This knife comes in a high quality presentation box. The knife is incredibly sharp. It glided through a shoulder of lamb I was dicing. It was noticeably easier than with the Global knife I had previously been using (although admittedly this was a few years old, but had been sharpened). It feels really comfortable to use. Highly recommended!
Can highly recommend this knife I’d been wanting one for ages and decided to treat myself & am glad I did. Excellent quality , easy to handle, so sharp it cuts through fruit & veg with ease.

I’m sure all of the Zelite range of knives are fantastic and whilst this one isn’t quite the top of the range I fail to understand how another one could be any better! From the research I did prior to purchase there is a lot of evidence to suggest that if you own the right knife you should be able to use it for everything. Well this one certainly backs that evidence up – but unfortunately I’m rather cynical and didn’t trust my own research so I purchased the smaller pairing knife in the same range! Disappointed NOT it is equally awesome!

This is now my ‘go-to’ knife for almost everything. Arrived beautifully packaged, so if you’re giving as a gift, it’s ideal. Nice weight and extremely well manufactured. Very sharp, and with a decent steel, as advised by the supplier, a couple of gentle strokes prior to use easily restores a wonderfully honed finish – on the suppliers recommendation, I bought a ceramic steel, and it works a treat.

Bought for partner’s birthday, who happens to be a chef, so I was very aware it had to be good. Thankfully they were overjoyed and absolutely loved the knife; they noted the quality and craftsmanship of the knife and has since said they would recommend it to anybody else.
Great quality knife, shaves the hairs off your arm straight out of the box ! I’ve got knives that cost a lot more than this and are no where near as good. Will be looking to buy some more soon.
This knife is perhaps the most comfortable and scarily sharp piece of kitchenware. Everything you’ve ever wanted in a Santoku knife, beautiful to look at and beautiful to use with amazing results. This knife is a piece of art in every way that matters.
AHH, my knife, decided to get into cooking again after many years, so bought a good, no GREAT knife. all the old lost skills coming back, yes have managed to draw blood on all ten fingures. God its sharp.slicing and dicing like a pro, who says the knife does’t make the cook.

Received my Zelite Infinity Santoku today and have used it to do some vegetables. The knife cut through the carrots like the were butter. A well balanced knife, well presented in the box. The Santoku has a good weight to it and is very very good quality.
I will be purchasing the rest of the set without a doubt.

Impressive knife. As a pure kitchen amateur, it is pretty remarkable using this knife to cut the likes of harder vegetables in comparison with cheaper knives I have been using.
One minor irritation that almost stopped me reviewing was the constant emails from the seller asking me to post a review.
I have had this knife for a while and to say I am pleased would be an understatement,it is well balanced sharp in fact a pleasure to use.I have been looking for a good knife for ages and am so pleased I picked this one. I am definitely saving up for a few more.I just love using this knife i do All the sliceing and diceing can’t keep me out of the kitchen. Very nice knife.
My favourite knife out of my Zelite collection. I wash it under the tap , it is so sharp that it cuts off very thin slices of skin, and that is after a couple of months use without sharpening.
So be careful.
I bought this knife for myself because I was fed up having a draw full of knives that look capable of chopping and dicing but fall short. The Zelite Infinity ticks all the boxes, and comes in an elegant box with a magnetic lid . I was very pleased with my purchase and you would be as well . If you thinking of buying a capable knife for the kitchen this should be on your shortlist.
However I will say this to Zelite, design a Zelite Knife Holder.
The packaging it came in was very nice, and is probably the best packaging I have ever had for any item I have brought online.
Most importantly, if I had to but another knife of this style, I would very likely go for this again.
The knife is beautifully packaged with a very courteous note basically welcoming you to the Zelite family. The knife itself I just use for everything its heavy enough to crush stuff and sharp enough to slice really really thin if you need to. Good buy.
Bought as a domestic knife for non professional who loves barbecuing and wanted a good knife for cutting joints into steak portions and also for carving. Feels good to handle and very very sharp. Overall pleased with product and service.
As part of a set it has been performing well in the short time I have had it as are the other knives. Very well presented so would make a great gift for that special occasion. Early days but the knives are keeping an edge and I have had no need to use the ceramic steel as yet. Pleasure to use and make the job easier through good design.

