Local cats near me don’t seem to poop discretely. They drop it in the middle of my lawn or on gravel at the front of the house. So I purchased a couple of these to deter them. Easy to assemble and install. Clicking noise and flashing lights seem to have kept cats away so far. They is a high pitch noise as well. I can’t really hear it. My kids can and I’m sure the cats can. My previous ones were not solar powered nor did they have the flashing lights and weren’t as effective. These seem good so far.
This is great product , easy to install and its working as well. No need to charge as its solar powered.
Has only been in situ for a few weeks, all you need to do is put it in place, no fiddly batteries. We have not seen any of the local cats near the pond so I will get more to stop cats using our flower beds, they make gardening so unpleasant.
My garden has become the local cat toilet for the past 8 months, saw this product and decided to give it a go. The first night I used it the messing on my grass and garden stopped and to this day, some 5 weeks later it is still cat mess free.
Only issue I have with it is the motion sensor is very sensitive and cannot be adjusted which in turn runs the battery down in the day, but I switch it off for a couple of hours to let it recharge and away it goes again.

I ordered this item to keep my garden tidy by stopping birds and cats away from pooping. The sound and light effect scared cats and birds. totally satisfied with the purchase. Worth it instead of hand picking the poop every weekend.
Definitely recommend- not only keeping cats off my garden but next doors too! It was becoming almost a daily occurrence of them using a garden as a toilet & since I installed this 4 wks ago not once!

This actually worked for us! Can’t believe it. I was very sceptical to be honest. We had foxes and cats treating our garden like their second home, but since installing, they’ve stayed away. I even witnessed one cat come into our garden and quickly run a way whilst looking back at the device – it clearly scared it off! Hope it works for you as well as it did for us!

Just take it out the box put the spike in and dig into the ground. Mine faces the veg patch that cats used to use for the their toilet. Not now

Since installing (sticking in the ground) this cat repellent I’ve not seen a single cat in my garden, or any sign of a cat.
This really works. Able to walk on lawn with no problems. The flashing light is a bit irritating, would be better without it, but still worth having.
Cats using my garden as a toilet has now ceased but it is a shame it does not have a sensitivity button to allow birds to visit. That said, it is a good piece of kit.
Great motion detection, stops all cats from stopping in your garden. I have four of them around my gardens. Excellent product, have recommended them to several friends.
To stop cats in my garden. It was easy to install,motion detection works,but it as not rained yet so can’t say waterproof yet.
These have worked brilliantly!! The only problem is the noise does hurt the children’s ears & mine when I am gardening. I turn them off while we are in the garden and turn them back on later.
But it’s worth doing this for a cat pop free garden & lawn!
Bought 3 of these and since we’ve had them in the garden we haven’t had any cat mess in either garden.
Cover a good range though the sound can get a little annoying if you’re sat in the garden so I turn them off then pop them back in later with the handy switch.
One of the 3 does appear to have water ingress in after heavy rain but is still working.
I got this because the neighbours cat used to turn up regular as clockwork each day and poop on my lawn. Despite me opening and window and yelling at it, it kept on. Not any more. I can hear the ultrasonic scream these things make, seems like very few others can hear more than a slight clicking noise. The cat is no where to be seen and my lawn is poop free.

Bought 2 of these for front and back garden as cats were making a mess. The difference is significant as I haven’t seen any cat litter around. It picks up motion even from behind and at a distance. Only thing is one of them flashes but doesn’t make the beeping sound which I’m already in contact with the seller.
Cats bin terrorising me for over a year now pooping in the garden this is a game changer ! Buy buy buy no signs of cats now 🙂 happy days.
I don’t have cats, so my garden seems to be a fouling ground for every one else’s. This has been the cheapest I have bought and it works from day one. I turn it off when in the garden as it’s very annoying. But if I forget to turn it on again then the cats start fouling again. Will get more as the cats seem to have found out if they now more to the other end of the garden then they are not detected. It worked all though the wet summer too.

You have to be careful how you position it though to get the full use
The persistent cat backed away the first time it came across it and incidents are down 95% (will explain the 5% in a second). So overall, I’m happy with the results but there are 2 negatives.
1. I can hear the beep – I’m in my early 30’s and myself and my partner hear the noise. Our parents can’t hear it and the noise isn’t crazy loud so we can generally deal with it but it does get annoying after a while.
2. Sometimes it will just not shut up. Today it’s fine, but a few days ago it was just going off constantly. If you’re older this wouldn’t be an issue but if you can hear the beep it is not good at all. Because of this I suspect the battery runs out in the night leading to the cat returning. I can’t stop it by cleaning it or repositioning it, sometimes it just has to make noise.
So overall, it works, it works well. But younger people should expect to hear something and you might get bad days where it won’t shut up.
Whoever invented this device all I can say is you are a life saver and thank you very much.

We are really impressed with this item! We’ve had other peoples cats using the front of our house as a toilet for so long and since we’ve had this there’s not been one poo!! Would definitely recommend!!

