This is a great item, with my only reservation being that the one I received had been opened, the warranty card was missing and the probes were loose, not wrapped in individual plastic bags. This strongly suggests that it was a customer return. While I wouldn’t want Amazon or the seller to start scrapping returned products, I do think that it should be stated when they sell returned goods as brand new.

I bought this to use on a Weber gas grill, as I didn’t want to pay the price for the igrill which is considerably more expensive. I used this to cook a large Turkey on Christmas Day on the gas barbecue. The app was easy to download, set up and use. The controls are fairly intuitive and simple. I used 1 probe in each breast, 1 in the thigh and 1 as a pit probe to show the temperature of the barbecue. Later I used it to cook a large stand pie in the oven. Both the turkey and pie were cooked perfectly.

    Couple of minor niggles:

When used on the barbecue it lost connection to the app when I was in the lounge, but we do have an old cottage, so that might explain it. I had to move the phone into another room that was a bit nearer to the barbecue outside, and then it was fine. I’m sure it would be perfect if sat outside, and it was fine when used inside the house, in the oven.

The temperatures you set don’t change automatically when switching from centigrade to Fahrenheit. That could catch people out. So if you set it to 70, then remember and change it from centigrade to Fahrenheit, it stays at 70.

When adjusting the set temperatures you can only do one press (1 degree) at a time, pressing it each time. You can’t keep a finger on the app and let it automatically run up or down.

My son brought along his gadget and I used it to roast the Christmas turkey in my kettle BBQ. It worked so well that I’ve bought one for myself! For the first time I was able to accurately control the temperature in the BBQ, and monitor the internal temperature of different parts of of the meat, simultaneously. When the meat reached the desired temperature, an alarm went off in the free app on my phone, even though I was inside the house and the BBQ was outside. I ended up with the best, juiciest and tastiest turkey I have ever produced. Brilliant – I love it!

By the way, a similar product from a leading kettle BBQ manufacturer costs nearly 3 times as much.

I am writing this review after two full years of use. This is an excellent unit for getting your meats just right, whether using it on the BBQ or in an oven.
The four probes are excellent an you can get everything cooked to just the correct temperature.

The app is excellent; there was no trouble in getting it to connect with the phone and you can relax, with confidence, while the various meats cook.

It has been used extensively over the past two years, more so on a BBQ than in an oven.
It has performed flawlessly and still works as good as first day.

    Highly recommended.

Far better than using the temp on the BBQ. 4 probes is very generous, I’ve only ever used the ambient probe and one meat probe at a time.
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is Bluetooth. I know it has its ranges but once you lose range you lose all the previous heat data from the probes. Obviously don’t go too far from the probe with your phone.

I got this on a lightning deal, which made it good value for money. It works well and the app is easy to use. Decent enough range on the bluetooth too.

Let’s not mess around. If you have ever wanted a wireless thermometer stop looking and buy this. It just works, beautifully. I’ve BBQ’d the juiciest chicken with this where before I was overcooking them and making them dry.

Works well and the number of probes allow monitoring of different things or different parts of the same thing.
The app works well and allows alarms to warn of temp and allows for the “doneness” of various things. There is also a custom settings and you can personalize all the settings too.
    Really useful item.
If you are alone and slow cooker the graph setting is useful too to montior how the oven has performed too.

A useful bit of kit. The app could do with an update to address a few needed interface improvements but overall it works well and is accurate to within a couple of degrees (I put the probes in boiling water to test). You can set a target temp and the app will tell you when you have hit it so you don’t under or over cook. Probes don’t have colours on them which would be useful for identification but it’s not too much bother to follow the wire to see which one is which number.. I wish the wires connected to the other end of the unit. You can turn the screen round but then it’s sloping away from you if you have it on a table next to your barbecue. If you have something metal, and not too hot, to stick it to though then the magnets are strong and this would work well stuck virtually.

I’ve been using my Inkbird BBQ thermometer for quite a while now both indoors and out, it’s simple to use and wonderfully accurate.

