The Tool-Check Plus features the ultra-strong Zyklop Mini 1 bit ratchet with a fine 60 tooth reversible ratchet mechanism that provides a small return angle of only 6°. Capable of withstanding up to 100Nm of torque, it could be the strongest mini bit ratchet on the market. Perfect for confined spaces, the Zyklop Mini 1 needs only 25 mm clearance when using 25 mm screwdriver bits. The grooved thumb wheel allows for rapid screwdriving, even in the most of compact spaces. Sockets can be attached onto the ratchet via a 1/4″ adaptor, with a ball bearing for a secure fit of sockets onto the ratchet. After 6month use –
It’s is overpriced, but it is a handy little set for a small toolbox and has the Wera quilty that really does feel great in the hand. The tiny rachet packs a punch, and I’m surprised by how often I use it
A couple of issues I have
> The clip that held the rachet in place came off a little too easy, and I have to store it separately
> The button to release the bits has become stiff
I would like to see a bit of better design in the storage of rachet, but apart from that it is a great little ki
The usual Wera excellent build quality but I really regret not buying one of the Wera 8100 SA sets instead as the case is far superior. Also, the 1/4″ driver size means the ratchet is tiny in this set and not suitable for any stubborn nuts
easy to have as an emergency toolkit, not very sturdy though. The plastic parts, especially the screwdriver handle holder, is a matter of time untill it falls off.
By the way I would like to mention that I accidentally noticed that Amazon rased the final pricing on checkout by a few cents, which while is not a lot of money, it is quite annoying and made me feel cheated. I have been unable to contact Amazon customer service as I cannot find a complaints contact form. Makes me wonder whether it was on this product only or if it happens on othes as well!

The quality is so good you don’t even have to know tools to truly appreciate it – my girlfriend immediately said “oh these are so easy to use and they don’t slip!” and indeed they don’t – so long as you choose the correct bit you can say goodbye to annoying rounding-out of heads – the bits themselves must be made of tough stuff because after quite a bit of use now they’re still almost as-new. Add on the brilliantly designed bit holder, which grips the socket or bit firmly until you release it by raising the holder’s little collar, so no more crawling around on cold ground looking for bits you’ve dropped, nor do the bits stick in the bit head, meaning you have to go in with pliers to retrieve it – not with these tools you don’t. Works first time every time.
Bonus is that girlfriend has now got the bug for home cycle maintenance so I no longer have to do it for her – she feels empowered enough to tackle any cycle task with ease, thanks to this brilliant tool set. Thoroughly recommended!
I have many Wera tools and this is a handy addition. Only 4 stars as the handle really is too small to grip well especially if you have big hands. Limited number of sockets, but key ones there.
It’s wera…. Tools are genuinely the best I have used. The ratchet has a lot of clicks per rotation and feels so pleasing in the hand.

My brother bought it for my birthday a couple of years ago for our motorcycle trips abroad!
When I said little it is! It’s tiny which is great for a motorcycle!
It’s top quality gear, the tiny ratchet handle is as hard as nails! I put an adjustable wrench on the end of it as a bolt was too tight for the leverage of the short handle and swang on it and it took the abuse!
I tiny screwdriver handle means that you can get into the tightest of places!

I’ve owned this set for a while and use it on a daily basis at work. It’s extremely handy to have such a compact and lightweight kit in your pocket. This kit has taken a lot of abuse and is holding up very well, I highly recommend this product and wouldn’t hesitate to buy this or any other Wera products again.

The kit is incomplete.
There is only one flathead bit – so I have spent money for flatheads 5 sizes and removed the gold coloured bits for them.
Also – I purchased a cheap zipper bag that fits the entire product perfectly.
Other than the lack of flatheads –
It looks robust
Is a nice small size
Everything in one place
Mini screwdriver is a nice touch and everything that needs to be is magnetic.
What’s not to like –
Purchased with my own money and I love it.

I love this kit, and it will live in my laptop bag from now on.
It very small. Do not expect to be changing the big end on a tractor with this kit.