Knife arrived in good time and so far extremely happy with it. Lovely addition to my other Zelite Infinity knives. I mostly use this knife for cutting/slicing baguettes, cooked sausage and firm tomatoes.

The packaging / display box is wonderful, I just wish that I had room to store them in their original boxes rather than on a knife rack.
I was lucky enough to receive this as a present and I am delighted with it. It has been first to hand for everything from vegetables to raw meats and I cannot fault it. Zelite knives are literally in a class of their own. I now have three. This particular Santoku knife is incredible. The sharpness,tang and balance is amazing. They all come beautifully boxed and presented. This knife comes with a good quality leather sheath and a polishing cloth. I still use them but my Gustav Emil Em, Global Sabatier (carbon steel originals) knives do sadly come second best. Thank you Zelite. Best knives Ive ever used.

Became dull very quickly even though I sharpened it regularly. Squashes most of the food instead of cutting. I have previously owned a victorinox knife, which stayed sharp for 2 years of consecutive use. This one only lasted for roughly 5 weeks. Would not recommend anyone buying it, as the ‘discount’ is just a trick to get people to buy it.

Not only they have contacted me to help resolve the problem and refund almost immediately, but also gave an in-depth advice on honing and sharpening. I’ve never really spent much time in the kitchen, but having great knifes that feel good in the hand and cut so well without any effort makes cooking a pleasure and enjoyable. This is my 4th Zelite knife and my selection of knifes is slowly getting there.
These super-sharp and well-balanced knives are a joy to use in my kitchen and were superbly presented and quickly dispatched by Zelite. The price is justified by the superior quality and I wish I could have bought these years ago. All of my old inferior preparation knives have gone in the bin, and good riddance!
Im a chef and i was looking for a strong reliable Japanese knife, this knife you cant go wrong with, The build quality of the knife is amazing, it keeps its edge and its a verry comfortable knife to use.
I bought this knife and 2 other Zelite’s as a wedding present. My new son-in-law absolutely loves them and is totally into caring for them and admires them each time they are being used! he has looked up the website, read the accompanying brook and will follow product advice to the letter. I think he has taken them as a present to him personally. I am just glad they were well received.
I have tried it on cutting very thin slices of beef for my typical Vietnamese Pho and I am very pleased. I would love to get a few more and also will definitely recommend it to my family and friends. But I need to wait for the sale as I cannot afford the normal full price.

Well here we go… I have bought literally hundreds of things from Amazon and I have always been pretty pleased but never really felt motivated to leave a review as there were always lots of others. In this case I think I really must – this knife is incredible! I am a bit OCD about having decent, sharp knives in the kitchen but this is at another level. It literally needs no pressure on it to cut through almost anything. I will need to see about how to keep it this sharp but it has really impressed so far.
Excellent knife and customer service seems fantastic. Since buying it I’ve fitted a knife drawer in the kitchen as it doesn’t deserve to be on the magnetic knife strip with the other plain old knives I have. The minute you use it you see why all of the reviews are so high; it feels superb, looks superb and it cuts like a razor. Will definitely be buying more from the Zelite range.
The knife is beautifully crafted. My first test was chicken breasts as my old(what i thought were good knives) would tug at the meat as cutting & the messy bit at the end always hard to cut off. This knife, well just wow! It’s sliced through with no effort whatsoever which then led me to draw my fingers a little further away from where i was cutting as i can imagine it doing the same to my knuckles.
Absolutely amazing knife to which i have already bought another one to add to the future collection. Worth every bit as much as the price you pay!
I purchased two of these knives this one and the Utility Knife. I have used them both and the blades arrived razor sharp. The prices were discounted and this usually worries me but so far they have done the job and a quick hone on a fine steel appears to keep the edge. These will get daily use and I will be interested to see how long they keep the sharp blade but as of now I am very happy with both knives.
By far the best knives I own. I purchased two quite different Zelite knives about a month ago and it is joy using them. You can buy cheaper knives, but you can not get the same cutting experience. I never thought it would make such a difference in how I’d feel when preparing food. Excellent buy and worth the money. Even my wife and my young children are commenting on daddy’s new cutting equipment. If you decide to buy, be assured it will be a purchase you will never regret.
The knife keeps it’s edge superbly and the balance is just sublime. Some might be a little put off by the weight as it’s a little light for a forged blade but once you get used to it, you’ll be slicing and dicing way easier and faster than before.
Delivery, packaging and service was outstanding also. Would thoroughly recommend.
This is the third knife i have bought in the ZELITE INFINITY collection and will continue to purchase until I have a set. The knife is well made, I think well balanced and very sharp! The product is just as good a high priced knives and you can see the quality of these knives when chopping or mincing. Even though the knife is dishwasher proof, I simple wash with water and dry before storing. I’ve used professional grade knife before but this product I think is value for money.