Having bought an outdoor ceramic oven I wanted a wireless BBQ thermometer that would monitor temperature in various areas over long periods of time. My kamado egg recipe book recommended the Inkbird IBT-4XS so I thought I’d give one a go. I now realise why the Inkbird was recommended, it’s exactly what I needed, I’m able to accurately measure temperature different parts of the oven and in different joints of meat all at the same time. Perfect!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe bought this for an alternative use to bbq’s. The four probes have been inserted in the back of a 4 oven range alongside the ovens own temperature probes. We have been using this now for over six weeks and its highlighted how inaccurate the temps on the control knobs are (on a 4000 range) and has allowed us terrific control when using the ovens as we can set the temperatures very accurately. The display is simple and clear, we avoided all other probes with nonsense graphics of cows and chickens and a multitude of unnecessary timers on the displays. One touch turns the temperature sensor on and the bright clear LED numbers can be seen right across the kitchen. Battery life is awesome, with daily use we are charging the unit every four weeks. The only improvement we could suggest (for our purpose) would be to be able to select one probe at a time as opposed to the scrolling through the temps continuously. The Bluetooth app adds additional functionality, but for our purposes we have not been using it. Its, just excellent.

Used to monitor home oven temperatures, EXCELLENT, simple, EASY TO SEE display, long battery life

    Hello everyone

This product delivers what it said it would, and for that price its very great. Although the app what not simply enough I think some updates will improve the experience so much. Anyways the app does have great features once yoh used to it, it display information of the cooking history and temperature which I found great to adjust your smoker temperature. I did to this time (writing this review) four BBQ and smokings, the product did what it supposed to do no that complicated. Also one think to note the product props; three for meat monitoring and one for the grill, over etc…

One miner inconvenience was the app doesn’t have the option to switch to only notifications vibration, because I didn’t wanted to have a loud sound notifications on my phone.

That being said, its still great produc

Much better range than Meater+ for 1/3 of the price. Plus 3 extra probes. Accurate – tested in boiling water. After a 7 hr cook the unit still had 84% battery left!
Gotta be careful not to close the software on your phone or risk losing historical data for your cook. Also, their temp graphs can go out of bounds (i.e. cant see the top numbers). Other than that – no complaints.
Lot’s of presets for different meats/temps

I bought this as I’ve been watching every meat smoking programme on Netflix and if Santa thinks I’ve been a good chap, hope to start smoking in the new year with an offset smoker.

I tested this out in the oven tonight with a whole chicken. I went with the 4 probe because I figured that when I come to doing a full smoke, I may come to wishing I’d just gone for the 4 in the first place.

The app is really smart and easy to use. It was literally a case of switching the unit on, hooking it up to the app, click the chicken preset and poke the bird.

I used two probes tonight, one in the leg, the other in the breast. For me, even if I never used this for smoking, is that monitoring the whole chicken throughout the cook gave some good information on how quickly parts of the meat come up to temperature, and that every time you check on the bird, you’re losing heat (obvious but to see it on the app helps to stop the itch).

I like this bit of kit and it really does seem to help me to understand what I’m cooking and takes away the worry that the food is under/over cooked.

This is great for trying checking the temp of your meat – brisket & the accuracy is goo as I checked with a Thermapen.
I only have one issue & that is that it did lose connection with my phone, but that is becase I live in a 17th century thick walled cottage & the signal had to pass through about 4 x 1 foot walls to get to my office, but was ok once I placed the phone outside the office & it had clear LoS(line of site) through to the bbq outside.
    Happy with this.

Good Bluetooth range on this. I was able to stay in the house whilst this monitored my pork shoulder.

The app is not bad at all, not the slickest experience, but definitely gets the job done. One negative is that when it did lose connection as I walked to the far side of my house, the temperature history chart resets. It would be nice if the temp data were to persist.

I watched a lot of YouTube videos before deciding to buy this and overall I’m not disappointed, so would recommend. Definitely great for the price.

I enjoy cooking steak on the BBQ, but always have a sense of never really knowing when something is properly cooked. I’ve tried timers, the thumb on your fingers thing, the steak cooking app – all very mixed.

These are great. You put them in the steak (or whatever) and use an app to programme your alerts. I use the US FDA for steak; the temps are a bit lower than the app defaults.

The app, and the display, alarm when the desired temperature is reached. There are 3 food probes and 1 air probe in the pack.

It would have been good if the probe wires were colour coded, as a tangle of wires on 3 steaks can be tricky to see which is which. It would have been better to be wireless, but at the time I didn’t want to spend more on something I wasn’t sure of.

