Easy to fit, works perfectly and now we can water our garden even though we don’t have an outside tap
Having tried the screw-down type tap connector on my awkward tap, ending up with a low pressured leaky mess and a drenched microwave. I can honestly say that this is *The Best* tap connector. It works absolutely beautifully, it’s *almost like having an outside tap.
This is a handy bit of kit and so easy to use. Handy alternative to an outdoor tap
Just be careful when putting it on some taps – if you over tighten you could dent your tap because it’s so sturdy/strong!

Does exactly what I need! As long as you measure your tap (so you know this will fit) and don’t over-tighten the adapter, this should not damage your tap!
I use it to fill a 100l barrel for aquarium water changes. I simply unscrew the nozzle end, place it over the tap and then tighten until it’s against the tap – I do not fully tighten, it doesn’t need it. I then ONLY PARTIALLY close the top clamp – again, it does not need to be forced down flat!! I then attach a 19mm hose directly (no additional attachments) I’ve used this a dozen times now and had no leaks, no damage, no issues. I am very happy!
If the adapter is coming off, I’d suggest either reduce the tap water flow or use a larger diameter hose (with appropriate connectors!) to reduce pressure. Clamping the adapter on tighter isn’t needed and obviously will damage the tap!
Had loads of these and being in an army quater never found one that fits would highly recommend
Tried a few of these in the past and always leaked or more commonly slipped off. This one is fantastic and done the job for me and I can leave on the tap with confidence now knowing it won’t cone off and works for me as I cannot install a garden tap. I use mine on one the standard bathroom taps.
I have a really old style square tap- it doesn’t fit correctly without spraying but I’ve accepted this but it’s still able to work and fill the hose.
Fits perfectly on to this tap,sturdy and doesn’t leak. Saved my daughters birthday party . Would recommend. Thank you
Easy to add to tap and it did the trick…..filled the kids paddle pool with hot water….much cheaper than spending large amount of money to have plumber install outdoor tap…..good buy but check that it fits your tap (square or round)
This was a lifesaver over the summer. Its super easy to install and we have quite old style taps which are rounded at the spout so I was worried it wouldn’t work as I’ve seen some people had issues. However, we were absolutely fine and we were able to fill our pool! It was great too that it was a matter of seconds to move the hose from cold to hot tap. Very happy.
We have just moved into a rented property and it doesnt have an outside tap. With this being said we didnt want to install one ourselves just incase. This fits perfectly ontoo our tap, takes a few times to make sure it’s in the right place and no leaks.
Good product for awkward taps. My kitchen tap is especially awkward because the handle gets in the way while I’m trying to attach the adapter, meaning I need to have the tap running to fit it, which leads to water spraying everywhere. But that’s more the fault of my tap handles than the adapter itself. once it’s on there’s no leakage at all and it works perfectly.
Other than that this item is quite big for my faucet, I have NO problems with this product.
I have had this connection for the taps for around a month now so feel this is the right time to give you a quick opinion. The ease of use is incredible and simple as long as you have flat top taps. Simply place underneath and adjust then turn on. The adjustable screw makes a easy fitting creates no leaking around the connector or the tap. This allows a good amount of water pressure from washing the car to filling up the kids pool. All in all this is a 5 star product from me.
A little care should be taken when fitting to the tap so that a correct seal is achieved when the lower part is screwed upwards towards the tap. When the orange lever is the pressed downward a leak-free seal will be produced. It is such a simple connector but it is so successful.
We have had a few similar items which worked but with a slight leak.

Used this on my kitchen mixer tap and it was very sturdy and didn’t cause leaks like other products I have used previously. Other similar products also damaged my tap but this one did not. Would definitely recommend this over more well known brands

got this product as an adaptor for my mums tap , little stiff to use and wouldn’t recommend it for the elderly.
Amazing. For years I’ve struggled to find a connector for my taps that doesn’t come loose or fall off. This device is brilliant. Fits perfectly on my taps and means I no longer have to connect the hose to the washing machine water pipe.(which meant disconnecting the washing machine every time I needed to use the hose.) Also fits on hot tap, so can fill kids pool with warm water( Their are pleased). Recommended buy.
Finally a tap adapter that fits my taps and doesn’t allow sudden gush of water to escape all over the kitchen.
I love this , fits easy and adjustable! I bought it so I could fill my hot tub from the kitchen hot water tap save heating the water up from scratch ! No drips or leaks as for the price I thought it may do slightly!

I have bought countless tap connectors over the years and I must say that this is undoubtedly the best.
No problem aligning it with the tsp, turned on the water and no water all over the place.