The only sugestion I would make is to include a protection sheath to preserve the knife sharpness: I dont want to put this knife in yhe drawer “naked”. Perfect, very nice kitchen knife. Bought as a gift and the recipient was very impressed and happy. Feels like it will last for many years, and has a nice balance. The marbled pattern on the blade was a similar quality to the pattern pictured here on Amazon.

The santoku knife is a great addition to my collection. It’s very easy to hold and very well balanced and a joy to use.
I’ve used a three stage sharpener a couple of times and it hones really well.
I’m hoping to use zelite infinity in the future to add to my collection.
This is one helluva knife. Weight is just in the right side of heavy. Balance is near perfect. And it is damn sharp, I mean I could shave with it sharp – keep well out of the reach of kids or anyone at risk of suicide. Very nice presentation box as well. It’s the most expensive bit of cutlery I own but it’s really worth it. Any aspiring chefs / cooks who want an all round great knife for all sorts of cutting needs should look no further. Highly recommended.

The fastest delivery ever – 26 hours after ordering! Amazing quality knife; very good value for money (i.e. not cheap, but very, very competitive pricing compared with other comparable Japanese bladed knives). Fabulous build quality, ferociously keen edge to blade, very comfortable easy-to-grip handle with good balance. A joy to use in the kitchen, (although I have not yet sharpened it on my whetstones) and it saves my arthritic hand a lot of strain and pain compared to cheaper slicing knives. I’m hooked onto the brand.

At the price, this has to be one of the best value options out there, ideal for someone who wants to experiment with a Santoku, perhaps as an alternative to the more rounded western chef’s knife. It suits itself very well to the more “straight down” traditional Asian chopping style.
Just one problem remains –
how are you supposed to pronounce Zelite? Is it “Zee-light” or “Zell-light” or “Zay-leet”?

I received my Zelite on time and in a very impressive presentation box, the knife is very impressive, tested it out with a tomato and very sharp I have never been able to cut the tomatoes so fine into slithers, looking forwards to using it for all the cooking and carving and cutting. This is the best knife that I have ever bought, bought it for my son who is a chef and he loves them. Great weight and balance to all of these knives and it does slice with ease due to the sheer sharpness that comes standard on it. These are the type of knives that you would buy once and never have to replace due to the quality of them so I don’t see the point in buying cheap knives just to throw away. WHY would you but the cheaper made knives, if you cant afford or can not justify the price (which is not bad at all) then buy the cheaper style knives that this brand actually do make as I suspect they will be just as good as these with just a different style to them. ANYONE should buy these from a chef to a trainer chef or even just someone that enjoys to cook as you will not buy the same quality cheaper anywhere else and love to use them and love the presentation that box that they come in.
I have only had the knife for 4 days, but so far I love it. Sharp, well balanced and beautifully finished.
I had one negative issue, but that was with UPS couriers – or more precisely their website which indicated the wrong delivery date. However it did arrive on time.

