For context, I have a much more expensive SUP (stand-up paddleboard) with fibreglass paddle and often paddle for several kilometres at a time at sea around the Welsh coast.

This board is ideal for those new to SUP. It’s pretty stable and built as well as similar boards you get in supermarkets using decent materials. You have to spend quite a bit more to get a better kit.

The paddle provided with this kit is OK but not ideal if you want to paddle all day as it’s heavy and inefficient for extended use.

The pump provided is reasonable. You need to be fairly fit to get it to 15PSI pressure which is necessary to get the required rigidity and stability.

The storage bag is fine, not quite as protective as the one I use with my more expensive board, but good enough.

This “kit” from HEYBOARD is a great way into paddleboarding if you’re thinking of dipping your toe into the water!
Don’t be put off by the fact that this is inflatable – once “blown up” it is a sturdy board – but in my case, it will remain inflated and I will just top it up; I won’t be letting the air out for storage – far too much of a faff.
I would advise booking a lesson first before indulging in a purchase just to ensure it’s something that you want to get into – it may look simple but you have to consider where your centre of gravity is; my best advice try this out on a river or a lake to begin with.
Don’t forget you will also need a wetsuit, life jacket and wet shoes (kerching ) – fortunately, we have these already as we have a canoe. We also have a VW T6, hence is no need to collapse the paddle board.

    An inexpensive gateway into paddleboarding!

I couldn’t be more impressed with this stand-up paddle board kit from Heyboard! Pick yourself up a floatation vest and you have literally everything you need to get out on the water.

Worth noticing that the manufacturer has listed their removable fin alongside this set, seems a lot of the more critical reviews are for the fin rather than the paddleboard set, so when looking at reviews, worth double-checking which product they’re for.

The board itself is lovely quality, just looks classy and cool in the black and white colour scheme and all the components feel well made and built to last. When fully inflated to around 10psi the board is 6 inches thick, has two small permanent stability fins either side of the removable center gin, a super-grippy textured foam deck covering, some bungee tie-down straps and a number of D-rings for accessories such as a seat. Despite its huge size it’s very light to carry and has a very handy foam handle in the middle of the board that makes it a breeze to move around.

Included alongside the awesome paddleboard and removable centre fin is a really nicely made hold-all bag with shoulder straps for storing or transporting the board and accessories; a very effective hand pump with built-in pressure gauge that pumps the board up very quickly; a three-piece adjustable paddle with metal handle; a puncture repair kit; waterproof mobile phone pouch with neck strap; and finally a foam ankle leash to prevent the board getting away from you should you fall off.

Everything is top-quality and just a phenomenal introduction to the world of stand-up paddleboarding. Feels like amazing value for money at 249.99 at time of review.

A sturdy fin made of solid plastic and with a standard connection that will easily fit most paddle boards.

However the listing was initially described as a board with accessories, this has since been changed, but the price is still 39.99, comparatively high to other such items available.

This inflatable paddle board by HEYBOARD is a fantastic purchase and here’s why.

Quality first. This brand certainly care a lot for their customers and this is apparent by not just the careful packaging of the product, but also all the extra accessories that are included. This includes the paddle sticks (more on this later), a hand pump and even a waterproof casing for your mobile phone.

The paddle board arrives rolled up and wrapped for extra protection. It is very big, and could easily fit 2 people on board. I found that pumping this up by hand was quite strenuous (took about 5-10 minutes) but was still manageable. Though if you have some extra cash around, I’d recommend getting an electric SUP paddle board pump. This saves not just so much time, but also energy for both the inflating and deflating process.

With that being said, the material is thick and the stitching is well done. I don’t see this ripping apart any time soon. Easily a dozen of years of use before I’d consider buying a new one. Hence, I wouldn’t cheap out on this paddle board, but rather would consider buying this one by HEYBOARD.

The paddle stick come compactly packed. You just need to spend a few moments assembling them to be used. They are exceptional quality, high quality plastic and not flimsy like other brands I have tried in the past. The last thing you want is to be fighting the waves so thankfully these paddle sticks will help you glide through the waters effortlessly.

