Great cage for chinchillas. Will have to do a bit of DIY to the ledges with covering them or removing but chinchillas and enjoying so far. Love that it’s off the floor and easy to access
Really easy to put together, I did it alone. I have managed to divide the cage to separate my birds. Very easy to clean.
After reading some of the reviews, I was honestly hesitant, but the cage is perfect. My two budgies are very happy with it. Super easy to assemble as long as you’ve had a little experience with flat pack furniture. I was able to do it by myself in less than an hour. I had no issues with bent pieces or improperly lined up holes. It’s nice and sturdy and has loads of room. Very pleased.
I bought this cage for 2 Quaker parakeets. Originally hate it upright as it was meant to be, but they only ever used the top third of the cage. So to help them utilise the space better, I turned it on its side and placed on top of my sideboard. Best thing I’ve ever done! And the birds absolutely love it and use every inch now. Since it’s now breeding season, I took the grid from the stand thats no longer used, and secured it inside the cage with cable ties to act as a divider! It’s perfect.
Fantastic cage for cockatiels! They clamber up and down the ladders and swing on the spiral rope that’s included. It took 2 of us about an hour to put together. Easy to move on the castors, looks lovely and light in white; and my cockatiels are happy!
Very easy to assemble, and a really good size.
I have put the wire bottom section underneath the plastic tray so that the birds can have a foraging area.
Plenty of space for budgies, and the second will be home to 2 cockatiels.
The access into the cage is big enough for the birds to easily fly in and out.
This is my sixth Yaheetech cage and the second of this specific one. Suffice to say that I immediately ordered this second one on the day I recieved the first. My original review is below and copied here.
I would just like to add that the customer service from Yaheetech is absolutely first class. Incredibly helpful and replies to queries are very fast even on weekends and late evenings. Yaheetech make fantastic products and genuinely care about their customers and more importantly about their customer’s pets.
I liked this so much that I bought another immediately after assembling it. It’s huge and it looks beautiful. The build quality is Yaheetech’s usual high standard, everything fits really well and moving parts slide easily. The wheels are high quality and roll well and the cage feels stable whilst being moved. The wheels are small though and may struggle with a tiled floor. The rope toy included is decent enough and generously long and the metal ladders and platforms offer lots of options. I actually have the ladders lying flat to give ‘L’ shaped platforms at two levels. You could almost divide the cage top and bottom with them if you chose to. The main doors are enormous and I love the fact that they open all the way flat against the cage, that’s a really nice touch. Assembly is a little tricky purely due to the size but clear instructions make sure it’s not complicated and it didn’t take me more than forty minutes on my own. Two people would be able to put it together a lot more easily. All in all if you’re looking for a big high quality beautiful looking cage that will last a lifetime then I can’t recommend this enough.
Nice cage good strong locks, but parrot can lift up feed slides. Perches too thin for larger birds.
Bought this cage a few years ago. Easy to assemble [well it was for my husband]. It is well made and looks good, easy to clean and no problems. Decided to use existing cage for the summer in garden,new one indoors. Would definitely recommend. What more can I say- oh yes, my parrot is a blue fronted Amazon

I very rarely write reviews,but this cage deserves one,delivery came early,bonus, all the cage pieces are zip tied together so no movement during transport, another bonus,all pieces and bolts etc supplied,perches and water/food bowls supplied,another bonus,instructions very easy my 18 year old decided to put this together,he managed fine,while I was twiddling my thumbs annoying him (he normally lives in his bedroom and only exits when his belly is in his back),he put the cage together in 45 mins that’s in between him shouting at me that he can do it himself!! Anyways after putting in the perches and toys ,also the free rope toy that comes with the cage,it was time to catch my two pearl cockatiels,well I thought the cage they were in before was big,this cage is a mansion,they have so much space they don’t even want to come out daily anymore and are content,I recommend anyone who is thinking of upgrading to choose this bird mansion,yes it’s a big chunk out of your pocket at this day and age,but I guarantee you will not need another cage, now the 18 year old has gone back Into hibernation and I am left with the cleaning up
Lovely Large Spacious cage….For my finches! They seem to LOVE it! They play with their swings in it…..fly certain amount… thus exercising their wings. Hop from perch to perch. They seem V Happy in their New Beautiful Home!
I still let them out to fly in the room…As they like doing that also!

