I liked the matt black finish and the base is very sturdy

Easy to assemble – love the black colour – very good value, much less expensive than others I have see
I struggled a bit assembling it, the base is very heavy so screwing in the top part was tricky to do alone. The part the shade hangs on is plastic and the shade itself is metal so I’m a little worried about the weight of it but so far so good. Love how it looks.

Perfect for over a dining table. Great alternative to nstalling costly drop down ceiling lights, and if you move your dining table to can move the lamp too!

I have a 40w vintage bulb in it but may be brighter with non vintage or bigger wattage bulb if that’s what you wanted.

This is a surprisingly affordable lamp that is easy to assemble, pretty sturdy and looks amazing. We don’t mess with it though except for a bit of dusting! It has a heavy marble veined base and we got the copper shade which is simple but lovely. We have it in a dark corner and the ambient light is warm inviting. Worth it.
Bought this and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this lamp. The base is very heavy so feels sturdy. I built this by myself so can be built by 1 person but would be easier with 2. Love the look and sits at a great height above our sofa.
Looks fab in our new room and gives off a lovely light. We did invest in a more energy-efficient bulb.
Would defo recommend to anyone thinking of investing in one of these beauties!

A gorgeous lamp, that was pretty good quality. I returned as it didn’t fit with my space but sure it would be fantastic in the right spot.
Slightly marked on the base but not really visible in position, but still a shame.

Fits perfectly in my living room. Definitely worth the money.
I just placed it close to the sofa but as I am working from home on occasion I move it/turn it to give me more light on the table.
It is also easy to put all the pieces together.

We loved this! It looked lovely in our bedroom . Very modern and the lighting is cool and relaxing.
Like the lamp but not the shade so have changed it. The lamp is very sturdy and am pleased. Shade looks space aged or like an old hairdryier you had at hairdressers years ago.
It Was a present for my daughter birthday. She loves it.
I managed to assemble it myself with no problems at all.Since my daughter has a cat I was worried about the lamp stability but there wasn’t anything to worry about.the marble base gives it the stability it needs without taking out stile.

Like previous reviews sadly our first lamp base arrived with a chip in it so we returned it. No hassle getting a replacement and it arrived really quickly. Love the lamp, bought it for our new holiday home and it looks great.
Is good material and color but the “arm ” it’s a bit short to the place I was planing to put . You can easily bump your head

Lovely quality lamp for the price. Well worth it and looks really good over my chair.
Very simple instructions to assemble. A spanner and a thin Alan key are included to assemble – no other tools required. The base is nice and heavy and gives the whole thing a quality feel. Takes a E27 size screw bulb. I’d recommend.

Good lamp, certainly worth the money. Had some problems with the order (basically ordered 2 lamps & only received 1). Talked to Amazon and the manufacturer with limited success. Once made aware of the issue the supplier, Home Goods UK, stepped up to the plate and ensured I got both lamps ASAP. If this is the usual standard of service from Home Goods then would have no issues ordering from them again.
Lovely gold shade and easy to direct light where required.
Black stand is nice although screw bits are quite fiddly. V. Heavy stand though so feels stable.
