This is a cool product that allows you to customize your PS5. Doesn’t come with installation instructions so YouTube videos are your friend to install this. This is an expensive product. Very cool product though and definitely worth it if you are a gamer.
ot very impressed with this case/skin as the build quality is quite flimsy and feels very cheap. fits quickly and easily and looks nice it just doesnt feel well made for the price.
Packaged and presented perfectly with two well made sturdy face plates and i was pretty impressed how easy these were to fit. Also if your unsure, then there is a video or loads of various how to on youtube aswell for step by step guide for convenience.
The design is unique and you can instantly tell these are much more stylish, especially then the existing plain original.

Tricky to remove and install but the video is handy to watch. Makes the PS5 look really good and with the red controller and headset all on the stand aswell it looks great. Also have black plates for other PS5s and they look great too. Price is a bit expensive as it is just face plates but the quality ofnthese is food. They aren’t flimsy and feel strong like the original plates.

The cover is reasonably easy to install and it fits securely. It looks smart and sleek and it provides some extra protection.
This PlayStation 5 faceplate was rather difficult to instal. After a good wack and a good struggle my son managed to get it to fit. The faceplate is suitable only for the disk edition of the PlayStation 5. It will not fit the digital edition.
The faceplate is shock proof, anti finger, dust proof and scratch proof. It is made of durable ABS plastic.
The surface of the faceplate can protect the PlayStation 5 console from scratches, prevents dust from adhering, and is easy to clean.
This is a decent quality product, but it is more expensive by around 6/7 compared to others that look the same.

Ordered these to change the colour & look of my playstation 5.
Upon my playstation arriving i was a-bit put off buy the fact it came in the plain off white/cream colour way. It did not go with or look good next to my tv/gaming set up mostly being all black and stealth.
These new face plates change all of that! My playstation 5 is now slick (all black) and stealthy! Fits and looks a whole lot better in my set up!

Good quality PS5 (disc version) face plates.
Very much a transformer robot type pattern design to the covers (well in my opinion anyway) sturdy plastic and do a grand job, however do not honestly see the point in the white ones (which were issued for review) the PS5 comes with white plates anyway.
The black and the red are far better imo but a great price if you fancy changing the look of your console without scrimping on quality
I got the white version of these PS5 replacement cover plates. They are near perfect colour match to the original plates, but are patterned.
Swapping these over was very straightforward. There were no instructions in the box, but the official PlayStation website has a very clear illustrated guide – if it’s the first time that you’ve changed covers on a PS5 or you’re unsure what to do, then it’s definitely worth checking.
There are lots of third-party PS5 covers available now – if you like the design and can get these at the right price then I would definitely consider them.
I got these for my son’s ps5 as I thought it’d be a nice little add on for him. I left him to fit it and he did a great job. He said it wasn’t difficult as you just kind of prize it off so there are no special tools needed.
The case itself is well made and feels good quality. My thinking is that it will keep the console in good condition, then if and when he eventually comes to sell his machine, he can replace the old ones and it will look as new. This case is in red and looks pretty cool.

A brilliant cover with smart modern design that is really tough and sturdy, this will protect your PS5 keeping it looking immaculate, very important when it comes to selling especially as it’s white. It’s a snap on design that is easy to install. I think this is well worth the money so much better than a wrap. Definitely recommend this.

This fits very easily in minutes and feels stronger than the OEM cover, another bonus is this looks so much fresher and I can keep my OEM cover in the box to keep it fresh, it feels premium and overall gives my ps5 a unique look that I love.
I found this easy to fit and it feels stronger than the OEM cover and also preserves my OEM cover as it is now packed away in the box, this looks very modern and fits perfectly, just note this is for the disk and not the digital edition, all in all, a great looking upgrade.