This was bought for smoking meat. It was so simple to set up and the temperature alarms are brilliant. One probe is set up to use to check oven temperature, the others are sharp to push into the meat. You are notified if you stray too far so that you lose the Bluetooth signal which seems to work up to at least 50m. The suggested temperatures for various things are very good. After cleaning my cables for the first time, one of them stopped working. I emailed customer support and the response time is quick! Within a few hours a polite and clear explanation was given (clean the probes but don’t submerge the cables) and my problem was fixed. I wish the cables were waterproof as BBQs are by nature a little messy but this is an excellent thermometer. Definitely get one!

Great device to use which gives you accurate readings for you bbq and internal meat readings. Alarm settings are a bit of a pain because it you program it for a range and you lift the lid to check the meat the alarms goes off along with you moving away from the ink box the alarm goes off. If it had a delay on the bbq temperature to over come this would be good. But found the ink box easy to use with accurate settings. Meat turned out perfect for a first attempt so can’t be to bad.

I think this is a must for any bbq. It guides you on the perfect internal cooking temperature which for steaks includes how you like it (rare, m rare etc) whilst for chicken it’s just vital. Yesterday I was cooking a chicken breast and after over 12 mins on the grill it looked ready but this helped me quickly spot that it needed longer and importantly keep it on the grill the whole time.

I do get confused by which probe is which, I may paint the ends different colours to help. I’d actually recommend you buy a smaller version to avoid this problem and save a little cash.

Rechargeable battery lasts ages and range for phone is pretty good maybe 10m if you go indoors and 25m outside.

The thermometer via bluetooth is quite good for monitoring and setting the internal temp of food. I am cooking shoulder of pork and have set my own setting for this. On the app you can also use the external probe to see what the temp of the bbq is(see pic) unfortunately if it’s over 250f then it wont be shown on the graph. It works well in the wet and the magnet is good.

However I attached this to my not in use bbq and it had some left over coals in it from putting my chimney.got to about 100 deg c and melted the back of it. It still works however but dont put it any wear near heat.

    Good for the money

So need a way to keep an eye on each meat as they smoke/cook.

You can never go wrong with over/under cooking meat again. Its fool proof design is great. I love this version has a prong for the temp in the smoker, this is great when I’m trying to get up temps at the start.

If you have a BBQ/Smoker, then this is a must-have. Bluetooth’s range is very good, I’ve got a 70ft (21.34 metres) garden through a window that works great.

I was going to get a weber igrill 3 but thought I’d give this a try for 40% of the cost and I’m not disappointed. Really easy to use and the app is fantastic. It warned me when the temperature of my BBQ was getting too high or too low while I slow smoked a brisket . It was my first brisket and the only problem was that I didn’t allow enough time to cook it so ended up putting it on direct heat and doing half an hour of cooking in what should have been two hours more slow smoking. Was still delicious though . If I didn’t know the temperature then it would have been under cooked. Can’t believe what you get for the price to be honest. Really impressed.

I don’t usually write an immediate review bit I am super impressed with this product. The setup to my android was seamless and the product works extremely accurately to cook the perfect cut in my oven. The cabling fits through the oven door easily.

True you can get much cheaper non-smartphone thermometers and they’re great but the convenience of sitting in the next room and waiting for an alarm is great especially when the meat comes out absolutely perfect with minimal effort or guessing…or worrying.

Sorry to sound like I own the company (which I don’t!) But this product has given me a really REALLY easy way to perfectly cook usually very difficult things (small birds or small cuts of meat) while I watch TV!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI already have the Inkbird IBT-2X and am very satisfied with it.
of course the two additional channels! I didn’t think I needed more than two, but if the cooking room temperature was to be recorded, I was able to measure the core temperature in one piece of meat at the same time. — A real added value!

    – the length of the sensor cables. With approx. 1.5 m, these are a good bit longer, which is especially beneficial when grilling.

    – the magnetic holder. This makes it easy to attach the device to a cool place from the grill housing. The IBT-2X does not have such a thing, which is why I always fell off the grill. I then fixed it with cable ties. But the magnetic holder, of course, is much more comfortable.

    – the rotating indicator. Depending on how to align the IBT-4XS, the temperature display can be rotated appropriately. This is not vital, but nice-to-have J

    – the charging option directly in the device – so I do not need to take out the batteries, but simply charge via USB charger (from the mobile phone or similar).

Otherwise, there is only to say that the Inkbird IBT-4XS works perfectly and reliably

Having 4 inputs gives confidence that the meat is cooked and what the ambient temperature is (gives a good idea when more charcoals are needed).
The bluetooth connection lets you get on with other things.
The software allows you to set limits and alarms either by preset or setting your own. switching C/F is easy as, allowing you to follow american recipes with ease.
I was concerned that there was no way to turn off the display to save battery life but the charge is more that enough.

