Really good power and hand held usability. Went through 4″ tree branches effortlessly. Battery seems to have a good usage length between charges. Only negatives: The plastic chain guard broke off quite easily when knocked against a tree. The blade seems to have blunted quite quickly, and whilst there is a sharpening tool provided, there are no instructions on how to sharpen the chain. And as well reported in other reviews, there is no safety switch which could potentially cause problems if you are not fully in control.

We have a log burner so obviously need logs, we’re surrounded by woods so this is ideal for cutting up smaller trees that have fallen, It needs putting togther when received which was a bit of a faff but ok, Just wish the battery lasted longer, few trees cut and it’s gone, can’t find another one either which is a pain overall pretty good