Waited a week or so before reviewing this knife just to see how it goes, well it goes. What a piece of kit this is, perfect weight, keeps its edge, doesn’t stick to food and I’m well pleased. Not the cheapest knife in the world and I’ve had some other ‘well known’ brands but It’ll last a lifetime, for me anyway. It’s a work of art and a very useful one at that for all the jobs in the kitchen and also “the” sharpest knife I’ve ever bought.

I bought this for myself as a Christmas present as I have been meaning to buy myself a decent knife for a while. It looks lovely and has a good razor sharp edge out of the box, the handle is comfortable to hold. I can’t speak for blade retention as I have only had it a few days but hopefully with good care it will last a very long time.
Bought this as a gift for my wife. She loves cooking and already has lots of good knives. Such as global etc. This knife is a cut above the rest. (Sorry about the pun). It comes in a really well presented box and feels like a quality product. It really is razor sharp and very well balanced with a decent weight to it. Looks quite beautiful. Almost too nice to use. Still not been used much but very confident it will be around for a good while. Already making plans to buy more of these knives to add to the collection.

I seem to have been hunting for a really good carving knife for some years. I’ve tried many options, in steel and ceramic and have been disappointed every time. However this knife ticks all the boxes. It is excellent to handle and is extremely sharp making carving the Sunday joint an absolute joy. I cannot praise this knife enough and unreservedly recommend it to anyone looking for a new/replacement carving knife.
My wife bought me ZELITE INFINITY Bread Knife 8 Inch for my birthday and I was so impressed I purchased this Santoku.
Materials and workmanship on both is superb.The balance and weight of this knife make it a pleasure to use for all the kitchen jobs I’ve applied it to, be it meat veg, fruit or herbs, chunky or fine.

I have been using this for about month now and can see several of my regular knives being retired.
The 105 I paid for this kitchen knife seemed excessive but I’m happier now after several weeks of use.
I have a complete set of global knifes for work as I’m a chef ,as a treat I purchased this knife ,to my supprise this is my knife of choice and don’t use my globals , the whole design looks and works awesome, extremely well balanced, feels so good in your hand ,cuts meat raw or cooked like a hot knife through butter ,vegetables are a ace with this knife as i hate knifes that are to thick and snap carrots and just make some veg impossible to cut through, and I love the cuts on cakes and cold custard tarts It makes the finished product look so much better with its smoth cuts on the slices, this knife makes me happy thanks zelite Infinity.
I tried it out on a cherry tomato and managed to cut a single tomato into about 40 slices, half a millimeter thick. I’ve never owned a knife that is capable of doing this.
I have purchased this knife as a Christmas present for my son. He is gradually acquiring a set of Zelite Infinity knives . Next year he can buy some for me ! they are excellent to use , attractive to see , well balanced and perfect Japanese steel quality.
Bought this as a present for my boyfriend who is very into cooking, especially making sushi, and he loved it! It’s super sharp, very sleek looking and the box it comes in makes it look very classy. He was a very happy man and I can’t wait to eat the perfectly sliced sushi he will make from now on!
It was quite a step for me to spend 100 on a single kitchen knife, and having used it now on a few occasions I’m relieved to say that it was a sound investment. Its cutting ability is unparalleled by any of my other kitchen knives, plus the weight and balance make it fantastic to hold and use. My partner used it the other day for the first time, having previously avoided doing so, fearing that she’d finish up one or two fingers less! She was equally wowed by its cutting ability and ease of handling.
The looking is amazing, handle comfortable for a big hand, i love heavy knives I’ll not give 5 stars because I was expecting a made in Japan knife and not made in China (for the price ) you can buy wustof classic ikon for less and you will be sure that you have a great knife .

One thing, I am busy making a block to store the knife in, but because of the taper from the blade to the handle, it is difficult to find a definite stop point as the knife tends to stick in the slot. It would be nice if there was a definite stop point say on the back where the blade starts to thicken to become the handle.
Really sharp and nicely balanced. A bit expensive but a great product and particularly useful now that I am over 70 and unable to exert as much force preparing vegetables etc as I used to which made using less sharp knives more difficult and with a greater risk of accidents.