A good replacement cover for the PS5 there really easy to install you simply just line up the holes and slide back in position.
The white cover is a slightly different shade to the white of the OEM on the PS5 however, this cover does kinda add a little more detail to the PS5 compared to the plain white cover plates.
The material is ABS plastic it feel really durable just like the original with shock protection so if you do travel with your console this should be a piece of mind that it shouldn’t easily be damaged.
This only works with a PS5 disc edition and not the disc less device.
One thing to note is that this face cover is alittle thicker than the original PS5 cover plates they still fit well however it you have a stand for your PS5 you might notice it will be slightly tight when you attach the stand.
The plates come in a box wrapped in bubble wrap when i received them they were in perfect order.
All ports on the console are not impeded when the plates are put in place.
Overall its a great replacement if your looking to give your PS5 a facelift, at 31.99 this might seen expensive however if you look at other replacement plates you will find theses are not the most expensive on the market so value wise there ok. The material are also of good quality aswell.
This is a base, with a built in cooling fan, 2 x controller chargers, ps remote holder, and 10 game box space holder.
There are 4 speeds to the fan, and speed has a different colour when lit up. Controllers are easy to mount for charging. Base is sturdy, it’s the same premise as the stand you get with the ps5 (base with a screw into the ps5). The base means the PS5 can only be stood vertically, and the base uses 2 USB slots in the back of the PS5, which is perfectly fine unless you own the PSVR from PS4 days, in which case you already use one of those spaces for the PS camera (as you need the PS camera adapter to use PSVR on PS5). I thought disaster – but the base seems to work perfectly fine with only one USB slot plugged in, meaning you can still have PSVR and the camera all set up alongside this base. Only time will tell if it is problematic only plugging in one usb, otherwise it is a pretty fab product!

