This product was a gift for my husband and, according to him, it works fine. I was concerned about that because of the condition of the box when it was received. The interior package holding the camera was open. It appeared that there were previously clear tabs holding the box closed but both of them had been breached. It was clear that someone opened the box. However, as far as we can tell, the camera was not used or damaged.
This body cam takes fantastic videos. Excellent infrared and normal. Switches to infrared flawlessly. The audio leaves you wanting better. I use this camera on my ghost hunting.

Excellent battery life and seems to be a great design. Great for gathering evidence and is a great deterrent. However this model does not seem to be made to be water resistant. Recommend keeping an out of rain. Suspect prolonged exposure to snow and mist is likely to harm the camera. The infrared illuminators can be seen when you look directly at them, which might work as a deterrent, but the other side of the coin change behavior of criminals so evidence can’t be gathered.
I’ve made great use of this camera. There are lots of things to learn about it. The instructions are helpful but could be written better. I like that I can copy and paste the videos to my computer without taking out the memory card. The buttons are difficult to push but maybe I have fat fingers.

I brought this body worn camera for my for my Bouncer/Security work and it came with everything I needed but not a SD card but u can pick one up fairly cheap I brought a mount that goes with the camera perfectly aswell. It has night vision which the quality is amazing with or without night vision. The settings was easy to set up to how ever you see fit and suits you, I honestly highly recommend this amazing camera. I had one tiny concern about when you click the light button 2x a white light flashes along with a siren sound so I messaged the seller to see if it can be turned off in the settings and Grace replied and without me knowing she was gonna do it she sent me a software update that I apply to the camera which would turn it off she gone above and beyond to help me and I really appreciate it soo thank you Grace for your amazing customer service/support the is alot of features that I like about the camera that I cant list them all but rest ashore if you need help or a simple question Grace and her team (if its not just her) will be there to help you out thank you

So far this camera has been excellent, and has every function I knew I needed and some I didn’t.