This product cannot come more recommended it’s brilliant. No cats on front garden since Iv started using it and Iv tried everything. I’m the only one in family that can hear it ( not a nice experience ) but well worth me not picking up cat poo daily. ! Tip – does have to be in direct sunlight to work my front garden only gets morning sunlight but enough for it to work constantly
Since starting to use this repeller I’ve not seen any cats in my garden. The only downside is the motion detection is very sensitive and is triggered by the wind blowing the plants in the garden
The light is very bright especially at night and quite a few people have mentioned that they can hear the noise. I think you need to think carefully where you position this device to get max impact but to avoid it triggering unnecessarily.
Very intriguing bit of kit and it seems to work. It’s switchable so can be turned off and is solar powered.
This product is so good. We have purchased another because having a very large “; wrap around” garden and don’t think the signal can go around corners, bought a 3rd to finish garden protection. Even recommended to neighbour who is also going to buy some. We were inundated with cats leaving their smelly little parcels on lawn, in rose beds in heathers , now NOTHING. So easy o put together, no fiddly instructions to follow and it starts working as soon as it is set up . Wonderful.
Bought this new cat scarer as the neighbours cat kept crapping in my garden well it was definitely a good idea not seen the cat since I put it in the garden just make sure it is in the direct sunligh

Day one and the ultrasonic repeller has worked a treat.
Watched a cat walk onto the grass as if it was about to do its daily business then the repeller done it’s stuff and the cat walked away.
Fingers crossed that it’s done the trick.
I was sick of cats pooing in my garden, tried all sorts, this is the only thing that truly worked.
However, the pitch is so intense my neighbour said her kids were effected by it and couldn’t walk past my house any more!

I found the detector a little over sensitive, i.e. fitted to a front lawn so passing traffic would set it of.
Both my wife and kids could hear it ( i had to literally stick my ear next to it to hear the sound, must be an age thing)
I think you just need to consider its location in your garden. Not facing the house as it may annoy the occupants, or facing a road /path as passing people / cars can set it of.
I turned it of during the day and only have it on at night and so far no cat poop.. It seems to work and is harmless to all so yes i would recommend this product.

This was recommended by a friend who’d found it very successful so we bought two. It was really easy to put together & set up. It’s already scaring the dreaded cats away, wish we’d known about this sooner!! Really pleased with the purchase.
Defective after 3 months of buying it. Opened it up to check battery and found a detached wire which enables the sun to activate the solar panel. Now trying to get a replacement. I could fix it if I had a solder iron but I paid enough for this item. So I want a replacement or money back!
Had this for a few days now installed in my planter. A local fox has decided to burrow in my planterhave used repellent and other motion activated devices. But nothing works.
Currently using this and spikes buried in the soil and so far no fox hole for 4 days now.

I bought this product following a persistent issue with a cat using my front garden as it’s personal litter tray / digging up plants, having tried a number of softer approaches – and wow, I wish I’d gone straight to this option.
The device produces a high quality, high frequency noise, which, combined with the bright strobe light flash, has completely deterred the cat. No sign of it being back for a few days.

We have gravel in the front garden that the local cats just love and they seem to enjoy the back garden while they’re around.
Got some from another company and they worked until batteries ran out and then after changing them the seals never quite worked as well eventually dying from water ingress.

I bought this to replace a previous repeller that failed to work, cats seem to like prowling through our garden at night and the CCTV picked up 5 or 6 roaming per night.
Positioned this so cats cross across its path, took a little while but the cats seem to prefer a more peace full route now. Job done.

I was a bit sceptical about these kind of repellents but it seems to have done the trick with our “visitor”. As other reviews have pointed out, it can be a bit sensitive but at least that shows it is picking up movement. I think the light flashing has been the best deterrent for our case. Not found anymore “evidence” of the neighbours cat since we installed this. Happy with the purchase.
Easy to set up, works brilliantly no cats or foxes since installing it. Works in all kinds of weather even on the dullest days of winter. Very good value for money just as good as my neighbours more expensive one.
Bought this product to try and deter the nasty little beast that kept pooping in our lawn. Have to say, it not only repelled the cat, it also repelled the neighbours! Had a bit of a complaint about their son being able to hear it, (we couldn’t) and this was verified by our youngest daughter. The cat scarer was ace… Until someone nicked it 🙁
It is detecting the cat from a wide range and hence cat is unable to approach from any direction. I feel the product is highly valuable/usable for the money spent and moreover, it’s a very good thing that it’s working on solar energy without any batteries required.
Unfortunately water has got in the pir so it’s now useless.
A shame as it worked well before the water ingress.

Previously all 3 of next doors cats liked to pop in my garden daily to do their business.

As this is solar powered, hopefully it’ll work for a good few years.
My only criticism is it seems to go off all the time even though there is nothing in front of it.
Also, younger people can hear this and have said the noise is painful to them.
I’m nearly 50 and can only hear it clicking so it doesn’t bother me.
I can’t comment on its long term use as I’ve only just got it, but fingers crossed it lasts.

Since losing my dog in December…I have had a problem with cats doing there business in my flower beds…and with having a young son that plays in the garden…I’ve had to clean many piles daily and it’s been getting very frustrating.
This device was easy to set up…and after the first night of it being placed in my flower beds…I woke up to untouched clean flower beds…

It appears to be keeping the neighbours cats out of our border to good effect. Motion detection is brill soon picks you up and has a great range, plus a flashing light. No problems with it being outside in all weathers.

Was a little sceptical about buying one of these, but glad I did. After years of our garden being used as a cat lavatory I can say that 6 weeks after positioning this deterrent there’s been no activity, the grass remains clear. Hope it’s durable because it seems to be working. Recommended…so far!