With that being said, this paddle board set is worth every penny and an excellent investment for those that either want to get into the sport, or want to finally experience the real deal! 5 stars! Highly recommended!

Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! 🙂

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLet me just say that having had several paddle boards of this type (inflatable) this turned out to be the easiest to pump up of the lot. The makers of this board have added a very good pump in with the rest of the kit. Now to give a good review of a paddle board I will have to remove all the contents of the box, inspect every item that is laid out, blow up the paddle board, deflate the board, then place them all in the backpack that comes with the board. This board is quite a wide board and hence the longer length of the box once the board is rolled up. The board differs from other boards I have had package wise in that the two fixed fins underneath the board have large rubber protectors that slip on and off. I’ll be keeping these protectors as they will come in very handy indeed. The rolled up board is kept together with a wide clip belt which is adjustable and also very handy. This board comes in black and white with a thick grey what looks and feels like a rubber friction plate with lots of grooves. This friction plate covering covers the central areas of the board, a good percentage of the board in fact. One thing that does stand out is the wonderful wide thick black rubber protective layer that you see on larger sea vessels and it runs the entire circumference of the board so that any bashing into rocks side on will be absorbed by this wide strip. There are several anchor points for attaching maybe a light portable seat towards the rear of the board, and several anchor points situated towards the front of the board with an interweaved bungee cord for stuffing a bag or clothing underneath. You will find two fixed fins underneath and integral to the board with a slot for a larger central fin to be attached. Of course the makers have provided the large central fin which is slid into the slot and then locked into place with an attached (by string) small rectangular plastic baton. At the front of the board is another anchor point, this could be for a tow rope, and there is also the valve and cap. Now a comment about the anchor points. I have seen better and stronger stainless steel rings but these will do quite nicely, but all the anchor points are reinforced with circular rubber patches. Now as for the valve I was surprised at how small the valve is compared to other paddling board valves I have come across. But what a surprise this valve is because it’s the easiest and smoothest valve I have come across to attach the pump tube, to actually pump with, and the cap is the easiest I have come across to close. Finally it is the easiest valve to push in and deflate the board. It’s a small cap obviously because the hole is smaller, but it seals tight with no effort at all. OK that’s the board for now. The board is accompanied by the central fin, a fantastic manual pump, a large instruction booklet that isn’t totally necessary but is nice to have, a transparent mobile dry bag with a cord, an oar that comes in three pieces, a flexible cable with ankle cuff, and a plastic orange container containing a repair kit which consists of a valve remover, and two small pieces of what the board is made of, one piece in black and one in white. I note that there is no glue provided, none of the boards come with glue as this glue could dry up in storage. Better to get the customer to buy fresh glue when it is needed, otherwise a repair job would end up being totally useless with months or even years old glue. Finally you get a large sturdy zipped bag with wide straps that forms a backpack. It’s a good pack but does it easily contain all the parts of this paddle board kit? We’ll find out later. Now to the pump, what a great pump with a very long stroke. The air sucks in when pulling on the up stroke and pumps into the board on the long down stroke. I do find that the plastic feet on all these pumps are too close together but fine if you just use one plastic foot to stand on and have your other foot further back so that this position allows the pump to be used more effectively. Then when you get tired in that position using one foot, alternate your position so that you are using the other foot with renewed strength. The pump has a small colourful gauge which registers way over the maximum pressure that you actually need. In this particular case the board can be pumped up to between 0.7 BAR and 1.0 BAR; this is handily shown on the board in large black writing. Right lets get to the actual pumping. For me I found it to be a light workout, previous boards have been a real slog. Even at the higher pressures on this board it was not a slog to keep pumping. It took approximately 320 down strokes to obtain the minimum pressure of 0.7 BAR. The first 200 down strokes were easily done as the pressure gauge read as negligible throughout until air had filled most of the board. Once the board started to take shape the pressure obviously increased and at around 0.5 BAR or 230 down strokes it started to get slightly more laboured pumping but nothing to write home about. I certainly didn’t break out into a sweat like when pumping previous boards. I can honestly say that this was a doddle. So a great pump. The oar is a cinch to put together, and you can adjust the length to suit your height using the middle part of the oar with the clever mechanism to tighten the handle part to it. Also there are markings on the handle part so that you can go straight to your optimum measurement length once you have worked that out, or if you already know it. So the board is pumped up, and at 0.7 BAR with 0.3 BAR to go if you so wish, it is already a solid board. Now that all the pieces have been put together, and photographs taken, I will now fold this board up after removing the central fin, and see if all the parts can be put in the backpack. I push the valve down so effortlessly compared to other valves, and turn it so it stays in the down position and whoosh the air comes out. Leave it for a few minutes and about ninety percent of the air comes out without any further encouragement. I found this out accidentally having had to leave the board for a few minutes. I normally start pressing down on the board straightaway. When it did come time to rolling the board up I just started to roll from the back to front and the remaining air just came out with very little effort. It’s a very good board and although in just black and white and not as colourful as some boards I have seen, it’s a smart looking board with great detail to functional parts. I’m sure that the white areas will get quite dirty in time but like all things, they need to be used and enjoyed. It’s a strong solid sturdy looking board when fully blown up. What an easy blowing up experience! Five stars for a great board. I can’t wait to get on the water.