There was a critical moment when audio was needed in an audio-video recording of yobs who continually target people with anti-social behaviour, which the local authorities won’t deal with unless provided with evidence to compel them to deal with this ongoing problem in Orkney.
Audio volume just won’t work well with the audio-video recording, despite correct settings for audio accompaniment.
Boblov after-sales customer support, especially by someone called Grace, was excellent, and I was sent replacement units that are an improvement. It is a problem I think most body cameras have, which is that the subject carrying the unit will always have a louder recorded voice than the objects (targeted speakers) will have their voices recorded (being further away from the body camera)
I give it only four stars because even the replacement units have a problem with audio-video file deletions: files not selected in the menu on the unit may get deleted when one has chosen a different file to delete. One will have to download the files to PC/Laptop to avoid deleting the wrong files not of one’s choosing.
Otherwise the units are of excellent quality, and I like the feature of being able to press the audio-video button without having to go through the on-off button. Also, one may take pictures while doing voice (not audio-video) recording only.
Im a security guard and It fits tightly into my work shirt as there is a small gap in this angle for me it only captures above the waist and when you listen back to a recording on the Boblov the sound is quite scruffy but when you connect it through computer it’s much better. Overall it’s a great deterrent as people change demeanor when they realize they are being recorded.
The Boblov KJ21 1296P body camera arrived quickly and well-packaged the day after I ordered it. Also with it were a magnetic holder (see photo) and a 128GB micro SD card, both of which I had ordered separately.
The instruction booklet that came with the camera was, imho, absolutely useless and I resorted to watching a video on a well-known website to see how to complete the set-up. Here are the problems I faced with everything ‘straight out of the box’:
1. No indication in the instructions or on the camera about which way round the micro SD card goes into the slot on the camera. That can be a real nightmare if you guess wrong and get it stuck.
2. No indication that the camera has to be set to ‘on’ for video sound (it is stupidly factory set at ‘off’). I only found this out after scrolling through the menu following 30 minutes of footage which produced no sound.
3. The icons on the camera buttons are impossible to see without shining a torch on them. Black, slightly raised icon outlines on a black background isn’t exactly a clever idea.
4. No instructions on how to properly insert the clip into the slot at the back of the camera. I eventually got there, though, by working it out for myself (see photo) – but should I have actually been made to…?
5. The same clip is very difficult to press open to clip it onto the magnetic holder.
6. Wearing the camera on a tee shirt with the magnetic holder in place makes the camera top-heavy when in use. Being that it is summertime at the moment, in which we are in the middle of a heatwave, I have not tried the set-up while wearing my overcoat.
7. Scrolling through the camera’s menu is slow and laborious, and operating the scrolling buttons is extremely fiddly with my fingers.
8. Date can only be set to US-style (see photo, which shows 8 July 2022)
Having got beyond the above negatives, here’s the positives:
1. The inaugural footage that I managed to take was of good colour and good clarity at 1080.
2. I also took some footage indoors albeit on a very sunny day and the clarity was impressive.
3. Footage can be played back through the mini screen on the back of the camera in the first instance, which I didn’t know could be achieved when I ordered the camera. Perhaps that info was on the sales page and maybe I missed it. Either way, I like this idea.
4. The ‘bleeps and whistles’ on the camera can be annoying but, to me, they are reassuring that things are working. I did try turning them off and I didn’t think that was a good idea, so I turned them back on again.
5. The camera seems to be of tough quality plastic, so I am hoping for a long and successful relationship with it.
All in all, providing the camera lasts me for several years, I will not feel hard-done-by after spending a small fortune on this gadget and additional accessories. Initially I wanted it as security for when I am walking out and about but, I have also recognised a use for it when I am in the garden, to afterwards show family sceptics just how much work I do out there.
Do I recommend this camera? Well, yes and no. If you have a use for this type of camera and you have the budget then ‘go for it’. If not, well, it is what it is.
Quick review because I really like this bodycam. Easy to figure out. Has a really strong clip, but I made my own case as they recommend not to play with the clip too much due to the body’s plastic construction vs clip being a big hard to open. Crisp screen in the back, but I keep it shut to minimize battery drain. Highly recommend to give you peace of mind !
I purchased one of these for peace of mind, and I’m really impressed the quality sound video and performance is very good.
I did have a issue when playing the videos back they were freezing and jumping.i contacted support for this product and very quickly received a response.after exchanges of some data to and from the issue was resolved.
Well pleased but I must mention this product I purchased can only be view correctly using VLC media player,it won’t work with windows and standard video players.
I have messaged the tech support and made them aware and the agree and has passed this information on for future developments.
Unfortunately at the time of writing this review it was working fine but tried it again on the 11/06/2022 it fail to play the videos recorded.contacted Amazon Tech and they advised a return.its worth mentioning now that if your thinking of purchasing one of these makes please be aware you could encounter this same issue.
These cameras are a hit or miss. My first one was faulty. I sent it back. Fingers crossed for this one. My first bodycam could not take photos and this one could not either. It overheats when it’s on standby. As long as the video works with audio when recording is on, that is acceptable. I hope it lasts.
I was super hesitant about buying. I talked to a few of my coworkers and low and behold, they all have used this brand for 2+ years. I ordered one myself and I have to say I am beyond impressed. It’s super easy to use. Made exceptionally well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT IF YOURE LOOKING FOR A BODY CAMERA
Set the infrared to auto and it will switch auto at night and the red lights are nice. A separate white light will shine on the front when camera is charged, and when actively recording, there’s also a green light which will remain illuminated until recording is over.
Buy the camera by itself, THEN buy yourself a 128GB SD card (way cheaper to do it this way).
The response time to button press is very fast. Very impressed w this thing compared to other dash cams. This body worn camera can be used in many instances, not just the body.
Pros.
Works really well for something this affordable. Can insert a Micro SD card for storage, no need to buy the other models. Battery life is the best thing about the cam. Audio records well enough. Simple button controls.
Cons.
Video is decent when still, not so much when moving fast. IR mode is good, but not very far. Unless you have some sort of body cam stabilizer, this will wiggle around a lot. Don’t get this wet, internals exposed via USB slot and SD card insert.
My personal opinion on this product is a good buy for what it’s worth.
I have used the body warn cameras for some time on my crash helmet .
The reason being go pros and other cheaper knock offs have abysmal battery life and the beauty of the body cams are the staying power 8 or 9 hours of continuous use .
Nothing worse than only getting an hour at best and constant recharge .
Not much use if you do long journeys .

I must say i am happy to choose this model, has all the features i was looking for. the quality of the picture is very good. the resolution does go to 1440 p unlike stated in the description. very easy to use in basic recording, my favourite option is motion detection, recorded some squirrels on my backyard. Some people mention the light and sound cannot be turned off but you have to use stealth mode and it mutes the camera. definetly recommend.

