My dog likes to sleep in the window sill, i like to my dog to remain alive, so i got this. Really easy to put up, especially if you measure everything first before putting any screws into the bars. Makes my bedroom look like a prison cell, but its worth it to be able to open my windows.

I bought these for piece of mind as my kids are in a small room each with the bunk bed ladder very close to the window. In summer the window is often wide open so I wanted to be sure no accidents happened. In my younger boy’s room I needed to be sure even if he climbed on the sill then there would be no danger when the window was open. I slept better knowing they were safe. They are super easy to install, as simple as a stair gate, and I’m pretty sure even I could hang off them and they wouldn’t budge. No fixings needed, just pressure fit. Very happy I got them even if it did look a bit funny looking if someone looks at the window from the outside; I really didn’t care. Our windows open super wide, so safety was essential until they got so big falling out by accident would be very difficult.
