Overall, I am pleased with the canopy. The frame is well designed and sturdy. But the cover itself is t well sealed. Either the seams aren’t taped or aren’t taped well. It leaks in several places in moderate to heavy rain.

I’ll likely take it down in the spring and try to put some sealant along the seams

This canopy has been used many times at the beach and at farmer’s markets. It is well made and sturdy in the wind. It can be set up by one person, but two is much easier. It is heavy, though. The wheeled case is great for markets and shows and picnics; but you’re going to want a wagon (or a strong helper) for the beach!

This canopy is well worth a few dollars more. It advertises as “commercial” and it sure is build sturdier than other canopies I owned in the past. worth every penny.

It was easy to assemble with my Father helping. I recommended this for him to replaced the one he had that was destroyed by wind and snow. He loves it. It was much nicer and sturdier than his old one.

I put it up myself in 20 minutes. It was only longer the first time because of putting the canopy onto the frame for the first time. Next summer it will only be a matter of minutes to spread it out and adjust the height. The frame is amazingly sturdy, the most sturdiest frame I have ever seen and a backyard/picnic canopy. Buy it and you will not be disappointed.

I purchased this canopy for shade and wanted something that easy to adjust. My old canopies had metal buttons that were difficult to operate. This button design is much better for setting up. This canopy is VERY high quality and the bag is strong and of thick material. My only complaint would be that I would like a little larger wheels, but the wheels are adequate. It is a bit heavy to move around, but this is because the construction is far superior to the competition.

I wanted a canopy that could easily cover more space while being affordable. This is a little tricky to set up given the top part that have to hold unto the frame but once it’s up it holds up well. The flaps that open are a bit annoying given the tubes that hols it together all come I pieces but it expands the size of the canopy so it is worth it. It seems durable but I also have only used it a few times.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI’ve had this canopy for three years now, but have only used it once or twice.

The forecast was predicting some hot, sunny days for a week. So I decided to start getting my money’s worth out of the purchase. I set it up on my back paver patio. I had read reviews where people claimed to have left their canopy up for weeks or months without issue. So I decided I’d leave it up for at least a few days.

During the day of the attached video, I checked the weather app to make sure there weren’t any unexpected changes in the weather. Still no mention of rain. All seemed fine during the bright, sunny morning and early afternoon. But later in the afternoon, I noticed some light rain. While I was surprised by the development, I decided it would be a nice opportunity to check the waterproofing of the canopy.

I sat under the canopy and was quite satisfied by how it was handling the light rain. Even as the rain picked up, I felt at ease. But after a few minutes, some strong gusts of wind began coming through. I thought about taking the canopy down, but I felt the best immediate course of action was to stand beneath the center and hold the frame steady. It was showing clear signs of strain.

The gusts became so steady and with increasing intensity that I continued feeling uncomfortable about letting go and trying to take the canopy down. My support was probably the only thing keeping my canopy from becoming a heap of mangled metal. I had been through that before. Fortunately, along with my 200 pounds holding in the center, I had sandbags on each corner along with two bungee tie downs on each corner.

For about 20 minutes, which felt like an eternity, I held on and prayed until a brief calm allowed me to take down the canopy. After that brief calm, some heavier gusts came through that would have surely destroyed my canopy.

Just hours before this ordeal, I had received two additional sidewalls that I had ordered to go along with the two I had purchased before. I had a full set up that I hoped to enjoy for the summer. What a shame it would have been to see it destroyed.

Well, the next day I inspected the frame. I feared that I would find cracks in the plastic connectors or bends in the frame. To my surprise, all was in order. Thankfully, it was a lesson that didn’t have to come with a huge cost or loss.

I think I will be a bit more selective about when to use the canopy. These sudden, violent and unforeseen storms are happening with more frequency. So I’ll likely reserve the canopy for gatherings and events. At least then, I’ll have assistance to quickly take the canopy down if needed. In the meantime, I’ll use my large umbrella for patio shade on a regular basis.

In any case, this canopy took a beating and held its own. But no matter how well constructed these mobile canopies are, they can only withstand so much. If any element, me, the sandbags or the tie downs had been missing, it would have been game over. The canopy isn’t meant to withstand those types of winds anyway.

So if you’re looking for a sturdy canopy to be used under reasonable conditions, this one is well worth it. It’s even cheaper now than when I bought mine. Hopefully, the quality is still the same.

I bought this canopy to provide shade for my musical group. The size is great – plenty of room for our quartet. It sets up and breaks down easily with two people. The steel frame makes it a bit heavy but I think it’s well worth it for durability. The wheeled carrying bag is easy to manage and seems well designed. Love the side pocket for the cover. Highly recommended.

Great for any occasion. I had this up in my yard fo 3 months before taking it down to use on vacation. You need at least two people. It is a great shelter to keep the party going rain or shine. If left up for an extended time definitely weigh the legs down with at least 30 or more lbs. Gusts of wind will lift the tent or any tent that is not weighted and tied down. I haven’t needed it yet but this company sells replacement parts if needed

Very easy to put together initially and then to set up every time I need it for markets. I bought an additional wall (separate) to keep sun off of my stand, I have used it yet but honestly buying 2 more walls to keep rain out is something I’m pondering. It came with 4 bags for putting sand in; I bought 50 pounds of play sand and tried to evenly, one bag ended up a little short but so far I haven’t seen the wind do anything in terms of moving the canopy thanks to the bags. I love this canopy, will update if time and usage changes my view.