Great product makes my PS5 look so much better in Black, great price and well worth the money. Is a little bit of a fiddle to get the covers on, but watch some YouTube videos and you will have no issue’s.
The good thing about these is that they have detailing on the plates, whereas most available plates are plain. They have lines and edges which catch the light and look more appealing. They look great and were easy to fit. They clicked in with no problems and lined up perfectly. For third party plates they are a bit expensive as official products are not that much more but the quality is there so they are probably worth it.
I’m not entirely convinced with the standard design of the PS5, with its white plates set against the shiny black body. However, with an all-black design, it certainly does look a lot better to me.
The plates on the PS5 are easy to come off, and these replacement plates are a perfect fit. When on, for me it greatly improves the look of the PS5.
The replacement plates are thick, with the same thickness as the originals, and certainly look and feel like the will last the same amount of time. Overall, a great replacement to get and will enhance the look.
although in general I recommend this product, once installed it looks great I feel I must address a couple of things…
1. it’s NOT dustproof, not that I ever expected it to be, it gathers dust just as easilly as the basic one, however it’s actually harder to wipe clean due to texture on side, this may partially be due to me using it on the side and as such there is more surface on top but it’s gathering dust just as fast as the original
2. It’s no-where near as easy to install as they show, this may be due to my own inexperience with removing the plates in the 1st place (I even found that to be tricky before I knew how to do it properly, but after failing to get it to clip into place so much that I was even considering sending it back I tried to put the original back on and it chipped in instantly, the Heystop plates required a lot more force to clip into place to the point that once I had finally installed it, I never wanted to remove again due to concern that I’d not be able to fit them (the videos on the site explained nothing and had the demonstration go so quick that it was worthless.
these gripes aside, I am still happy with the purchase but wanted to warn people that they are not as perfect as they try to claim
This was very easy to fit and as well as looking great it also means my original side pannels will stay mint, it well finished and fitting really does only take minutes and can be accomplished by anyone, all in all, really happy with it.
The HEYSTOP PS5 faceplate is a nice upgrade for any PS5 owner.
Strangely it adds a bit of intrigue to an already striking device.
It is made from strong and durable plastic, which complements the existing black accents on the PS5, and enhances the premium feel.
As the PS5 is only currently available in white, which likely stands out from other TV equipment, this faceplate allows the PS5 to blend in a little.
Attachment to the PS5 is very straightforward using the online video, although please note this will not fit the digital edition.
Overall, I am very pleased with the faceplate, which is a smaller outlay than the official PlayStation faceplates.
The product is well packaged and the front and rear panels are well protected in the box, and the actual product is as described. The design of the appearance is very strong, and it looks much better than other products of the same style.There are also step-by-step diagrams illustrating the removal/installation process which is very helpful. I am extremely satisfied. Now the console finally looks awesome.
Looks way better than the white one. It fits perfectly and theyre using great quality materials. The outer design is cool and is definitely more my style than the old one. Just the fact its black makes it look way less bulky than than the original. Im really happy with it and i would recommend to anyone whos wanting to get rid of that huge ugly white thing sony stuck you with. Amazons service was excellent as always. A+++
HEYSTOP have built a reputation for making products that are just as good, if not better than the official product. This PS5 faceplate cover has all the qualities you might expect. It feels sturdy in the hand and HEYSTOP claim it is shockproof, but no one will be dropping their PS5 on the floor. They also claim it has strong heat dissipation but I’m not sure how to properly test that.
It reminds me of one of Batman’s armoured suits, and it is much more stylised and contemporary than the stock faceplate cover. I doubt there is a better looking faceplate cover out there, and at this price it’s a bit of a bargain.
Although slightly fiddly to fit (you’re tugging quite hard on an expensive bit of kit), these are pretty sturdy and well-made with no rough edges etc. They fit into decor a little better than the PS5’s original covers, and they’re cheaper than the official Sony versions too – a good buy overall.
This cover is brilliant. I think it’s far better than the branded version, it’s very easy to fit and it takes the device up a level in terms of looks. It’s well designed, ideal to provide better protection from dust and dirt and likely to prevent serious damage if the PS is dropped. It’s shock absorbent.
But the best thing is the way it looks. It’s elegant and practical and I’ve already been asked where I got mine from. Not available in the stores apparently. Love it and highly recommended.
This cover case for the PS console it great to keep the console safer and more secure for longer. Very easy to assemble, it fits perfectly. Nice and modern design, beautiful black colour. Sturdy and durable material.
The HEYSTOP PS5 Faceplate looks cool, is better at hiding grubby fingerprints or dust and feels super high quality.
The box is quite generic – referring to a ‘P5’. Inside it contains both faceplates, wrapped well in bubble wrap and an additional sticky, peelable wrap around each.
Replacing the faceplates is super simple, there are videos online to show you how to do it, but no tools are required. You pop and slide off each faceplate and replace. I was initially nervous that the PS5 may not fit in my wall mount any more but the plates are a very good fit. If anything only marginally bigger than the originals.
The faceplates have an attractive design that looks like it’s made of multiple materials (though I believe it’s all ABS). The console becomes entirely black with this replacement which looks really great. The White LED when the console is on also pops more with this.
The listing talks about it improving heat dissipation but I have no means of testing that and not entirely sure how it would do this.
Overall, at 31.99 at time of review, I’m really happy with this considering it’s also a lot cheaper than the official soon to be on sale. This is a high quality replacement too, that looks like it will withstand time better than the official cover.
As soon as custom faceplates were available, I immediately snapped up a plain black version which is very smart; however, this faceplate by HEYSTOP recently caught my eye with its super cool design.
This faceplate combines matt, gloss and “carbon fibre” black in various patterns which gives it nice look.
Faceplates are really easy to remove & install. For anyone struggling, there are many video guides available online.
It’s worth 32 and it’s really solid, durable and good quality. It’s faster and better than the Cover brands that take longer to ship from the US and are technically out of stock until August.
I wish Sony could make covers like this. Maybe it would be better if they sold PlayStation with a special design instead of a cover. I guess they don’t want to ruin the original but these covers do a better job than Sony, I’m sure 🙂
I have the black PS5, it looked very cool but after the cover I realized how cheap my PS5 looked. I think I will use this cover until I sell it or get a new one.
