A good strong playmat with a nice design of a map with roads for you to run your vehicles along.
Has a nice additional feature in that it folds up into a storage box, however this is only held together with Velcro and so will only take “light” toys if you want it to stay closed. Part of the mat also folds up inside the box and so there isn’t much room.
I wouldn’t buy this just for the storage aspect but it is a good town layout with nice pictures and is currently priced at 12.99 which I think is very reasonable.
Excellent quality car play-mat that can be used as a toy box too. It’s made from durable waterproof Oxford fabric (so it’s wipeable/easy to keep clean) and the cardboard inserts make it strong and sturdy too. I keep some cars in this so my nephews and nieces can empty it out and open up the play mat when they visit. It’s handy for the younger babies for floor play too. I did struggle working out how to put the toy box together without instructions – I had to look at the pictures on here, but I’m useless with pop up toys too! Brilliant idea purchase this for my little boy to keep his toys in one place particularly his cars.
Bice and easy he’s 4 years old and he manages to build and dismantle this with complete and utter ease.
Stores a significant amount of Toys also so great idea brilliant concept and very well made.
Given the texture of it I would also find it fair to say this is is wipeable
This is a great little playmat, and we love that it can also transform into a toy car storage box!
We’ve had a few different playmats in the past, and this is the first design that has really appealed to my son, as instead of the usual gentle fields and rivers and bunnies and farms, there is a bright, bold fire station (with fire!), police station, construction site etc – all done in dramatic, toy car tv advert style!
And it’s great that once he is done playing on the mat, we can simply fold the sides into a box and leave his toys in there for next time round. This design means the playmat is rather firmer than usual, as it has cardboard inside, but the surface is still soft enough for him to play on and it seems to be wipe-clean (so far!). The box isn’t the sturdiest really, and starts to pop open with too many toys in, but then you can’t have everything!
And at approx. 13 at the time of writing this review, I really think this is a great bargain for any child who loves car (or dinosaurs rampaging through the city)-related imaginative play!
Surprisingly a very good quality box/play mat. My son is one and loves tidying up his toys into this box.
We use it to store cars in which means that when he opens it up he can play with the cars on it and then close the box back up to tidy them away. It’s a genius idea and helps teach children to tidy up after themselves. Not only that, the fabric the item is made from is easy to wipe down and the lid has a very cool little car park on the inside. The other thing I love about this box is the fact that if my son tries to stand on it to climb into the window it collapses. So it keeps him safe at the same time. The only thing I would know is that the images make it look much bigger than it really is however for my one year-old this is the perfect size

For the price of this rug you’re getting something really nice But slightly awkward. The trees are pink, which Really in the end it doesn’t mean anything. The center of the town is the ice cream shop, which every city should have the center revolving around ice cream, otherwise we are really soft nicely built rug. I’ve already stuck it through the washing machine once because we have a dog and a cat, and therefore dog hair and cat hair is everywhere. It came through the washer really nicely with none of the ends fraying which is happened on other cheap rugs before. I’m really impressed with the quality of this rug.
Not the greatest box or the greatest play mat but at 14.99, it’s a fair attempt.
Materials are good. Box is not that big to take large items. Mat is not that detailed for a road layout.
For the early years child who is beginning to play with toys, the touch and colours will go down well. For the infant into more detailed (e.g. die-cast) this will not suffice, in my opinion.
Thanks to the clever design, this cute waterproof play mat also doubles up as a toy box, so your little ones can happily sit and play with their toys on the mat and then help to tidy away afterwards! I particularly like the design of the mat featuring roads and different emergency services – perfect for rolling toy fire engines/police cars along. The fact that the product is waterproof too is always an advantage, as you never know when drinks are going to get spilled for example. Good product to help organise your playroom.
This is a great play mat. Good size play area that wipes clean easy. The quality is really good. Folds into the cube easily, the Velcro secures well and the lid is a perfect fit. Has alot of storage space inside when folded into a box. Perfect for my grandson and granddaughters play cars and the mat is fun for them to use to play.
This is fab little boy loves his little mat for all his cars and perfect to put all his cars in after as it turns into a very handy storage box. Very happy with product would recommend. Well made. Thick play mat.