Assembling was quite easy! I did it by myself! I only needed help to lift the quite heavy cage onto the stand with wheels on……Which was easily done! As it fitted fine!
The Only thing is…..The colour i was expecting was White! As Advertised. But it’s whitish -silver! I would say. Total White colour would have looked fantastic! But it doesn’t matter now…..As I’ve bought it now! Whitish-silver looks fine!

I’m very happy with the cage. It was easy to put together and really to clean. The only thing that isn’t good is the little sliding doors on the front and sides of the cage they are really easy to open from the outside and inside so it was a matter of time before my chinchillas escape. First I used zip ties but in the morning most of them had been nibbled off so my other half has bent the metal that holds the doors on tighter so there is no movement whatsoever now so I’m happy that I won’t have any furry escapes in the future. I don’t need those doors at all. Apart from that I’m very happy with the cage overall.

I bought this cage to give our little Black Capped Conure more room than her first cage and now so glad I did! It’s a really great size with plenty of room for her toys and even to flap her wings. It was simple to put together, took my wife and I 30mins to complete it. The price is excellent and the quality is brilliant for the price just wish I’d had bought this first instead of my other cage. All in all we happy a very happy birdie and that’s worth everything.
My 4 youngest budgies love the cage and the ladders that come with it.so I would recommend it to anyone who wants a cage that can fit 4 or more budgies in it and still have loads of space for them to play and fly.
Has made an excellent home for my rats. I can’t downgrade my star rating as I know this wasn’t built for rats, but beware if you have them that there is quite the gap between the tray and the bottom of the bars, so you will be having lots of bedding and droppings kicked out the cage frequently.
It is very difficult to assemble alone – took me a few hours, but would be easy enough with a partner. But it’s got fantastic room and my boys really enjoy it. If you will have rodents in there, the wire shelves aren’t great for their feet, so I would recommend cable tying some carpet off cuts to support them

Amazing cage for my 2 rats!!!! Incredibly spacious, assembly was easy with very clear instructions but definitely have a plier on hand as some wires were slightly bent out of shape and had to be bent back in order to fit. Literally fit me inside it and i’m 5ft 8 haha! Love the storage space underneath too. I took out the wire bottom and just have the smooth one in place so my boys don’t hurt their feet – the gap is easily filled with fleecy blankets and they definitely can’t fit through. Would say that cable ties are a good idea for extra security with the feeding doors as they can be moved up – can’t see my rats doing that but i’ve fixed them up as a precaution. All in all, i’m extremely happy with it and they love their new home :*)
Bought this for chinchillas. There was one punched hole missing when trying to assemble. But easy to fix if you have a husband and a bradel. Just make sure the hatches are closed as my boy escaped through one and he thought he was so clever! But love this cage as large for them to bounce around and good access to clean and tickles.

Love this bird cage! Arrived quickly and was so easy to put together. Instructions easy to follow! Very sturdy and lots of space for our parakeet to move about in. I would definitely recommend! Realized ordered white and not black after ordered but actually like the white as it’s not white white has a Grey look to it.
The cage door keeps coming off doesnt secure in but apart from that brilliant cage.this second one weve bought. Highly recommended. Plenty room to move around

This is a Fantastic Product…my partner, friends and my Landlord love it soooo bad…its really really nice. Easy to clean. no headache for assembling very easy by following the instructions thank you so much.
It was easy to put together I did it on my own in just over and hour.
Just one part of the cage at the top door didn’t fit correctly but all it needed was to remove a screw and problem easily solved.
My cockatiel is 5 months old and I originally had her in a smaller cage just while she was young but she’s settled straight in to the upgrade and is happily investigating all the different toys and levels.
I just put paper on the platforms and bottom as it is not good for their feet to walk on the bars all the time 🙂