It arrived promptly on the date stated and is to me a thing of beauty. It was perfectly packaged for presentation as a gift. If it performs as well as my previous purchase (and I have no doubt that it will), my friend will be very pleased.
Amazingly fast delivery. Superb knife. I have a set of Global knives and had thought that they were the best, but I was wrong! Heft, design, edge and performance are outstanding. It really feels as though it will last a lifetime. Worth every penny.
If there is a better kitchen knife available at anywhere close to this price I will eat this one!
I bought the whole set of Zelite Infinity knives, including this 7″ Santoku. These are very nice knives with good weight and balance, very comfortable handle and very, very sharp too. Definitely worth their price, I should be able to use them for decades (with appropriate care, i.e. Asian style honing and sharpening). The blade composition is typical for highest quality Japanese kitchen knives, which is VG10 clad with many layers of SUS410. Even though the steel is Japanese make, the actual knife is made in China and, as someone familiar with top shelf China made products, I believe that the maker is unnecessarily modest about this. Top product, would make great addition to any kitchen.
This is a beautifully balanced extremely well made knife. Slightly shorter than a chef’s knife but you don’t notice it in use. If you purchase a high quality knife like this two simple rules common sense really. Use a cutting board to maintain the knife edge and hand wash dry put away after use. It’s that simple. The service from the supplier was very good and I will definitely be looking at there products when I want another in the range.
This is a stunning knife to look at and use. It outclasses my Global knives every which way but most noticeably in how it fits in the hand and its balanced weight. I also bought and reviewed the Zelite Infinity bread knife which is superb too. There are currently a couple of knives in the range not yet on the Amazon UK store so I hope and trust that they will be made available to us soon.
That’s why I bought this Santoku knife. It requires a different technique to use to its best advantage and efficiency, and with this superb knife, it’s a delight to learn. I feel that I need the backing of Elon Musk here, as the simple task to replace a worn out old Gustav Emil 4″ paring knife has started a love affair with these amazing quality knives, plus a new knife block in which to store them is making my credit card smoke.
But who cares. If I end up broke, I’ll still have these wondrous creations, even if I can’t afford to buy the food on which to use them.

They’re super sharp I cut through a butternut squash like paper,I usually struggle to cut these but not with this amazing knife. Needless to say I am well pleased with them. I was eagerly awaiting the release of the Zelite Infinity knives in the UK. I had seen these marketed on social media and was impressed by their looks. I was further impressed by the reviews these were receiving in the US. I was therefore delighted when they were finally released on Amazon UK. I ordered this knife on the Thursday they were released and they were delivered the next day, what’s remarkable about this was that it was Good Friday in the UK and the delivery was free!
Upon opening the Amazon box I was impressed with the quality of the packaging the knife was in and once opened the knife inside oozed quality even before you picked it up. Once in the hand the knife feels very balanced and comfortable.
The 7″ Santoku Knife looks stunning with its one sided beveled blade. And from an aesthetic point of view they look quality in my kitchen. Along with the chef’s knife this will be the most used knife in my kitchen due to its versatility.
My previous knives (Wusthofs) always seemed to be a chore to use however this knife is so sharp and effortless that I was able to cut through food using only one hand, as can be seen in the video that I have posted when cutting an orange. Previously with the other knives this task would have resulted in the orange squishing down and squirting out when I was attempting to cut it. This time however it really was a case of a hot knife through butter.
I use this knife on a daily basis and keep it in its own presentation box, due to its sharpness it isn’t something you can leave lying around!!!!
The fact this knife is rust and stain resistant means it can be used daily for many years to come. Due to the material this knife has been created from means it can be sharpened to be razor sharp and will last for an extremely long time.
This knife in my opinion is perfectly balanced and an amazing accompaniment to my kitchen and I would 100% recommend it to everyone