Put it on steady and not too tight then you don’t get dints on your tap like others have said. Works a dream
I’ve tried loads of these universal things and they’ve never worked. This one actually does the job. It locks on without spraying all over and I can finally fill my daughters paddling pool with warm water instead of taking forever using buckets.
Easy to install, only works on my bathroom taps, but it’s perfect for the use. It won’t fit on every tap though
We tried a few connectors before we found this one, and this worked perfectly. Easy to install, no leakage around the edge, fits a standard (uk) hose connection. We only used the item once as we needed hot water through the hose that we cannot get from our outdoor tap that we normally use, but it was very helpful for that one use, and I am sure you could use it on an ongoing basis if you don’t have an outdoor tap.
got a small 2 man dishwasher recently sit on kitchen worktop but requires 6/7 litres of water to operate ,not wanting to plumb into mains water pipe was using a jug to fill up washer with water this connector clips very easily to my mixer tap and I now use a small piece (4 feet) of garden hose and quick release connecter to fill dishwasher with the water required saves me from filling up a jug 6/7 times to operate the dishwasher.look and feels good and strong .reckon this is going to be a good buy.
Out of the 3 different taps I have this does fit 2 of them with circle diameter and works great, easy to fit, no leaks, holds in place well.

Excellent connector. Easy to install, and will probably last a while.
One point, when fitting it to the tap, do not screw it on too tight, because you could break it when you lock it in position on the tap.

This is such a brilliant little tool to use. I have wasted so much on different attachments that advertise no leaking etc but they always end up leaking or really hard to get on perfect with extra rubber washers but still leak and have dented my tap, this does none of the above.. it’s so easy to adjust and no fiddling around with washers this is all in one and fits perfectly and is such a good price, I highly recommend we have had no issues at all and has been on & of our tap dozens of times and still as good as the day we got it..
The seal was good. I used it with pressure washer, with no issues or leaks.
A massive plus for me – it allows the tap to be fully closed, which our previous one did not. Kinda glad that one broke now .

Bought this so we could fill a hot tub with hot water I was sceptical and thought it would leak as we have really good pressure but it didn’t it worked how it should and was fantastic wish we’d of bought years ago for paddling pools
This year I came to attach the hose, and could not find the adaptor, which I thought was still attached to the hose.
I decided to buy an inexpensive one, sure that sooner or later the missing one would reappear. I am not very strong and have Carpal Tunnel in both wrists, but had no problem to attach this adaptor to my tap. It did leak a little on first use, but that was because I was unable to tighten the screw beneath the tap sufficiently. I used a wrench to gently tighten without breaking the connector and it has been all plain sailing since, no leaks, not even a drip. I leave the adaptor on my tap because for me it is more convenient to do so. It doesn’t get in the way at all, but best of all, for the first time in 30 years I can use the hose without spraying my kitchen. I would definitely recommend this adaptor.
It should be a simple thing but I have had four different mixer tap connectors, none which fitted my tap despite the description measurements.

Becuase my garden is at the back of my house and the kitchen where the main water supply is , is at the front of the house I found it difficult and costly to install and outside tape from the kitchen to the back of the house, so one solution was to just attach a hose to the kitchen mixer however every fitting I bought wasn’t compatible with the head on the mixer and would always spray out water. I finally found this product and if connected properly WORKS LIKE A DREAM , no spray coming out of the sides and makes a tight seal excellent quality. I even bought a spare one . I would highly recommend this fitting
I saw some negative reviews, but this worked for me. I had to turn the screw thing at the bottom to kinda ‘tune’ it to our taps, but after that it worked perfectly.
I have had hose tap adaptors before and water squirts everywhere, this fitted my kitchen sink perfectly, pulled the lock slightly to tighten, ran water through and no more water everywhere.
Does the trick. A little hit and miss on if there is any leakage or spray but if you line it up correctly and get it as tight as possible it’s fine. Cheap and cheerful but it works well.
Purchased this little gem to fit a friends kitchen tap so I could run a hose from it to pressure wash back yard.
Easy to fit, easily adjustable to fit the tap and once in place remains firmly secure. Confidently had water pressure from tap on full with no leaks or drips.

We have swing top taps, as in not twist but slide the bar across. Finding a hose adapter that doesn’t soak you while trying to fit it, as you have to have the tap on so the bar doesn’t get stopped in the closed position… This one adjusts from the bottom not the top, and admittedly you have to have the tap on whilst you fit it at first, once it’s roughly in the right place, you can secure it and turn the tap off, while you secure the bottom properly. If you have disability tap’s
Didnt fit very well on the taps i have had to pack it to fit and also if there’s any back pressure it does tent to come off, but it works and will probably work better on a different tap than mine

