I was looking for a scale that would grow with the baby. Came across this MomMed option and it has worked out perfectly. The scale seems accurate and the baby doesn’t mind laying on it. It makes it straightforward to track their weight as they grow. Once the baby can stand, I plan to remove the top piece so they can stand on the scale. The scale has a relatively small footprint, perfect for a toddler.
Have to make sure you aren’t moving at all, very sensitive to movement but works great!
I purchased this 2 years ago, and the battery compartment is now corroded and the base is now unusable. This has been stored indoors 100% of the time, I am wondering if the manufacturer can ship me a new base? Otherwise, I like the scale very much.
Work as advertised. Compared to other scales and seems to be accurate and consistent. Took off one star because the plastic material isn’t very durable, it bends a little under adult weight. When placing pet or baby on the tray, they need to be still to get a good reading. But overall a good product and would recommend.
This is a great scale! I recently had a baby and am breast feeding. My little one wasn’t gaining much weight so we bought the scale to better monitor his weight gain. It works great!!

I bought this to weigh my baby. The tray you lay them in is larger than the doctor’s ones so easier to use. I weighed a bag of sugar when I first got it which was spot on, and a tub of formula later which it was close on (I’m not sure how much the packaging weighs so not sure how close but within 80g). I’ve had a couple of different readings which I think is from positioning the baby on the scale differently but they’re always within 2oz of each other, which is negligible and I can’t imagine you’d get it more accurate without some seriously professional kit.
I received this scale and am delighted that it is exactly as represented. Quick to put together and will be a joy to use. Wish I had one like this when I had my own babies.

Excellent product- the weight of our little one is immediately recorded in the app so we can see how he progresses (it also shows nicely in the graph). You can also measure the height and record in the app. Very pleased with the purchase!

Great product which was really easy to set up. We are using it for all our pets (parrots and rabbits) to keep track of their weight. The app shows a graph of each pet and their weight. Great product and idea!
Pretty accurate !! My baby lost too my weight after birth. 12% of her birth weight and she is a breastfed baby. Gives me peace in mind to see she is actually gaining weight and doesn’t have to be going to an appointment for it!!! And the price it’s perfect so so worth it!
I just used it for the first time today and the weight matched with me weighing on another scale. It’s light and easy to use. There’s one thing I don’t understand but I will have to read manual for that. Otherwise very simple to use. I will update if needed.
Two very anxious parents as the little one had some faltering growth now thankfully resolved. Weights the same as health visitor readings. Can plot them on the WHO app and make sure little one is growing as per his centile.

I bought this to not only track the growth of my daughter but to do weighted feeds since she is breastfed mostly with a bottle or two a day. I think it’s pretty accurate but I’m not 100% sure but so far it seems to be! It’s pretty easy to use & seems like good quality & is super easy to put together. One thing that’s tricky is having a wiggly baby & trying to read it to be accurate but otherwise it’s a great product very glad I bought it!

I found this to be a very good scale for my baby. Given that the midwife is unable to do home visits due to the lockdown, this was an essential item and it was refreshing to receive an item as advertised. Would recommend.
I got this scale to keep a rough estimate of my baby’s weight to make sure he’s on track in between his doctors appointments. This scale is perfect for that purpose. So far, it seems to be pretty accurate, plus or minus one ounce. For my purposes, it works totally fine.

We’ve used a hand full of times so far and seems to be a good quality product. Easy to set up and begin using. Images online do show it to have a little more precise measuring than what we’ve been able to do,but it allows us to get a close weight estimate for our infant.

when it comes to 5 moths or 6 the baby’s legs are hanging out the tray.
The weight is amazingly accurate but if the entire body is not in the tray you can’t make it thay accurate.
This scale is perfect for getting baby’s weight! My baby was born early and had IUGR so we were very worried about making sure he is gaining weight between doctors appointments. This scale is great! I have found it to be very accurate when compared to the scale at our peds office. I have even tested it by weighing my baby before and after a bottle feeding and it was spot on! It can even be set to show you weight in pounds and ounces at the same time. I have found if baby is moving around a lot it is hard to get a precise measurement. There is a hold function, but baby needs to be relatively still when you press it. This scale has helped put our minds at ease and I can’t say enough good things about it.
I searched so much for a descent baby scale, and with so much mixed reviews, it wasn’t easy to choose one.
I decided to take a chance on this one, even though it was more expensive, but so far , it’s very good.
Have been researching scales to weigh one of my cats who appears to be loosing weight. Had no problem getting the cat on the scales and can now monitor his weight without lots of visits to the vet. So will save me time and money. Up to now very pleased.
Resulta muy til para controlar el peso de un beb y evitar preocupaciones. Ms ahora que en la mayora de farmacias no tienen bscula para bebs por el protocolo anti covid.
La bscula sin bandeja tiene buen tamao porque es muy estrechita y a nosotros nos cabe debajo de un mueble columna de Ikea que tenemos. La nica pega es que la bandeja mide slo 60cm de largo y por tanto la escala que tiene dibujada se queda pequea muy rpido, slo para medir bebs de menos de 3 meses.

