This is an excellent quality item that does exactly as it says. There’s literally is no assembly required. It is so simple and just a one-touch tent. Select the right spot that is a big enough area. You lift up to open. To collapse you press the button. You can finish the install and remove in 10 seconds. It really couldn’t be easier and is so clever.
The beach tent has a 50+ anti uv coating protecting us from the sun rays. Fortunately it is also a high grade waterproof fabric to protect us from the likely rainfalls!
The tent fits 2 adults and 2 children just sitting, but more comfortably fits 3 people to allow room to play and move. The dimensions of the tent are: Length 200, width 150 and height 120cm when put up.
This is a really great product and I think it is more expensive than similar items because it is better quality.
We took this on a camping trip last week and got a lot of use out of it. It is a really good size and provides a lot of shelter. We had it set up outside the main tent for our 1 and 4 year olds to use as a play tent with the friends they made at the campsite – kept them from running around the main tent and leaving a trail of crumbs from snacks! We also took it on 2 beach trips but as you can’t peg it out on the sand we had issues with the wind pushing it in at one side and had to weigh it down with our bags etc so it didn’t blow away! It is pretty easy to put up and down, not quite so easy to get it back in the bag but doable. Once up some of the stitiching seems overly stretched and I fear these will become weak points and develop holes with continued use. The main door zips down and can be rolled up at the bottom, personally I would have prefered the option to roll it up and secure at the top as well or even to zip the whole door panel off completely. There are 3 mesh windows that also have zip down panels if you want privacy for getting changed at the beach. Overall a good buy, we will probably have this set up in the garden over the summer too as we don’t have much natural shade.
I was expecting this tend to be quite heavy given the size but I was surprised in the best way.
It doesn’t come with the poles and the added difficulty of having to eject it.
I simply took this out the box and it practically ejected itself.
User-friendly and for somebody who doesn’t read instructions it took me less than 10 seconds to work out how to put it back down again.
It has what I would only describe as an umbrella function absolutely fantastic idea so chuffed with it.
This tent comes in a storage bag and I’d say rather compact which makes it ideal for popping in the car for trips.
The material feels excellent quality nylon and is very easy to put together. There’s already some folding poles which are already in place and go to where they need to once you begin putting it together. It literally all goes together in seconds.
It has a little door at the front which is actually the full size of that side of the tent. It can be unzipped and rolled all the way down creating a great opening for adults to get in and out of.
I’d say this is appropriate beach tent for 3 people on the beach for shelter. Ideal for cover from the sun.
There’s also little mesh windows which are great to allow air flow through the tent and to see out. You can also zip them up to create privacy.
It’s also not too bad dismantling either and I’d say goes down pretty well. It also comes with pegs to peg it down to the ground.
I’d say this is a great shelter for the beach and easily transported without taking up too much space.

It is good sized and you can fit camping mats inside for better comfort.
The size is good for 2 people ,but you can probably get 3-4 people inside , as a shelter tent.
The tent has ventilation windows, which is really good when it is warm and you need fresh air flow.
It is a great tent for beach and for camping.

I ordered this for my daughter to use for her two young boys when they go to the beach or park as she was going to order a smaller version but this one looked so much better.
On opening, this tent comes inside a fabric carrying bag to make it easier to take out with her from place to place and the whole thing is very light so even the five year old is able to carry it.
We haven’t had the weather to be able to use this on location as of yet but she did put it up in her living room just as a test and to see how it worked. She tells me that once removed from the carry bag that it literally goes up in one easy motion and both of her boys can fit easily into it for a little privacy at the same time, this will be especially good for the five year old who is already getting very coy when it comes to changing in public, lol.
The tent itself is made from a very light but strong feeling fabric that also looks to have a waterproof coating so it should work in most weathers. Unlike the smaller versions of this type of tent, this one also comes with some lightweight ropes and ground pegs so it can be used in windy conditions without having to chase the tent all around the beach, lol. I’m not sure how well the pegs will hold in sand but on a grassy area they should do a good job and will only be needed should the weather become blowy, otherwise the tent will work perfectly well without the need for pegging it down.
Putting the tent away again took her a little longer that opening it up but she tells me that this will become much quicker and easier with practice so she is very happy with the way this works and how easy it is to use, especially as she has never used anything like this before.
Terrific small tent for the children and good value for the size and quality.