I bought this against the advice of friends who said it would be ‘a dust collector’ and ‘not needed’ however, I ignored them, and glad I did!
    It is simple to use and pair to your phone (I use a Google Pixel 3 and it works fine with it) I tried it three times over a few days;

    Try 1) Steak – BBQ –
Get the BBQ up to temp, sear the steak for around 30 seconds or so each side, then take it off, insert the probe, and place the steak on the furthest part of the bbq away from the burner (only light 1 burner, keep the others off) and close the lid. I had set the app to tell me when it reached the temp for medium steak.

… Result = PERFECT medium steak, and it was gorgeous!

    2nd Try;
Steak – using a griddle pan, sear for 30 seconds each side, take off and insert probe.
Then insert into fan oven @ 180degrees – temp set for medium on the app.

    Result = PERFECT steak again!

    3rd Try

Salmon – Inserted the probe into the salmon, placed it inside baking paper, oven baked, set salmon temp on app –

    Result = Perfect salmon!

Really, really happy with this, I bought the 4 probe version, in fairness, I have not used it with more than one dish at a time, but I am confident it would work well.

Thing is, whilst I am not Chef Ramsay, I CAN cook a decent steak, but a few times I have messed it up, yet now I won’t worry about that, as this Thermometer will ensure I get a proper cook to how I want it every time.

Lets also not forget, temp is far more important than timing, how often do we overcook things ‘just to be sure’ and end up ruining them? Instead of setting a timer for x amount of minutes, use this temperature probe, and let that tell you when it’s done, not guesswork!

Hope this helps if you are deciding whether to purchase!

    Brilliant! Highly recommended!

I have tried a few meat thermometers in my time, and this has to be my favourite so far.

Having 4 probes available is much more useful than I had thought, I was able to place 2 probes in my pork butt for 8 hours, while having another on the grill, and one in some ribs I had put on aswell. This was my first time with a phone compatible app to go with it, and the app was really simple to use. You can quickly set your own custom presets and and the presets and alarms are extremely handy. The graph is also a great addition, it means I can track the progress of anything I’m cooking.

Really easy to use, accurate and the app is really useful. Would recommend. Does as much or more than a Weber iGrill for less than half the price

A great little bluetooth thermometer that can take 4 probes. Accompanied by a great little app. I run this of my phone or a dedicated tablet. Bluetooth signal from unit is great and monitoring grill temps from indoors can be very useful. One warning the ready alarm is VERY loud and will make you jump or even think it’s your smoke alarm. I have used on my mini kamado and bullet smoker simultaneously as it comes with 4 probes which is very useful

Great unit and a great price with bluetooth connectivity

Awesome product for the money. Makes using my smoker much more relaxed.
I’ve knocked a single star off as occasionally the app restarts and when this happens, I lose the graph history. It’s minor but annoying. Perhaps the app could persist this data and ask the user if they want to reset or continue the existing data?

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersVery easy to set up, but it wasn’t too clear that the pairing button is a touch sensitive black circle on the front of the device.
Ran it from my Samsung phone. In the apple App Store i needed to select ‘iPhone only’ option to find the App for my iPad. Ofc, it runs in portrait mode on the iPad ;(
Bluetooth only but I had no lost connection problems compared to my meater device (awful to remain connected with meater, tho I dont know if it’s better nowadays) Very basic app with a list of editable temperature meat types plus a progress chart.
Bought for bbq so I used a probe on the grill plus one in the meat itself. Temperatures mostly echoed an old wireless thermometer, but sometimes there was up to three degrees difference.
Probes can get hot so have your bbq gloves somewhere handy.
finally, don’t do as I do and leave on the rubber tip protector! Take the darn thing off first 🙂

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersI’m quite new to smoking meat and I am really unsure of cooking times, etc. In such cases, a thermometer is crucial to test meat for doneness without cutting the piece open and ruining it. This thermometer really helped me. I had a big brisket to smoke, which I had to chop in 3. The fact I had 3 probes with independent metering really made the process seamless and allowed me to remove the pieces of meat from the fire on time.
If there’s a default, it’s only the lack of loop for a cord and a pouch (this one you can buy separately). As far as the thermometer goes, I don’t think it could be better. The battery didn’t even reach 50% after 8h of smoking.
Ah! and it was incredibly accurate. Once it reached 200F, I removed the meat from the fire and let it rest. When I opened it, the brisket was tender and moist and yet, perfectly cooked. Totally recommend this!

