FirstBIKE Cross with Brake (Red)
THE FirstBIKE Story â One Man, One Mission; Two Wheels
Ralf Coerschulte, an avid German cyclist, product designer, and father, developed FirstBIKE with one goal: to build the best balance bike for younger children, allowing them to learn to ride a bike intuitively and without stress.
After years of fine-tuning and testing, he succeeded in creating an unparalleled product that is deemed to be the safest on the market in terms of features supporting a childâs physical development.

Start âem YoungChildren as young as 22-months-old can learn to balance on their own! At the age of 4 or 5, when they get taller and stronger, they can smoothly transfer to a pedal bike without ever needing training wheels. | They Build ConfidenceUnlike training wheels, FirstBIKE balance bikes teach skills like balancing, steering, braking, using caution, as well as basic traffic rules â basically everything you need to know to ride a traditional pedal bike. Plus, as kids gain confidence they become more enthusiastic about biking. | Theyâre LightweightFirstBIKE balance bikes are two to three times lighter than pedal bikes with training wheels, which sometimes weigh as much as the child. Thus, toddlers can ride several miles without getting tired and run up hills without having to heave around a heavy bike. | Less Risk of InjuryBecause there are no pedals, preschoolers benefit from the security of having their own feet on the ground. When the bike starts to tip over, kids instinctively plant their feet to slow down and stabilize, reducing the risk of tipping over. |

Bellissima bici , indistruttibile…mio figlio ne innamorata consigliata fino ai 5 anni di e
I was sent this in return for my honest review.
When I have looked at balance bikes in the past, I found some of them to be quite cumbersome and heavy, especially the wooden ones. The FirstBIKE is very light weighing just 3.9kg so is easily manageable for my 2 year old daughter. Also, unlike some of the wooden bikes I had looked at, the bike is completely weatherproof, great for the unpredictable British weather!
When the FirstBIKE arrived my husband set about setting it up. The bike does not need too much putting together. The handlebars need attaching to the frame and the wheels putting on. My husband was able to put the bike together very quickly and the seat was easy to adjust and, even better, no tools are required to do so.
My daughter was extremely excited when she saw her new bike and, whilst we were waiting for some nice weather, she would ride it up and down the front room! It was actually quite good that she had a practice inside first as she did find it a little tricky to get the hang of to start with and had a few topples.
Once she had got used to the weight of the bike and worked out how to ride it properly, we headed outside into the garden. My daughter has been able to ride the bike really well around our bumpy, grassy back garden, however, it does work just as well on concrete too. She has managed to find her balance very quickly and can now ride the bike very competently without falling over.
It will be really interesting to see if my daughter takes to riding a ‘proper’ bike faster than our son did when the time comes, however, for now she is more than happy riding her FirstBIKE around the garden like her big brother!
Although they are a little more expensive than other balance bikes I have looked at the quality is well worth the extra money and I know that my daughter will get so much play and fun out of the bike. We would definitely recommend the FirstBIKE to anyone looking for a balance bike for their child.
best of the lot this one, no doubts. gorgeously put together, real quality. my son is 2 years 5 months, not too tall, bought the simple but brilliant lowering kit to bring the seat height down and it still looks incredible. i love it and my boy was hooked instantly, years of enjoying it ahead, did loads of happy research, nearly went for the early rider but fell in love with this one. Great design. Even the big grey front has grown on me. A Dad. xx
his is is expensive but a great little bike,my son whizzes around on it,due to the bearings the wheels roll really freely with not much effort, and you can get quite a speed up,its light weight and easy to carry.so ticks all the boxes.