This is the Asofty Store UV 50+ Pop Up Beach Tent 3-4 person, with zipper front, carry bag, 4 x ropes and 8 x tent pegs. Measures 200 x 130 x 150cm, weighs 2kg and is made of 170T Water Resistant / UPF 50+ UV Protection Polyester In Blue / Silver.
If you have a small family then you will know how invaluable these tents are, whether it’s keeping your belongings on, keeping out the sun, having a crafty snooze or putting a toddler in for a nap. This is huge, it has a front open porch bit, 2 x side flaps and a large rear ventilation flap. I can lie down sideways in this tent or long ways and only my legs stick out (and I’m 6″3), that is how big it is!
And best if all, you just unpack, it pops up by pulling the centre top and laying out legs. Putting away can be frustrating though, as you gotta foldaway legs and squash in carrier ha.
I like these items, as they keep the sand away, combined with a couple of parachute beach blanket it’s a winner.
Hopefully this Summer this will be put to good use on a beach in Norfolk.
I recommend this item, as I have a similar item that cost more and is smaller. A couple of niggles, packing away and the zips don’t fill me with confidence!

I definitely prefer this type of pop up beach tent compared to the round ones that are impossible to get back in their bags.
This one is much better and much more portable and easier to carry in its bag , the packed size is much smaller than I expected and isn’t heavy at all to carry, it also won’t take up too much room in your car boot when travelling to the beach or park.
It’s a doddle to put up , the built in frame just lifts up and the tent pops up and is fully erected in seconds, it’s a sturdy structure one put up, it will hold up to moderate winds and is spacious inside , a great place to shelter from the wind, rain and sand blasts on the beach.
It has mesh window panels for ventilation, pegs to peg it down.
It could be used in the park or on a field , beach or in the back garden.
You can sit 3 or 4 people in it to eat a picnic or get changed into swim shorts for a bit of privacy.
Overall this is a good option for a beach shelter, good carry case , goes up in minutes, spacious, sturdy , much better than the round carry case ones that are a nightmare to pack away.
I was really surprised and impressed how quick it was to put up and to putting bag down when not needed. the Tent itself comes in a a bag so easy to store away in the nag of the car if out and about or in a small space n the garage when not using as will not take much room up. I was also impressed that the front door you can zip up and have some privacy if changing on the beach always handy with little ones, but also likes this front door also zipped all the way down to the floor so can also be used for extra seating – I would say the tent could fit 3/4 people.
I was expecting a beach shelter but this as more like a lightweight tent and thus far more useful. It is supplied in a brown box containing; the tent itself in one piece, 8 x tent pegs, 4 x guy lines and a nylon zip up storage bag around 65cm in length and 15cm in diameter when packed away. I could not find any instructions with mine though.
The tent is made from 170T grade Oxford nylon material which should be waterproof and has attached folding poles that fold into place when you lift the centre. It can be erected in seconds and and then secured with the pegs and ropes if needed. It has a front opening that can be unzipped and rolled down to the floor providing access or a larger seating area if used as a beach shelter. There are also mesh windows on the rear panel and either side that have zip covers to keep rain out.
to pack the tent away you lift the top of the tent to release it and fold the support legs by pulling them to release them before folding them up. Then roll everything up and squeeze it back in the storage bag.
This is a versatile product doubling as a beach shelter and a lightweight tent. It offer good protection from the weather as well as a built in ground sheet and adjustable ventilation. It is simple to put up and take down and reasonably sturdy when erected. At less than 50 this tent is great value.

I have never put up a tent before, and when I opened the box to check it over, the lack of instructions momentarily startled me. However, once out of its snazzy bag, it more or less put itself up. Amazing! It is pretty clear where the ground hooks go, and where to tether the tent to gain stability.
The material seems very durable, and there are side draw strings to let a breeze through, all the while offering sun protection. I have a dog with a lot of white fur and pink skin, who burns terribly, but loves the warmth of the sun, so this is ideal for hot beach days and picnics. I hate being exposed to a) the sun and b) alot of people so it suits me too!
To take it down, think of it like an umbrella, and it is incredibly easy. From putting it up, to taking it down and zipping it back into the bag, it took just 5 minutes!