As others have said, needs a few flat heads for terminals. Easily solved though, I just took some from my drill set. (who ever would use a 2.5mm flat with a power drill?)
There are a few duplicates in the set, so this means you can remove those and have everything.
Would I buy another? I just did.
If you have an engineer in your life and you need a present, this is what they want. Trust me.
If you are an engineer this is a great set, use this daily for working on aircraft and simulation devices and has yet to disappoint. Overall a great set for working in a small area and great quality

I absolutely love this bit of kit, kept on borrowing my brother’s Wera (He doesn’t know so Shush!) So bought one for myself!
May look a wee bit pricey but this is very good quality, should last a very long time.
I had forgotten about Wera tools, having had a very small kit years ago, now obtaining this set I remember the sheer joy in their use.
The quality, the design, the thought that has gone into this product is peerless..
The build quality is superb. The way the tools are presented is brilliant (once you have worked out the catches). This will replace my very aged mini tools set and is certainly more durable. Sad thing is they will outlast me as long as the children don’t borrow them!!!
It’s a great compact kit, a thing of beauty. The screwdriver handle and ratchet are tiny, ideal for tight locations.
Sadly as others have said, the selection of bits could have made it 5 stars all the way. They have Torx and Security Torx with the hole in (they work on non-security torx screws) and a lot of doubling up on cross heads but only one flat bit.
Should have had a No 0 Philips head for my bike helmet light screws I needed it for tonight! Also more flat heads and instead of plain torx some security bits like tri-wing etc.
If they could make a 15mm 1/4″ socket that would be ace for my bike!

Very pleased with this trouserable service kit.
I would have liked some form of pliers, to make it truly fit what I would use it for, but it will more than do. Will swap out a few bits as there’s only one flat blade and it’s too fat for fine screws.
I use this tool kit for work and on my motorbike. Has everything I need along with the small tool kit you get with the bike. Easy storage under bike seat. Tool set is robust and seems well made.
I love Wera tools. The quality of this set is superb. Versatile and useful to have in the kitchen drawer (although mine is in my tool chest in the locked shed where my wife can’t get her hands on it and try to open a bottle of wine with it).
Bought this due to it’s compact size and weight and being Wera you’re getting quality. Been using this for the past 3 months and cannot fault it. Great for the BMS engineers or maintenance technicians, allows the use of all the bits in small and tight spaces. The ratcheting socket is great and solidly built, it hasn’t failed to remove any 5.5mm to 13mm nuts and has surprised me on how much force you can put these through. I highly recommend this for RC hobbyists also, has everything you could possible need.

I have a lot of Wera drivers etc and have never had problems with them.
They may be more expensive than some other manufacturers but reliability is top marks on my score

Quality kit, bought it for the mini socket set as i work inside of boilers all day and always find it difficult to get into the small spaces with larger socket sets.
Make sure the plastic slider at the top Is fixed across properly, if not the ratchet will fall out- only downside
As a gas engineer, I have no idea how I used to service boilers without this tool, I use it pretty much daily and it has saved me on many occasions! Would 100% recommend to anybody in this profession.
Only problem is all the bits have gone rusty at this point, but I have had it for a couple of years now

Was amazed how compact this was, it is great for working in tight spaces and despite being small it is certainly strong.
I work on various different types of Electrical installations and it comes in very handy. Especially as all electrical sundries seem to have varying access screws. So having Hex, Torx and Security bits in one set was incredibly handy.
All in all I’d recommend, but I’m a massive Wera fan 🙂

This set I bought to replace a kit that I have had for over 30 years now which was rather worse for wear. I’ve used this tool kit at work and found them really good quality with all the items you most need in a portable compact kit! Have not had an issue will let you know if they last as long as my previous kit (albeit it was a different manufacturer) … if I’m still around!

Awesome bit of kit. Used to death, every single day. Holding up very well. Quality is great and very durable.
These sets are incredible. Much longer life than anything else out there. The bit holder has finally started to lock up after about 3 years daily usage. This is using it both in the ratchet set and in a drill driver. So very happy with the life span. The bits don’t round off easily. Only issue I found is the lack of a 2.5mm hex. I obtained a pack of these and store one in the mini driver handle on the side of this set.