    Fool-proof, life-saving thermometer!

Couldn’t be happier. It takes so much uncertainty out of bbq when I can monitor oven temperature and internal temp of food. I feel like a bit of a bbq pro. My performance, however, doesn’t represent this.

As with all ink bird products I’ve had this was easy to setup and use. I was able to monitor the BBQ temp and the meat, I actually added a lamb rack (after these pics) and easily monitored both together.
Easy to set the food presets on the phone and the alarms kept me informed as the food was cooking.
If you want a good thermometer that uses your phone then I recommend this.

    Perfect beef!

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersFirstly when it arrived its nicely packaged up includes the thermometer display, 4 probes and a charging cable for the inbuilt battery.

I like that the probes are slim. So I can fit them through the grommit on my bbq where my other probes have to be tucked under the lid.

In use (making sure the probes have been clicked in properly) the inkbird is accurate and handled my cook with ease. I had one probe measuring the grill temperature and the other in the pork shoulder I was cooking.

I have downloaded the free app and having had a brief pay around with it, it seems that it will do everything I need and the Bluetooth range is about as expected.

Its up there with my other thermometer which cost considerably more and has less probes. All in all I don’t think you can go wrong.

As a side you can get a case to match the inkbird, which has a foam inner cut to hold the inkbird and keep all the probes tucked away.

What a product. It is simple to use straight out of the box. Download the app and away you go. App is very simple to use with a great selection of presets. Charge lasts ages, bluetooth range is fantastic. I have other bbq monitors and this beats them all.

I loved everything about this Bluetooth thermometer, it has long distance range and comes with four probes witch is awesome, also this connects up to there app witch makes this really really decent, the app makes this so user friendly with user presets and you can add custom presets, also has alarms that you can turn on or off, I was happy with the big display and easy read led numbers. I’m really happy with how it performs and is so easy to use.

Im new to REAL bbq cooking… I was your typical “burnt and dry” bbq cook

After doing my homework i started to get a little better and learned a few tricks.

The biggest hold back was my lack of temp monitoring!.. i had read reviews and ssen recommendations from others who said it was value for money.. i love mine… it helps cook perfect meat and gives you accurate readings so you can leave the meat to cook…

I use 1 to measure grill temp at coals and 1 to measure away from coals

Then the rest go in the meat…

The bbq go app makes life a lot easier too, it means you can set alarms at desired temps and dont need to check the unit… only wish id bought a waterproof one!!

Makes cooking perfect meat so much easier!!

First use of this today and I’m very impressed. Connection was maintained all through the 2 hr cook, the app is easy to use and I particularly like the option to set and maintain your own temp parameters. The temp graphs are good, but it would be better to have all the probes on one graph and to save the graphs to look at later on. Also really like the magnetic transmitter. Very pleased with the unit and I’ll be getting plenty of use out of it.

Lovely sleek unit, easy to use.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersI don’t normally leave product reviews but I feel I just have to tell people just how GOOD this item is!! I ordered this item a couple of weeks ago after doing hours of research & I’m so glad I did! I’ve tried other brands in the past but this is by far the best unit I’ve owned. It is so easy to set up & use, it comes with a rechargeable built in battery & USB cable so no messing about changing batteries, I didn’t even need the instructions to pair it to my phone via Bluetooth, it was that easy even if you’ve never used one before & the range is excellent even through the house walls. The unit itself feels like a good quality robust piece of equipment with a large easy to read display & a magnetic base as an added bonus which sticks to the shelf on my smoker without me worrying about knocking it off. I opted for the 4 probe version as it give me more scope for different meats on my smoker even though I’ve only used 2 so far (the unit display will scroll between the probes when in use no matter how many you use 2,3 or 4. The app works well on my iPhone & is easy to set up & use, & is customisable to your requirements, I find the alarm function & the individual probe graphs very useful. All in all I cannot recommend this product enough! if I could leave 10 stars I would, If you are just starting out with BBQ/Smoking or been at it for years this is the thermometer for you! There are quite a few different manufactures of thermometers on the market but for the same money I guarantee you will not get better than this.

Best on the market by far!