With this product you get what you pay for 50 won’t get you much in terms of quality and this is by no means a poor product but it only just passes the quality test this is a very convenient sun shelter and that’s what you’re really paying for just don’t expect it to last.
The tent pegs and guy lines are rubbish so you will need to replace them ASAP you may also want to invest in something to tie/strap up your tent before putting it away other than the ribbon they give you.
The tent itself is adequate it will offer you shelter from the sun and light bouts of rain it’s nice and large will easily fit two adults three at a push there’s plenty of ventilation and all zips work really well despite feeling a little on the cheapside
The best part about this tent/shelter is it’s extremely quick to put up and take down and it’s extremely lightweight and very easy to carry you’ll have no problem carting this for miles at a time.
We haven’t used it yet but plan to use it this summer. But kids put it up to play in the garden. It is extremely easy to set up and the UV protection is and added bonus. Watch the video about taking it down properly. After doing it once or twice, it’s a natural and quick motion. I can not wait to go to beach to use it now
I picked up this little beach shelter as it looked a bit more substantial than the regular pop-up types and this is definitely more tent like.
It comes packed away in its storage bag and is fairly compact at around 65cm in length and 15cm in diameter.
The tent is made from a reasonably thick Oxford nylon material and has a series of pre-attached folding poles that snap into place when you lift the centre piece. The whole thing can be erected in just a few seconds and it works in a similar way to the popular Kyham range of tents.
The main door covers the complete front of the tent and can be unzipped and rolled down to the floor to create a large 3 / 4 person beach shelter. There is a large mesh window on the rear panel and a smaller mesh window on either side. These all have zip down covers to add privacy and to keep rain out, or can be rolled up and tied in place to allow air to flow through.
Packing the tent away is also pretty straightforward and simply involves squeezing the top locking parts together which lets you drop the top of the tent to the ground, before pulling the lower leg joints slightly to release them and then folding them inwards. Finally, you just need to roll everything up and pop it back in the storage bag (being careful not to catch any material in the zip).
The tent can be secured to the ground using the provided pegs, with ground anchor points located on each corner and the 4 included guy lines.

If you want a beach shelter that is a bit more sturdy and offers better wet weather protection than the pop-up style shelters offer, then this could be a reasonable choice.
It offers a decent amount of space and is quick and easy to put up and take down and is quite compact for convenient storage.

Great tents, goes up easily and packs away almost as easily once you have the knack. My husband certainly prefers this to the loo up tent we have had for years which is easy when you know how but he disagrees. It folds down into a surprisingly small bag but is a decent size for in the garden or taking to the beach. It is sturdy and perfect for protecting little ones, getting changed or trying to keep grass or sand out your sandwiches.
Although the advertised 3-4 people might be a squeeze for adults, children would probably fit in this 50+ UV protective shelter, its also advertised as waterproof, though I haven’t tried it. It erects easily and quickly, putting it back in the storage bag is no trauma either, a light pull on the ‘elbow’ joints on each leg, frees it up and allows it to fold, although there are no instructions my wife worked this out in seconds where I was struggling – I would eventually have got there!!-. Plenty of ventilation windows that can be covered and secured with zips or tied in the open position makes it airy too. Light to carry, easy to erect and store UV and water repellent with a fixed groundsheet, carefully used it should give a long service life. I think its well worth five stars…

We just tried pitching the tent in our back garden and I was impressed with how quickly it pops up.
It’s fairly easy to collapse it back into the zipped carrying case too.
I also liked the fact that, unlike some beach tents, this one has a front flap that can be zipped shut for privacy. The side and rear “windows” can be rolled up and tied open too.
My only criticisms are that, unlike our previous beach tent, this one doesn’t have pockets around the base so you can weigh it down, but relies on more traditional guy lines and pegs. I’m unsure how effective that will be at the beach. Also, the zips seem rather thin and fragile and I’m unsure how long they will remain functional.
Don’t want to be too critical though. For under fifty quid, this is a very nice product, suitable for a couple of adults and a little one.
Will update this review when we’ve really put the tent through its paces at West Wittering or Bognor Regis beach, as soon as the weather warms up a bit.
his is an impressive quick assembly tent. you simply take it out of the bag and then it expands into the full tent with no real effort required – my 9 year old did it all by himself. putting it away required a little more effort but thanks to the collapsible supports, it’s not too bad.
good quality all round other than the zipper which sticks quite a bit and has to be done up VERY carefully and the window covers, which don’t appear to have any fastenings to keep them open. otherwise a very good product.

Inside sits the blue carry case that contains the pop up beach/ camping tent . There literally is no assembly . There’s a four pronged piece of black plastic that looks a bit like the top of an umbrella . You pull up from the bottom and the tent opens up , once you’ve pulled far enough it clicks into place .
There are steel ground stakes to keep the bottom of the tent centered and guide ropes to ensure it doesn’t move in the wind .
This is the perfect size for a couple with small kids and versatile , because the material is waterproof and UVA proof it can be used on the beach , at a picnic while out camping the possibilities are endless .
It doesn’t have door flaps but does have two screen windows . Undr 50 for a versatile tent of this size makes it good value for money too .