Put on a fanny pack slinged it over my shoulder and used the belt clip to attach the camera to the strap..
Went out for a ride in light rain and camera worked perfectly ..
Never fell off, video quality was great too..
Even with alot of wind i could hear my self talking perfectly.. the sound quality was really impressive ..
The screen on the back is nice to view the videos easily from the device and delete them etc…
Havent had the camera long enough to judge the battery life but so far im happy with the purchase .. worth every penny
I often at times do not get the opportunity to write reviews, especially this soon after I have made a purchase, but felt compelled to write a review about this great little device. When I researched tools to guard or to aid in protecting your safety, I came across this. I had already been aware of these devices being used by law enforcement, but was not aware that they were available for civilians as well.
I wanted to be for certain prior to buying one, so I searched through some of the reviews and found that they are not only for those individuals but anyone, and are being used for the same purpose I have in mind. Being a woman and concerned for my safety, especially during these times and with also having had many, many matters to occur in the past with traveling alone, exercising, going about running errands and minding my own business will serve as a great tool to aid in addition to other devices and/or tools I have such as mace, stun gun, etc., in keeping me safe and protected from uncomfortable/
threatening situations, trouble makers and dishonest people.
I know a lot of people have in mind, well why not just use your phone to record if you feel threatened or unsafe? Not often at times this is an option, especially if you do not have the time to find your phone or have it handy in a threatening or uncomfortable encounter. This recording device is made specifically to securely wear on your person without being easily removed and also creates less of a hassle if you have to be hands free to defend yourself or immediately leave an unsafe situation while keeping track of anything that is going on or has taken place. I tested it out and it works very well. It has a lot of great features.
Really impressed with this camera and automatic night vision. It does make a loud click internally when switching to night vision that you cannot hear while using it but it’s very loud during playback and reviewing footage. The microphone is really excellent quality that picks up surroundings well, voices and noises within the area (and even outside of the area). That does make the volume of the closest person very loud comparatively, but I don’t mind as it’s better to get more sound vs less. Overall I would recommend this body cam for various uses, whether you’d like it stationary or attached to your clothing.
It is smaller than some other brands, but the quality is high both during day and night vision. I had to order a separate clip for it as it comes with two (one short and one long with a hook) but they’ll only go vertically and I’d like to be able to clip or attach the clip sideways but have the camera still vertical. Very happy with this purchase.
i will make an update if i have any problems come up with the camera , but for now there is none. i recommend getting the camera it work for me and i am very pleased.
I contacted support with questions regarding the meaning and use of the specific menu items I was seeing. The reply was that these menu functions did not exist and I was to send pictures of the menu screens as I saw them. After sending the pictures, I was informed that a firmware update was needed. Support sent a copy of the .bin file for the update and I updated according to their instructions. (This exchange took 2 days.)
[NOTE: Since support is overseas, a “round trip” message takes about 24h. This gets extremely frustrating when the response from support is one suggestion or one question.]
After the firmware update, the camera would not power on at all. It appeared to be bricked. Support suggested trying to power on the camera with it plugged into power. I replied that I had done that already and it did not help. I still had a bricked cam. (Another 2 days worth of emails.)
Finally, this morning, support told me to ship the cam back to them (and pay for shipping) and they would send a replacement. No thanks, I’ll just return through Amazon and order a cam from another manufacturer.
How could the manufacturer not have any idea what menu items were being displayed on their cams? Knowing the extended turn around times for U.S. customers requesting support, how could they settle for one sentence responses that were, more often than not, questions, rather than provide a list of things to try to get their product working?
It’s sad because this was a fair priced camera with decent reviews. However, it appears that this may be old stock that no one currently working at Boblov is familiar with. I’ll be upgrading before even my first chance to take this camera into the field.
Poor camera, poorer support.
EDIT: After my initial review, customer support stepped up. Upon returning my cam through Amazon, they reached out to make things right. They sent me (expedited) a KJ09 body camera which is a VAST improvement over the KJ21. It’s sturdier, has a charging dock with extra battery, and most of all, it WORKS!
I’ve updated the stars on this review accordingly. The KJ21, at best, was two stars. The KJ09, standing alone, would be five stars. If you get bitten by a Boblov product, know that the company will do what they can to make it right. Therefore, based on support going above and beyond, I’ve upgraded this review.
Had it for dog walks but tried the motion detection and it appears to see air.
Wish it recorded longer than 30 mins at a time as I didn’t always remember to hit record once 30 mins was up

Only 1 thing which I dislike it doesn’t fit directly to your Hi-Vis dock which is originally made for body cameras, there is 1 clip which u can attach to hi-vis dock but he is to long and loss and other clip attached to clothes,doesn’t feel secured especially when you move a lot. I’m trying to find seperate clip/holder to could mount to my Hi-Vis. No comment about camera.