I was surprised how firm this inflatable paddle board was when inflated. It only took a few minutes to inflate with the included pump and this was effortless. The board is solid and while I’ve yet to take it on the water I have no doubts it will perform well. The board was hard enough well under the recommended pressure. It has the pre-attached rings to add a seat if preferred, a shame this wasn’t included in the set. The paddle is easy to adjust the size and clamps tight, I’m assuming it won’t float so don’t want to be dropping it! Deflating the board was even quicker, just press the valve down and roll up from the opposite end. Everything easily fits in the included backpack with space so can be packed away quickly without struggling to squeeze it in. It’s clearly going to be some weight carrying but the wide shoulder straps make it as comfortable as possible. No quality issues and while expensive it will save money in hiring a board and is much easier to store than a non inflatable board.

Good quality and easy to inflate and pack up after use.

This fin is compatible with both my Aquaplanet paddle boards. Although it is easy to fit in the groove, it is a bit stiff to remove. I had to use a towel to get a better grip.
I looks and feel just like the original fin and I can’t tell any differences between the two.
I recommend having a spare SUP fin as they can break.

This is a good quality fin to carry as a spare for your SUP. It comes with a pin to secure it in place and will fit most standard SUP fittings.

Heyboard’s inflatable paddleboard fin is made of first-class raw materials to let people have an amazing surfing experience.

The fin is designed to ensure optimal compatibility with all sorts of board sizes. It has a quick-release detachable system where it will slide in and secure within just a second. Its material is tested to make sure its durable. It also has increased stability where it has improved the manoeuvrability to make it easier for you to advance, retreat and rotate in a straight line.

This paddleboard fin is black and upon first impression, it has a well-made build. It has a flat square base and a built-in retaining clip on the fin. The fin itself is sharp which is enough to cut in the water. I also like that it is well moulded making it smooth and looking good. My only concern with this fin is that it is a bit pricey for its quality since it is made of plastic.

All in all, I am very excited to try this fin in the summer season. I just hope the brand lowers the price to make it even more worth buying.

The “Removable Universal SUP Fin” is a good quality sturdy fin that can be easily slid on and attached to most surfboards and paddle boards.

The slide in and lock mechanism is tough and durable, with little chance of the fin becoming accidentally dislodged upon having it installed. Furthermore, it’s extremely easy to slide off and out when you’re done, for easy transport and storage.

The fin is manufactured from a strong and sturdy hard-plastic that does flex enough to ensure it won’t break, but provides an excellent glide. Size wise, the fin provides a deep underwater cut that works excellent on paddleboards.

All in all, I’m very impressed with the fin. Just what I was after for our paddleboard.

The Keyboard inflatable paddle board fin is a black glass reinforced plastic fin. The moulding looks good; the base is reasonably square and flat on the base. The retaining clip is built into the fin; though I may replace the plastic cord with a thicker one. If you need a replacement fin its rigid; sharp to cut the water and thanks to the good moulding nice and smooth.

I have been impressed with this paddleboard fin – its solid, easy to install on the board and adds a good degree of stability and control when used. Recommended!
