Very happy with my unit except it sometimes drops out on start up of 800 watt microwave, no other draw on. Don’t know why? I also received spare fuses with my 3500, but no information on how to check these or change them. Can you offer help on this please? Thank you.
Easy to fit, comes with cables to the battery (could do with being a bit longer) remote battery level indicator is good & having a 240v separate hook up is handy, used for 2 weeks upto now, been grea
I use it for running TV, fridge/freezer, 6 lights, laptop, 3 mobil phones. Connected to 4X120AMP BATTERIES, 1,500watt SOLAR PANELS IN SERIES. Had it over a year now only had to replace one fuse. My set up runs all for 7hrs before drawing down BATTERIES. As I have it installed in Gambia with year round sunlight it’s perfect! But I’ll also add it was previously set up in caravan used in the Highlands Scotland where its raining and overcast most of the time and it still preformed! outstanding good solid investment highly recommended
I have the 3.5 KW fitted in my van with a 200W Renogy solar panel on Roof and a 200 AH Renogy lifepo4 Battery I intend to add a couple more 100 AH Lithium LifePo4 batteries in Parallel and extra 200W of solar roof panels to give me more. I already have enough power at home to lawn mower the grass cut the Hedges electric chainsaw the trees electric polish the car vacuum the cars drill and fix stuff but you never can have to much Power unless you are Putin. Eventually want the house to be all solar powered.
This 3500w inverter is excellent for providing around 1/3 of my solar electricity when the sun shines. My ongoing project is to build up a decent battery bank to store excess energy for use at times the sun isn’t shining. Recommended.
Had this unit for a few weeks now and have been working it hard as an offgrid mains supply system for a lodge. It handles appliance start up surges well and maintains its performance across the range of battery voltages from the LiFePo4 battery rack.
The unit is mounted in an out building for it and the batteries. One thing to bear in mind is that during high load the cooling fans kick in and you might find that annoying if it is sited close to where you are using the power, ie. campervan/caravan.
Exterior quality looks good and the cables supplied are up to the job.
One feature missing which would be really useful, is to be able to select an output voltage setting of 220/230/240V. It is fixed at 240V which is bang at the end of the input range of some equipment. Running at 230V would be better, but definitely not a show stopper.
Cracking Bit Of Kit! Silent with no Buzzing, coupled up a Solar Charging system with it and a 240v switching station for added safety when using Hook Ups.
It’s early days yet but all seems good, and it works just as it should. I can’t really see the need for the remote control though – maybe I’ll find a need for it in due course.
The handbook is too small, you almost need a magnifying glass to read it. It fails to mention the fact that the very first time you connect the inverter to the battery there will be quite a spark, but this is normal – it’s just capacitors charging, and won’t happen again.
Great product. Highly recommended.
Working great. Powerful. Able running washing machine 1 cycle, dryer 1 cycle, compressor, all garage equipment in one day playing. very happy. Make sure you have good quality deep drainage battery min 2x 12V 110ah