UPDATE: Camera USB socket was defective. No ability to charge camera. Replacement was sent immediately upon filing claim. Got it the next day. SO, if something goes wrong the remedy is prompt. to the buyer’s favor. Highly recommend this product.
This camera represents what is obviously R&D at its best. I bought the prior mode and used it for near a year. It crapped to bed at the USB input point. The USB on this model has been changed to a Micro (wider all around design of plug) from the thin Macro. The internal memory of the prior was is actually an SD micro card that plugs into an on PC board socket then held in place by a sticky tape strip. This updated camera features a SD micro card slot that is accessible just like most electronic devices. The battery is for more lasting. And the function buttons! Like the playback control buttons being located just below the video screen. The side function buttons are recessed and surrounded by molded in plastic in shape of the buttons. This protections from the buttons being pressed accidentally. This model is waterproof. I use it as a body came for my service dog. We are out in all types of weather conditions. In closing this review, I offer what could be the best endorsement. Spent a week in Lake Placid NY beginning day after thanksgiving. Snowed all Friday with temps dropping to 22 F. My dog and I ran through fresh fallen snow. The camera got covered and extreme exposure to moisture, cold and vibration. This camera made the cut and then some. I recommend this model of camera.
I am happy with the product, a minor detail: the area near the lens was slightly scratched when I received it. The cam version I received did not have the option to delete footage without connecting the cam to the computer. Other than that, it’s a good stuff.
I’ve had to use a body cam over the course of the past two years for capturing day to day activities. Prior to this, I went through about four other models that weren’t nearly as durable at this one. This body cam has been dropped more than a few times. I wouldn’t recommend doing this – but I can say this camera has held up each time – whereas previous cameras did not last. This body camera has a great night vision mode – time stamp. Battery life is excellent. I can usually get about 5 hours on a full charge.
I’m still getting used to this item but wanted to add some initial thoughts. Firstly, don’t forget to buy the SD card. I was VERY annoyed that I couldn’t use the bodycam until I had purchased one. I’ve used the basic functions on a few walks and am really pleased with the daylight picture quality, easy to view on the laptop. The battery does seem to drain quickly so I’m learning to check and charge before I leave the house. Had Boblov produced a purpose built harness I would have bought one in order to wear it under my jacket, making it more secure and less visible. I didn’t want to risk another brand (I’ve made a few such errors ordering on Amazon). I have luckily found the PERFECT solution: a suitcase strap, wrapped around my upper chest, works brilliantly. I’m looking forward to trying out more of the features on the bodycam.
I have not used this a lot, but picture quality seems good enough.
I was initially disappointed by the ridiculously loud on/off tones – no way to start recording without alerting sever postcodes and no obvious way to turn the chimes off.
There is a simple solution though – stick a blob of poster-putty over the speaker. Instant stealth mode. It probably makes playback on the device too quiet, but I use a laptop so that is not a problem for me.
This is excellent for capturing evidence and the quality is outstanding

The dash cam mode is great, I clamp the longer clip onto the sun visor. When you start the car, the camera starts recording automatically.
It is especially useful for recording projects, like car repairs, brake jobs, etc. You just talk as you do the work and it records everything for review. You can even watch the video/pictures immediately on the back screen.
Extremely handy device, much easier than trying to hold a cell phone. Wish this quality was available years ago.
Picture quality is excellent, audio is clear. Would like a better clip or body mount to secure to clothes. Very satisfied with camera.

– contrariamente a quanto scritto nel manuale non esiste una ‘modalit nascosta’ di funzionamento e quindi per non vedere i led verde e rosso, bisogna metterci sopra del nastro
– pur avendo impostato il volume al minimo, quando si accende e spegne il dispositivo, emette un suono abbastanza forte e fastidioso che non si pu eliminare

dopo aver contattato il venditore, ho rapidamente ricevuto un aggiornamento del software che ha permesso di attivare la modalit nascosta e quindi eliminare il suono di accensione/spegnimento.
Rimane quindi solo la pecca del manuale in italiano che, per, non cos necessario, dato la semplicit di utilizzo del dispositivo.

It is super easy to operate and buying the SD card gives you all the memory you need.
I’m not somebody who is good with technology so an easy to use device is perfect.
I also bought the magnet attachment to fix it to my clothing so that it can be worn with any item of clothing.
It’s light weight and compact.
It’s good quality and I have worn it in the rain and at night when going to my car for work.
A single charge lasts for ages and you get all the clips in the box to attach to your clothing.
I bought this because I have a Neanderthal living near me who actually puffs his chest out with pride whilst his knuckles scrape along the floor behind him because he is genuinely proud of hitting women.
He has repeatedly damaged my car, made threats to physically harm me and kill my dogs, but the police won’t do anything, the landlord won’t do anything, won’t evict him, the council won’t do anything.
So now every time I leave my flat I put my body cam on so that when this situation escalates further I can record him physically assaulting me.
Just so I can show it to the police and they can tell me that there’s nothing they can do.
Not much point having laws in this country as nobody is able to uphold and enforce them.
But if you need a camera to record anything then this is the one for you.