I would this as an extension to go on my kitchen tap with the hose pipe i had bought. This is a very good product if you can learn how to accurately place it on the tap. There is some leak of water as drips but that is normal I suppose as the suction will be different for different taps. Overall does the job if you have a hose that doesn’t fit on a tap. Really good and highly recommend
Best garden hose tap I’ve ever bought and actually works with out drenching your kitchen! Yes some of the reviews are correct that it has to be set correctly or your kitchen will get soaked, but once it’s correct I wan have the tap on full and have no leaks! much better than the screw from the top kind!
This is BRILLIANT! had a look at customer photo’s and we have lever taps very difficult to find a solution for fitting a hose however saw the photo and so easy to use, fits well, sturdy, and now can water garden thanks a million.
Good strong product just have to get it just so on tap so you don’t get a shower lol but still good product for the price
This is the only fitting I’ve found that fits a square, large mixer tap spout perfectly. Previously was having to dremel out the hoselock style ones but that was never a perfect, leak-free fit.

This product is very useful. I bought the hose separately and couldn’t connect the hose to my sink tap. I was browsing online and this is one of the cheapest and had good customer reviews. To be honest this product is worth every penny. Well made and strong. Easy to connect as well.
Someone thought about this and the product works (unlike some of the leaky competition) as the washer is pressed into place directly under the outlet. A bit fiddly to position but it works well – no leaks.
Good product but be careful when using. It dented our kitchen tap. Also make sure it fitted centrally as we had a bit of back pressure on our bathroom tap which caused it to leak. Other than that it is well made and does what is required.
This fitted brilliantly on my kitchen tap. I had been struggling with a different design and got fed up with a wet kitchen when it leaked.
This has finally done away with all that spray and puddles! It is what it says! It clicks down over my tap and locks tight. A perfect solution to attach a hose to a tap!
It secures nicely to most taps and is fairly adjustable. The design flaw is that the actual hole the water goes through is too small and really hard to line up with the tap outlet. It works great now after I cut the rubber seal into a funnel shape.
I wish I had this years ago. I have been trying to connect my hose to my tap for years but with everything I bought water sprayed over the kitchen. This is a brilliant product, you tighten from underneath and then flip down the lever. No leaks whatsoever.
Our hot water tap on the bath stopped working so hooked this up to the mixer tap on the sink while we waited for a plumber. Took a couple of attempts to align in perfectly with the sink tap but it worked a treat after that.
Good product but whenever you tighten it up onto tap it has dented my kitchen tap so will not use again but still worth the money

Hum, not bad, but not great. With a bit of self bodging managed to get a tight seal, ut on uts own didn’t really get that tight. Also dinted the tap.
But for a few uses a year its grand.
This connector works on our flat shaped cold tap. Once you have adjusted the bottom screw so that rubber washer seals tight when you push down the orange clamping bar. Just take your time in adjusting the bottom screw until clamp holds nice and firm.
No leaks with hose/gun connected under pressure, brilliant.
First time I’ve had a tap connector that actually works. Once I got the hang of connecting to the kitchen tap without spraying half the kitchen, it really works well. It may depend on the type of tap you have but for the price it’s worth a try.
What an amazing product, the item was delivered fast and works perfectly for its designed purpose. Easy to use and fast to appplt, so much better than using the standard hose clip style that generally leak water everywhere due to the fit.

I found this worked perfectly on our mixer tap! Fix over the end, align tap, screw up from bottom then flip down lever to tighten. No leakage even when tap opened up full – made filling the paddling pool to keep my wee ones warm a breeze!!!