I’ve so far experimented with the device making smoked chicken and garlic sausages in my Bradley Smoker – which require good temperature control so as not to overcook the chicken. 4 probes make it really handy to monitor a number of pieces of meat and identify hot / cold spots so i can move things around. The probes seem accurate and the device charged quickly. I was ready to be disappointed by the app but actually it was responsive and well laid out – will look forward to using again!
Only downside in my opinion is having to charge it – i’d prefer batteries so when i want to cook, i can cook – no waiting around for it to charge.
    Great device

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersThe Inkbird IBT-4XS is a brilliant little meat thermometer to be used while grilling or smoking. With the ability to use 4 probes at once, the IBT-4XS allows you to cook multiple items at one time in the Smoker/Kettle.

I have used it a couple of times now and have cooked a pork loin and lamb shoulder to perfect temperature thanks to the free BBQ GO App that the IBT-4XS works with. The App if you haven’t used it has 4 sections for each of the probes, and a desired temperature for all the main meats, with an option for you to make your own desired temperature if required. The App is simple to use, and with the Bluetooth option meant I can set the cook up and continue with other things without the worry of missing the alarm. Personally I haven’t found an issue with the Bluetooth distance, but I suppose that may be a problem if you have a large garden and your set up is at the far end as the range is 50 meters.

The probes are a good length so it will reach the centre of the meat and the cable doesn’t break even at 240 temperature which I found out on my last cook. The main body has a magnet so it can be put on the side of the BBQ to be kept safe.

Really is a great little bit of kit, as anyone who cooks a lot of BBQs they know that the fewer times opening the BBQ the better, and thanks to digital thermometers like this you don’t have to open it at all.

    Fantastic tool for BBQ dishes

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe Inkbird IBT-4XS arrived promptly and on unpacking looked a quality piece of kit. There are four probes which can be used to monitor the internal temperature of the meat or the bbq temperature, two clips are included to attach the probe to the grill. I cooked a couple of duck breasts on the Weber MT using the Inkbird. The magnetic backing was useful to allow ease of view when monitoring the cook and the Bluetooth connection with the Inkbird app allowed me to monitor the temperatures on my iPhone in the kitchen. Prior to the cook I calibrated the thermometer with iced and boiling water and found it accurate. The subsequent cook resulted in perfectly medium rare duck breasts. This Inkbird thermometer is very accurate and great value for a four probe unit. Highly recommended. If interested my cooks can be followed on Instagram @itsinthesmoke.

A quality four probe BBQ thermometer.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersOverall worth a buy, wish there was done way to turn down the alarm volume, can get a bit another sometimes and your can’t name a preset without setting it up for example I just want to use one of the probes to get temp of the grill area, no meat. This is not a big deal breaker though. Overall this product is great for is price, the battery is flipping amazing, accuracy is great, love the way I can use it on my phone, the blue tooth range is exceptional, the software is okay, needs a bit of T L C from the coders but again not a deal breaker, you can check temp of your bbq/ smoker remotely e.g you need to pop to the shops for another bottle of red, smoky use teamviewer app on a service device which is connected to the inkbird and you can connect using your phone to the fittest device, not great but Stewart least this allows you to check temp

Bought the 4 probe version to be able to monitor the temps remotely and liked the fact I could have 3 meat probes and one for the grill temp. App works well and stays connected even when I’m down in my garage which is under my house about 200 feet away. Would like to see a cloud based version which would be very handy when doing long cooks and having the ability to go away from the BBQ without losing touch.

I used this to hot smoke a 9lb pork shoulder, a beef brisket and also we cooked a saddle fillet of venison in the frying pan and then oven. Superbly accurate, and took all the guesswork out of cooking meat as you cook to a temperature not to a time. It’s transformed meat cooking for me. The iPhone app is excellent and the temperature graph is handy to track progress. Overall a great product.

Works really well, especially when used with the app from the Apple app store. Don’t make the mistake I made and attach it to the lid, it is not thermally safe plastic! I could find nothing in the instruction manual to warn me to keep away from heat, but I can’t fault their customer service; I explained what had happened and Inkbird sent me a replacement with no quibbles. Definately worth the money.

Excellent bit of kit. I have had many meat probes in the past and this is as good as any of them. Magnetic to sticks to the bbq, easy to use, works well with my phone. Most importantly it is accurate!

Only request would be to allow the user to re-name the probe when cooking so it is easy to see what temp you are looking at.

    Would recommend.
