrusive .

I’ve set it up on a smart plug so when I have my garden tap turn on the pump can start up via my phone.

    Great pump

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWhen I ordered this pump I missed that it did not have either standard Gardena/Hozelock connectors. Luckily I had the necessary adaptors in my possession. It would be nice if these were included. The pump works beautifully with great water clearance rate; I am using it clear a flooded balcony. If the adaptors were included I would have given it five star.

It’s the seals, of course, that will fail first. The bearings are then going to rust and it’s going to sound like a cement mixer full of rocks. It will fail to start turning a few times, but will run after the fan blades have been rotated by hand. Then, one day, it will seize solid. That’s the life of most water pumps like this – whether you pay sixty quid or double that.

So, if you want a pump that will run for decades, without needing replacement – look elsewhere. You’ll have to pay several hundred quid for one. It will probably have ceramic seals on the water pump in addition to the motor seals. Have a drainage/pressure relief gap between the two – so water isn’t forced into the motor bearings.

I expect that I will get 4 to 5 years from this one. Then I’ll unplug it, undo the inlet and outlet pipes and pop something very similar in its place. About a pound a month for a pump. Can’t be bad.

This has been brilliant, drawing from my underground tank to water my garden. Super pressure for hosepipe and sprinkler. I fitted a pressure switch to control it to my hosepipe water demand

Replacement for Hoselock pump (which worked well for many years then electrical fault). Cheap so thought worth a try, very happy so far.

    Easy to use.
Clears 6″ of water from a large cellar quickly which is probably 8 feet below ground level.
    Quick delivery.
Does exactly what I want it to do.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI was skeptical as to its indicated power, however after using it I am pleasantly surprised at its prowess. After testing, I would recommend that you prime the motor fully ( fill it until water comes out the top) as it reduces the time to fully prime by seconds. It is easy to assemble the supplied handle. Would highly recommend this product.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our Userswas looking for a pump to live outside to help filter water from my hot tub, was a little concerned as the hot tub water is 40 degs and the pump is rated at 35 degs….. after 2 months of use the pump has worked perfectly with no issues.
    great piece of kit.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought this to drain standing water in garden. Worked flawlessly even though I basically abused it badly (left in rain, half under water for days, repeatedly let air into pump, etc.). Very pleased with results!

Great little pump at a good price. You do need to buy the hoses & fittings separately but these are easy to find on Amazon.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersA great value pump with lots of pressure. I am using it fed from water butts with only about 1m of static head and it still puts out higher pressure than my mains feed.

It has 1″ fittings so a trip to the plumbing shop will be needed for most applications.

The thermal cutoff kicks in after about 10 minutes to let it cool down so it doesn’t run continuous but it will shift a few hundred litres before getting too hot.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersGreat pump – works well and does the job, but would’ve been helpful to have some connectors included. Once we had the right fittings it has been easy to run and use.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersThis is an excellent product which has increased the water sprinkler distance covered by three times the previous area covered due to low water pressure. Highly recommended.