I bought the white version of this cage which is lovely to look at and can see the birds well.
At the moment it houses 2 zebra finches and a canary. They were in a smaller cage and could not fly around very much. They have all perked up and seem to love it. They have only been in it 24 hours at the time of writing.
The cage itself is very sturdy but the plastic tray in the bottom I feel could be more substantial but time will tell.
As I have finches I was concerned that it if I took out the wire tray at the bottom the gap between the cage and the plastic tray would be too large however the plastic tray fits nicely where the wire tray should go so no gap and it works well. The wire tray will be used when I clean the plastic tray.
The cage does not fix to the wheeled base. I was concerned that when moving the cage it would not be very stable so I used 4 cable ties and this has solved the problem and is now easier to move from room to room and outside.
A couple of the thinner bars were a little bent but these were easily remedied.
One of the thinner bars has not been soldered but I don’t think it will cause a problem.
The cage was delivered earlier than stated which was a lovely surprise.
All in all I am very happy with the cage as it is attractive to look at as cages go and my birds are far more active and great to watch.

Amazing cage for rats. Took the wire shelves out to save their feet and bought a storage tub for the bottom for substrate and removed the tray. Also zip tied the little doors so the rats couldn’t figure it out and escape. Only issue was one of the sides was incorrect when putting tougher and had to use pliers but managed it in the end.

Actually bought this for my RATS. There are small doors in the sides because it is designed for birds but thar is easily remedied. I haven’t yet cleaned it so cannot comment on that. Was fairly easy to assemble with 2 people. Fits wonderfully in my alcove. I swapped the tray and grid base to help protect my rats’ feet. They seem to love the size and now have multiple layers to explore. Fantastic cage especially for the price. Extremely sturdy.

Very happy with this cage. Brought it as a replacement for a smaller one (from the same company). It’s easy to put together and very sturdy, once built.
The cage is a great size; plenty of room for your bird/s and toys. Also, very quick and easy to clean. The 1cm bar spacing means that you’ll never have to worry about your curios bird getting his little head trapped in the bars. The 2 large doors at the front with secure latches provide reassurance and great access to the cage itself. Comes with 6 perches and 6 bowls for the food and water. Small lifting doors are provided for easy placement of the bowls. The only slight problem with a couple of these is that a couple of them are a bit stiff and quite awkward to open. That being said, I don’t need to use them anyway. Also, one of the food bowl doors was fused to a bar of the cage, but it wasn’t too much of a hassle.
This will definitely suit both yours and your feathered friend’s needs and keep it happy for a long time to come. If you’re looking for a nice big cage, this is definitely the one for you. I can not recommend this strongly enough.

It’s such an amazing cage for the price! Back when I bought this cage, 2 years ago, it was only 100. Ashame about the price increase which has nearly doubled.
Honestly couldn’t fault it. Bought it when I was 15 and put it together myself as I hadn’t told my parents about it yet! My rats love it and it’s plenty big enough for any pet bird! However I wouldn’t use it for anything large such as an African grey or cockatoo as they may be able to break the bars. I was able to slightly bend some of the bars to accommodate my water bottle better, but not easily! It’s honestly a brilliant rat cage highly highly recommend to anyone looking to house up to 8 rats!!
An absolute great buy for any rat owners. My 5 boys love this, the height gives them the opportunity to climb and the large size of the cage gives me the chance to fill the cage with so many hammocks, ledges, sputniks, you name it!
For anyone that’s curious of a maximum capacity, based on 2 cubic feet per rat, this would allow a max of 8 and having 5 in there myself I can see how 8 can comfortably live in the cage.
Definitely would recommend and buy again! One last note is that the company recommends two people to build this, I can understand why but I, a novice at any flatpack, managed to build it alone in about 40mins, the only help I needed was placing it on the stand, which was due to the sheer size of the thing and navigating it accurately onto the stand.
Update from April:
Because of moving house and time delays and what have you, I bought another of this cage. This second one is unfortunately not a great as the first, mostly due to poor manufacturing which means both the trolley alone is wonky riding on three wheels and much the same for the cage. Thankfully now the cage is full and on top of the trolley the wonkiness is barely noticeable, but still not great! The price seems to also be creeping up steadily, but the cage is still a great price for the size! Still would recommend.
Bought this for my cockatiels and budgies, excellent cage, great size , plenty of room, very easy to put together, bars are a little flimsy when putting together but for the price you can’t complain, great cage would definitely recommend . Great bird cage for the price would recommend for medium to large birds not canary’s or finches. Very spacious, good for spoiled parrots! Wobbles a little but nothing major.
I had this put together in no time. Just follow the instructions and lay everything out in order (leave yourself a lot of room) and it’s a breeze. The cage fits neatly together without any sharp edges. Great size as well, I wouldn’t have a bird in a smaller cage than this to be honest. My cockatiel is very happy scuttling around in it and sometimes even goes back in to play when we leave the door open for him during the day.