Superb product. Very small and light weight with good quality tools. The screw driver is hard to get any force on due to the size, would be better with a t-bar shaped driver but all in all, a very good product.

An EXCELLENT piece of kit, hence the price, you only get what you pay for.
A very versitile tool kit that is easily underestimated.
I have used this for over 2 years now and I don’t think there is a single day that goes by where I am not using this in some way, and makes all the difficult jobs easier and impossible ones, possible!
Every time I get this out of my bag colleagues or other contractors are always interested in it, joke about stealing it, or even worried about me leaving it on the side somewhere in case it might go missing.
Just today my car’s fuel pipe split and the jubilee clips were in highly inaccessible places. No problem for this little mini wrench and socket. Perfect life saver.
Recommended for any trade or home, takes up no space but so much versatility in one tiny package!
Further edit /update:
Radiator in rented cottage was hanging off the wall (on the top section of the bracket). Put a wall anchor in the existing hole (incorrectly, they used a normal wall plug in chipboard with a cavity), and remounted radiator without having to disconnect anything.
This tool set as been a god send.

Small & compact with a slight struggle easing parts in/out. But, still a great concept and a good, decent quality product.

Fantastic quality. Great selection of bits although as someone else has commented a few slotted bits of different sizes would have been more useful instead of just one. The other thing THat would make it perfect is an extension piece. But overall a great piece of kit.
Wera tools are a considered purchase, but I expect them to outlast me.

I bought it just before starting a new job as a maintenance engineer with a new company and decided to buy myself a present. This is always in my tool bag and it’s gotten me out of some scrapes, especially in cramped spaces like tightening loose basin taps where a normal ratchet or spanner just can’t go or using the screwdriver part when you can’t find that stubby you probably left on another site!
The build quality is all I expected from Wera. It’s a little pricey but this will last a long time. I’m glad I bought it.
My second Wera bit set and won’t be my last. Excellent gear worth the extra money.

The kit suits my needs as a mobile engineer and lives in my laptop bag with a Wera VDE screwdriver roll. This provides 80% of the tools I need in a compact form. In addition the numerous odd jobs at home where traditional Allen keys, etc aren’t suitable the kit had paid for itself time after time.

Fantastic little set. The only negative, as mentioned elsewhere is the single flat-head driver bit.
I was expecting a slightly bigger racket. Its really tiny. However its very usefull for working in tight spots. Good quality. Very handy set to have.
The tools themselves are fantastic and have been great as a quick fix option in a pinch but the case they all come in has a lot to be desired.
It does not curve at the back to fit nicely to your hip so it is like wearing a small brick, it is fairly heavy, the clip is open at the bottom and is not very strong so a quick upwards knock easily dislodges the whole thing and the sockets, whilst fastened fairly tight are vulnerable to being knocked off. If you plan on climbing up and down ladders all day and doing a lot of bending then I wouldn’t bother trying to carry them that way, which is a shame because the way the bits pop out is perfect when on the hip. Poorly executed.
All that said I still carry the tools everywhere and they have proved to be super useful. All of the sockets, bits and the adapter are currently housed in an altoids tin in the same pouch as the ratchet and driver handle. The case itself has been thrown in a box at home.
Use near ever day so handy well made and think under price as have spent more on other bigger names and makes wich do hold candle to these tools
A colleague had one of these and I found it really useful. I searched for ages for something similar (didn’t want to simply copy someone else) but couldn’t find anything with the same amount of tools and bits that wasn’t twice the size, not even for more money.
The only minor flaw, with all of these screwdriver bits there is only one flathead. Could have done with an extra one, something slightly smaller that would fit electric terminals.

Cracking little tool set. And I mean little. Excellent for fiddly jobs, and for portability.
Top quality and the ratchet allows you to get surprising torque on screws. Not good if you’ve got unusually large hands. Good range of bits, although only one flat head and a whole load of star bits that you won’t use…unless your thing is dismantling the changing screens in public swimming rooms.