The hole where the sink tap was meant to go into its quite small so the pressure of the water will quickly splash everywhere,problem solved easily with a towel placed on the sink tap to keep the water into the sink.
I personally didnt use it but my partner did but hesaid it was ok if you dont have an outside tap
I use to use a fitting where you had to turn a tiny key many time to stop it leaking, but still it would fire water everywhere. This fits in less than a second and is so easy to secure it could be fitted by a toddler.
Not a single drip comes from it and your hose pip attaches in seconds. No brainier but it!
Was a bit reluctant, to purchase but needs must and my daughter has no outside tap, her decking/stone steps etc needed power washing.Having read some previous reviews I put a bucket over the tap in case of spray, leaks.I needn’t of worried 4 hrs power washing not 1 drip. Does what it says n the Ti
It worked. Took a bit of time to adjust to no leakage ( there is a screw at bottom you turn to close the gap between tap and seal)
Once adjusted didn’t need a cloth to stop spray. You can use tap as normal with it on.
I have bought a second one so one in kitchen for back garden hose and one in bathroom for front garden. ( live in a bungalow).
I was a bit sceptical at first when I read reviews given by some other users, but when I tried it I was impressed with it. I just had to tweak it to fit my tap and there was no leak. I’ve used it just once it hasn’t disappointed me.
After having new taps installed by the council, my old adaptor didn’t fit (large rubber tube and jubilee clip style). Bought this, even though my taps are smaller than the measurements shown in the diagram. With a little bit of folded up PVC tape between the tap and the adaptor, it fits perfectly, nice and sturdy, no leaks.
Works well but I had issues with two of the three tap types in my house. Won’t work on taps with “curved tops”. Managed to fit it on my bathroom sink tap, no worries. 15m is long enough to feed it through the upstairs window into the garden. Job done.
It’s amazing! My garden desperately needed a jet wash and without a tap in my garden started to panic! Wasnt up for installing a water butt so came across this and it works perfectly! Its easy to dent the tap so be carefull when tightening the adapter as it doesnt need to be that tigh
Works pretty well, does the job. We have a skinny tap kitchen tap so have to put a 2p piece in there so it is tight enough… Works fine on utility room though..
Where has this product been for the last 5 years? I’ve spent nearly one hundred pounds trying to find the right tap connector for my tap. I haven’t got an outside tap due to the location of my kitchen and water pipe. This product is a simple and cheap fix for those who have the same problem as many others. It’s easy to fit, screw the connection to the bottom of the tap then pull the lever down to seal the connection. It takes 2 minutes to fit and there’s no leaks unlike the expensive ones costing well over 10.
Just what you need when you have have modern taps whereby you cannot fit hosepipe by conventional means like an old-fashioned taps we could squeeze the hose pipe around the bottom of the tap nozzle and screw it in place with this adaptor you simply slide is over the top of a tap it is adjustable for different thicknesses of tap ends push down the lever which locks it in place and attach the hose pipe use hose pipe as normal or with a pressure washer for the garden great product and great price
Just what I needed. You need to make sure to line it up correctly otherwise it may leak. Once aligned correctly it works great no leak at all. Noticed a few people mentioning a leak , however once aligned works perfectly. Has made cleaning the fish tank much easier. Brilliant little item

Does the job sometimes slips and water sprays everywhere. A lot depends I suppose on the type of tap.
Does the job well but careful if the head of your top isa swan neck as this will not stay put as it would slip off

I’m actually shocked… ive bought about 10 different connections over the years, not one of them actually fitted the tap and I ended up with water spraying everywhere EVERY TIME. This was a last resort before paying for an outside tap to be fitted (no plumbing at the back of the house, would of cost a fortune)… it was delivered 10 mins ago, I was so excited I ran to check…. it fits! Tap on full power, NOT ONE drop leaked where it shouldn’t. Now I can water my garden, jet wash my patio, without the dread of having to clean up the pools of water the others have always left behind all over my kitchen floor *****

As my kitchen tap is quite slim I had to use a spare rubber washer I had to fit on top of the white insert in the unit to enable me to screw it up nice and tight but then it’s perfect
It is very important that the water flow is in exactly the right position over the hole in the white insert and properly screwed up tight onto the tap before you close down the orange lever to lock it in position

For those who are unsure how to use it, simply lift the red ‘lever’, place it over your tap so the bottom of the inside of the hole in the product is parallel to the underneath of your tap, screw the bottom of the product up so it is flush with the underneath of your tap and then push the lever back to lock it into place.
I was starting to feel so STUPID.
I couldn’t work out how to connect my newly purchased hose to my weird kitchen or bathroom taps.
I was thoroughly confused with “male, female, inches, cm, diameters” and differing brand names.
I’m not physically well enough right now to humph my 10l watering can in and out the flat – and up and down the steps….

This was on my tap and connected to my hose successfully within 5 minutes of it arriving…. and 2 minutes of that were unpacking, opening and tidying away packaging.
My plants (potted, so watering is even more of a vital chore) were soaking up their juice within another 5 minutes.
I connected the hose to the cold water bath tap, ran it the length of the flat and out a partially opened window. No leaks – so long as you take the time to test the connection, gradually increasing the water pressure, for leaks BEFORE you run it all at high(er) rate.
I say – don’t hesitate to purchase. I’ve been struggling on with a watering can for 3 years. Don’t be like me.
Before I had this installed I had problems with other product which caused leakage not anymore thanks to this awesome product!

Till this moron realised the bottom part that attaches to the hose can be screwed up or down to fit any tap

Well worth the money
it works by pressing down the orange lever at the tap to gradually clamp on to the tap so it will accommodate taps of different sizes and doesn’t need a thread to screw in to which is useful.
When fitting to a tap firstly make sure the orange lever is facing you and in the up position.Then position over your tap.Screw the the part on the tap connector which fits on the under side of your tap upwards making a tight seal on your tap.Then push orange lever down to make a firm seal. If you get minor leaks or small water spray from the side of this it’s easy to make minor adjustment to get a seal.It can then be left in position when you don’t have a hosepipe conected
Overall it is great and easy to use saving lots of work and costs from having to have an outside tap plumbed in.