I bought the cage for my two budgies. I ordered on the Monday and it came on the Tuesday so quick delivery.
The cage is amazing and my two budgies love the extra space. The colour is more of a silvery white.
It came well packaged and was easy to put together. Me and my son did it in about 35 minutes. You can use it free standing or on the base with wheels to move it around easily.
The big doors make access easy compared to our older cage. The budgies can come and go easily. The sliding tray makes cleaning easy and quick.

The 2 large doors make it easy for cleaning, made easier because the base slides out, so I just shake all the poop and food scraps out of the upper cage and it collects in the tray. The little doors mean I don’t have to open the large doors to feed treats or give scratches and risk a stealthy escape from another rat.
There’s so much room that I’m still adding more toys and beds for the boys because I didnt get many and didnt want to over crowd, but I underestimated the size of the inside hahah.
The boys love it too, there’s enough space for them to be seperate and fights rarely break out, which means there’s plenty of space for chasing and play fights in there also.
The only problem I had was the the tray, because its suppose to be the metal bars on top of the plastic, I changed them around. It made the fit real tight and hard to get the tray in and out sometimes, but that’s not because of the cage, it’s just because it the wrong way round technically haha.
All in all, I love it and would highly recommend it for pet rats.

This is a great product; it’s really sturdy and not only provides a great home for our budgies, but our ringneck can’t break in! We’ve bought so many cages and he’s managed to trash them, but this one is very solid and secure. This is brilliant value, and impressive quality. Really highly recommend.
This is a lovely cage. It is very strong and well made, and has lots of little doors for food dishes and quick access, as well as the two lovely big doors. My birds are very happy in it, and can find their way in and out very easily.

You have to change the bottom of the trays separately which is a challenge to stop the birds escaping. As you can only have the bar piece in or the plastic bottom in separate you can’t have them in together so you have to take out the plastic tray to clean it and put the bar one in its place then take out the bar one and replace it with the plastic bottom.. So between changes there’s always chance to escape.
I should have bought this cage in the first place for my 2 conures I bought a different yaheetech cage which didn’t give them much room for activities there loving this cage I’d like to buy another lower shelv as it only comes with 2 but they don’t sell them individually.

Bought this for my baby cockatiel with medium standards. I thought some bars would be bent and the rest would be poor quality, I thought that it would get banged up in shipping, but it exceeded all my expectations!
The stand is sturdy and has loads of space to store all your pets stuff, with the option to remove the stand which I thinks an amazing feature. Includes 8 food and water bowls which I only used two as water bowls. The base is meant to have a wire layer over the top then a tray underneath, but if your like me and want your bird or other pet to have a solid surface, you can easily slide the wire out and replace it with the tray. The levels and ladders included are a great feature, since my birds wings are clipped it’s a great way to move around the cage and only took him a day to work out. The top door didn’t close when I got it so I had to tweak and sand it for about 20 mintutes, but great size. The locks are amazing for a pet cage and I’m a bit obsessed with them.
Overall would recommend this cage for anyone with canaries to conures as it’s such a good size. Also would fit rats, ferrets, degus etc as it includes the levels. EOULD RECCOMEND
I was amazed by the quality and size of this product when it arrived (early!) My two budgies look tiny in their new mansion, and they love the extra flight space.
It took me around 30 minutes to put together. Have a pair of pliers handy though – some of the bars are just slightly bent, but they bend back into place easily. Once assembled, the cage is enormous and incredibly sturdy. The shelf is great for storing their food, cleaning bits and extra toys, etc. and the castors make it so easy to move in order to hoover and clean around it.
Overall it’s well worth the money, and I can see it lasting for a very long time.
We have a chinchilla and needed a bigger cage and this one is great and he has lots of space to. Overall my daughter is happy with her pets new cage.