Update: Unsere Tochter ist 9,5 Monate und sie sitzt auf der Waage. Fr neugeborene gibt es eine art Schale zum straufstecken, ich habe auf der Schale immer eine Unterlage drauf gelegt damit es nicht kalt ist fr unsere Tochter. Die Waage ist super und funktioniert bis zu 100 kg. Die Waage hat noch 2 funktionen dazu die ich aber nicht kenne, ich meine das eine sind runzen also fr Gold sicher bin ich mir allerdings nicht. Fr Erwachsene und Babys/Kleinkinder ist sie super.

Accurate scale, just not accurate enough. Needed a scale for weighted baby feeds and this scale wasn’t accurate enough.
I did weigh heavier objects to test accuracy and it was correct, just couldn’t differentiate small changes in weight, such as 0.5 to 1 ounce with accuracy.
I bought this to do weighted feeds for my newborn. The attachment to make the baby scale is very easy to assemble and disassemble. If you are using it to weigh an infant, they have to be reasonably still before it’ll give you an accurate reading. Also, the baby scale is removable and it becomes a regular scale. Multipurpose for the win!
This scale was an excellent purchase, as it is nice to know how my baby’s weight is progressing between pediatric visits. The product quality is great considering the cost, and my baby seems to find the tray quite comfortable. (My cats also don’t seem to disagree with the comfort of the tray.) Very satisfied with this product/purchase.
Facile, precisa e relativamente piccola.
Il piatto in metallo e leggermente a conca accoglie bene il neonato. E’ piuttosto duro e rimanendo freddo pu dare fastidio al bambino. E’ possibile per mettere un piccolo asciugamano ed usare la funzione di tara per ovviare al problema.
Le batterie durano tantissimo ed a pi di 2 mesi di utilizzo non le abbiamo mai sostituite.

My newborn was really struggling to gain weight in the early days and weeks. I initially rented a scale from a local maternity store for $35 for the week until I decided to buy a scale. While this one doesn’t have an app, it still meets our needs just fine. The tare and hold features are especially great. I place a swaddle cloth on the scale tray and my little one rests comfortably while being weighed. I’m glad that we can continue using it as he grows too. A great purchase.
My baby was born a micro preemie and spent 5 months in the NICU. We have her home now, but have had some weight gain issues. We ordered this scale for peace of mind to monitor her weight in between appointments. It works excellent, gives correct weight, and we are so glad to not feel so anxious in between appointments now.
The accuracy is OK. I compared with the hospital grade scale. The error range is wiyhin 2 oz. But if you use it to weight how much breast milk your baby takes, it might not be accurate enough.

Excellent baby scale. We bought it to track our breastfed infant’s weight as he wasn’t gaining weight as quickly as he should. Very accurate. We weighed him right before we took him to the doctor, and he weighed the same on their scale. Very easy to use and set up. We have a 2.5yr and we weigh him on it too. Worth the purchase as you can use it past the infant period. Would definitely recommend as baby scale

My baby was born premature and we had issues with him gaining weight, so this set my mind at ease when we stopped our semiweekly pediatrician visits. I’ve tested the zero / tare our with 3 and 5 pound weights and the read is always accurate or within 1% if you’re using the lb read. Really easy to assemble. Great to know this will be usable as he grows as well. I’m assuming any issues in weight readouts from other reviews are from assembling errors or someone accidentally putting weight on any part of the scale when zeroing out.
I purchased this for my pets (2 kittens, 1 dog) and it is so convenient. The display in pounds or grams is wxactlt what i need for such small animals and ive weighed them every day since it arrived. It’s extremely easy to use, gpod quality, sturdy enough for them to walk on, and sensitive to fluctuations throughout the day.
The weight seems different when i place it on the ground versus on a counter, but otherwise I’m very happy. It tooks seconds to assemble and turn on.

My daughter was losing weight after she was born and I didn’t want to wait for a visit to the doctor to know what was happening. I bought this and it made me feel so much better keeping track of her weight. It’s about an ounce or so off of what my doctor’s office scale says. Absolutely easy to assemble. It worked out even better during this whole pandemic because my doctor has us do e-visits and I can weigh her at home so we don’t have to risk going into the clinic.

