Two-part brass screw-type hose connection
The two-part brass screw-type hose connection from GARDENA allows hoses with a diameter of 32 mm (1 ¼â€) to be conveniently connected to the tap. The brass finish makes the screw-type hose connection robust and stable. It is flat-sealing and contains a grommet and union nut. Note: The screw-type hose connection is not suitable for pumps.

The screw-type hose connection with its grommet also allows a connection to a water hose of
up to 19 mm (3/4â€). The water flow quantity can be regulated via the top handle piece.

If you use it (like I do) for the first time – be aware that in the middle it has a nut which regulates hot far above/below Geka side a rubber gasket protrudes. So if at first gasket makes connection too loose or too tight – it’s not a fault of the item – do regulate the nut. Namely, you have to lower the gasket first, then attach a coupling to counterpart Geka connection (usually without any efforts), and next tighten the nut (which will rise the gasket) making Geka connection super tight. This is an excellent product. I was thinking at first that mine is faulty before I realised it has the nut and how the nut works. After that it’s perfect.
Zu den Problemen die von anderen Nutzern geschildert werden. Ja die Schlauchseite hat Innen 32mm wie der Schlauch auch. Das bedeutet das man den Schlauch nicht einfach so mal eben drauf schieben kann. Was aber ganz normal ist, und immer so ist.
Als Tipp einfach die Verschraubung senkrecht in einen Schraubstock einspannen oder von jemand 2 festhalten lassen. Dann den Schlauch in kochenden Wasser oder mit Heiluftfhn erwrmen und wenn der Schlauch weich ist darberschrieben. Schlauchschelle nicht vergessen. Wenn der Schlauch kalt ist geht er nicht mehr ab.