I bought this for my two budgies, it’s fabulous and yes the cage is huge. But I love my little feathered boys so it was a no brainer to give them more room to move about, brilliant definitely recommend to bird lovers or small animals like chinchillas or rats so much space for them.
After some problems with delivery I can say it’s a brilliant cage. I’m 60 and I put it together on my own in about an hour. The plastic tray was cracked and they sent me a new one within a week. You get loads of very helpful extras. The cage is massive and very sturdy. I would definitely recommend.

This cage was bought for my Chinchilla as a cage upgrade for him, I did loads of comparing cages, bar spacings and opening doors and internal space etc, and this was definately the very best option,
This is What “I” did to make it a chinchilla palace!
Right, the wire grid at the very bottom of cage is not suitable for chinchillas (as rightly so, its a bird cage) so underneath this wire is the pull out plastic tray, I have lined it with fleece material (that I use in ALL my pet cages as it gets whipped out, swapped and washed every few days, with no mess easy peasy)
This is now the bottom of the cage, and my husband slid a precut bit of plywood underneath for stability,
So, the wire grid bottom was swapped with the wire grid that made the shelf that is underneath the cage, and the proper rigid cage bottom has been secured with cable ties and is now used as a shelf, while whe more flexible wire shelf has been utilised as a cage floor dividing cage halfway,
My husband cut out eleven bars on one half of the shelf to make a “Chinchilla sized hole” and the shelf was secured with cable ties all the way around the edge, the shelf was then lined with white 5mm foamboard bought from hobbycraft, and again covered with removeable fleece material that can be swapped and washed every few days, I clip the fleece to the cage sides with mini bulldog clips nice and taught.
We added wooden corner small furries ledges, and again cable tied cut lengths of foamboard to the two wire grid cage shelves that came with the cage, (so nice and smooth for gentle feet) and covered with removeable fleece,
So Voil, with a bit of thought and planning, (and adding all the normal chinchilla toys and hammocks) this very excellent cage, turned into a chinchilla palace,
The halfway custom made landing, with its approx 8 x 8 inch Chinchilla sized hole, is great to be able to block off when cleaning out time, leaving your small furry either top or bottom, as the big doors are a dream for human access, but a bit big for very fast escapees, blocking them off top or bottom, its SO easy.
When we introduced our Chinchilla to the new cage he went silly excited, he bounced on every ledge, hammock, shelf, through the halfway hole, all the way up to his hanging pouch bed, and all the way down again,
He had his wheel and sandbath on the bottom of the cage, food and water on a ledge above, and had loads and loads of running and jumping space,
This really IS (in my opinion) the VERY best cage for a Chinchilla, (or other climbing furries)
It looks rather Posh, has a sheen easy wipe finish, (the White option is actually the palest silver grey/nearly white) which is so “nearly” white and goes with all my white painted furniture a treat, (as I was expecting a White cage) it also can be wheeled room to room with ease, giving little guy a different view,
Honestly, if you have a small amount of imagination, and set aside a little bit of time before adding your pet, you will achieve the best habitat for under 100