I have 2 cats with health problems and I need to keep careful track of their weight. This scale does a great job for me–the only thing I would change would be to make it in lbs and ounces instead of lbs and tenths of a lb. My vet’s scale is in lbs and ounces, so when I weigh my cat and it says 9.7 lbs, I have to figure out how many ounces that 0.7 lb is. Other than that, it’s great.
For the ones saying they had trouble with it, just remember you have to turn it on and after it lights up it’s when you can place baby on the scale. If you turn it on when baby is already laying there it will weight at 0 because it thinks that’s the weight of the plate.
It gives results in kilograms, pounds and ounces. Bare in mind that if it reads 10.5lb, it does not mean 10lb 5oz. It should be 10lb and 8oz.
My only complaint is they shipped the scale in the actual scale box, not an Amazon box. Could have arrived damaged or could have been stolen if someone wanted a scale.
Easy to assemble, arrived on time. Like that it has a zero button. My one month old fits fine on it, seems sturdy enough.
I liked it from the moment I opened it up. I love how it switches between ounces and pounds but I do wish it had pounds with ounces to be easier. I like how it goes up to 220lbs so all of us can use it not just the baby. Great product so far. I am excited to use this for those in between visits to the doctor and when I have my next baby. I can check height and weight with the attachment.
I weighed my son right before we went to the pediatrician and the difference was 7oz less with this scale (he even peed right before the pediatrician weighed him) so I can’t say it is 100% accurate. Although, I would still recommend it as it is easy to use and lets me know if my son is gaining, giving me peace of mind.
Compared to the scale at the doctor’s office, this scale is always a few OZ less, BUT as I only use it to make sure that my preterm baby is gaining weight, it is perfect! Adding a pillow to hold the baby steady also helps for a better read.

I purchased this product to be able to weigh my new baby English bulldogs and love. it it’s easy to use. Works in kg, oz and lbs. I also use it with my grandchildren to weigh them and works great as well!! Easy to assemble and operate. Also for those wiggly babies like my English bulldogs it has a ‘hold” button to be able to get a more accurate reading as well. Would highly recommend this product. Also I got a free gift and had the opportunity to speak with a representative and they were very polite and responded quickly.
We have only used the scale a few times, but it was accurate each time. Its pretty light weight so I was skeptical at first, especially to put the baby on it. It is actually very sturdy. Im glad we have something to help us keep track of baby’s growth and not just waiting until her drs appts. Im very pleased with this product.
Ordered this after there was concern that our newborn wasn’t gaining enough weight with breastfeeding.
Overall fairly accurate relative to our pediatricians scale that was used. Only accurate however, out to a couple of decimals on the kg scale, or out to 0.5 oz on the ounce scale. So, not a good option if you are trying to do pre & post feed weights (wouldn’t be resolute enough). But if you are just wanting to track your newborns weight between pediatrician visits would recommend it. Additionally, have to make sure you are sitting it on a hard, flat surface (e.g. NOT carpet) to get an accurate reading. Just like at the Dr. office, if you’re baby is squirming, you aren’t going to get an accurate reading.
It was easy to put together. It’s plastic but seems that’ll it hold up as long as you aren’t throwing it against the wall or dropping it.
I have twin babies that were born at 36 weeks. They were struggling to gain weight the first few weeks. We had weekly doctor appointments to keep track of their weight progress, but i decided I would like to have a scale for myself at home. I got this one and measured both babies right before we went to their next appointment to see how accurate the scale was. Almost every time we have compared this scale to the one at the doctor’s, this one has been about 4oz off (lower). Overall, it is a great scale and very easy to use! Just a little inaccurate.
1/ I have established that my kitchen scale is accurate because I would weigh my baby right before she goes to the pediatrician, and my kitchen scale has the same reading as the pediatrician’s scale consistently (3 separate times)
2/ I weighed various random objects on both my kitchen scale and Mommed baby scale and they had almost exactly the same readings (except that my kitchen scale measure in 0.1oz increments and Maymom baby scale is in 0.5oz increments)
3/ I weighed my baby before she ate, then gave her a 2oz bottle (so I know exactly how much milk is in there). Once she finished the bottle, I weighed her again and she gained 2oz.
Other notes:
A/ Given the baby scale is in 0.5 oz increments, this is not as accurate as those scales at the lactation consultants to measure how much milk baby takes at the breast, but it’s still a good indication and I’m happy with it for the price.
B/The tray is removable which makes the scale versatile and everyone in the family can use it. The tray also has a ruler which I found thoughtful as I can measure my baby’s height.
C/ The scale measures in kg/lb/oz. My only suggestion is show the weight in both lb and oz at the same time. For example, the current display would be either 10.7 lbs or 170.5 oz (1 decimal place), so to get to recording it in growth tracking apps (I use baby center), it would take some simple math to convert it to 10 lbs 10.5 oz. Not a big deal but just an extra step.
Conclusion: I highly recommend this baby scale for the peace of mind to track your baby’s growth between well visits!
P.S. The excellent customer service I received was worth mentioning. There was a somewhat large gap when I put the tray together and I asked Mommed if that’s normal, they responded AND sent me another scale within 24 hours of my inquiry. Customer service can’t get better than that!
