I've been using cheap wire strippers/crimpers for a rewiring project on my boat. I finally decided to try a dedicated crimping tool and one made for insulated connectors. Bought these for use in a van off grid project. They have worked very well for all the connections I’ve made so far. Might have considered the other styles as I needed to make MC4 connections and this particular model did not come with the replaceable jaws for that connector. Endlich eine vernünftige Crimpzange Nach Jahren der Improvisation habe ich mir endlich mal eine “richtige” Crimpzange gekauft. Seit dem sind meine Kabelverbindungen deutlich besser als frher mit der billigen Universalzange. Der “Doppel-Crimp” quetscht Kabelschuh und Kunststoffmantel gleichzeitig. Das Ergebnis ist fast zu zugfest, wie geltet. Ich war so zufrieden mit dieser Zange, dass ich mir spter noch die Wechsel-Zange und diverse Kabel-Backen dazugekauft habe.

One which I needed was die #C which does open barrel connectors, and another die which I don’t need which does ferrels, a very specialized kind of connector used in automotive audio systems. Einfach spitzenmäßig !!! Mein Mann ist ein Handwerker und tftelt auch zu Hause immer an etwas herum. Er besitzt soviel Werkzeuge, dass selbst Werkstattbesitzer, wie mein Bruder, begeistert ist. Mein Mann achtet daher eher auf Qualitt, als auf den Preis, weil dann das Arbeiten einfach Spa macht, wenn das Werkzeug vernnftig ist und in diesem Fall war er sehr begeistert