The Boblov body wear camera is used daily by my husband as a dog walker. The battery lasts all day and more. It’s an excellent camera that can be easily activated and provides peace of mind to dog owners.
The after service for this company is also excellent. They can be easily contacted and reply quickly to all questions. I can highly recommend buying this camera.

Battery light keeps flashing indicating needs charge irrespective of how long you charge it.
However Very reliable, night mode good, slight fish eye lens give good wide capture., Good design usefull clips, one for belt and top chest pocket, but screw on clip come loose so tighten them.
Overall good Body cam. Good battery life too
So this is a pretty good purchase. Still testing it out. It’s small and lightweight. I am using this as a dashcam. It has a lot of options available during use. A little tricky to learn them all. Comes with 2 different clip styles. Sometimes simple is better. I’ll update this review in about a month.

The video is excellent+ but the audio is worthless. I am contemplating returning this product because of the audio.
This product should be recalled until the audio is fixed. I can’t even understand the audio when I am speaking.
UPDATE: The audio still sucks. I really like the bigger clip. It’s probably more secure than the small one. I’ve also upgraded from 3 to 4 stars.

I use this camera for my job, at night, driving for 4ish hours. it works perfectly for this.

To charge, it uses mini USB, older interface, older cords, not available everywhere.
Night vision coming on makes a distinct click sound, which seems to be mechanical switching of lenses
Night vision cannot control rather the IR LED are lit or not (shortens battery length)
Limited mounts, comes with an epaulet/belt clip and a shorter clip on clip
No other mounts available for the unit that I have been able to find
Company in China, so, Support is delayed unless you are awake at night.
Like I said before, some are just personal preferences, BUT…
I highly recommend this unit if it fits your needs.
Past dash cam seller’s, I would have to and it back and purchase another one aka no customer service. Not BOBLOV16 at all.

Awesome news, it wasn’t the battery, it was me. Hubby is better with tech and I’m almost as good as him in welding.
Well, hubby changed some settings and saved me a trip to send this camera back. I left the above to show that as a smart @$$ woman, sometimes I make mistakes. My opinion of BOBLOV16 is still a 10.

I own a box of all dead dash cams.
I use one in the rear of my vehicle and one in the front. Imagine how much money I’ve saved and we were able to help someone that got into a hit and run situation. I can write a list of all the Pro’s, but someone has already done that.
Sorry no Con’s on these cameras to speak of. You can’t go wrong with a BOBLOV product. I’ve purchase so many dash cams and this one is by far the very best all the way around.

However, the downsides which prevent this from being perfect/5* for me are these: mostly the fact that the clip/s, even the large sturdy one, isn’t sufficient in length and heft to enable the cam to remain in the right position/angle, as the weight of the cam pulls the clip down and I’m left with footage facing towards the ground/floor, and not at the higher level I need it to catch (a solution is to clip it horizontally where it stays out much better, only issue is the footage is now in portrait and not landscape). Other lesser cons are the clip/s lack the ability to rotate, the product pic does indicate otherwise but such is not the case, at least with the clips packaged with my cam. Also, the date/time is so tiny as to be unreadable when viewing footage on the cam, so when there’s a part I want to review, I’m unable to just skip to the time it happened and instead have to FF until I see it. Lastly, while it’s good that the clip stays firmly and securely in place, it’s a nightmare to remove!
Despite these issues, overall this is a great cam and I don’t feel the need to look further for another one. Do wish tho that there was the option of ordering replacement clips, just in case it should get damaged or accidentally misplaced.
The video looks great, the battery lasts, and it feels really solid. It’s already been through a couple big drops, and it didn’t show any sign of trouble.
Overall, I would recommend this product!
I have to look at the camera again to get the proper name of the feature but turn on silent mode. There is a button to turn on night/light mode which, without turning on silent mode, will turn on an audible loud siren from the speaker. I can’t think of any use for the feature but it’s there.
For the price I cant see any way it would be a bad investment. If you don’t already have a body worn camera and you work in security/law enforcement and your respective employer/agency will allow it (and they don’t already issue one)… buy it. It’s worth every penny. Eliminates liability, covers your butt in court actions, is capable of showing the public or any jury why you acted the way you needed to.
This is a great Camera and a good value. I feel that my safety level has increased greatly by wearing it while I’m on duty. Only wish that the clip rotated.