Absolutely brilliant. Ok, it may seem expensive for such a compact set, but it’s the quality of materials and design is what you pay for here. This will replace the need for lots of my screwdrivers, and hence will save a lot of space when lugging tools around. If there are better tools on the market – well, I don’t think I need to know about them. The packing of this is so clever, and a great way to keep all the bits etc together. I keep finding that quality is cheapest in the long run.
A superbly crafted set. The other 5 star reviews are spot on. Expensive so don’t lose it and never lend it to anyone as you may not get it back. Only criticism is that there is just one slotted screw bit. Seems odd when there are several duplicates – admittedly of the most popular bits. I have now bought three other sizes of slotted bits and replaced some of the PZ bit duplicates.
Build quality is excellent & should last a long time. Having the various bits & sockets in one place is useful. I have only used it a few times & find it a little bit “fiddly” to use & I wish the extension piece was longer. I have to admit to owning various other ratchet screwdrivers & socket sets so perhaps I need more practice with it. It is a useful addition to my tool box, but considering the high price I was hoping for something more user friendly.
outright the most useful tool ive ever bought nice sturdy mini ratchet, bits for pretty much any job, sockets only come off if you want them to so no fear of losing them, very robust plastic frame as i have dropped it a few times and still nothings broken, only downside if your a metalworker is the screwdriver has a powerful magnet so expect a metal beard on it by the end of the day 🙂
Top quality German made tool. Versatile collection of bits and hex wrench parts. Screwdriver handle and hex ratchet wrench a bit on the small side but work fine. Rapidaptor part is handy for power-tool work.This is a good introduction to the Wera range. Expensive. Will last a lifetime.
First thing is it is very compact! So those expecting something huge don’t be fooled by its size,it has taken a lot of abuse in my job and is still in good shape (apart from the stubby screwdriver holder breaking off,my collegue did that not me!)
The bits and sockets are very well made and a good selection is given…however! This is where I said in the headline….almost perfect….like a previous reviewer said its only got one slotted/flat screwdriver bit,yet almost all the other pieces are in doubles,this is why Iv given it 4 out of 5 stars,since then Iv bought more flat/slotted bits and removed some of the doubles to make space for them.
So be it for the car,work,hobbyist,flat pack furniture,maintaince or just for the tool kit at home this set will not disappoint nor will it break on you easy,the price tag is high but buy cheap and you’ll be buying it again within a few months.granted there are cheaper sets out there but Iv owned wera products for home and work and I can honestly say they are worth their price as there durability and build are second to none,right up there with snap-on, bahco,king dick and britool
Lovely compact set for the tool box. It’s clearly no substitute for a proper socket set, but for many maintenance and repair task it’s just the ticket.

Wera are good tools they are expensive but if you can afford it they are worth the extra. This set is a work of art. So nice to handle.
This is quite simply a thing of beauty, it’s so thoughtfully designed and all the pieces feel superb quality. It’s made in the Czech Republic, not Germany, but that isn’t a problem unless you buy into a brand for where it’s made and that’s just not how the world is any more. The entire set exudes quality. Among all the bits there is only one slotted bit, the rest are Pozi, Torx and hex.
Absolutely brilliant set. Normally these all in one sets are a bit of a gimmick but this does everything it’s meant to do and does it brilliantly. Used every day in my engineering job, and fits perfectly in your pocket. Cannot rate high enough
Wera tools are great quality and worth every penny. This set is almost perfect except for one thing, the screwdriver handle is too small and I don’t even have giant hands.

I did think this would be bigger and wall mountable but I didn’t read the description correctly, still a fantastic bit of kit.
What more could you need? The quick release chuck and bits are compatible with other Wera kits that hold 1/4” hex bits. The handle is smaller than you think, which is great as a backup for confined spaces. Fantastic buy, I am so impressed by Wera, I have since bought 4 other Wera products.