The canopy is certainly sturdy and provided good shade over the 4th of July holiday outing. I gave it to my son-in-law after use since it was too heavy and bulky for me to transport and benefit from. If you have plenty of cargo space in vehicle and have good muscles and good back it will probably serve you well.

we had previously purchased a different leading brand, similarly priced canopy and had trouble with water pooling after each rainfall. its legs also got severely bent after a strong storm so we went abccanopy to replace the wrecked one and so glad we did
It was easy to raise though it did take 2 of us, it was up in less than 15 minutes
We’ve had quite a few strong storms with considerable down pours already and thus far not even one instance of any water pooling on the canopy. we couldn’t be happier with this abc canopy.

The quality is excellent! I have had 3 of these canopies now over several years. If you leave it up during the California-Bay Area winter it will last you about 3 years. You will need to take it down in high winds or you will have to get a replacement canopy earlier. I have found the frames to be very sturdy. The stakes are too small for higher winds and you will need the screw-in type stakes.

It’s pricey, but worth it. Every canopy always breaks, just a fact of life, but I have high hopes for how long this will last. I purchased this canopy for car camping and it did its job perfectly. This thing is super sturdy, and the extra shade from the movable awnings is such a great benifit

I’ve only taken it out once so far. I set it up, winds were calm, and i didnt stake or weight it down. well, thats an obvious mistake. Winds picked up around sunset, and this thing did a full 180, landing upside down and then rolled a bit more. Anyone who knows canopies, knows that this is usually kills them. This thing held sturdy, and was perfectly fine. I flipped it back over, staked it down and attached the included weight bags and filled them with dirt. No issues the rest of the trip.

Honestly ive owned a few different models of easy ups. I really like this one, it is a great design and much more sturdy than the others ive had. The canopy is a thick and tough material as well as the frame. It is different with the frame sits lower to the bottom of the 8ft range with a sliding center point that supports the canopy. It keeps the canopy extremely tight so dont get the saggy water collection that others do. Definitely a solid uni

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersSo sturdy, we’ve left it up in breezes that would’ve sent our previous cheapie gazebo flying. The sand-bags (included) make a huge difference. Looks great in black and the three height variations are useful. Straightforward to assemble rather than easy; I guess the guy who’s review said he put it up and down himself on a regular basis proves that practice makes perfect. But we did manage with two of us, so don’t be put off. I’m sitting under it now typing this review … enjoy!

Very sturdy! Already been through a few very windy days.. The material is more like a camping tent type. So water does leak when it’s raining hard. I think a sprinkle it would be ok. Just note.. That there are support bars and that it’s not a big open space underneath.. UPDATE!!!
… So after having the awning set up for 3 months. It completely tattered. I could literally rip the material with 2 fingers. Just a warning if you plan on setting up in the sun. The sun will eat it.

    Update!!

Just took this out of the box for a test run. Easy enough to put together but it is definitely not a one person job. It is heavy but that I feel is a good thing as I think it will stand up well to the elements.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersOn receiving the gazebo, it was well packaged and surprisingly but reassuringly heavy and no items were missing. Assembly for the first time is a two person job but if you follow the instructions it is straightforward enough. Everything fits well, looks well made and the canopy is definitely waterproof.
I haven’t tested it yet in strong winds and I would be wary if not pegged or weighted down. If it takes off it may well cause some damage due to its weight. A good piece of kit.

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersI am in love with this tent. I use to to sell my art at a local farmers market and over venues. It is wonderful especially when its very hot out. I am able to have a larger space to display my art and still have a covered spot to sit under because of the awning. The tent is very heavy duty and I am confident that it will last a long time. Other vendors keep asking where I found the tent.

Edit. I have been using the tent about 2 months now and still love it. Today is our first time setting up in the rain. Over all it’s doing a great job but there are some leeks where the side meets the awning. It’s not catching rain like other tents around me though.

    Best tent at the marke

We got the 3m canopy which adequately sheltered our 8 seater table. It’s protected us from torrential rain with no leaks. I ordered the cream canopy and was disappointed to get a white one instead, but having read some reviews about waiting for replacements I decided to keep it. Struggled to put up the first time, but there’s a knack and it got easier!!Overall really pleased with it so far.

    Good protection.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersDont look any further…this is the one you want!! So much better than others Ive had. It has much thicker and stronger frame with good powder coating paint. The cover is far superior in fit and material. It has a silver lining so reflects the UV rays. 100% water proof!! The foot plate has 2 holes not one like others so you can hammer in 2 grou d anchors. So easy to assemble. Comes with lovely bag with wheels. Great value for money.

There are velcro flaps under the 4 corners of the canopy which get hooked to velcro on each of the top of the 4 outside legs. The white velcro straps get hooked to the crossbars. Once this is all done, raise each leg one at a time until it clicks into position. The carrying case has wheels which helps to move the tent & legs to and from locations as needed. We bought extra weights for the base of the legs since we use the tent on asphalt.

    A tank.

Was genuinely surprised at the size of this canopy when it came (ordered 10×10). It’s big packed. But fits in the back of my Forester with seats down with just with enough room.

Canopy is very easy to put up. Easiest with 2 people can also be done with one person. Unfortunately the bag had absolutely zero instructions. It is pretty intuitive, but I emailed them and they sent some.

I bought this particular one because I wanted something sturdy that wouldn’t blow away. And it’s first outing it got that test. Camping with a sever thunderstorm rolling in one night. 25mph+ winds and this thing stood perfectly. Very impressed.