Brought this cage for my cockatiel Gizzy, It came early which was great. I put it together in less than an hour, it feels sturdy and I love the size of the doors giving me more access to the inside for cleaning.
Great cage, bought for a chinchilla, easy too adapt for him, he really likes having plenty of room too hop around in, deffinly would recommend buying for the price, better then I thought it would be
This cage is very tall, yet stays narrow so it’s not going to eat up floor space. Due to the height is has ample room inside for all your toys, hammocks and climbing ropes so plenty of fun and excersise.
My only gripe is that as it’s designed for birds, the bars themselves are quite thin an are easy to bend – keep an eye out on any that you are hanging toys from to make sure they don’t break.
A word of advice – the small doors for the food bowls do not require much effort to push up; if you have rats that are known escape artists it may be worth clipping or tying these down.
This is great for my 2 budgies. For the first week of transferring them to this cage they did not want to come out. There is plenty of space for them to fly around. I particularly like the platforms as I can place a bath on one.
Some of the metal pins were a little bent but easily put right with some pliers. The top door was, I think, faulty but as this is the last piece to assemble I decided I’d already committed and wasn’t going to take it apart to return. A little improv and some force got it there in the end. I suspect this was a fluke as no other reviewers had this problem. Now it’s in situ and in use this thing is huge and amazing. My 4 10 week old bucks love it. I recommend assembling it first before buying accessories though as the position of the shelves and ramps might limit what you can use. You’ll also want to source some flooring as the metal mesh isn’t good for ratties little feet. All that said I’d definitely recommend this cage. I love it. They love it.
The small side doors – lots of them and within a week they had figured out how to push them up and escape – but easily solved with crococile clip on each one.
I’ve gone on a bit here because I figured potential rat owners might appreciate it (PS they are great pets). It’s a good cage. If you have room for it go for it.

Very good value for money, I managed to put it together with no problems, parrot very happy with it. The plastic feeder cups were not such a good idea, I doubt they will last very long. Parrots love to chew! Have attached metal ones.
Packing was good but staples lethal, had to be very carful unpacking.
Ordered this thinking it would be smaller than what it actually is, I’m 5″6 and it’s bigger than me! I can’t recommend this enough, I’ve got my 4 Male rats in and they absolutely love it. Will be ordering this again in the future for my other ratties

You can make it what you want inside as loads of space … we house rats in ours and they love happily… I’ve paid silly money in the past on many different cages and this cage will be one I would highly recommend for sure , very happy with it , easily put together without the need of the instructions,very happy with everything x
Great cage, we put it up without the bottom stand for our three pet rats. Without it it’s a little below 5ft.
That cage is good quality with sturdy galvanised metal. I’m particularly impressed with the door fasteners which look nice and work really well.
Space wise it’s phenomenal, a good height and floor size to keep our pets happy and active. I would estimate you could keep 9-12 rats happy in it with regular cleaning. Our three girls are enjoying the additional space so far and you can see that they are already getting a lot of exercise and enjoyment from travelling up and down and across the cage while they explore.
However, would recommend using material covers for the floor and platforms to avoid bunblefoot for rodents.
Assembly was straightforward, maybe taking about 25mins, the pack came with an allen key to tighten screws so no additional tools required. The package itself was quite heavy which is to be expected!
Arrived on time, well packaged and as described and seen in pictures. Had read many comments about the staples – so was careful when I opened it – didn’t get any cuts or scrapes. For a non weight-lifting girl in her twenties I managed to build the whole thing and place it on the stand all by myself (didn’t take much time as instructions are very clear)! I feel the food/water containers should have been better quality, with smoother edges and a perch (I only use them for water and my last cage had ones made with good quality plastic with a perch). Best thing about this cage compared to others is that it doesn’t take up much room in terms of its breadth. After putting it on the stand it looked too tall for the room – so I took the wheels off the stand and placed them directly underneath the cage (great option) – it really is good and sturdy. I only wish I had waited for the white version as that is the one I wanted – but back in December 2018 it was unavailable with no indication as to how long it had been out of stock and when it might return – now in Feb 2019 I see it is available – had I known I would have waited (and even paid that extra bit – not sure why it’s a higher price though) – but alas. Overall still very pleased with it – birds can finally spread their wings.

I got this for my two budgies, Sky and Lemon, and its literally a mansion for them! It was easy to set up and the colour is sooooooo nice. The only problem is that the slide doors for the water/ feed cups are a bit stiff but its okay! Very sturdy cage!! Extrmeely pleased.
Great product gives our cockatoo plenty to keep it interested. Took about 40mins to put together . Only slight niggle is that the wooden perches are tiny and would only be useful for finches.
Relatively easy to build up, delivered quickly .I got this for my daughter’s pet rats as they were escaping from their other cage. They have been in this cage for 4 days now and have not managed to escape as the bars are too narrow for them to squeeze through.
